When Saudi Arabia agreed to let women drive, major car companies publicly hailed that development. It was a step towards equality for women in the Kingdom and created a lucrative new market for the industry.
But since announcing it would lift the driving ban, the Saudi government has engaged in a large-scale crackdown on women's rights activists.
At least thirteen women have since been imprisoned in Saudi Arabia because of their activism.
And the same car companies that cheered the news last Spring are now silent in the face of these arrests.
Help us call on these companies to stand for the women that fought for this change. Join our campaign and ask them to #StandwithSaudiFeminists.
