Faced with the many struggles to be fought and the gigantic stakes, activists of
Alternative Libertaire (AL) and Coordination of Anarchist Groups (CGA) to unite to give
more visibility to the libertarian movement. In June, it will hold the founding congress
of a new libertarian communist organization.

March 19 brought together thousands of teachers on the street. We must now continue and
anchor the fight everywhere for a school of equality and acceptable working conditions for
the staff ! ---- A FIRST DAY SUCCESS ---- On Tuesday, March 19, the day of
interprofessional strike was marked by a very strong mobilization in the education sector.
One teacher in every second school was on strike ! The demonstrations were full of banners
and processions of settlements, testifying to an anchorage of the strike closer to the
field. ---- Above all, general assemblies met and in many places they were representative,
sometimes bringing together hundreds of strikers. Many AGs all over France are already
calling for the strike to be reconductible. ---- In Nantes, education staff have opened
the way since 11 March by voting for a week of reconductible strike at a historic General
Assembly gathering 460 staff including 360 of the first degree !

ENTER MASSIVELY IN THE FIGHT !
With its first article aimed at muzzling teachers, the Loi Blanquer is a real "  gag law "
that must absolutely be blown up. It would jeopardize the denunciation by the trade
unionists of the struggle of the degraded working conditions, would favor the omerta and
the authoritarianism already too present.

Parcoursup, the counter-reforms of the lycée and the vocational high school have in common
to push back the principle of equality. Massive job cuts lead to the deterioration of
staff working conditions and student learning. There is every reason to get into the fight!

FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE STRUGGLE BASE
The current social climate is boiling. The government is at bay in the face of yellow
vests that do not give up despite the terrible repression. A strong strike in education
would have every chance of bending it. As in the United States, where the victorious
strikes of teachers succeed each other, it is clearly the renewable strike that brings the
balance of power to its highest level. For that we need general meetings everywhere ! That
they are representative of the schools and schools mobilized, that they rely as much on
the daily problems encountered in the establishments as on the general struggle against
the "  gag law  " of Blanquer. Let them coordinate with each other, city by city and even
beyond.

Demand the withdrawal of the Blanquer law, the guarantee of freedom of expression as
educational freedom, the increase of salaries, classes to 20 students maximum and the
creation of posts accordingly.

It is for a school of equality, for an emancipatory school that we lead this fight. Long
live the strike

In the name of Bakunin, Malatesta, Berneri, and even Gino Lucetti ... The FAI[Italian
Anarchist Federation], as an autonomous, federalist, self-managed, non-salaried assembly,
is the heir of the Italian Anarchist Union, 1919-20) and of varied associative experiences
of the antifascist exile, the Spanish war, the confinement and the armed resistance. It
was created in 1945 in Carrara, where the first national congress was celebrated with the
participation of numerous delegates from all over Italy. The greetings of the democratic
parties arrive, also present with their own observers (Sandro Pertini is part of the
socialist delegation). Meanwhile, "Umanità Nova" - a journal that is still published today
- glorious daily newspaper is silenced by fascists.

The Federation was born in a euphoric mood of great hope. The points of the political
struggle are related to the problems of the reconstruction of the country, the union
action and the organization of the movement. Specifically, in the reconstruction, the
following objectives are indicated: neutrality of Italy and rejection of military
expenses; equality for women; direct action against landowners; study for the application
of new production systems in collective management; financing for the reconstruction of
locally managed buildings; school free of charge. Certainly, however, for the movement, it
is a traumatic transition from the mass protagonism of the pre-fascist period to a reduced
role of witness.

The divergent internal events of Italian anarchism in the decades following the end of the
war are characterized by a number of salient episodes: the bitter contrast between the FAI
and the new Anarchist Groups of Proletarian Action in the early 1950s; the FAI division in
the mid-1960s of the Anarchist Initiative Groups; the confrontation is with the
"culturalist" wing (GAF) or with the communist-libertarian wing. Between bold attempts at
cultural renewal and defense of identity and principles, between class struggle and
classism, organization and individualism, the movement comes down to strategic issues of
great importance whose success remains bound by the unresolved contradictory dialectic
relationship with the new "progressive democracy ".

The development of juvenile libertarian movements, the long cycle of social struggles that
began with the end of the 1960s, marks a renaissance of the Federation which, at the
organizational level, also realizes its "planetary" dimension by promoting, in 1968, the
International Federation of Anarchist Federations.

It follows a difficult and exciting period, at the same time, beautiful and tragic, where
the hope of 68 and the shadowy plots of the state massacres (from Fontana Square and the
murder of Pinelli), the creativity of the 77 and the so-called " years of lead. " From the
anarcho-punks to the metropolitan Indians, from the feminist battles to the ecological
battles against nuclearism, from self-managed social centers to grassroots syndicalism,
the FAI marks presence and attention in all the antagonistic movements that characterize
the last decades of the twentieth century.

Also during the G8 of Genoa in 2001, marked by the murder of Carlo Giuliani, Federation
anarchists are visible protagonists of the protests against the "eight great men of the
world" and their ultra-liberal policies and liberticidas. The great European Social Forum
in Florence in November 2002 clearly shows its strong libertarian impact.

In the Global is the general name of this new movement that joins black and rainbow flags
and, with its active presence, distinguishes the public scenario at the beginning of the
third millennium. That is organized in an  unprecedented network of global, transnational
and "anarchist" social Forum; which is capable of representing opposing practices of
considerable media impact, of elaborating radical critiques and intelligent analyzes of
the so-called "globalization" system.

Starting in 2007, a global banking financial crisis is unleashed, whose domino effects,
tragically social, refer to the Great Depression of the 1930s. In this context, the
Federation commits itself, together with the antifascist and libertarian social movements,
to contrast the "Western" extreme right, xenophobic and sovereign.

These mass mobilizations quickly ended with the defeat of alter-globalization reformism
and the radical movement  No Global , but even so some resistance groups still persist.

Although there is undoubtedly a general rediscovery of cultural and scientific anarchism
on the other, it is seen almost as an obsolete political phenomenon considering the old
libertarian traditions. However, it's still a story that continues, though. From a
history, such as that represented by FAI (founded in 1945), which accepted the challenge
of "connecting anarchism and radical thinking". Even in the 21st century.

On this March 31, we have nothing to celebrate. Fifty-five years ago, a military
dictatorship was established in Brazil, which murdered hundreds of people! Supported by
business and national media; controlling the sectors of bourgeois justice, the military
constructed the myth that they are better referees for political issues, and that during
their time in power there was no corruption, much less political prisoners. However, the
reality is that the military period was bloody and sought to silence the voice of the
people and anyone who stood in a minimally progressive way. The military regime
established violence and institutionalized torture. The dictatorship was a project
designed and put into practice to reach the interests of certain groups - right-wing,
conservative,

Proof of the institutionalization of torture is the fact that the Army Police theorized
and experimented with various methods of torture in so-called "torture classes" with
"prisoners guinea pigs" - the public consisted of military personnel and classes taught by
officers who projected material on torture and applied it in practice as a form of
exposure. According to the report of the National Truth Commission, more than 30 types of
torture were applied; more than 20 thousand people were tortured, 191 dead, 210 missing;
and these numbers are not yet definitive. As far as women are concerned, the military has
exhausted all their machismo and hatred for them. The military dictatorship also
constituted a kind of institutionalization of violence against women, since the military
torturers used the condition of women of the tortured ones to intensify the physical and
psychological tortures. In addition to being raped, having animals inserted in their
vaginas, these women suffered from threats to their daughters and sons, with accusations
of being bad mothers and women, abortions caused by torture, etc. The marks of such
brutalities will never be erased from the memory of those who have survived, which means
daily torture throughout their lives!

The military pursued, tortured, raped and killed! We have reason to be concerned about the
current scenario in the country, because we see the union of the same ingredients that
fomented the 1964 coup. Despite the facts, the narrative that there was no coup in 1964
but a "revolution" continues to be propagated in recent times with even greater force -
with some attempt of theoretical support through academic characters. In Brazil, this is
only possible because, unlike our Latin neighbors, the accounts with this disastrous
period were not correct. The Amnesty Law, 1979, provided one of the greatest silences in
our history, since "broad, general and unrestrained" as the military proposed, left the
possibility for revisionism over military dictatorship to surface. Now,

The institutional left, when in power, did not face these problems with due weight and
attention. During the PT governments, they preferred to make agreements with the elites of
Brazil, and also allowed the military to continue to strengthen their doctrines, initiated
in the Military Dictatorship Regime and that constitute the chief car of this current
government; that is, to paint as progressive and communist as a communist . Blind, this
weakened left did not hold to the fact that the oligarchy of Brazil and the military never
ceased to articulate. Without a strategic project, they continue to call the "Lula Livre"
as their main guideline, defending a position that does not change anything structurally.

On March 31, we celebrated nothing! We do not even have that date as a mere remembrance.
At that time, we must react against the attacks made by fascism, organizing and
strengthening the people's struggle, strengthening the construction of a strong people and
popular power. Our response to those who defend the memory of the Military Dictatorship as
a positive thing will be organizing the strikes, in the struggles of the original peoples,
in the neighborhoods fighting side by side with the people.

We will fight for another coup to be managed, and for this we believe that our
achievements will not be defended in parliament, much less claiming bourgeois democracy.

Do not Forget! Do not Forgive!
