Sign Now Dear friends, Giza Zoo has been described by Egyptian Streets magazine as the "worst zoo in the world" and a "zoo of horrors". We need to act quickly to get this zoo closed and animals rushed to safety. TripAdvisor reviews describe dirty, tiny cages and unhappy, sick animals. Photographs show lion cubs being held by visitors, and animals being poked with sticks. This place has to be shut down. Care2 member Keryn visited Giza Zoo herself, and was so horrified by what she saw that she wrote a Care2 petition to Egypt's Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Mona Mehrez, to urge her to shut down the zoo. Sign Keryn's petition now.
