In much of France, this weekend of November 17th and 18th, we only talked about the famous
"  yellow vests  ". Movement born of anger against rising taxes, it is complex, multiple
and must try to understand it. One thing is certain, the majority anger that is expressed
there will not weaken as long as it is totally disregarded by the government. But it is
now necessary to build on the basis of what it was on November 17: to build demands, to
turn fachos, and to organize democratically. ---- A strong mobilization ---- Blockades of
highways, roundabouts, supermarkets, petrol stations have occurred in many places. 2,000
to 3,000 blocks, by more than 300,000 people on November 17 (and these are the government
figures !). Many renewed on November 18, and still some on Monday 19. This figure is
comparable to that of national demonstrations called by the unions of struggle, but this
weekend was found on blockages many people away from unionism, spontaneous renewals and
self-organized, small towns where mobilizations are rare, even villages.

Some figures, to take the measure of the event: 2,000 people in the rural department of
Aveyron, with dams in villages. In the Toulouse region, 300 people were mobilized in
Villefranche-de-Lauragais and 200 in Montgiscard.

It was impossible to enter Toulouse from 7am to 7pm Saturday. In Dreux, car traffic
blocked all weekend. The Normandy highway, blocked a good part of Sunday. And in Fougères,
in Ille-et-Vilaine, city of 20,000 inhabitants, 200 people still filtered the entrance to
the city Monday morning, while in Montpellier, the highway was blocked Monday, threatening
the supply of food. supermarkets !

On the form of the movements, it was very heterogeneous. Blockages of roundabouts
good-children, family and claims, but also people much more aggressive, brandishing the
blue-white-red flag as a banner. For example, if Fauville-en-Caux (76) blocked motorists
for a few minutes, with children laughing in a yellow vest on the aisle, on the
roundabouts around Dreux (28), it's dozens of blue-white-red flags that could be seen, and
much more aggressive blockers forcing motorists to place a yellow vest on their windshield.

Intolerable acts
As with every social movement, police repression fell on the protesters, with its share of
arrests, police custody and violence of all kinds. But that's not all. Racist acts have
been committed by some demonstrators: a woman wearing the veil was forced to reveal
herself, and racist slurs against black or Arab people were pronounced. Homophobic acts
also: insults and blockages longer for people recognized, rightly or wrongly, as homosexuals.

The extreme right is indeed one of the components of the movement, and these assaults are
probably partly attributable to it. But this movement is not reduced to it. In many
places, attempts at self-organization, social and ecological demands that go well beyond
the taxes on diesel, fachos transferred points of rendezvous.

Obviously, the situation is very different depending on the localities. But at a time when
self-proclaimed spokespersons are speaking in the media - sometimes bosses, sometimes
right-wing or far-right activists ! - at a time when different forces want to recover this
anger to fatten their hate, at the same time when people who have never made a
demonstration block the corner roundabout for 3 days, we must repeat strong ideas where
possible, participate in this anger.

Bring new ideas
On social and ecological bases, first of all. Let's not forget that this government, which
claims to take a green measure by taxing those who need their car, does not tax kerosene
on private planes and jets, nor the fuel on cruise ships ! This same government closes
SNCF lines, putting us in the obligation to use the car ! It also closes public services
of proximity, forcing us to do tens of kilometers to find a hospital, a maternity, a tax
center or a post office.

During this time, nothing is done so that we can live decently ! The SMIC remains
desperately low, and other wages follow. The clue point of the officials is frozen,
nothing to expect from that side. Retirees live for a lot under the poverty line while the
shareholders and the richest are gorging themselves. We must demand general wage
increases. And on that, let's be sure that it is not the bosses, nor the "  little ones ",
nor the big ones, who will help us ! Moreover, the MEDEF and SME bosses' organizations are
already starting to call for stopping deadlocks ! It is us, all alone, by the action, who
will obtain that.

That is why, wherever possible, the decisions of the movement must be taken in the most
democratic way, in grassroots committees to which all workers, all the unemployed, the
retired .es and young people can participate. For that, it will be necessary to be able to
transfer the fachos and the bosses of our struggles. We are legitimate to do it.

Yesterday, Sunday, November 18 , comrades and comrades from different points concentrated
in front of the fascist monument of the Valley of Cuelgamuros, now known as Valley of the
Fallen, to demand an end to the impunity of the Franco regime. ---- The CNT can not leave
all the victims of the dictator in oblivion and therefore demands: ---- - The withdrawal
of the bodies of José Antonio Primo de Rivera and Francisco Franco Bahamonde. ---- - The
expulsion, with previous audit of accounts and assets, of the Benedictine monks. And let
the state stop financing them, there and elsewhere. ---- - The transformation of the
Valley into a place of memory and memory of the victims of Francoism, where all Franco
symbology disappears, and above all, the cross. ---- - Recover the true term by which this
natural environment is known, "Cuelgamuros".

- A public condemnation and with consequences on the part of the Spanish State and all the
institutions and organizations that are part of the same, the coup d'etat of 1936 and the
pro-Franco regime.

- The surrender to the State, and to the people in general, of the documentation about the
people buried in the Valley, currently in the possession of the abbot of the monastery,
who treats it as personal and ideological.

- That the remains of the victims are exhumed, even after their death, were treated as
defeated and buried with their executioner.

- That the exhumation be made by carrying out DNA tests for the later judicialization of
the murders.

- The derogation from the amnesty law of 1977.

- That this process be accompanied by UN experts on genocide and enforced disappearances.

We continue here the series of articles on the place of industry in society. This second
text examines the consequences of the French revolution, and in particular the transition
to a liberal economy. The monarchy was "  responsible  " for the health of its people. In
the new society, only the economic power now counts. ---- In 1791, after the dissolution
of all the production regulation tools of the monarchy, the new regime resulting from the
French Revolution is facing entrepreneurs. The needs of society are enormous and the
industry takes off in France. Chemists are in the front line. Faced with the
ever-increasing demand for gunpowder production, the manufacture of saltpeter is
streamlined. ---- The first major industrial accident took place in Paris in the factory
of Grenelle, led by the contractor and chemist Jean-Antoine Chaptal in 1794. 550 dead, as
many injured ... The entrepreneur is not worried  [1].

The dominant thinking of industrialists is largely liberal. Let us quote Claude-Henri de
Saint-Simon, philosopher of industrialism: " We must organize an economic and liberal
regime (based on individuals) whose direct and unique purpose is to produce the greatest
source of well-being possible. "  [2]This finding, which is the birth of the consumer
society, encourages scientists who are also entrepreneurs and know how to make it
essential to the plan.

The experts in power
The management of artisanal and industrial activities will find a first milestone in the
constitution of the Health Council of Paris in 1802. This institution has the function of
monitoring unhealthy establishments. This jurisdiction, previously held by the
municipality, is put in the hands of "   experts   ". But this council does not have a
legal framework and it is impossible for it, under these conditions, to enforce its
arbitrations.

The State ordered in 1804 several reports to the Health Council to clarify and classify
the establishments. The very liberal Minister of the Interior, Chaptal, commissioned the
study to the Council headed by ... Chaptal to regulate harmful establishments. Chaptal was
the largest chemical manufacturer of the time  [3].

In conflict with the neighborhood for the emanations of its establishments, this
omnipresent character is supported against the tides by the First Consul Bonaparte. In
1810, Chaptal's work led to the adoption of the Decree on the Regulation of Classified
Establishments, establishing this legislative framework. This decree limited the scope of
pollutant control outside the plant, did not take into account the pollution of water or
soil, and even less the health of workers.

It is the prefects, also newly established by Chaptal (via the law on general
administration) who become depositories of the application of industry installation
standards. The only people who can lodge a complaint are the owners, in the framework of a
long procedure allowing the industrialists to exercise all their influence. The state
legislates for the profits of industrialists, the municipalities are deprived of all means
of action and the people pay the price of pollution.

"No one in the world, no one in history, has achieved freedom by appealing to the moral
sense of their oppressor" Assata Shakur ---- Another electoral farce is over. This time,
with broad national and state victories of a fascist mob that is actively nurtured by the
reformism of the institutional left. The reformists, besides fiercely defending their
esteemed bourgeois democracy, sabotaged and fought the popular struggle for two decades,
in their thrones as managers of Brazilian capitalism. The work of the PT governments,
which oscillated between social democracy and neoliberalism, brought frustration and
displeasure to the people. Added to this, the promises to the wind, the chasm between
discourses and practices of these governments led some of the working class to delude
themselves with an openly authoritarian and elitist alternative. An older way than going
forward, which has no end other than the cliff.

The hatred of the PT's conciliation policy, coupled with the festive inertia, which is
reported as a "critique" of "left" electoral reformism, paved the way for a false
polarization between political forces that triggered several episodes of violence among
the population. The second round was marked by the deepening of the violence, like the
murder of Mestre Moa, in Salvador - BA, committed by a voter of Bolsonaro; the death of
Charlione in Pacajus, in the interior of Ceará, which happened during a pro-Haddad
demonstration; and the death of Priscilla, trans woman murdered in the name of Bolsonaro.

In response, the field of the electoral left emptied the agenda of the economic
contradiction between capital and labor, posed by the deepening of the neoliberal project
in Brazil. It reinforced in the most grotesque and reactionary way the false polarization
between candidates, shifting the root of the problem to know who the manager of the time.
And worse, blaming the people for their defeat! Haddad and Manuela (PT-PCdoB) tried to
negotiate agreements with various sectors that could give them votes. Even negotiating old
guidelines in the feminist movement.

During the counterpropaganda, the pacifist sense of the word "love" was abused against
what is generalized as "hate speech, "blending the prejudices of Brazilian society with
the just anger of the people by the extreme worsening of living conditions in recent
years. Certain that they are on the side of love, reformers can not see political content
in abstention. Non-votes (blank ballots, blank ballots and non-attendances) accounted for
42.1 million voters. It was one of the biggest abstentions of the second-round record in
presidential elections. The fact that we reach this high number despite the polarization
caused by the feeling of antipetism and hopelessness is not by chance. It is a fact that
indicates that millions of people are dissatisfied with the own political model applied in
Brazil. It also shows that most of the people do not he feigns illusions about the next
oppressor to occupy the position of presidency of the Republic.

The electoral left called the Bolsonaro a simple "fascism", or as a proportional portrait
of the advance of fascism in society, reducing all possible positions and political
behaviors to vote in bourgeois elections. This vote is based on fragmented campaigns and
the proliferation of lies bought and divulged by big business owners. The 2018 elections
were marked by "fake news," a tactic used by the candidates who were best placed in the
polls. These fake news were spread by the people and caused that much of the population
was deceived or confused.

Reformism showed its true elitist face also in the argument that the vote in Bolsonaro
expressed the "ignorance" of the people, recommending that they "exchange arms for books."
The people know very well what violence is, because it is dying in the wars promoted by
the state! Who does not know and does not understand the real despair that is to witness
closely deaths and blood dripping daily is the petty-bourgeois reformist left who watches
everything from his couch on TV! The ineffectiveness of the PT governments in creating
solutions to the problem of violence is one of the factors that explain the illusion on
the part of the people about Bolsonaro. The conservative elitism of the reformist left,
which ranks political positions on the basis of "erudition", is the same thing that the
people want to teach the way to the emancipation and construction of socialism.

The justification of the sectors of the left that publicly put themselves as "critics" to
the PT government to capitulate and campaign for the PT in the current conjuncture, is
nothing more than a flutter of these presuppositions about the people. Or rather, a whim
of their own class prejudices. They assume that the people - who in fact can not find any
direction to follow in their radical class - are fascist along with Bolsonaro. That
Bolsonaro's victory is the expression of a fascist society, and that the PT could
contribute to stopping the fascist propaganda in the country, when it was this same party
that most contributed to the construction of this diffuse anger of a betrayed and
disillusioned working class with what was sold as "progressivism." In the reformist
equation, society = State = elections, and violence is completely sublimated.

There is a huge difference between humanitarianism and the struggle for socialism, and the
parties of the institutional left have proven in every possible way throughout their lives
that they have opted for humanitarianism, for the management of class and state violence.

Contextualizing the 2018 elections

Since Dilma Roussseff's arrest in 2016, the right wing was betting on the PSDB, which was
represented by Alckmin in the presidential elections of 2018. However, the figure that
appeared in response to the feeling of antipetism and hopelessness of the people was
Bolsonaro, with support from some sectors of the evangelical churches added to the
military, who appeared in the figure of his vice president, Mourão.

The Workers' Party and its satellites were stuck in the campaigns Outside Temer and Free
Lula, which ended up not giving good results. The PT during the elections bet their chips
on the candidacy of Haddad and Manuela, continuing with its policy of class
reconciliation. However, the bourgeoisie no longer needs the services of the PT, and it
now harvests what it has planted. For while still in the presidency of Brazil, he
fulfilled the role of the right tying social movements and criminalizing left-wing
militants, or even signing repressive laws such as the Anti-Terrorism Act.

As a result of the elections we had the victory of the Bolsonaro and Mourão (PSL / PRTB),
which won in all Brazilian states, but nine states that make up the Northeast. In addition
to the victory of Bolsonaro and Mourão in the presidential disputes, which are
respectively captain and retired general of the Brazilian Army, it is necessary to observe
that 2018 was the year in which more military were elected, totaling 73 military: 56 state
/ district deputies , 14 federal deputies and 3 senators. That is, we will have an even
more militarized and repressive state, openly promising to withdraw from social rights.

Bolsonaro's fascist speeches about "sweeping the reds of Brazil", "end the activism", and
a militarized Congress announce a scenario already in 2019 of deepening the withdrawal of
social rights at the base of the whip and the calla , the strengthening of the repressive
power, and finally, the intensification of the class struggle.

The moment demands the immediate organization of Mutual Support Committees, with reception
networks and legal support; self-defense of the people and direct action. This is the task
of all trade unions, the student movement and popular movements. We have to fight every
inch of the periphery and favelas, schools and universities, factories and other places of
work, fields and villages.

The right has lost the shame and is represented in the figure of the presidency of Brazil.
It feels legitimated to practice all forms of oppression and violence. The institutional
left can not radicalize in its actions, accommodated and committed that is in its ties to
the State.

Faced with the steamroller that only crushes us more each day, the working class has only
one option: to break with the reformist illusions and build an effectively revolutionary,
massified way to fight exploitation and capitalist violence that will only deepen of 2019,
captained by an explicitly fascist government!

ALL POWER TO THE PEOPLE!

FIGHT, CREATE, PEOPLE POWER!

ELECTION IS FUCKING!

ONLY THE ORGANIZED PEOPLE WILL MAKE REVOLUTION!

November 21 and 22 will be held at the University of Tanners two evenings around the
struggles in Rojava. On the program: a film screening and testimonials by international
volunteers returning from Rojava and Syria. ---- Event coorganized by Alternative
libertaire 37, The friends of tomorrow the big night, What what ? and members of the
Kurdish community. ---- Wednesday 22 November 2018 18h30-20h: Conference - round table -
debate  ---- University of Tours, Tanneurs site, amphitheater 1 ---- Irish, American,
Quebec and French, five militants returned from Rojava (Syrian Kurdistan) will tell their
military and civilian history of Manbij in Rakka and finally Afrîn. With them we will try
to carry out the difficult analytical work of the Syrian situation, the geopolitical
regional context and the revolutionary, self-managing and libertarian process that is
invented on the spot. We will be able to exchange points of view on this emancipatory
dynamic, its limits, its potential, and the indispensable international solidarity. Since
2014, the role played by the Kurdish left in dealing with jihadist atrocities in the
Middle East has put it in the spotlight. What is less well known is that in the areas it
controls, and particularly in Rojava, it has encouraged the rise of a counter-society on
feminist bases, social, democratic and, in a way, secular. Acritical support? Not because,
like any revolutionary process, it runs risks: an authoritarian drift is always possible,
as well as an instrumentalization by foreign powers (United States, Russia, France ...).
But more than anything, we will try together to consider the future political perspectives
for the revolutionary movements around the world, at the time of their decay in Europe and
their recomposition in the Middle East. This is all we want to address and from these
individual experiences and collective experiments allow a framework for debate and exchange.

21 November 2018 19h: Screening - debate, lecture hall 1.
University of Tours, Tanneurs site, amphitheater 4
Screening of the documentary film "Rojava, a utopia in the heart of Syrian chaos" by Chris
Den Hond and Mireille Court followed by a debate.

" In their battle against ISIS, Kurds and other people in northern Syria are trying to set
up an original political project in the Middle East, what they call" democratic federalism
". This project is contrary to the religious project of a good part of the Syrian
opposition, but also opposes the Arab nationalist project of the Syrian government. And if
that's not enough, they also oppose an independent Kurdistan. "We do not want an
independent Kurdistan for the Kurds, but a democratic and pluralist federation for
everyone," they say. From Qamishli to Kobane, from Membij to Rakka, this report describes
the laborious attempt of a new political experience in Syria, despite the obstacles of war
and a stifling embargo. "

Faced with police operations against libertarian spaces, we denounce the search for media
and social stigmatization for the construction of anarchism as a new public enemy. We
condemn witch-hunt, repressive action and political persecution in order to criminalize
social protest and only divert attention from the looting that is carried forward. ----
These facts mark a continuation in the emergence of militarization, the establishment of
fear and the imprisonment of social combatants as state policies. In this case, part of
the preparations for armoring and "security" at the G20 meeting to be held in Buenos
Aires, where the government wants to show the looters of global capital its ability to
control a people who are increasingly impoverished and oppressed by their policies.

A characterization of terrorists or infiltrates imposed on migrants and Muslims, now
anarchism is added. They can not neutralize ways of living and organizing themselves of
those who are struggling against exploitation, private property, and hierarchical
verticality, who seek greater freedom through free thought, mutual support, horizontality
and self-management, the values by which we fight in the spaces we build collectively.

History has shown that the libertarian force persists.

OZZ IP picket at the City Hall (Poznan, 23/11/2018) ---- Today, before the City Hall in
Poznan, a picket organized by OZZ Inicjatywa Pracownicza was organized. It was a protest
against employing people working in the buildings belonging to the city on outsourcing.
About 30 people took part in it, including employees and employees employed in the
abovementioned principles. ---- In six buildings belonging to the city of Poznan,
approximately 30 people are employed at concierges. They all have contracts signed with
other companies. They are on the so-called outsourcing. Despite the assurances that
external entities are subject to social clauses included in the tender conditions, then -
as the Employee Initiative established - employees' rights to employees were and are
repeatedly violated. Low fences paid out late, working time after even over 250 hours.
monthly (without overtime supplements), unpaid ZUS contributions from the full amount of
paid salary - these are just some of the irregularities found by the union. The IP issued
a stance on this point that the employee's Work Initiative delegation to President Jacek
Jaskowiak[read the position].

The union demands that:
1. Persons working in concierges in the abovementioned Since 1 January 2019, the objects
have been employed under a contract of employment directly by ZKZL or another company
belonging to the city.
2. We demand an audit and verification of the employment forms of people who work in
facilities belonging to the city, which deal with the supervision of property as well as
its cleaning.
3. Taking appropriate consequences towards companies and persons who committed irregularities.
4. Bringing the situation to the employees who lost on the above forms of employment,
repair the damage - especially in relation to remuneration.
