Hi, friends ! This is All Out Campaigner Ana with an exciting update.
Last year I worked on a campaign with our friends from SOMOSGAY in Paraguay.
They had bought an old house, known as La Casa Embrujada (The Haunted House) and needed help turning it into a community centre and shelter for LGBT+ people and those living with HIV.
All Out members made donations which allowed SOMOSGAY to start working on the house. It was a lot of work, over many months. And earlier this month, they opened the new community centre!
Seeing the final result makes me so happy and I wanted to share it with you.

Hey! This is Sarah, All Out's Director of Supporter Engagement and I've got some news to share, too!
All Out worked with a group called Rasan earlier this year to help them paint murals about tolerance and equality in Sulaimanyah, a city in the Kurdish region of Iraq.
Rasan painted murals like those in 2017, but every single one was vandalised. They didn't give up and got permission from the government again to paint more murals.
So with the help of hundreds of All Out members who generously chipped in, a few weeks ago they were finally able to paint their city with the colours of equality.

All of this was only possible thanks to people like you who stand up for LGBT+ rights across the world time and time again.
Do you know more people who are fierce human rights defenders like you? We need them to join us so we can accomplish even more!
Thanks for going All Out,
Ana and Sarah
