We have not got the numbers to make STC effective and were over optimistic about a daytime
weekday action. Smaller numbers could leave us open to arrest so we have cancelled it.
We are now going to concentrate on REES-MOGG at the London Palladium where we have much
more chance of effective action

At the beginning of July 2018, everything seemed to be going well for Macron, in
Jupiterian form. After a standoff, he had just undergone a strong strike movement at the
SNCF and the Universities, with the bonus of a world cup in the key. A bright future
seemed promised to the golden boy of finance. ---- Yet today, Emmanuel Macron, weakened by
the Benalla affair, seems charred. His presidency exploded in flight, largely thanks to
the movement of the Yellow Vests. This social movement, born November 17, 2017, has so far
managed to defeat the government, and to pose a very strong renewal of the social
question, of the class struggle, but also of the modalities of actions that take the
struggles in France.
This movement also recalled that when the established order feels threatened, it shows the
teeth and that cops and magistrates are his guard dogs. An unprecedented (recent)
crackdown on the Yellow Vests: heavy penalties, mass arrests, and mutilations at random in
the crowd with flashballs and grenades.
On the other hand, the movement has been able to question the established order at a high
speed: gasoline taxes, social demands, social demands to the RIC (citizens' initiative
referendum) and for some of the RIC to the revolution. What to think of these
revolutionary aspirations to direct democracy? Can they be limited to the RIC or do they
not rather pose the global question of popular control of the economy and of everyday life?
Moreover, as we have seen, women have played a leading role in the movement, including the
Women's March. How to think their implications? What are the demands for women in Yellow
Vests?
We would like to discuss all these questions with you on Thursday, February 7 at 19:15 at
the Gerbe, 19 Rue Chaptal in Montpellier.

After three months of revolt of the yellow vests, the call to strike for February 5 should
be an opportunity to weave more solidarity between yellow vests and Vests red, pink, green
or other, and increase the pressure on Macron and the bosses for our demands for social
justice, equality and democracy. ---- For 35 years and the liberal turn of the first
Mitterrand government, it is the same anti-social and liberal policies that are applied by
the right as by the left. Like Macron, Le Pen claims neither right nor left, seductive
formula but false: he and she are both right ! Both are against the increase of the SMIC !
Precarious jobs, part-time work, delirious hours, uberisation, self-exploitation are the
lot of those who work hard but who remain poor. Suffice it to add to this the destruction
of public services and the tax giveaways made to the richest so that social anger will
burn out !
Generally, it is the wrestling unions that organize the fight. But weakened by a
succession of failures, they struggle to mobilize in companies where collaborative unions
are gaining ground. Result: unprecedented social revolt moved out of the business, and
arose on the roundabouts.
Taxes and social contributions
By mingling with the yellow vests at the beginning, the little bosses tried to mix the
question of taxes with the question of social contributions. It must be clear on this: it
has nothing to do.
Social security contributions are a part of our salary pooled to protect employees from
the vagaries of life: sickness, unemployment, old age ... The more our salaries increase,
the more contributions fi nance our social protections. So do not touch the social
contributions, on the contrary !
As for taxes, we need them to fi nance schools, roads, hospitals ... The real problem is
their unfair distribution: the bosses, even the little ones, are the first to cheat by
playing with VAT and concealing recipes. For the biggest, it is massive tax fraud and tax
havens. As for the VAT on consumer goods, which relates to the state, it is also the most
unfair tax because, rich or poor, we pay exactly the same tax for the purchase of a rod.
Even the homeless pay this tax !
Repression: capitalists tremble
Police violence is at the height of the fear of bosses and annuitants. While inequalities
between workers and capitalists have never been greater, the rich will fight tooth and
nail to intensify exploitation, demolish public services, and open up markets to private
interests, including schools. and health. This is why we must strengthen the mobilization
to disarm the fl ics, to refuse the new law " anti-breakers " and to obtain a general
amnesty for the demonstrators condemned.
But the best defense is the attack. This is why, from February 5, we must combine all
energies, beyond the differences, to block the country and bend Macron. Strike and
blocking are complementary as the color of our vests because, whatever their color on
roundabouts or in companies, they are on the shoulders of workers and workers revolted !

After twelve weeks of struggle, blockages, demonstrations, partial strikes, solidarity
actions, the popular dynamics of yellow vests have allowed a broad awareness and at the
heart of all these reflections has emerged a strong demand for social justice. ---- This
legitimate aspiration has so far been suppressed by the state, which, with its media lies
and repression forces, always returns us to the same world: that of arrogant capitalism
and its politicians, an old world that, to perpetuate The inequalities and injustices of
capitalism are attacking our freedom. ---- Because the movement of yellow vests brings
together all the oppressed who fight against social injustice, we support the call for the
renewable general strike of 5 February.
It's a moment that will be rich in potential. Employees, craftsmen, workers of all
categories, young people and pensioners, those who are crushed by the yoke of great
employers and finance and those who have experienced the experience of lbd40 and gases,
those who have seen their colleague debt, dismissed, Suicide, their company restructured,
relocated, their bankrupt operation, those who saw their protest buddy beaten, beaten,
imprisoned or mutilated, all of them will be together.
All of us instinctively know that what is going to happen in these days will be a turning
point, it will be a stop to all this social and state violence that we have suffered for
As a result, we call for mobilization on Monday, 4 February, peacefully and wherever
possible, under the sign of rallying the yellow vest, and to start assemblies in
companies, in high schools, universities , to form massive box-box delegations, to resume
the round points, to inform the population as widely as possible.
From 5 February, for justice for freedom, for our children, because we want to live, all
together, all on strike, all on the street.

Approved: 1ainfosca99

On Tuesday, February 5, in France, a general strike organized by trade unions will take
place: CGT (Universal Confederation of Labor), Union Syndicale Solidaires (Solidarity
Trade Union) and CNT-SO (National Confederation of Labor - Workers' Solidarity).
Responding to the appeal of the organizers and organizers of the strike, the Warsaw
committees of the Workers' Initiative at 18:00 organize a picket picket at the Embassy of
the French Republic in Warsaw (Piekna 1 street). On the one hand, the pontificate is to
support the French general strike, as well as to remind about the ongoing labor conflicts
in Poland: in the aviation industry, in the judiciary, education and social assistance.
[see event on Facebook] ---- The strike in France is organized as a gesture of support for
mass demonstrations of "yellow vests" that have been taking place all over the country
since November 2018. Their immediate cause was the announcement of a rise in excise tax on
fuels, but the "vests" also protest against the growing social inequalities, low wages,
further social cuts and plans for the privatization of public services. Their anger is
directed against the neoliberal policy pursued by all subsequent French governments for 35
years (when the first government of François Mitterrand made a "liberal shift" and
abandoned the implementation of the leftist program). Employees and employees are losing
out on this policy, and only the richest - capitalists and state elites - gain.
Colleagues from Solidaires thus summarize the current situation in France: "This right
anger of the Yellow Vest is an expression of the fact that the most prismatic social
classes are warmly fed up with their position." The poorest and most uncertainty of the
future have revolted who do not obey more obediently and in the silence live your misery."
The trade unions declared their support for the movement of the "yellow vests" also to
oppose attempts by the extreme right, nationalists and fascists to take it over. Since the
outbreak of protests, right-wing organizations have tried to use public dissatisfaction to
spread anti-Semitic or anti-immigrant slogans. In a call to a strike published by
Solidaires, we read: "We are calling for this social movement while maintaining our
identity, anti-racism and international solidarity with migrants and migrants[...]we can
not allow the right to take possession of Yellow Vests and their protests, rhetoric and
discourse around them. "
Why should we appear as much as possible on the French embassy on Tuesday? First of all,
to show trade union solidarity - many times during strikes and protests organized in
Poland, we received help from colleagues from France (Solidaires supported the Employee
Initiative during the conflict in the Aelia Duty Free / Lagardere stores in 2014 or during
the strike in Krowarzywa restaurant in 2016). Now is the moment when we were appealed to
us for organizing solidarity actions.
The second reason is the similarity of the situation of employees and employees in Poland
and France - we are also struggling with low wages and junk employment; we are also
threatened by further projects of "liberalization of the Labor Code"; in Poland, income
inequalities also grow. And just like in France - although not on such a scale - there is
also a growing resistance in Poland: a recently completed strike at LOT Polish Airlines,
ongoing protests by female employees and court staff and social welfare, upcoming teachers
and teachers strikes. What's more, in Poland the extreme right is also trying to exploit
public dissatisfaction and directing it towards xenophobic and racist slogans - against
refugees, immigrants and immigrants instead of against bosses.
Let's meet on Tuesday at the Embassy of France to show our solidarity and support for
social protests - both with French workers and employees, as well as with colleagues in
Poland.
Today Paris - tomorrow Warsaw!

SOLIDARITY WITH MUNDO NUEVO -- which is an open field of fermentation and development of
anarchist ideas and an integral part of social and class resistances ---- Once again, the
occupation of Mundo Nuevo in Thessaloniki is in the face of state repression and is
threatened with evacuation, following the recent agreement of the owner of the building
(Municipality of Thermi) to give the space to OKANA to become a secondary school for drug
addicts. ---- Last fall, the Security Protection Department of Thessaloniki called 16
people in a preliminary investigation of the domestic peace and occupation offenses of the
Mundo Nuevo occupation building, which, following their referral to trial and conduct she
was acquitted. This time the SYRIZA government in the framework of rational repression
attempts to exploit vulnerable social groups and social awareness for them to attack
anarchist militants and self-organized combat venues in cooperation with OKANA. A
state-run organization with a government-mandated administration, whose direction is in
the hands of V. Kafetzopoulos (directly associated with SYRIZA), while EL's officers are
also involved.
The threatened evacuation of the occupation of Mundo Nuevo as part of the widespread
repressive planning comes to add to a multitude of paratroopers and fascist attacks in
occupied and self-organized combat venues across Greece, with a prime example of the arson
of Libertatia a year ago. Attacks that are behind the state-run enterprise of mobilizing
nationalist and fascist emigration on the occasion of the "Macedonian" for spreading
intolerance and racist hatred in society. This repressive struggle against the occupation
of Mundo Nuevo is another manifestation of the coordinated attack on sovereignty aimed at
decommissioning social and class resistance, and all those who resist state and capitalist
barbarism.
State and capital try either to gain the social consensus through integration policies and
the commission, or to subdue every voice articulated against their aggressive designs
through the suppression of social and class struggles. The political power administrators,
on the one hand, try to create conditions of social peace and class co-operation and, on
the other hand, to shape the conditions of the wild state oppression against the stratums
and those struggling against exploitation and subordination. In this context, strikers are
arrested, criminalized base-party action, criminals' action is being criminalized, beaten
students, anarchist blocks are being attacked, tortured fighters,
And this is because occupations are structures of the social and class struggle against
poverty, poverty, social cannibalism imposed on us by the above and at the same time
reflecting the vision of the liberated society by working horizontally and anti-ideally on
the basis of the principles of equality, solidarity, freedom and justice.

Private property is the sacred cow of neo-liberal ideology. Not ours. Download, print and
distribute the February issue of the A3 wall paper! ---- This year, the activity of the
Klinika Autonomous Social Center was terminated involuntarily in January, which for four
years successfully developed various activities in Prague's Žižkov. At the beginning,
there was a group of people who do not have, like most of us, the means to buy some real
estate. On the other hand, they had the desire to do something positive, and the others
would benefit. And doing it in a way that would allow people around you and everyone else
to get involved, come up with their own ideas, realize and develop a community. Of the
thousands of empty buildings that have long been dilapidated in Prague, they chose the
former pulmonary clinic. She also chose her name.
During their lifetime, countless people have enriched their own activities, organized
cultural and educational events, free luncheon and other courses. And whoever wanted, he
could just come to the café and give a volunteer post any offer.
The Clinic team has received sympathy for many people, mainly because of their openness,
zeal and courage to do things differently. He was admired for going against the
normalization stream that made many people adjustable puppets, who can not see where their
problems are, and they are satisfied with the vicarious targets of their frustration. It
is no wonder, therefore, that he has just taken a wave of hatred at the same time when he
started with the help of people who were in a desperate situation to escape from the
countries affected by the war. On the one hand, he received the František Kriegla Award
from the Charter 77 Foundation for civic bravery for 2016, on the other hand he was
addressed with threatening and vulgar reports and the building tried to ignite neo-Nazis.
The clinic has faced a mixed coalition, consisting precisely of neo-Nazis, politicians,
especially right-wing parties and top government officials, to otherwise unprivileged
supporters of the existing order and neo-liberal ideology. The clinic has therefore become
an ideological dispute, where the legitimacy and the inviolability of private property are
one, and others argue with legitimacy and respect for the needs of people, communities,
cities and society.
As anarchists and anarchists, we stand unambiguously in the second camp. We have no reason
to naively say that the capitalist order, to which everything is subject, is something
sacred and inviolable. Likewise, we stood against the system of state capitalism that the
Bolsheviks had set up.
Neoliberal ideology is bent with freedom. But it is primarily about the freedom of the
narrow elite to collect privileges and economic power. This creates, from most of the
society, an unprivileged mass, which is also a source of profit, like natural resources.
Capitalism is governed by the low cost rule and maximizing profits. It is no wonder he
leaves behind a glimpse of climate crisis, wars, working poverty, indebtedness and
homelessness. In order to conceal the nature of the problem, ie social injustice and
unequal conditions, it hurts people into the heads that their own destiny can only be
theirs and that they must do more. As if people going to work and still in brigades to pay
for rent and basic needs, they did little. And so far, the top managers have earned the
first three days a year what a person with an average pay per year.
It is necessary to distinguish the personal property that a person needs for his / her
life and which he uses normally or recreationally, and a private one that does not belong
to such a category. Separate chapters are then lean private ownership, such as empty
houses. It is quite legitimate to use them for their original purpose, ie housing or
community activities. But according to the capitalist order and its laws, it is illegal.
In practice, it looks like, even if the houses are empty, homeless people are dead on the
street. According to the supporters of lawlessness, it must be so. Recall that the
Nuremberg laws gave the legal basis for the genocide of the Jews. Legitimate followers
would certainly not attack them.
Similarly, it is with the inviolability of private ownership. Although we find slavery
today as barbaric, at that time it was defended on exactly the same principle. And if we
want to go all the way, we can see an unfriendly future ahead of us. Imagine that one
corporation eventually purchases all houses, land, resources, patents, etc., that is, the
entire planet. According to those who claim that everyone can at will to do with their
private property what they want, such a corporation can legitimately be allowed to shoot
in space.
Neoliberal ideology is of benefit to those who hold economic power. We oppose solidarity
with our socialism. Against the whims and the benefit of a handful of owners, we build the
benefit of every individual and society as a whole.

In an unprecedented cold front that started Tuesday night and continued through Wednesday,
January 30th, extreme temperatures in the negative teens with a real feel effect of
negative 40's, most of Chicago was hunkered down inside. And for good reason-at these
temperatures someone can get frostbite after being outside for only 10 minutes. ----
Chicago anarchists took to the streets and started organizing immediately to ensure that
folks who didn't have permanent shelter could at least get a ride to one of the warming
shelters set up around the city overnight. With funds raised through a paypal pool raising
over $6,000 in five days, supplies were distributed across the city, from Roger's Park to
Hyde Park and in between. Clearing many stores out of emergency blankets, and hand
warmers, organizers passed out the items along with propane-powered indoor heaters, food,
water, and hot beverages to the folks who were most susceptible to the freezing temperatures.
Street Team Response
Several teams sprung up and mobilized quickly from a coalition of anarchist groups which
included Little Village Solidarity Network, Haymaker, Tenants United Hyde Park Woodlawn,
Blood Fruit Anarchist Library, Chicago Recovery Alliance, Lucy Parsons Labs, Four Red
Stars, Chicago General Defense Committee, Incarcerated Workers Organizing Committee, and
Chicago Black Rose/Rosa Negra Anarchist Federation, among others. Raising funds from
family, friends, and allies, they were able to immediately put together a plan to track
temporary warming shelters and open spaces that were available like Haymaker gym.
Teams fanned out to purchase supplies and deliver them to whichever neighborhoods they
knew best, giving rides to shelter where needed and checking in on people in encampments
who were less mobile or didn't want to leave. While hitting the streets other individuals
were encountered who had the same idea, and some independent groups like ChiRides. As
well, a warming school bus was making rounds and giving rides. Trinity Lutheran Church in
Bridgeport was passing out socks that the teams were able to take with them, and shelters
like Flood's Hall in Hyde Park were looking for help with the early morning shifts, being
especially busy at night. Provided by Chicago Recovery Alliance, narcan was available and
distributed to whoever was in need.
The city has a long history of criminalizing homelessness and prioritizing the needs of
developers and landlords over tenants and people without housing, while hundreds of houses
sit empty or foreclosed across Chicago. Though we don't depend on the City of Chicago to
come through in times like this, we used whatever tools we had to keep people safe
tonight. A lot of the warming shelters that would be open during the day on Wednesday
weren't open at night, but the trains that were running 24/7 weren't charging readmission.
Passing out single ride ventra cards downtown and elsewhere has already kept a lot of
people out of the cold, and then we have teams going in and out of train cards offering
food and supplies through the night and all day today.
We're not here to be thanked or anything, but mutual aid and direct action are what's
going to save us from capitalism and that's something that doesn't just come about when
you need it-it's something that requires organizing now and practicing community care all
the time.
Ongoing Efforts
With the funds that kept flooding in, organizing are hoping to expand hot food
distribution, and continue passing out supplies such as hand warmers and ventra single
rides. Dehydration and lack of food will become more pressing the longer the extreme cold
continues. Those items will be important to continue bringing to shelters. McDonald's and
other 24/7 restaurant gift cards are great for a free meal and the opportunity to spend
some time indoors, since a lot of places make people they identify as homeless spend money
there in order to stay. Of course, giving cash directly to people allows them to choose
where to eat or stay warm.
In a similar vein for helping folks help themselves, some teams bought and distributed
snow shovels for those who want to earn their own money shoveling. Shelters are collecting
gloves and hats, blankets, coats, etc. Important if more expensive items include sub-zero
rated sleeping bags, tents, waterproof tarps, and phone cards. Even as the temperatures
eventually travel back towards positive numbers, it'll be good to have information and
preparations for the next plunge. This is certainly not going to be the last cold day in
Chicago, and since capitalism-caused global warming has exacerbated this extreme cold and
fluctuation in climate, it's going to become more and more vital that we find solutions
for sustainable long-term survival collectively.
Another useful tip- Free rides to warming centers are available with Lyft through Friday,
February 1 at 11:59pm. Use the code CHIJAYDEN19 (named for Winter Storm Jayden) to redeem
two rides at up to $25 each to city-designated warming centers.
In addition to the warming shelters that the City of Chicago listed (marked here with
google maps), other organizations that were staying open include:
Trinity Church on 94th
The Night Ministry's The Crib (for young people)
The Sikh Temple on Devon
Aeslin Pup Hub, 1904 N Milwaukee (for people with pets)
Above Zero Soup Kitchen, 2242 S Damen
Flood's Hall on 52nd Place in Hyde Park, 3rd floor (not 24/7)

After months of clashes, "Act 12" of the main Gilet Jaunes (yellow vest) marches today is
setting itself squarely against police and fascist violence - and calls are growing for a
general strike. ---- A fascist attack launched against a procession at Act 11 by
anti-capitalist party NPA last Saturday shook the left sections of the yellow vests.
Several groups have since pledged to join together to avoid leaving a procession of people
not ready to repel this kind of attack. ---- Much of the dynamic however is expected to
focus tomorrow around a callout of solidarity towards the families of victims of police
crimes. Several groups of Yellow Vests from Paris (Rungis, Montreuil, Belleville) are
joining this initiative, which comes as the government beefs up police powers once again
and actively tries to ban "troublemakers" from participating - alongside fines of 15,000
Euros for covering your face.
Organisers of the rally said in a statement:
Since the beginning of the Yellow Vests movement, every Saturday we have witnessed a surge
of violence throughout the country. The Macron government and its interior minister
Castaner are entirely responsible for this situation.
Obstruction of the freedom to demonstrate, women and men mutilated for life.
Zineb Redouane, 80, was seriously injured in the face by a tear gas grenade thrown by
police in her apartment, during a demonstration of Gilets Jaunes in Marseille. She died
Sunday, December 2 at the hospital. Nearly 2,000 have been injured since the beginning of
the movement, including 100 seriously wounded. Mutilated, éborgnés, hands torn off, as a
consequence of this repression.
Our solidarity is with the victims, their families, lives ruined for demonstrating for
their dignity.
We must remember that all this violence is part of a historical continuity, for 40 years
in the banlieus we've counted the deaths of hundreds of young people, mutilated in the
general indifference of the rest of society. All weapons used against the movement of
Yellow Vests are massively used daily in our neighborhoods.
We must demand Truth and Justice for all the victims of the police and the gendarmerie
without distinction.
The march is demanding, among other things prohibition of fatal immobilisation techniques,
flashballs, LBD and GLI 4, the dissolution of the hated Brigade Anti-Criminalite and a
general protester amnesty.
It comes just days before a major trade union mobilisation called by the CGT, with a
24-hour energy sector strike nominally calling for wage and pensions improvements but
aligned to the Gilet Jaunes timetable. It's the second such strike in two months, with a
48-hour walkout having happened in December.
February 5th has quickly turned into an appeal for a general strike however, and for the
last several weeks in different occupied public spaces and assemblies, yellow vests and
unions have been meeting and asking major power plant branches to widen the callout.
Paris-Lutte explained: "Trade unions are not very well represented among many yellow
vests, temporary workers, fixed-term workers, unemployed workers and employees in small
units. The street protests allowed a lot of people to finally participate in a social
movement. However, for many private and public service employees, the mobilisation
capacities of the unions remain effective. A strike that goes beyond the key areas of
labor mobilisation could be really powerful."
