Dimitris Koufodtina's licenses are canceled again ---- In February 2019, the licenses of
Dimitris Koufodtina, a member of the revolutionary organization November 17, are cut off
again. In fact, we see that the Prosecutor's Veto is again applicable, a measure that
deprives and will continue to deprive prisoners of rights because of the over-remittance
it provides to any kind of prosecutor. The veto led the case to an out-of-prison council,
which in turn also rejected the request for a political prisoner's leave. ---- It is
another enforcement action against the consistent fighter Dimitris Koufontas, as he is
basically asking for a statement of repentance and resignation from the fight in return
for the regular permissions he is entitled to. ---- Ends the Revolutionary Struggle Court
of Appeal in connection with the explosion in the Bank of Greece
In the final line, the Court of Appeal has been charged with the attack by Commando
Lambros Fount of the Revolutionary Struggle at the Bank of Greece and then the permanent
seat of the IMF Permanent Representative in Greece. This is a major trial, as it has the
specific weight of life imprisonment for Nikos Maziotis and Polla Roupa (members of the
EA) for an explosion in the bank's "noble foundation". How much mutual benefit has anyone
seen from the bank of Greece?
In the same appeal court, the anarchist Antonis Stamboulos and Giorgos Petrakakos are accused.
The trial of the 9 Turkish fighters began
On 28/11/2018, 8 fighters and 1 fighter from Turkey are arrested in several homes. Their
capture takes place before Rejep Erdogan's visit to Athens and is directly linked to a
possible blow to the Turkish president himself and a warfare is being set up.
The 9 are accused of joining DHKP-C (Revolutionary People's Liberation Front-Party). The
two events are not unrelated. The arrest of fighters on Greek soil before the visit of the
Turkish president gives the neighboring state the trust of the common enemy and
contributes to better transnational relations.
Escape from the cells
On the New Year's Day in 2019, two detainees escaped from Korydallos Prison and were only
seen the next day in the morning catastrophe. On January 11, 2019 six detainees escaped
(five escaped, while one was briefly taken over) from the Crucifixion of the Transfers to
Petros Rallis.
There is not much to be written about them and those who decide to shake off their bonds
and run for their freedom, with as many difficulties as they may face in doing it or if
they will be imprisoned again. Their need for freedom is enough.
Though some have not been able to remain free, we can only bring fortune to the runaways
and power to all the oppressed.
On the persecution of Russian anarchists and anti-fascists
In October 2017, Russia's Federal Intelligence Agency (the "counter-terrorism") invented
the terrorist organization called "Network", the core of which is supposedly located in
Moscow, St Petersburg, Penz and Belarus .
Thus, a pogrom of persecution, arrests and torture begins:
On October 17 and 18, 2017, six anarchists and anti-fascists were arrested in the city of
Penz (Egor Zorin, Ilija Sakurski, Vasily Kuskoff, Dmitri Pcheltinchev, Andrei Chernov,
Arman Sangibayev).
An arrest warrant is issued for two others who have been fleeing from Russia.
On January 23, the twenty-three-year-old antifascist Viktor Filinkov is arrested in St.
Petersburg. He is accused of participating in a terrorist organization with inexperienced
yet people who embrace anarchist ideology and want to provoke riots in the country. Under
the pressure of torture and with the threat of putting him in a cell with prisoners
suffering from tuberculosis, Filinov confesses what they dictate to him.
Two days later, Igor Sikin is arrested, also accused of involvement in a terrorist
organization.
A victim of torture by OLA also fell down Ilia Kapustin, who was examined as a witness to
this case.
On July 5, 2018, two other suspects, Michael Kulkov and Maxim Ivankin, were arrested in
Penn for drug production and trafficking. One month before they had joined them in the
"Network" organization, and in March of the same year they had re-conquered and tortured
with anti-fascist Alexei Poltafsi, accusing them of having drugs.
In addition to the fraudulent organization "Network", which is the main fabric of
persecution, the Russian authorities have for a year gone ahead with upgrading the media
anarchist platform "Laiki Self-Defense" to an extremist organization charging activism,
existing and non-existent torture and arrests of people in the competitive movement.
On February 1, 2019, Moscow searches for anarchist and left-wing activists' homes, and
more than ten people are denounced, denouncing branded beatings and electric torture.
During torture, everyone asks if they know the anarchist Azat Miftahov and the
organization "People's Self-Defense".
Miftahov himself is arrested the same day, but for an entire 24-hour period the
prosecuting authorities do not communicate to his relatives and lawyer the place where he
is detained.
All arrestees denounced psychological pressure, torture with electric shock, head-to-head
hanging, and other torture.
The information was "caught" by the announcement of the "comrades initiative" in
connection with their intervention outside the Russian Consulate.
The lives of women prisoners are at risk
In the last year prisoners of the Korydallos prison have no access to a hospital,
scheduled examinations, surgeries, treatments are canceled, since the prisoners never
reach hospitals. The reason is the constant denial of the Transfers to transport them.
Sick women are unable to travel the few miles that divide them from their doctor because
they are ... held.
From the scheduled medical appointments to hospitals we have one out of 10. And this is a
lenient approach. As a result of this tactic, serious health incidents are not treated or
treated late after months and after repeated postponements. Non-reversible damage to the
health of prisoners is caused by this condition and the lives of sick women are directly
threatened. Women with cancer are not operated, do not do the necessary treatments, women
with serious health problems do not know whether they will go to live in the hospital and
face the disease in time. There are women who are afraid they will not get out of jail.
Many of these sick women move from the prisons of Elaionas to Thebes to be transported to
hospitals they never reach. Once again, they are transferred to Thebes to schedule a new
appointment, they are again transferred to Korydallos and they face the same discomfort
over and over again. This tactic follows the transfer with the tolerance and approval of
the two competent ministries ("Justice" "Protection" of the Citizen), is criminal.
No justification can legitimize this treatment that puts the lives of hundreds of women in
prison in the past year. And of course, they can not hide the people behind the excuse of
"lack of power," as Conversion constantly invokes. In other words, even if we accept this,
we must accept that human life has no meaning in the face of "adequate" security measures,
whatever these measures are? Should we accept that the lives of detainees are worthless,
because they are detained?
This position explicitly states that human life is losing its value. With this treaty
violated every right of the prisoners, violated the right to health, care, violated and
crushed the primary right of all the right to life itself.
This situation is no longer the case. We do not want to suffer permanent damage to our
health because we can not have access to hospitals and doctors as prisoners. We do not
want deaths in prisons. We do not want prison to threaten our own lives everyday. The
irreversible damages to the health of prisoners created by this treaty, which has now
become permanent and the immediate threat to everyday life of all of us, is responsible.
It is the Transferees and, above all, the relevant Ministries of Justice and Citizenship.
We will not expect to have our dead hold. Why then it will be late.
* Stop this crime-murder tactic now by Switching.
* Immediate access of all prisoners to hospitals.
* Right to health, to life for everyone / all.
All women on the ground floor sign in Korydallos women's prisons (followed by 53
signatures of women prisoners).

Statement by local government employees from Poznan associated in OZZIP ---- As the Poznan
local government employees associated in the Workers' Initiative, we express indignation
at the increasingly bold statements of President Jacek Jaskowiak about the withdrawal of
the salaried workers taking part in the strike from Poznan . ---- Our committees have been
fighting for higher wages and improving working conditions prevailing in Poznan local
government institutions for years. We organize protests, conduct talks with municipal
officials and politicians, create a broader movement to improve the situation of public
sector employees. Our long-standing practice of action shows that only constant pressure
from employees may force local governments to stop politics belt cuts and clamping. The
basis of this pressure are strong employee groups operating in factories.
We are therefore impressed by the activities of teachers and technical staff of schools
associated in the Poznan Inter-School Strike Committee. Thanks to their coordinated
efforts from the last days, improving the existence of school staff is at your fingertips.
In connection with this, the president of Poznan changed his front and for several days he
strives to break the strike in schools. While performing the duties of the president and
sitting on the boards of municipal companies, he earns several times more than the
employees of schools, nurseries, cultural institutions, etc. At the same time, he urges
teachers to settle for the current, almost starvation, wages. Thanks to whose work does
this city and country function? Thanks to the presidents of companies, or maybe thanks to
politicians? The current strike has shown that when the schools stop working, the country
is paralyzed. Jaskowiak is aware of this and by withdrawing from the original payroll
declarations, he tries to take the teachers hunger to break their strength and force them
to end their protests.
At the same time, he claims that he is a defender of democracy. Mr. President Jaskowiak,
true democracy will not exist in a country whose economy is based on low wages
and in which politicians suppress workers' protests.
While politicians maintain their power through fraud and dividing up employees, the basis
of our strength is employee solidarity. We strongly demand from President Jacek Jaskowiak
that he pay salaries for the period of the teachers' strike in line with his previous
promises.

The Anarchist Federation is joining the mobilization this May, which is a response to the
neo-Nazi attempt to march on this important day through the streets of Brno. The event is
being convened by Iniciativa Brno, which has already stood up several times in the
previous years against similar events of Hitler's graves. ---- The ultra-right
Parádenmarsh is organized by the National and Social Front (NSF), which is still the same
face that, after a period of effort to penetrate politics under the heading of the
Workers' Party of Social Justice (DSSS), returns an action that directly admires Nazi
aesthetics - triads , banners, torches and the like. We really do not want something like
that on our streets and we must actively stand up to it.
But it would be a mistake to think that the real problem is the few Nazi nostalgic people.
The greater nightmare is the fact that part of their policies have settled in mainstream
politics in various direct and transformed forms. Many parties, or at least some of their
rather insignificant members, have adopted a hatred policy. This hatred takes on different
forms, but on their background are still the same scarecrows who had long ago wandered in
the garbage dump of history - xenophobia, racism, nationalism, fascism, homophobia and
similar crap.
So, in the streets of Brno, we will not only focus on the ultra-rightist rapists and
admirers of the mass massacre of uncomfortable groups of people and ethnicities, but a
policy that is based on spreading hatred against (often imaginary) enemies, based on their
race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or unenviable social marginalized.
Neoliberal capitalism, so hurricane introduced since the early 1990s, left a huge group of
losers behind. A handful of those who have captured everything they can, headed by a
billionaire prime minister, are laughing at them. There is frustration and a sense of
injustice in society. But hate policy offers people a false promise of dignity by
humiliating those who are even worse off than they do. But in reality, lost dignity can
only be obtained in one way - to take back what has been stolen and not to allow further
exploitation or other forms of oppression.
So we will meet May 1st in the streets of Brno. Create affinity groups! Show your
creativity! Don't give the Nazis any chance!
Meeting 17:00 on Dominican Square.
FB event: https://cs-cz.facebook.com/events/2064034897227045
The concept of the event the same as the year before - non-violent, funny action everywhere.
It is worth mentioning the action of flushing Nazi torches from Radio Tula:

If you do not get to Brno on May 1st and want to remind yourself of this day, you can, for
example, improve the current issue of the A3 wall newspaper , which is dedicated to the
first May tradition as well as the current challenges. Or you can remind the First May in
places of historical workers' struggles or, especially in the north of Bohemia, at the
graves of anarchist militants from the past. We will be happy if you inform us about your
activities at afed[a]afed.cz.

Saturday, thirteenth of April is a date that is definitely worth remembering. It was then
that the First Equality March in Gniezno took place . A group of nearly 80 activists and
activists from Poznan, associated with the Poznan section of the Anarchist Federation and
Kolektyw Rozbrat, supported this event with their participation. With black and red flags
and accompanied by Samba Halastra, along with some of the march organizers, we entered the
Gniezno market. The market was greeted by quite a large, colorful and diverse group of
participants and participants of the march, there were representatives of various leftist
parties among them, but above all dominated by non-attached people who wanted to express
their support for the idea of equality, tolerance and mutual respect.
At this point, one can not overlook the presence on the same market of a large group of
onlookers and opponents of the march and numerous police forces. It is impossible to talk
about counter-manifestation here, because the arguments in the form of verbal aggression,
insults, lying banners suggesting a relationship between a different sexual orientation
and pedophile crime - this does not qualify as a counter-manifestation of views, or rather
a lynch atmosphere or bears the characteristics of a pogrom atmosphere, considering
formulated threats and striving for physical confrontation.
The president of Gniezno, Tomasz Budasz[member of the Civic Platform], has already
mentioned the aforementioned atmosphere - trying to prohibit the organization of the
march, using "arguments" about the safety of the inhabitants. As if supporters of equality
could pose any threat to this security. The court finally annulled the president's ban,
but the political intention expressed by that prohibition remained. Similarly, some media
such as Radio Poznan devoted a lot of space in their message to planned
counter-demonstrations or repeating false arguments formulated, including by the city
councilor of PiS Pawel Kaminski. In the context of small-town politics, the warming up of
the atmosphere of beheading and threats to other people, different, could have really
dangerous consequences. Behavior of the so-called
In spite of everything, the First Equality March moved smoothly through the streets of
Gniezno. At the head of the march, his participants carried the largest banner with the
inscription: "Gniezno - the first capital of equality." All, quite numerous speeches
during the march were translated into sign language. The LGBTQ family representatives,
representatives of associations acting for the benefit of excluded people and LGBTQ
persons were not among those taking the floor. Not only equality and tolerance were
demanded, but also the need for reliable sexual education, counteracting violence and
respect for women's rights was mentioned. About 400 people took part in the same march.
During the march there were several minor skirmishes, mainly verbal, with his opponents.
In addition to the curses, spitting has also appeared in their arsenal. At the very end of
the march towards the participants from the aggressive crowd, eggs and a few bottles of
paint flew as well. Our information shows that nothing happened to any of the participants
and participants of the march. It is worth mentioning that from police messages it appears
that all detainees on that day were a group of so-called counter-demonstrators, messages
were about 7 to 9 people, all detained people were under the influence of alcohol. We
would like to mention it in order to put another disgraceful statement of President
Gniezno in this context, referring to the losses caused by attacks on the march: "We will
try to enforce the repair of these damages from people, who carried out these acts of
vandalism, regardless of which side they were. " This is how the local authorities once
more try to create an impression of symmetry between those who demand equal treatment,
respect and tolerance, and those who want to deprive them of these rights and even
threaten them with a physical attack.
We hope that the First Equality March will activate local freedom milieus, give them
energy for further actions, in opposition to power, but always for the expansion of
freedom. In such activities, they will always be able to count on the support of Poznan
anarchists and anarchists.

I'm not sure I could name a revolution that hasn't been a focal point for artists,
musicians and creatives. The struggle to build a better world and fighting great evils
that seek to control us and grind us down is pretty much is a most powerful muse that has
inspired great works and idle doodles through-out history. It is a heritage and character
we celebrate in almost every aspect of our lives. I think Emma Goldman said it best in
Living My Life (1931) when she talks about enjoying some music and someone tells her "it
did not behoove an agitator to dance", enraged she reflects; ---- "I did not believe that
a Cause which stood for a beautiful ideal, for anarchism, for release and freedom from
convention and prejudice, should demand the denial of life and joy. I insisted that our
Cause could not expect me to become a nun and that the movement would not be turned into a
cloister. If it meant that, I did not want it. "I want freedom, the right to
self-expression, everybody's right to beautiful, radiant things." Anarchism meant that to
me, and I would live it in spite of the whole world - prisons, persecution, everything.
Yes, even in spite of the condemnation of my own closest comrades I would live my
beautiful ideal. "
So let's take a moment to celebrate some art!
Meet the work of Chris Bird
" I create speaks about the confusing and beautiful energy of city life and my own
struggle against mental health issues. My art stands squarely on the side of the
marginalized and poor. I hope that the images inspire people to go on and create their own
art and find their own voice. I really value this opportunity to share my art and I
particularly hope to reach out to those people who face social marginalization. I drew
many of the images while a day patient at the Jules Thorn Acute Unit in Kings X as well as
at Portugal Prints' studio, Arlington House, Camden Town... I don't believe in art as a
removed or lofty exercise. I often listen to music when I draw and I have been influenced
by bands such as CRASS, Psychic TV, Joy Division, Cabaret Voltaire and X Ray Spex."
I think it's quite wonderful and powerful. It's a raw and powerful take on our collective
struggles in this urban delirium. I'm not the only either, he's had exhibitions at Camden
Mind, The Marx Memorial Library, Freedom Bookshop and you'll find his artwork in various
punk zines and the likes of The Big Issue. In conjunction with Tom Mallander at ‘Write
London' he has also produced a paperback collection of short stories and drawings called,
"From Wapping and West Ham to Istanbul and Back Again" (2018)
His next exhibition will be as part of "LONDONS LIGHT AND DARK" which is being held at The
Conference Centre at St Pancras Hospital, opening night being Thursday 2 May 2019 from
5.30pm and the exhibition being up until the 28th of June. The event is a collaboration of
the NHS's The Arts Project and Mind's Portugal Prints and will feature artists both
trained and self-taught, interpreting the title and theme of the exhibition, London's
Light and Dark by sharing their personal feelings and experience of London through
creative expression. London's architecture, signage, and cultural heritage are subject
matters for the artworks along with portraiture of the human face, offering expressions of
mood, both positive and negative. The exhibition delves beneath the surface of what it
means for all of us living in the metropolis of one of the world's great cities.
"Unknown In The City"
Which is the artsy way of saying the shows going to be tidy and you might want to pop
along and experience London through the eyes of it's artists! In the mean time you can
have a gander at more of Chris Bird's work on Outside In a website dedicated toproviding a
platform for artists who face barriers to the art world and over on his Facebook.
Are you a comrade artist, poet or musician? Email us at organise@afed.org.uk and let us
share your work and celebrate the beautiful creatives in our community.

We do not enter into elections willy nilly - in fact this will be our first election since
Prague in 1911.Our candidate's election slogan then was...' A FREE POCKET AQUARIUM FOR

We have every confidence that ADAM CLIFFORD/JIMMY KUNT will find a suitable slogan
replacement. The international caucus of our glorious party will meet on Mayday to adopt

Between 19 and 31 of March took place in MACRO Asilo of Rome (Italy) the event Art
Anarchia. Thus, the collective Modern School / Ateneu Libertario celebrates 10 years of
activity alongside the Venetian magazine APARTe °, unique in its genre in the field of art
and anarchy, celebrating this international meeting and exhibition on the relationship
between Art and Ideal. ---- The Anarchia Art format has parallels with other recent
experiences in the Spanish state as Art and Propaganda Libertarian , ANARCO or Days of
Anarchist Art and Creativity . It is a format of affinity groups or assemblies, which
horizontally and distributed self-organizing by the principles of mutual support. Some of
the participants in all these meetings met again in Rome. While the space presented its
own characteristics as expected.
And in the first place we discover that the exhibition and the encounter do not occur in
an independent, self-managed and / or occupied space, but of a museological institution
such as MACRO Asylum in Rome. However, this is an institution that has certain
peculiarities, first of all is the lack of budget for its operation, as the patronage with
what counted went to the spectacular Roman cultural initiative, MAXXI, built by Zaha
Hadid. In this circumstance, the new direction of MACRO, led by Giorgio de Finis,
anthropologist (who comes from an interesting alternative project such as MAAM, a museum
created in a former occupied factory, where contemporary art coexists with the character
of refuge and space of migrants, where art has taken a protective role preventing the
forced eviction of property), he decided to transform MACRO into a sort of "asylum" (hence
the name) for artists, compensating for the lack of economic resources by opening spaces
for temporary workshops, lectures, performances, video shows and short presentations
(duration of Anarchia Art is exceptional), proposed by the artists themselves who find in
this space a place to organize and distribute their own projects without having a team of
commissioners to use, on the other hand, provokes strong opposition to the domains of
cultural and artistic management of the city. It should be noted that, for example, one of
the events that coincided with Art Anarchia at the time was an event to celebrate the
Kurdish New Year organized by the recognized group Stalker. compensating the lack of

In addition to the space where the meeting takes place Arte Anarchia also find new aspects
in the contents that have not been very present in shows about art and anarchy previously
cited and gives the exhibition a new focus, as a look back, referring to artistic projects
of an anarchist character inscribed in the history of art, such as the exhibition of
serigraphs by Flavio Costantini (a reference within the anarchist graphic) and Daniela
Bognolo and documents associated with the work "The funeral of the anarchist Pinelli"
Enrico Baj, who in 1972 caused a great scandal and hard responses from conservative
circles, to such an extent that their exposure was banned. In this historical density also
contributes the editorial fund ApARTeº, a magazine with a semiannual frequency for 15 years,
Also noteworthy is the look at e-mail-art, a practice in the purest conceptual tradition
of questioning the artistic modes of objects, of market and of distribution that never
ends disappearing perhaps because it is always relevant, in its beginning by its
connection with anti-art discourses and in favor of the democratization of artistic
practices and the creation of alternative distribution networks, later with the advent of
net-art, incorporating their latent networks into e-mail lists and now for the moment,
post -internet, with a return to the physical.
In most of the exhibition we find a part of what we might call a "revolutionary formalism"
that plays with the icons and colors of anarchy, a kind of, since we are in Italy,
"political poverty", and another part that alludes to agit-prop, in which projects are
mixed from art to public space with anti-authoritarian and anarchist propaganda completely
anonymous, such as the poster denouncing police brutality, under the motto "The next can
be you" shows us pictures of murders by the Italian police, among whom we can recognize
Carlo Giuliani, among others.
The art of action and music also received their space through various scheduled
performances and concerts along with various conversations throughout each day of the event.
In short, we find a show that presents a culture built from the ground up with the
intention of forming a counter-public from libertarian thought, where visibility is given
to an international network of artistic practices inspired by anarchist principles, in a
more so that these types of encounters centered on visual culture will reach popularity
and consolidation in other aspects of the libertarian culture already settled, as is the
case of literature through anarchist book fairs.
The archive and library materials were donated by groups such as A-Rivista Anarchica,
Associazione "Amici dell 'Archivio Famiglia Berneri-Aurelio Chessa" CSL - libertarians
Centro Studi / Archivio Giuseppe Pinelli, FAL-Anselmo Lorenzo Foundation Madrid,
FuoriPosto, Gruppo Anarchico Carlo Cafiero-FAI.
The participants of the meeting were Andreco, Enrico Baj, Nicoletta Braga, Daniela
Bognolo, Paola Brolati, Belatz, Lorena Canottiere, Vico Calabrò, Andrea Chiarantini,

The Federation of Solidarity (SF, section of the International Association of Workers in
Britain) is in a state of labor conflict with the owners of the CJ Barbers hairdresser in
Brighton. The institution owed one of the members of the anarcho-syndicalist trade union
wages for two months and refuses to pay the money earned. SF launched a public campaign
against CJ Barbers. ---- The institution hired an employee as a student, promising to pay
for his work in two months. However, after the expiration of this period, it paid only £
100, although the comrade worked full-time. After that, two weeks later, the employee
quit. ---- SF requires that a friend be paid the minimum guaranteed wage and pay for work
on weekends and public holidays - just £ 2,821.63. ---- On April 7, anarcho-syndicalists
held their first picket in front of the barbershop, calling for her boycott and demanding
an end to the theft of wages by the bosses. On April 14, a new picket took place.
The institution reacted quite typically to the protest actions: attempts at intimidation,
physical threats against the picketers, calling the police ... But all this does not help
the owners: the pickets continued in the following weeks and will continue until payment
of wage arrears.
The next protest in front of CJ Barbers is scheduled for May 1.
