The British Military is Testing Body Armor by Blowing Up Pigs and Forcing Monkeys to Inhale Mustard Gas. This Vile Cruelty Must Stop, Now!

Dear friends,
Nearly 50,000 animals have died at the hands of the British Armed Forces over the past seven years. And that's not referring to animals killed in combat or through accidental processes —this is referring to defenseless creatures that are purposely tortured and murdered at a military technology laboratory.
The grotesque experiments that researchers at the top-secret lab lead are intended to test the effectiveness of body armor, gas masks, and other military equipment. In order to perform these experiments, researchers resort to heinous methods. While the program has just reached the public's awareness, it has reportedly been going on since 2010.
Pigs are torn apart in explosive tests, or in other cases shot in different parts of their body with rifles for "live tissue" experiments. Guinea pigs are poisoned with an excruciating nerve agent called VX. Some monkeys are injected with anthrax and other biological weapons so that scientists can observe their pain levels and time until death, while others are forced to breathe mustard gas. This sadism must end now, before more helpless animals are subjected to the same horrific fates!
There is no excuse for this type of viciousness, especially in a nation that otherwise has strong animal cruelty laws. It is unacceptable to make special exceptions to torture animals as long as it benefits the military. These laboratory tests are a shame to the United Kingdom and should be banned now.
Yet the experiments continue to be held even today. More animals will suffer and die if we don't act fast. Sign the petition demanding that the British Ministry of Defence cease these torturous lab trials now!
Thank you for all that you do,
P.S. 48,400 animals have been locked in a military laboratory in Porton Down, United Kingdom. While there, they've been subjected to the most horrific tortures you can imagine. Sign the petition to demand justice now!
