Give power and dignity this holiday season

Dear friends –
All Out members have already contributed 60% of the way to our goal! With your help, LGBT+ refugees in Eastern Africa will be able to turn their business plans into a reality.
My organisation, the Refugee Coalition of Eastern Africa (RefCEA), has collected promising business proposals from four groups of LGBT+ refugees. Together with All Out, we've launched Grassroots Empowerment, where people like you can donate to give these businesses the jumpstart they need to take flight.
Businesses like a poultry farm, proposed by three transgender refugees who fled Uganda to a neighboring country when their lives were threatened because they're trans. Now resettled, they still have no safe or reliable way to work.
With your help, this could change. According to Christina*, one of the potential farmers, "As a transgender refugee, working with my fellow transgender refugees is our only option for self-reliance."
This poultry farm is their way out of the transphobic and violent system that keeps them in poverty. Now, they just need your help to make this business plan a reality.

Many LGBT+ refugees in the region are forced to make a living in dangerous or illegal ways, like sex work. Transgender refugees are especially vulnerable. On top of that, it can take many years of waiting in impoverished and homophobic refugee camps or unwelcoming cities for safer resettlement.
But Christina and her friends have their own plans for reclaiming their power.
She and her friends all have experience raising chickens. They know how to take care of the birds and keep them healthy until they're ready to be sold. They even have a plot of land where a chicken coop big enough for 400 chickens could go.
They have the skills and experience to launch this business, which would completely transform their lives. But they don't have the funds to buy birds, feed, and other supplies they need to get started.
Thanks for going All Out,
Jacob
