This coyote pack cried while their brothers were shot

They Had to Listen to the Dying Cries of Two Wild Coyotes. It Didn't Have to Be This Way!

Best friends,
Last month, Sheila and her son became unsuspecting witnesses to something terrible. One night, without warning, they discovered that a neighbor had trapped a wild coyote near their homes in Minnesota. Then, the neighbor shot the animal. Thirty minutes later, she shot another one.
Sheila and her son listened in horror to the final, dying cries of these animals, while their pack cried and whined for them. Sign the petition to demand that lawmakers in Minnesota protect these precious creatures!
For Sheila, hearing her neighbor murder these defenseless animals was one of the worst, most haunting sounds she had ever heard in her entire life. She called the police, but they dismissed her, replying, "She has the right to protect her livestock."
Because here's the thing: Sheila's neighbor didn't actually need to shoot these coyotes to protect her animals. Sure, she has horses that she keeps outdoors, but she'd already set up electrified fences to surround her livestock and keep them safe. What's more is that Sheila has raised chickens, turkeys, ducks, and even her own children in the area, and she has never had a reason to harm a coyote. This was clearly a senseless killing of two creatures that did not need to die. And the government needs to recognize this!
Thank you for all that you do,

P.S. Sheila's neighbor didn't need to trap and shoot two innocent coyotes, but she did. Now Sheila and her son will be forever haunted by the sounds of these animals dying. Sign the petition to tell Minnesota lawmakers to protect coyotes!
