A chegada de migrantes venezuelanos produziu um arcaico sentimento patrioteiro e
nacionalista em diversos setores da sociedade peruana, que se vê traduzido em xenofobia,
intolerância e racismo contra as pessoas recém chegadas. Um discurso inaceitável entre
ativistas e coletivos que aspirem a construir uma sociedade menos violenta contra as
pessoas mais vulneráveis. Por isto, as anarcofeministas nos pronunciamos[no Dia
Internacional do Imigrante, comemorado na sexta-feira, 15 de dezembro]: ---- Migration is
a completely normal phenomenon throughout human history. Just as our mothers and
grandmothers arrived in Lima decades ago fleeing the violence and misery of the interior
of the country, encountering racism and discrimination on the part of Limenhos, now
Venezuelans are seeking a better future for their families. Also like many Peruvians who
left the country. They should not be subjected to violence by governments, police forces
and even less of some intolerant sectors of society.
It is argued that more people in Lima, eager to get a decent job, will increase
unemployment by having to compete more people with each other. This banal argument totally
contradicts the logic of any anticapitalist movement, in which it is made clear that THE
TRULY GUILTY OF UNEMPLOYMENT AND EXPLOITATION ARE ENTREPRENEURS AND POLITICIANS . The
first to take advantage of the misery of Peruvians and migrants to choose to pay
increasingly inhuman wages and the latter to increasingly weaken labor rights, giving more
tools to exploiters. It is not necessary to remember that capitalist exploitation is a
world phenomenon, and so THE WORKERS OF ALL NATIONALITIES MUST JOIN AGAINST THE EXPLORERS.
Before the patrioteiro speech of supposed defense of the territory against the migrant
"invasion", it is necessary to remember that THE BORDERS ARE A INVENTION OF THE BOURGEOUS
TO DIVIDE THE AND THE WORKERS. XENOPHOBUS SPEECH IS FUNCTIONAL TO CAPITALISM , because
nothing makes the explorer entrepreneur more cheerful than seeing the poor fighting each
other instead of united fighting against him.
It is also ironic that this trumpist speech[Donald Trump]has stilled between activists and
supposedly "anti-systemist" and "anti-capitalist" movements who seem to have forgotten
internationalism and class solidarity. At the height of incoherence, many exemplify the
migratory policies of capitalist and racist governments that repress their own people,
such as Chile de Piñera, the United States of Trump, and the future Brazil of Bolsonaro.
Regarding migrants in particular, because of their status as women who are foreigners in a
sexist and misogynist society such as here, they are in a SITUATION OF DOUBLE
VULNERABILITY. It shows that two Venezuelan women have been raped by police officers,
cases that remain unpunished. Likewise, since their arrival, Venezuelans have been
subjected to harassment and racist and macho stereotypes regarding their appearances, in
order to minimize cases of gender-based violence perpetrated against them. Venezuelans
were sexually harassed by the mass media and social networks, reproducing in them to a
greater degree the same prejudices as with Peru. In the same way, unfortunately, many
migrants are sexually exploited by mafias who strip them of their documents, knowing that
any crime against them will fall into impunity. Some are separated from their relatives,
from their daughters. Most of these women do not have state backing. SORORITY AND FEMINISM
GO HANDS ON WITH INTERNATIONALISM .
While the sectors that say they are concerned about the increase in population that could
lead to unemployment and poverty, it is curious that they call violence against migrants,
when these same groups have sustained an anti-rights discourse against ABORTION
DESCRIMINALIZATION and GENDER NAFO EDUCATION , measures that really would serve to
control the population without the need to exert violence against anyone.
To conclude, although we anarchists oppose oppressive institutions and governments, we do
see the recognition of the rights of vulnerable sectors of society, such as women, LGBTI
people, workers, indigenous people, peasants and migrants Therefore, we repudiate any
event of alleged protest against any policy that prohibits the State, the repressive
Police and the institutions, from exercising violence and discrimination against the migrants.
We will be alert against any hate speech that comes to unmask you.

The arrival of Venezuelan migrants has produced an archaic patriot and nationalist
sentiment in various sectors of Peruvian society, which is translated into xenophobia,
intolerance and racism against newcomers. An unacceptable speech between activists and
collectives who aspire to build a less violent society against the most vulnerable people.
For this reason, the anarchofeminists speak [on the International Day of the Immigrant,
celebrated on Friday, December 15]: ---- Migration is a completely normal phenomenon

During the past days of December, between Thursday 6 and Sunday 9, the XVI edition of the
Meeting of the Anarchist Book in Madrid was held, which was located in the space formerly
known as CSO La 13-14, currently renamed as Ateneu Libertario de Vallekas. ---- There are
already sixteen editions that managed to maintain continuity of this annual event, and
which has positioned itself as a reference point and confluence of the libertarian
movement, not only in Madrid but throughout the Spanish State. Varied activities such as
historical routes, collective lectures and debates, self-catering meals and supper,
publishers, bookstores and distributors showing their materials, radio interviews,
correspondence with prisoners ... nourish socio-political dynamics four intense days of
meetings between peers and discussion of libertarian thought. The exchange of experiences
and communication developed in an environment where one bets to understand reality in an
alternative way and from the practice of disobedience.
As a member of the libertarian movement I have been there these days to follow up on the
event, and bring this chronicle that can better bring them closer to the content of the
activities that have developed in this edition. As a previous point, which I think is
relevant and necessary to comment on, is the fact that the Anarchist Book Meeting was held
under the position of several collectives and the holding of several last-minute lectures
due to the management of past sexist attitudes and aggressions around the assembly of the
space where it was celebrated. This collective positioning is a touch of attention to the
libertarian movement as a whole that makes us rethink the revision of the spaces in which
we deal with these issues, and the need to reflect on attitudes when working with the
tools we develop, which we obviate, in the moment of putting our political principles into
practice. This preliminary mention is intended only to point out a reality under which the
event was developed, and to collaborate with the visibility of a position that had both
collective and political consequences.
Historic route past Villaverde in the Spanish Civil War.
On the morning of Thursday, December 6, the journeys were opened with a historic route by
the comrades of 'Contrahistoria', an activity that is becoming habitual every year to
begin the Meeting of the Anarchist Book. It was not important to get up early on a holiday
to be punctually at 10am at the Villaverde Bajo renfe station. More than a hundred people
walked for several hours on a route that if well began being urban treading asphalt,
continued to explore the paths of the Linear Park.
Between motorways and railways, we find that the marks of the Spanish Civil War were
threatened by the inevitable advance of the city in the fighting of November 1936, when
the fascist columns attacked Madrid, and the formation of defensive lines around the
Manzanares River. We also discovered some archaeological remains, such as an ancient
Carthusian settlement, cornered and forgotten on the banks of a city that makes history
invisible.
Lectures-debate on current discussion topics.
The cycle of lectures at this Anarchist Book Meeting began on Friday 7 in the early
afternoon with an anti-authoritarian view of the nineteenth-century romantic novel from
Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein', relating folk legend to the tales of terror and its
idealistic potential. This work collects a tradition of scientific experimentation
surpassing the repressive limits of the religions, and initiates in addition the romantic
imaginary of non-normative creatures in a society that rejects them. That same afternoon
the talk developed that probably resulted in one of the most interesting debates of the
weekend: the cracks in anarchism, or the failures in the management of the mental health
of the companions; a well-documented view since anti-psychiatry and that left us a
recommended reading 'We will get out of this',
On Sunday morning in the middle of the morning we were awakened to the rhythm of the
lecture "Applying the anarchy" that described the classic anarchist proposals approaching
our social present, generating a self-criticism for our organizations in the debate that
happened, to conclude on the need to apply the principles libertarians in small daily
breaches. After lunch, we were able to speak with two rural squatting experiences, the
people of Fraguas in the northern hills of Guadalajara, who have been squatting since
2013, currently weighing on them a future eviction, scandalous fines and prison sentences
for rehabilitate a village forced to be abandoned during the Franco regime. A similar case
is that of Sieso de Jaca, in the Aragonese Pyrenees, where twenty-five adults and nine
children live in community, at 13 years.
On the other hand, and as has been customary in recent editions, during the development of
the Encounter Radio Onda Expansiva, conducted interviews with different collectives,
publishers, distributors, bookstores and individuals who participated in this edition. In
addition, they will be in charge of recovering the audios of the lectures so that they are
available separately in the web dedicated to the radio coverage of the Meeting.
Publishers, distributors and letters to prisoners.
Obviously one of the most interesting points of this Meeting of the Anarchist Book lies in
the publishers and distributors that comes from many parts of the Spanish State, and even
some international. Then I will mention some of those that caught my attention, with which
I was able to speak and comment on the works that were most selling at this Meeting.
I begin with Ediciones Marginales, who fundamentally publish pamphlets or fanzines of
primitivist and anti-technological content, recently edited a new text that they are
presenting entitled: 'The Revolution in the postmodern society'.
La Neurosis and Las Barricadas published a selection of three branches of publications:
fanzines, a general collection of political and social books, and its collection of
elementary books, or small compilations of classic texts on anarchism.
The publisher Ediciones Inestables has visited us since Mexico DF leaving us some of his
examples on critical thinking, social art, and feminism, mainly a compilation of texts by
Yayo Herrero, or some classics by Emma Goldman. Rojava Azadi presented us one more year
the collections of books related to Kurdistan and the democratic confederacy that the
Rojava community is putting into practice in a social, ecological and women's revolution
that is having an important weight in the Middle East.
Libremanuals is a small distributor that brings us computer issues to the anarchist
movement, and aims to link free software to the libertarian world. And in relation to this
point, also highlighted the presence of the distributor Anarquismo en PDF, a library of
the entire libertarian movement on the internet, and also distributed on paper.
Of course, two classic publishers of anarchism, one of them the Anselmo Lorenzo
Foundation, and the other Fundación Salvador Seguí could not miss. The interesting books
of the memory of anarcho-syndicalism and the libertarian movement in the Spanish state are
a good treasure to find the communitarian roots in our territories. To prove who has
preceded us in the struggle always offers us an unrenounceable perspective.
The Surrealist Group of Madrid, once again accompanied this Meeting to bring us proposals
linked to Situationism and Surrealism as a way to imagine other possible revolutions.
Specifically, a recent book entitled 'Thinking, experiencing exteriority', a collective
volume that collects the lectures they held at the Traficantes de Sueños bookstore in
November 2017, followed closely.
From the neighboring province of Guadalajara, our comrades from Volapük arrived, who
rescue us from the themes and authors connected with the current social movements, which
are far from official or academic interest. In the same line of finding radical and
sincere social criticism, there are editions Pepitas de Calabaza, which since Logroño has
been offering us interesting questions of current political debate in the heart of social
anarchism.
Against All Nocividad showed us his simple auto editions at free price, just as for
example, Sons of Proudhon next to Ediciones Irrecuperables had a selection of books on
critical counterpsychology. Finally, the presence of publishers from Euskal Herria, who
also had anti-military support for prisoners and prisoners, as well as T-shirts in
solidarity with Altsasu. ZAP Ateneo from Gasteiz, DDT Editions from Bilbo and Subetz
Banaketak from Iruñea.
In general, the publishers commented that the works most sold or sought in this meeting
were those related to feminism, specifically about prostitution, animalism and ecologism.
Works of current social movements, as well as the antifascist theme. Also a special
mention to books of poetry and critical art, which are always valued enough to make an
immersion in the critical culture of freedom.
In addition to the two complete plants where we could find these and more publishers and
distributors, there was a space of letters to prisoners both from the Spanish State and
from other countries of the world. You could freely take a sheet, pen and envelope to give
a few words to some prisoner or prisoner, knowing that it is fundamental that they feel
support from outside and from anywhere. After noting the addresses of the address books of
dozens of prisoners, they could place the letters in a mailbox of the Meeting, which later
takes charge of sending the letters to their recipients.
I hope that this chronicle helps to rethink, empower and spread the libertarian thought,
and that future editions of the Anarchist Book Meeting keep the correct answers and work
hard on the failures committed, because this is the way of libertarian ideals. See you on
the streets.

In Alternative libertaire of November 2018, Véronique Decker (Icem-Freinet activist)
questioned the difference between Freinet pedagogy and radical pedagogies inspired by
Paulo Freire. There is no antagonism between the two approaches that are different, but
complementary. Radical pedagogies reflect on social discrimination and inequality and
fight against the neoliberal recovery of emancipatory pedagogies. ---- "The Courier of a
Reader: Freinet and Radical Pedagogies " , November 2018 ---- Moreover, Freinet activists
are members of the Radical Pedagogies network. The Instituto Bell Hooks / Paulo Freire
proposed to Icem-Freinet to coorganize the next Paulo Freire World Forum to be held in
Paris in 2020, on the theme: " Education, Gender and Immigration ".
Véronique Decker also wonders about the practices of the network. It's not only about
creating websites to pool resources, but also about creating think tanks and sharing
practices. Academics are also practitioners to the extent that they teach students.
Radical Pedagogies is made up of practitioners from all sectors and levels.

Yes, of course, fascism comes from capitalism in crisis, in its neoliberal avatar. And yes
fascism is real, present, actual. If Ugo Palheta confirms this warning and this
observation, he formulates above all very useful updates of the concept of fascism and its
mechanisms, where too many myths, shortcuts and simplifications prevent us from
understanding the new forms of the extreme right, and of to defend it. ---- The irruption
of racism as a standardized variable ---- With a strong Marxist style (Bensaïd trend) the
analysis is dense, documented and fluid at the same time, always interesting, useful. ----
Useful to avoid the double pitfall of the " rubbery " extension of the term of fascism
to all forms of authoritarian government, and its reduction to a nebula of " populisms
", a vague concept, making people feel guilty and of dubious efficiency. The author
affirms the "complexity and autonomy" of fascism which he proposes some redefinitions
including that of a " mass movement that claims to work for the regeneration of an
imaginary community[...]organic[...]by the ethno purification -racial (or cultural)[...]by
the recess of everything that seems to jeopardize its unity " . Acting through violence,
repression and terror " systematic " , fascism relies on a " support "
multiclassist and not only proletariat or high bourgeoisie.
As for its conditions of emergence, Ugo Palheta resumes with finesse the history of the
endless crisis of capitalism, its exhaustion, the irruption of racism as a normalized
variable of political discourse, the degradation of living conditions, the growing
repression. A crisis that could structurally last forever without fascism emerging as a
possibility. It is to a loss of hegemony of capitalism that we must attribute the rise of
fascism, visible in the current stage of a " bourgeois bloc ", prepared by twenty
years of ideology of an extreme neoliberal center and macroniste in full, but also enemy
of the popular classes, Islamophobe today as we were antisemitic yesterday, nationalist
... The former FN is a perfect vehicle " in gestation ", to the composition of a
neofascism. Undaunted by the electoral setbacks, his theses are now widely shared and the
broad base proposed by LREM can still feed its foundation. What are the mechanisms at work
leading to a truly fascist authoritarian state, through which the " racist offensive "
is expressed to prepare the ground for it ? The book provides answers and useful ways to
resist in ideas and concrete action.

The ignominy of the Valley of the Fallen must disappear ---- The CNT calls on all trade
union, social and political organizations to participate in a march to the Valley of the
Fallen on Saturday, April 20, 2019. ---- In 2019 they complete 60 years of its
construction. A monument that is a place of fascist pilgrimage and cult to the Francoist
side. ---- The Valley of the Fallen was built between 1940 and 1958 during the Franco
regime as a tribute to those killed in the Franco war and exaltation to the Regime. A
monument that was built by anti-Franco prisoners. In it are buried 33,833 bodies of both
sides, although we know that the official cipher is small. ---- José Antonio Primo de
Rivera, founder of the Falange, a fascist organization responsible for systematic
repression against people belonging to trade union organizations, left-wing parties and
their families, an expanded repression of the rebel troops and their collaborators , civil
and ecclesiastical. And Francisco Franco, military coup, supreme leader of the uprising
and dictator during four eternal decades.
It is inconceivable that in a country that calls itself democratic, it is still allowed to
worship those who have wiped out the rights and freedoms achieved by years of struggle.
Even more inconceivable is that it is negotiating with the dictator's family to transfer
his remains to the convenience of this family that has amassed his fortune thanks to the
spoils and robbery during more than 40 years of dictatorship and that continues enjoying
benefits and privileges unimaginable in a civilized place We propose the solution taken by
Germany in the case of other recognized fascists, throw their ashes somewhere unknown.
And the Church, a necessary collaborator, according to the UN, in the extermination
carried out by the Regime, makes clear who it is, with its invitation to serve as burial
place of the dictator in the Cathedral of the Almudena. It was to be expected.
The Valley of the Fallen represents the ignominy for people who died fighting against
fascism or were murdered during the war and dictatorship. A war that had terrible
consequences for the civilian population. More than 500,000 deaths between civilian
victims and combatants, 450,000 people forced into exile, and thousands of them were
deported to concentration camps and extermination camps under Nazi Germany, hundreds of
thousands of repressed during Franco's , Now the world's second-largest force for forced
disappearances), women were shaved and raped, thousands of babies stolen from their
mothers, a practice that continued in the period of democracy, and so many other forms of
humiliation and destruction of the vanquished.
All these victims, women, men, girls and boys, have names and surnames and deserve to be
remembered. Their families deserve to be listened to and have a decent place to cry to
their families. And their executioners must be judged and condemned to the place of
history they deserve and out of a place where their memory and their crimes are exalted.
For all this, the National Confederation of Labor demands:
- The withdrawal of the bodies of José Antonio Primo de Rivera and Francisco Franco
Bahamonde.
- The expulsion, with previous audit of accounts and assets, of the Benedictine monks.
And let the state stop financing them, there and elsewhere.
- The transformation of the Valley into a place of memory and memory of the victims of
Francoism, where all Franco symbology disappears, and above all, the cross.
- Recover the true term by which this natural environment is known, "Cuelgamuros".
- A public condemnation and with consequences on the part of the Spanish State and all
the institutions and organizations that are part of the same, the coup d'etat of 1936 and
the pro-Franco regime.
- The surrender to the State, and to the people in general, of the documentation about
the people buried in the Valley, currently in the possession of the abbot of the
monastery, who treats it as personal and ideological.
- That the remains of the victims are exhumed, even after their death, were treated as
defeated and buried with their executioner.
- That the exhumation be made by carrying out DNA tests for the later judicialization of
the murders.
- The derogation from the amnesty law of 1977.
- That this process be accompanied by UN experts on genocide and enforced disappearances.
After more than forty years of pretended democracy and political neglect, historical
memory laws made to order, and honors to allowed and often encouraged franquists from
state institutions, it is time to work all the organizations together in order to convert
the mausoleum Franco in a place of memory of all the victims of the Francoist genocide.
The battle of memory against oblivion is fundamental among all who are leading in favor of
rights and freedoms. It is up to us whether the Franco regime wins or loses this battle.
Our family members, and for the CNT all the comrades and companions who are killed and
reprisal are, as we defend before the UN, deserve and must be remembered. To rehabilitate
our past is also to dignify its struggle and ours.
Let us be worthy heirs of your ideas and demands, let us shout loud and clear: for as long
as 80 years have passed since the end of the war, fascism will not pass! We will pass!
Memory, Dignity and Struggle!
