Thanks to the ongoing between September 30 and October 4, 2018, talks between trade union
organizations and representatives of the board of Amazon Fulfillment Poland Sp. zoo for a
period of four months has been suspended the controversial system of evaluating employees,
which OZZ Inicjatywa Pracownicza has been criticizing for many months. ---- On behalf of
OZZ Employee Initiative operating in Amazon from September 30 to October 4, we negotiated
with the second trade union the Christmas Bonus Rules. The conversations were not easy.
Amazon initially offered a bonus depending on the magazine in the amount of PLN 1200 and
PLN 900 with a 4-week settlement period. The unions demanded a higher bonus, i.e. not
lower than last year, and the same amount for all locations. At the same time, the
employer made the introduction of any bonus subject to the approval of the amount proposed
by the management board by trade union organizations.
The final bonus amount of PLN 1,300 for POZ and WRO and PLN 1000 for KTW and SZZ, for
permanent and agency workers, does not satisfy us in terms of the amount, but we have
decided to accept it provided that Amazon suspends controversial provisions regarding the
employee appraisal system ( it is about negative feedback in terms of efficiency and
quality, so-called feedbacks, regulated by Annex 3 to the Work Regulations). It was also
possible to shorten the period of compulsory attendance to 3 weeks, required to obtain the
bonus (required presence refers to the period between 9 and 29 December) and introduce
additional exceptions that are not so-called. incident that does not receive bonuses
(special leave, medical visit to 1 hour, court summons).
Suspension of Annex No. 3, that is, giving feedback for standards and quality, we consider
breakthrough in the fight to improve working conditions in Amazon magazines. A document -
the introduction of which was never agreed with trade unions - allowed Amazon to dismiss
employees for failure to set the standard or quality. 100% of productivity was expected of
a warehouse worker, and in the case of receiving a total of 6 assessments due to the need
for attention within 12 months, or 4 such assessments in a row (rated on 1 week of work),
the employee was recommended to be dismissed, even if he was 99% of the norm .
Our relationship during leaflets, protests as well as ongoing lawsuits repeatedly
justified why the current rating system was biased, did not include down-time downtimes by
the employee and led to exerting psychological pressure on employees. This was referred to
by an expert in the court, writing in the expert opinion that "Work in the Amazon is not
adapted to the physical and psychological abilities of man and employee". Rising standards
(whose growth has not been consulted with representatives of the union) led to exhaustion
and eternal pursuit of the norm, which threatened the health of employees. In August, we
described this issue in the letter of Amazon's president of operations, Steven Harman. We
informed about the problem of the Labor Inspectorate,
Annex No. 3 to the Work Regulations was suspended for the period from 8/10/2018 to
31/01/2019. At that time, none of the employees will receive a negative assessment due to
too low productivity and quality and can not receive a contract termination on this basis.
By the end of January 2019, trade union organizations will agree new provisions in this
document during 8 meetings with representatives of the board - the first will take place
on October 18, 2018. If the employer fails to reach an agreement in relation to the
proposed changes by January 31, 2019, this will be extended to 28 February 2019.
The amount of the "Christmas Bonus" for employees of Amazon Fulfillment Poland Sp zoo and
agency workers is specified in the table below - it is calculated per week, and its
condition is the occurrence of a maximum of one absence from 9 to 29 December 2018.

When the beneficial event "Drop and Bee", linking tattoos and live music took place in
April in Pilsen Paper Mill , it was a surprisingly successful business. The organizers'
promise to repeat something like this soon came to its conclusion on Friday 28 September.
And we can say that the second round in many ways surpassed the first. ---- The holiday
day gave many opportunities for sports in Pilsen. Police deployment in the streets,
including a water cannon and a helicopter, ran for the match of the local club with Prague
Sparta. The pre-election tatrans are lured to balloons and empty passwords. If you wanted
to escape (or at least thought you were going to escape) and did not sit at home, Papirna
was one of the appropriate choices.
The program started here at two in the afternoon. Contrary to spring, the event expanded
to other areas. The first tattoo salon was the first to go with the colors and needles of
17 tattoos and tattoos. How many were their "victims" do not dare to guess. Some tattoos
have taken several hours. When paying for your picture, you could choose which project the
money will go for. You had three options right now. They were tattooed until about nine
o'clock in the evening, but some also did "overtime".
Admission to the event was 150 crowns recommended, but many visitors gave even more. You
can satiate with vegan goulash or taste the sweets prepared by homeless cooks and they
were offered by the people of the Punx 23 screen printing house. Their booths had animal
lovers from Fousky zs, non-natives cared for abandoned, tormented and sick cats, and
activists supporting the Sea Shepherd organization, which mainly focuses on the defense of
cetaceans, seals and sharks. Subsidiary literature was distributed here by the AF
Publishing House, and on the upper floor, a benefit bazaar of clothing from Ladies of
Bazaar was distributed. The afternoon program was complemented by a documentary film about
Sea Shepherd's activities on the Australian shores.
The disturbance to a rather sluggish afternoon brought a high concentration of secret cops
to the Papermill. At first, no one knew why they were interested in this benefit, in the
end, to show that they were here to protect the master of the great, the agroferta Babis
himself. He arrived before the elections to show up in the retirement home of the
opposite. But as he watched the agents in his black glasses and listeners around the
benches of people who had enjoyed the sunny autumnal sunshine just now, nothing more than

The musical part of the benefit that the local bands took care of came in at seven o'clock

merchants donated half of their sponsored projects. They made them Luska, and even when it
was just a guitar / drums duo, they made a pretty good noise. Acid Row did not even save
the noise. Eat Me Fresh and Povodí Ohre took care of the conclusion.
And how did the benefit itself? A total of 138,000 were selected, of which 90,000 were
attended by tattoos and tattoos present. As mentioned above, the tattoo funding was
devoted to tattoos, the others were divided equally, and so went to Fousky over 60, to Sea
Shepherd over 38 and to home cooks over 34 thousand. For distro AF, we positively
appreciate the interest in anarchist journalism and a great atmosphere at the event that
all of them have enjoyed. And know that the next round is coming for the spring of 2019.

On January 21st, 2018, in Thessaloniki, during the nationalistic rally for the Macedonian
issue, fascist groups attacked Libertatia squat, managing to burn most of the structure.
The same day, fascists attacked the Free Social Space Sholeio and the anti- nationalistic
demo in Kamara square. In the days that followed, the state, along with the ‘'deep''
state, continued with a new series of attack in Athens: during the corresponding
nationalistic rally on the 4th of February, 2018, when neo-nazi groups attacked the
squatted theatre Embros. Attacks were also launched by the Golden Dawn stormtroopers on
the 25th of February against the self-managing steki Favela, while the squat Lelas
Karagianni 37 became twice the target of incendiary attacks, the first on the 13th of
February and the second on the 30th of March.
These attacks prove to us a methodical targeting of the structures of our struggle from
the fascists. A targeting that goes hand in hand with state repression. Squats, as
struggle structures of the anarchist movement, in the whole of Europe, have played a vital
role for the growth and the evolution of the revolutionary movement. These attacks aim to
terrorize and isolate us. In squats relationships of solidarity and equality are built,
consciousness is created and revolutionary ideas are born. So, acknowledging their value,
we will let none take them from us and we will answer accordingly to all attacks.In recent
years we see repression and fascist attacks intensifying, both in Greece and in a
pan-european level (Spain, France, Denmark, Italy), against squats, social centers and
free social spaces. Therefore, we believe it to be an obligation of the movement to answer
by protecting its structures.
In the case of Libertatia, we cannot account the attack as the same like any other, the
specific circumstances of that day give to the attack a unique character, as what happened
that day could not be repeated any day. So, we consider it our duty to rebuild the squat.
The rebuilding, for us, concerns the whole of the movement who stood against every fascist
threat and dared to go out on the street as in Thessaloniki on the 21st of January so in
Athens on the 4th of February and, consequently, it is a collective responsibility for all
those who believe that fascism is destroyed openly, on the street. It is a chance to prove
that solidarity can (re)build structures of struggle, to show by actions the endurance of
our ideas. It is a part of the fight that stands as an answer to the state and the
fascists, who, in that day, by exploiting the circumstances and mobilizing all their
forces managed to build Libertatia. This choice was not random at all, since the squat has
been repeatedly targeted for its antifascist action in the last years and has been again
the target of attacks, of a smaller caliber.
On the 21st of January the comrades of Libertatia together with the comrades of APO
decided to not let the city become a hunting ground of the fascists and to stand against
the enemy in a public, announced anti- rally against the nationalistic rally, showing this
way that even in the worst days of nationalism's paranoia, the people of the struggle are
on the streets. This decision is, for us, of historical significance and constitutes a win
for the anarchist movement.Motivated by our ideas for a society of equality free of
oppression and exploitation and inspired by struggles that defended squats (Ryesgade '58,
Copenhagen '87, Villa Amalias - Greece '12 etc), we want Libertatia to continue and to
become a symbol of the antifascist struggle. We believe that the completion of the
project, as well as the process of rebuilding itself, will offer to the revolutionary
movement, they will help bring in new ideas and they will shape consciousness. They will,
also, provide a fitting response to the society as to who are we and what we are capable
of doing. We are not the ‘'deep'' state, the gangs and the forces of destruction but the
world of solidarity and the forces of creation. And this is one more reason why we
consider it a duty and a commitment to the movement to rebuild the building with our
terms, with our hands, as a first response.
The solidarity actions that began the day of the arson and escalated the next day in the
whole of Greece and abroad, with their main point being the demo of the next day,
22/1/2018, which gathered 2500 people, continued for all this time and, for us, peaked on
the 10th of March, in the panbalkan demo of solidarity which numbered 4000 people. This
demo signals a first circle of solidarity actions with Libertatia and gave a strong
message against the nationalistic rallies with the points of antifascism, antinationalism
and international solidarity. In spite of the heavy blow, we do not forget that the
threats of nationalism and war are still hanging over the Balkans and that it's a duty of
the anarchist and antifascist movement to confront on a central political level all those
that want to rewrite the blackest pages of history. For us the only feasible solution is
the anarchist movement to erect the barricades of internationalism and of solidarity
between the oppressed and to give organized and fighting answers. One such important
answer can and should be given with the defense of a structure that got attacked during
the nationalistic rally and the most important part of this defense is the rebuilding
itself, which can be achieved by the movement.We call the anarchist and antifascist
movement to support this effort. More specifically, we call for a pan- european campaign
of solidarity actions throughout October. We call every group, organization or person to
organize actions (talks, demos, financial solidarity actions etc) in order to give
collectively a resounding answer and a message of solidarity. Solidarity is what gives us
strength to continue our struggle against the state, fascism and capitalism.
