The far right in power was right in an initiative of solidarity with migrants. In
mid-October, the squat Chez Jésus on the Franco-Italian border was expelled by the
carabinieri. ---- Clavière is a small Italian village, ski resort of a hundred inhabitants
whose population can be multiplied in high season. Enclosed in the mountains, Clavière is
the last stopover point before the French border. Only a small kilometer separates the
last bus stop from the French border post, still shorter distance if one passes by the
mountain. It is here that opened in February 2018, in an annex located under the church of
the village, the squat Chez Jésus. ---- Jesus was a place of help, refuge and solidarity.
The group that opened it, made up of French and Italian activists, worked hard to help
refugees from Italy who wanted to join France. Last place before the border, Chez Jésus
was a place where refugees could rest, eat and equip themselves before undertaking the

On 1, 3 and 4 November 2018, a three-day event took place in Patras, in the self-managed
"On the Temple", on the occasion of the completion of the 5 years since the opening of the
site. From the very first moment of its operation, "On The Fear" has sought to act as a
reference point for the wider anarchist and libertarian movement as a political and social
venue for meeting, developing activities, political fermentation and collective
self-education. ---- On Thursday 1 November at 20.00, the first event was held to mark
Ursula Le Guin's work under the title "Ursula Le Guin, the anarchist of the two worlds.
From the Earthquake ... to the Anarres ". A suggestion was made by a stethy companion,
followed by the presentation of Le Guin's book "The Wild Girls", with the participation of
"Stand Out". This event is the first part of a series of events to be held in the hangout
with a general theme of libertarian ideas in literature.
On Saturday, November 3rd, at 20.00, the book "Explaining Anarchy to my Dad" was presented

to Stop arming Israel. This is also the message PSC wants to bring to the UK Government.
National PSC lobbies parliament each year and this year the focus is on the Stop Arming
Israel Campaign and the treatment by Israel of child prisoners. I will be attending the

In the meantime we continue to follow the events in Gaza with interest. 205 Palestinians
have been killed by Israeli forces since the 30th March and 20,000 injured. Nine
Palestinians were injured in recent air strikes on Gaza following rocket attacks on Israel
by Islamic Jihad, although there were no Israeli casualties.
In occupied Palestine, at least 29 structures were demolished by Israeli forces in the
month of September, displacing 51 people- including 23 children- and affecting a further
79 people, including 54 children. The village of Al Arakib in the Naqab desert was
demolished for the 133rd time!
