North East Anarchist Group was formed in August of this very year (2018) because no other
anarchist organisation existed at that time. As the year comes to a close and the
capitalist money making holiday of Christmas soon approaches we've took it upon ourselves
to not only reflect on what we've done this year but to also plan for next year. ---- A
moment of reflection... ---- As a organisation, we've only existed for 4 months. However,
in that time we've meet some amazing people and made connections with other anarchist
organisations worldwide. We've began building a strong foundation on which to build and we
can't wait to progress further in the struggle for liberation! ---- What do we plan to do
next year? ---- We need to start organising in the real world. From defending our
communities from the far-right to aiding in strikes, we aim to help the working-class in
the struggle for a better world.
In addition, we plan to help educate fellow workers about Anarchism, it's history and why
we think it's essential to our liberation. From the North East Anarchist commune in Forest
Hall to the social insurrection in Rojava, Northern Syria, we hope to cover it all!
We also have discussed setting up an anti-fascist self-defence club, starting a Food Not
Bombs project and tabling on the streets and talking to fellow workers (with a cup of free
Zapatista coffee) about Anarchism and how it relates to current events.
Ultimately, we aim to engage more directly with fellow workers and to start creating a
culture of resistance and begin the process of tearing down what destroys us and building
the new within the old. Many challenges will occur but the overcoming of such difficulties
will, in the end, make us better organisers, defenders and revolutionaries.
Here's a word from some of our members...
"I had discovered Anarchism and the revolutionary ideas that it involves, however, I was
lost. I couldn't find other like minded people so I began acting on my ideas and by
extension met people that were just like me! To make it easier for other anarchists and to
make Anarchism a force to be feared by the ruling-class, myself and another comrade of
mine founded North East Anarchist group."
"I joined North East Anarchist Group as a way to work with other people in our region to
increase class consciousness, solidarity and provide mutual aid to others and their struggles.
Globally, capitalism continues to ravage the environment and exploit working class people
and in the UK, this is nowhere more evident than in the North East, where we have
continually been let down by parliamentarism and bourgeoisie politics, and as a result,
have subsequently edged towards reaction. As we move to an uncertain future in the death
throes of capitalism, we need to provide viable, non-authoritarian and internationalist
alternatives to a system that will exploit and ignore the plight of our class more than
ever before. "
Solidarity to everyone fighting for a better world!

Today, the Poznan WTK reported that Waldemar Witkowski, Labor Union politician, goes to
the Euro-parliamentary elections shoulder to shoulder with Adrian Zandberg and Piotr
Ikonowicz. Witkowski - we can write it boldly - he is one of the most discredited
activists of the so-called Left. Representative of the post-communist nomenclature at its
worst. WTK reminded him that he did not stop the eviction of a seriously ill person from
the resources he managed a housing cooperative. When she pointed it out to FB (very
notably gentle) Anastazja Wieczorek-Molga from the Wielkopolska Tenant Association, gave
the activist to the court for defamation. He lost the case at first instance.
The eviction was avoided only thanks to the effort of the WSL and the help of the city.
Now Witkowski claims that he did not intend to kick anyone out of the apartment.
Apparently, the bailiff and locksmith were on the spot only by accident.
The above matter is not one that casts a shadow over this policy. Witkowski raised
suspicions in another matter several years ago. As he wrote 3 years ago, Glos Wielkopolska
and: Waldemar Witkowski borrowed - a trifle! - 5 million zlotys to the companies of the
"controversial businessman Krzysztof S." The ABW became interested in the matter, but the
investigation was discontinued, although Witkowski (according to the daily) never
recovered the money. What did not disturb him at all when dealing with his creditor. He
was meeting with him on the court. Like businessmen and good colleagues from scams.
We should not write about Witkowski more, although there would be something to it.
However, it is absolutely surprising and bizarre that such figures as Ikonowicz and
Zandberg stood at his side. For Together in Poznan, it is a nail to the coffin. Do you
realize who you are politically authenticated? Narcissus, buffoon and political parasite!

We are accustomed to anarchism - a purely Western phenomenon. Unrest, riots and rebellions
in the countries of the East are more associated with Islamists than with
anti-authoritarian ideas. All this gives rise to a number of stereotypes about the
inhabitants of the region. However, it turns out that anarchist groups even exist where
American bombs fall and are executed for Facebook posts. Anarchist group "Pramen"
(Belarus) interviewed the group "Union of anarchists of Iran and Afghanistan." We present
it to your attention. ---- - Your group is called the Union of Anarchists of Iran and
Afghanistan. What made you join forces precisely within the two countries? Geographical
proximity? Lack of language barrier? Transparent borders? Common story?
"Since anarchism leads a policy against borders and states, in the case of Iran and
Afghanistan it is important to remember that these are names of just two regions, and we
do not justify the existence of borders and states, but on the contrary, we want our
revolutionary demands to be universal and not were tied to a particular area. In general,
the main reason is that comrades communicate in one language and cooperate within the two
regions.
- In general, in Eastern Europe, we know little about Iran and Afghanistan. Public opinion
is shaped by mainstream media. The main narrative is about Iran: nuclear program,
sanctions and periodic riots. For Afghanistan: drug trafficking and war. But in reality we
know very little about how workers live there. Could you tell us a little more about the
socio-political realities?
- For Iran and Afghanistan, the anarchist movement is new, and is in the development
stage. Over the past few years, more and more young people have come to anarchism. Also,
although the feminist, anti-capitalist, labor, student movement, the movement for the
rights of children and for the rights of refugees, the environmental movement, and the
movement for the protection of animals have grown substantially - the anti-fascist
movement remains very weak. There is no widespread anarchist movement in Afghanistan, but
anarchism is growing there too. Religion and patriarchy are still a problem in
Afghanistan, although the same problems exist in Iran, because the Islamic Republic
considers its mission to spread oppression structures, but there is a part of society that
consciously opposes it. The Islamic Republic upholds reactionary Islamic traditions, but
there are people
- How did the anarchist movements emerge in Iran and Afghanistan, and what are their roots?
- The first anarchist publication in Farsi was made 42 years ago among the diaspora. In
1977, two years before the accession of the Islamic Republic to Iran, there were several
anarchist publications outside Iran that were spread over several years. But since they
were published only abroad, they did not exert any influence on the events in Iran. This
continued until the resumption of anarchist students at the university in 2007. After 9
years, we organized outside the country in order to publish our information on blogs, on
Facebook and other sources. Five years ago, three anarchist groups, one in Iran, one in
Afghanistan, and Asr Anarshism (Iranian and Afghan diaspora comrades) created the
Anarchist Union of Iran and Afghanistan. Soon after, anarchists from two more cities from
Iran joined us,
- Please tell us about your group. We are interested in your activity, plans,
organizational structure, and, of course, experience in overcoming repression.
"One of our campaigns concerns Soheil Arabi, an anarchist prisoner who was originally
sentenced to death for Facebook posts. He has been in prison since 2013, and he was first
sentenced to death, then to three years in 2014, after being revised for 2 years - in
2015. Soheyl should have been released a year ago, but he is still in prison and several
times went on a hunger strike, which indicates severe reprisals against him. The Union of
Anarchists of Iran and Afghanistan released a 5-part magazine called "The Suffering and
Memory of Anarchists in Iran", which contains serious lessons from our struggle. We also
have 44 pages in social networks.
Because of this, several of our fellow anarchists from the Union were imprisoned and
tortured for their activism and struggle. Naturally, our activity in Iran and Afghanistan
is not public, and therefore we cannot name everything that we do. But Iranian comrades
are active in all the liberation movements of Iran. And just like everyone else, when they
participate in demonstrations, they are persecuted, imprisoned and tortured. In most
cases, the regime does not know that they are anarchists.
- What is your relationship with other political parties and organizations?
- From an anarchist point of view, political parties are illegitimate, and any
hierarchical organization fighting for power is the enemy. But since the Islamic Republic
holds the power in a criminal way, we have one enemy - the Islamic Republic, and, thus, we
are not going against other opposition forces and parties.
- Have you ever heard about Belarus and the local political regime? What are your
associations about this?
- About 1/5 Belarusians are still exposed to the Chernobyl tragedy of 1986. Belarus has an
agreement with Ukraine on the exclusion zone. The strategic position of Belarus - to the
north of Ukraine and to the west from Russia, can be very important. Since the declaration
of independence from the USSR, Belarus has been a dictatorial regime for 25 years now. In
general, due to censorship in the media information about Belarus is not enough. But
analyzing the situation in Belarus, we can understand that there are many political
prisoners, there are even those who were imprisoned for photographs. The Belarusian
dictatorial regime is doomed to destruction, although it is supported by Russia.
Solidarity with comrades fighting in Belarus!
- Your region is represented in the media as a region of incessant ethnic and religious
conflicts. What is your position on Islam and Christianity? Do believers cut you off?
- The Middle East is not the only region suffering from ethnic, economic and religious
problems. But the abundance of oil forces states to pedal these differences. We are
against all religions, including Islam. At the moment, the most important tool for
resolving these problems will be to pay attention to the self-organization of our
communities, which we are doing intensively. One of the major problems for Iran and
Afghanistan is the dehydration of the territories. For 40 years, the Islamic Republic has
caused irreparable environmental damage to the country, and many of the lakes and rivers
have dried up. Only 1.8% of Iran is in its natural form and is not experiencing an
environmental crisis.
- Maybe you would like to add something?
- We would like to thank you for this interview. By the way, there is anarchist union in
nine more countries, except for Afghanistan and Iran. A comrade from Morocco works with us
and publishes articles in Arabic and Farsi on the Asr Anarshism website. We generally work
with all languages. We hope this interview will be the beginning of our joint activity.
(The comrades did not provide a photo of the participants of their organization for
security reasons).

March 8 was established in 1910 to honor the women's fights. The solemn establishment of
such a day attempts to unbundle every militant claim, any historical stock and collective
memory that can inspire and promote the struggle for female emancipation. A struggle that
sovereignty is constantly trying to put forward as a "demand for equality in the
administration of power". The attempt to incorporate the various movements and alter their
characteristics is a common practice of sovereignty to assimilate every effort of
resistance and reduce its radicalism. For us, March 8 is a day of resistance and struggle,
not a "feast" for the woman, which in fact is all about confirming and reproducing the
imposed gender roles. ---- Against patriarchy and every form of oppression imposed by the
system, we respond to intensified self-organized and counter-institutional action. We keep
the flame of the struggles of the past alive and we continue collectively and from the
bottom to the liberation struggles of the future. We learn and draw inspiration from
women's struggles all over the world, from the mountains of south-eastern Mexico and
Zapatista women who send this year a message to the women of the world announcing the
assault they accept globally as a revolutionary movement from the state and the capital,
our comrades on the other side of the Aegean that resist the fascist-patriarchal state of
Turkey,
We continue the struggle for women's emancipation, the struggle for the freedom of all.
Recognizing that freedom is neither granted nor granted, but is conquered through the
struggles of the exploited and the oppressed, we choose to organize and collectivize - as
women and as anarchists - and to fight together, with the workers, the unemployed, the
students, the students, the people of the WORLD, to join our voices and our action against
our daily dynasties all over the world, keeping alive the vision for a society of
equality, dignity, freedom and solidarity.
In 1911, the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory was one of the largest womenswear manufacturers
in New York City, and its owners who had set up the company in 1900 were haunted by the
brutal exploitation of their workers.
On Saturday afternoon, March 25, 1911, a fire broke out on the eighth floor of the
factory. Almost everything in the room was flammable, like textiles, papers and wooden
tables. The fire took uncontrollable dimensions and any attempt to extinguish it was
futile as the fire hoses did not run out of water.
Many employees based on company policy were locked in their workplaces to avoid being
unnecessarily removed and trapped behind the closed doors.

On Thursday, February 21, a panel discussion focused on the Czech and Slovak fanzines was
held in Hybernská Campaign in Prague. This event took place on the eve of an international
conference "Building the Scenes? Fan / zines in Central Eastern and Southern Eastern
Europe before and after the Fall of Berlin Wall ", which took place at the Faculty of
Arts, Charles University in Prague. Both the talks and the conferences were organized by
the Archive of Czech and Slovak Subcultures in cooperation with the Center for the Study
of Popular Culture and the Faculty of Philosophy of the Charles University. ---- The
Archives Project is a very interesting event, involving a group of academics with a
professional and personal interest in the phenomenon of zines. Its aim is to create a
digital archive of subcultural production that will serve as a tool for research and
teaching of the history of everyday life and independent cultural production in the Czech
Republic and Slovakia. Subculturality is here as one of the most important forms of social
identification, and the archive focuses mainly on collecting prints and interviewing
people with subcultures in the past or present.
The talk was about to begin at seven o'clock, but I had the opportunity to get together
with two other guests in the adjoining café. One of them was Petra, who has been releasing
Cerevitida from 2006 , the other Mišo, currently running the Muzika-Komunika blog . I was
then invited as a member of the Anarchist Federation Publishing House . We had enough time
to get to know each other, find out some of our acquaintances and talk about our
activities. I was most excited to hear Misho telling her how to use zinc work to work with
people with mental disabilities, who can present their literary and artwork in a stitch on
the knees .
The debate itself began with the necessary academic delay. Among the invited guests, Milan
has also been featured in the panel by an overview of metal underground publishing and
published by Spawn Rebirth . From the organizers of the Archive, Miro and Miloš added
themselves as moderators, as well as with their own memories and insights, which, among
other things, are behind a book about fanzines from various scenes called "I'm screaming,"
"It's me." As for the audience, panel. It is a great pity, since the debate was very
interesting, and if someone really enjoyed it, so both moderators were discussing - all of
them were aware that they were in their element.
First, everyone was remembering how and when the zines met. Interestingly, each story was
different. Some have encountered unofficial prints or their works at the end of the 1980s,
for example in the form of copier transcripts or Catholic samizdat. This was the question
why we chose this activity and who started it. It has turned out to be one of the
activities that came out of their more complex engagement in the scene, which could be
related to concerts, band playing, political activities, etc. All of them were also famous
for their passion for paper media, which has led to a debate about the zinc industry in
the emerging digital media. It has been agreed that the publications in their material
form have a much longer life, and one often likes to return to them. Funny was the turning
to the initial influences coming from mainstream prints, it also remembered the various
enthusiasts who had undeniable significance for the scene. Regarding the preparation of
publications and the DIY principle, the contribution of collective creation and
co-decision on the resulting work was also highlighted.
The moderators from the Archive then went on to collect and publish archives. We have not
solved the issue where the boundaries are, what to publish and what not, what data (such
as names and addresses) we did not provide, but we have come up with further questions.
For example, access to archives creates a privileged position when interpreting the
history of subculture and individual scenes. However, if they do not want to rely on
academic studies, they should map their own history. Eventually, there were also audience
queries. One concerned foreign influences on zinc creation. Often, Poland was mentioned,
where subcultures in this respect were probably quite well ahead, probably due to other
legislative conditions.
After the official end, the panelists received a small present from the AF Publishing
House - the last issue of Existence - and the discussion, now informal, moved to an
adjoining café, and after the closure a massive beer went on and talked for a long time.

Uber Eats bicycle and motorcycle suppliers are exposed to severe exploitation. This is
directly related to Uber's policy. The company does not employ suppliers directly, but
directs them to the so-called "fleet partners", which are often one-person companies that
act as intermediaries. In this way, Uber gets rid of the trouble associated with hiring
employees, and these are relegated to the grace and disfavor of the broker, who often acts
unlawfully, is late with payments, or does not pay at all. ---- In October, the Uber Eats
supplier, which Peak-n-Touch did not pay one of the brokers, decided to work with ZSP in
Warsaw. We contacted this company requesting payment. Thanks to our intervention, the
employee recovered 1500 PLN of outstanding remuneration. Unfortunately, some employees
resigned from the struggle for outstanding remuneration by simply choosing another "fleet
partner". The owner of Peak-n-Touch disappeared and the employees lost contact with him.
As Uber Eats informs us, a similar situation occurred with the Patelpolska partner. Its
owner had to escape from Poland with the amount of 70,000. PLN unpaid salaries for about
100 suppliers.

Bouteflika is only one aspect of the problem. Everyone knows very well that he is
impotent, and that he is only a straw man for the clan of the generals who hold the real
power. Wanting it back on display still for a 5 th term, they have spread too openly their
contempt of the people. Now the street is expressing itself. It is the entire mafia system
of Algerian power that must be swept away. ---- Since February 22, hundreds of thousands
of people demonstrate in dozens of cities in Algeria. On the social networks the calls for
mobilization spread like wildfire on the announcement of the probable candidate in the
elections of Abdelaziz Bouteflika, in power since 1999. Since, the revolt amplifies,
joined these last days by the universities and high schools or by teachers. Beyond the
refusal of the 5 th presidential term, the watchwords too, seem to expand.
Rallies of solidarity in France:
Paris: Sunday, March 3 at 12 pm, Place de la République
Lyon: Saturday, March 2, at 14 hours, in front of the Consulate General of Algeria.

Toulouse: Sunday March 3rd, at 2 pm, Place du Capitole.

Beyond Bouteflika, a system to clear
At nearly 82 years old, Bouteflika is ill and unable to deliver a speech in public since a
stroke in 2013. Unable to participate in an official ceremony, he is usually represented
by a frame with his portrait. So many and many protesters have renamed it with humor "
Abdel Cadre ", or brandish empty frames in the processions.
But behind Bouteflika hiding profiteers who monopolize the hydrocarbon rent, while they
impose austerity and misery to the working classes. Generals and their heirs are the
backbone of this mafia power that adheres to the neoliberal economy and an
Islamo-nationalist ideology to better defend its privileges.
General Ahmed Gaïd Salah (one of the strongmen in Algiers).
The chief of the Algerian army staff said on January 23: " We are sworn that the
elections will be held in a climate of tranquility thanks to the help and the will of
Allah the Almighty ". Missed my general !

The cracked lead screed ?
For years, the government has been trying to silence any protest by repressing social
movements and silencing opponents, trade unionists, activists or bloggers. Again, the
repression is strong while the demonstrations are pacifist. While the national media is
ridiculously trying to hide the scale of the protests, the police baton and gauze all the
time. The arrests are numerous and many have been conducted preventively to try to quell
the revolt. Judicial convictions were not long in coming.
The government, like all those who have no interest in seeing the established order
challenged, threatens a return to the years of the " dirty war " of the 1990s, when the
people were caught between the terror imposed by the military, and that deployed by the
Islamists.
But no power is unshakable, and anger rises against this regime without a future. Once
again youth seems to be the spearhead of the revolt. Nothing surprising for this
generation condemned to unemployment, precariousness and repression. The events are now
taking a social turn and target the entire system in place.
They abandon the general idea of the 5 th mandate to calm the revolt ? On the contrary,
will they try to decay the protest ? One thing is certain: the lead screed cracked ; a gap
is open.

Dear everybody, March is the ACTION MONTH. There's a big number of demonstrations planned
where the Vrije Bond Amsterdam will participate in. This mail is just about the first two,
keep an eye on your mail to get updates about further demonstrations. houd de Vrije Bond
mail in de gaten voor meer updates voor de verdere demonstraties. This week alone there's
two demonstrations planned that we will walk in and show our solidarity ---- Women's March
12:30 Saturday 9th of March ---- Climate March 13:00 Sunday 10th of March ---- Join us!
And march with the anarchists. The Vrije Bond Amsterdam is calling on everyone to form an
intersectional block, where we will propagate for radical change and hopefully rouse
others with our slogans and chants. Bring some throat pastilles to lube your vocal chords,
the anarcho flags and topical banners and walk with us! For both demonstrations we will
meet at stairs of the palace on Dam square (see added picture). You can find call-outs for
the specific marches on the internet: For the Women's march there's this call out by the
Vrije Bond Amsterdam. For the Climate March you can read this call out for an
intersectional block by different groups.
We hope to see you there, may the weather be pleasant and the liberalism sparse! Till then!
