We stand in solidarity with our friends at squat Rozbrat in Poznan, Poland. An attack on
one of us is an attack on us all. #Rozbratzostaje! #Rozbratstays! ---- Rozbrat is facing
eviction after 25 years of existence. It's the heart of its community, where hundreds of
concerts, lectures and exhibitions took place. It's where Workers Initiative has seen
their begins, and it's been the home to countless activists. ---- The picture has been
taken during the 86th edition of Pinksterlanddagen ---- Rozbrat is located in the western
Poland city of Poznan. The property was squatted in 1994 and since then it became an
alternative politics and cultural centre. It also serves as a home for over 20 people, and
is both temporary and permanent shelter for homeless people. ---- The principal idea
behind the space is grassroots organising and self-governing. It is a home to the local
Anarchist Federation branch and Food not Bombs among others. The activists involved in
Rozbrat have been very much part of the local and beyond projects, including Anarchist
Black Cross, the Free Caucasus Committee and Workers Initiative Trade Union. The squat has
also been hosting many grassroots initiatives, such as the anarchist library and
publishing house, the printing workshop, self-education initiatives, bicycle workshop, a
sports club, and a rehearsal space for musicians. Over the years, thousands of events have
been organised at Rozbrat, including concerts, exhibitions, theatre plays, lectures,
seminars, meetings and workshops.
Rozbrat has been a home to several generations of activists who have played critical roles
during many social mobilisations and debates on social issues. The activists from Rozbrat
and the Poznan Anarchist Federation have actively defended the most excluded inhabitants
of the city, by supporting and initiating dozens of labour, tenant and environmental
protests. It was also them who co-funded the regional tenants' association and brought the
issue of illegal dislacements to public light by organising eviction blockades and making
it nearly impossible to render homeless the city's sick, disabled, seniors and parents
with children.
In a statement, Rozbrat says:
"We have provided organisational, legal and moral support to thousands of victims of
capitalism and of the state, and we supported other independent groups in Poland. We are
building a movement that relies on solidarity and mutual help instead of a rat race. We
have organised hundreds of rallies and demonstrations decrying contempt for people with
lower material status, different skin colour or different views."
Rozbrat's rich history includes a previous eviction attempt in 2009, when the space was
due to be auctioned, but no buyers turned up for the auction; and the February 1996 neo-
nazi attack, when a large group raided the space, stabbing a woman while she was sleeping
in her bed. The victim nearly died of blood loss, and was saved only due to a very prompt
medical treatment.
Today, the future of the space is again uncertain. In May, the bailiff office announced
that is is preparing the auctioning of the property. That move came despite of the fact
that several years ago, Rozbrat filled a case in court to secure rights to its lands based
on adverse possession law. This case remains open.
The legal status of the land where Rozbrat is located is complicated. It was nationalised
after the WW2, and, after Poland's transition to capitalism, it was taken over by a
private company as part of reprivatisation process. The new owner quickly went bankrupt
following a number of loans the company took, and the lender, a bank, sold it to a debt
trading company. The company is now demanding that the land is sold for an estimated 1.4
million Euro. This will certainly lead to an eviction attempt of the squat in order to
make space for developers and land speculators to do their business.
According to Rozbrat:
"The Mayor of Poznan has declared that no tools are available to him that could force the
bank to relinquish its claim to the plot and let the anarchists maintain the possession of
the land. But we know that the state and local government have grounds for defending the
social ownership of the property. They are simply refusing to make use of this right and
stop the land speculation. The bailiff, real estate speculators and their political allies
have once again taken legal steps to get rid of us. It is our conviction that after 25
years this area belongs to the Rozbrat community and needs to stay a collective property
of the movement. We are not going to give it up without a fight. Rozbrat has countless
times proved to serve the public interest, in contrast to the authorities, which represent
the private interests of real estate developers."
It is quite likely that Rozbrat will be forced to enter an expensive and complicated legal
battle in order to defend itself. That could be costly, and the squat decided to ask for
solidarity donations to cover legal costs. Anyone who is able to do so, can donate to this
account: BIGBPLPW 03 1160 2202 0000 0002 3589 7475 with reference "Donation to save
Rozbrat". Otherwise, share widely.
Since Rozbrat's land is about to be auctioned off we've started a support campaign which
coincides with the 25th birthday of our squat coming later this year. In May the debt
collector Bartosz Guzik estimated the value of Rozbrat at 6m zlotys (around 1,5m euro).
The auction might be announced at any given moment. Poznan authorities haven't made any
statements altough they would be able to take over the land which was nationalised after
World War 2, then it was illegally appropriated during reprivatisation. But we know we're
not alone and many people can't imagine Poznan without Rozbrat! We will regularly be
posting pictures of our friends!
What can you do?
Write down "Rozbrat Zostaje!" or "Rozbrat Stays!" on a piece of paper or say why Rozbrat
is important to you and why it should stay, take a picture or make a video, send it to us
and post it on your pgae. We need your support! Rozbrat - we were here, we are here and we
will be here! Use #rozbratzostaje #rozbratstays #rozbratbleibt

300 Stagecoach bus drivers based at Chorley and Preston depots in Lancashire went on
strike for two days on May 31st -June 1st. They had already been out on strike for four
days in May. These bus workers are demanding a 50p an hour pay rise and the decision to
strike was backed overwhelmingly. Further strikes are planned for 12th June, 18th June,
29th June, 13th July and 16th July. Meanwhile Stagecoach made a pre-tax profit of £95
million in 2018. ---- Woolwich Ferry strike ---- Workers on the Woolwich Ferry in London
went on strike on 3rd June over health and safety and pay. The 31 workers went on strike
in May for five days, with new strikes set for June 7th, 10th, 14th and 17th. The Ferry
bosses have refused to grant a 6 % pay rise and in addition have imposed new duties and
have failed to deal with health and safety concerns.
Bromley Library Workers
Library Workers in the London borough of Bromley are set to strike over vacant posts on
June 6th not being filled with relevant staff and over pay. They are employed by
Greenwich Leisure Group (GLL) when Bromley Council farmed out its library services. Last
year the library workers forced GLL to pay the London Living Wage. GLL has taken an
aggressive stance to the workforce and are constantly looking to maximise their profits at
the expense of workers. The strike will affect 14 libraries.

On May 10, 66 people were deported against their will to Albania , including 5 people from
Freiburg. On May 21, another plane from the deportation airport Baden-Airpark in Kosovo
started . Against their will on board were 35 people. Again and again, individual fates
behind the deportations are known, as that of a highly pregnant woman who was deported to
Albania on 23 April . ---- Also in the Islamist dictatorship Iran and the civil war
Afghanistan is being deported diligently. On 4 May, refugees from these countries
demonstrated in Karlsruhe . On May 11, in Pforzheim was demonstrated against the
deportation prison there . The prison authorities and the police responded with massive
harassment of the detained people.
Meanwhile, refugees in the LEA continue to see constant controls of their rooms by
"security" and police, the ban on cooking and the ban on receiving visitors .
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Basic Law, Medico International and the
Committee for Fundamental Rights and Democracy are calling for a right of residence for
all tolerated and illicit people in Germany . A success is to be desired.

By Federation of Brazilian Revolutionary Trade Union (FOB): The offensive on social rights
that it assumed under the neofascist and ultraliberal Bolsonaro / Mourão government, its
cruelest face, goes hand in hand with the militarization and control of the territories
through police brutality on poor communities and favelas. State and capital, starting from
a white supremacist logic, act to extend the levels of exploitation and precarization
while terrorizing territories of black majority and marginalized sectors of the
proletariat, with a policy of extermination that appears in the form of war against black
people and the slum. Neoliberalism combines the withdrawal of working class rights and
attacks on public services with necropolitics, genocide, and state terrorism. For this
reason, the deepening of the capitalist economic crisis has a direct relation with the
multiplication of the massacres in favelas and black and non-white majority communities.
In any large or medium-sized city of the country it is possible to observe the direct
relationship between unemployment rates and precariousness with police lethality.
The police state, which was enlarged by the public security policies of the PT and PMDB
governments, with the unprecedented increase in incarceration and the hitherto unpublished
policy of military occupation of racialized urban territories with the notorious UPPs, was
institutionalized by the electoral farce legitimized by institutional left, through a
brazen fraud that led us to the militia government of Bolsonaro, under the military
tutelage of the generals who once commanded the Minustah troops. The invasion of Haiti
under the command of Brazilian troops, which marks the 15th anniversary of this month of
June, with the PT government serving as imperialist servant and conducting a policy of
massacres, crimes and atrocities against the Haitian people, also served as a field of
training for military interventions in Brazil. It is symbolic that the East African
Military Command trained in Haiti in April of this year in Rio de Janeiro, the barbaric
episode of the firing with 257 shots of the car of the family of the musician Evaldo dos
Santos Rosa, murdering cowardly Evaldo and Luciano Almeida, taster recyclable materials
that tried to help the family. The disastrous and genocidal policies of the PT governments
in relation to Haiti and public security may be the most objective example of how class
collaboration serves as an anchors of fascism, and even trying to prove itself capable of
managing neoliberal barbarism, the PT has been discarded by the Brazilian lumpemburguesia
with the naturalness of who puts the garbage out of house every night. the barbaric

The Bolsonaro government has a clear agenda, in addition to obscurantism and right-wing
populism, it represents the deepening of the neoliberal and anti-people agenda, following
the end of the paradise of economic growth provided by the commodity boom and the
beginning of the capital offensive after the capitalist crisis of 2008. Bolsonaro, and his
family of militia goons, represent a type of goat in the room in an unstable government
and with fractions of right and extreme right in a bitter struggle for management and
plundering of the rotten state, while trying to run the country through a kind of
"catastrophic balance" and failed demonstrations of force such as the actions of the
Bolsonaise of May 26. On the one hand, Paulo Guedes' ultraliberal agenda, systematic
attacks on public services, cuts in education and reform to destroy pensions and the right
to retirement, on the other, attacks against indigenous and poor peasants, the attempt to
legalize militias and the pistolagem in the field and the "anticrime package" of the
fascist Sergio Moro,
The revolt against this government is taking its natural path, the streets. The great acts
of 15M and 30M throughout the country, with the main purpose of fighting against the cuts
in education, but also expressing all the popular dissatisfactions and preparing the
General Strike of June 14 against the pension reform, paved the way to defeat the
neoliberal attacks and the Bolsonaro / Mourão government. But it is necessary to build the
General Strike and the next struggles beyond the domestication and tutelage of the left of
the order and of the trade union bureaucracies, to broaden the base mobilization with
assemblies in categories, strikes, strikes and grassroots activities in schools and poor
neighborhoods,
It is also fundamental to bet on a real unity among the combative sectors, that is
materialized in autonomous and independent blocks to differentiate themselves from the
bodies eaten like UNE, CUT, CTB and the like; and especially to give a combative character
to the actions of the street, in addition to the peaceful demonstrations with leaders,
bureaucrats and professional politicians taking turns in hypocritical speeches and typical
speeches of social-democratic cynicism, which until another day led to attacks against the
working class as shift manager of capital. The General Strike needs to combine the forms
and methods of the various sectors of the class, the paralysis of production, services and
circulation, and at the same time to overcome the methods of the union and party
bureaucracy, to incorporate the demands and radicality of the marginal proletariat, the
struggles and revolts against police brutality in poor communities and peripheries. To
attack the banks, the real ones interested in destroying foresight, burning the symbols of
capital, erecting barricades and stopping the country with combative methods. In addition
to the attacks against education and retirement, to defeat the neofascist government the
General Strike must also be against state terrorism and the genocide of black people in
the peripheries. Incorporate the favela, its resistance, two pains and demands. It is
necessary to set fire to the big house and build rebellion, to open the way with the
direct action of the masses and a popular and revolutionary agenda to defeat capital, to
share wealth and power, to build socialism and popular self-government. the real ones

For 30 consecutive Saturdays, yellow vest demonstrators have taken to the streets across
France, despite thousands of arrests and thousands of injuries at the hands of the police.
---- While the numbers of yellow vest protesters are down from their highs. Independent
sources report around 20,000 people participating in demonstrations last Saturday. ----
The yellow vest movement began in November, protests initially began in response to tax
hikes, but the movement expanded to wider outrage against the government and growing
wealth inequality. ---- Hundreds of thousands of people mobilized across France and the
movement expanded with broad popular support. The yellow vest movement quickly spread to
other countries.
REPORT THIS AD
The yellow vest movement has been a spontaneous, self-organized social movement that has
held out for half a year in spite of violent police repression and government
criminilization of the protests while retaining its autonomy and resisting being co-opted
by establishment political forces within France.
While the French authorities almost immediately abandoned their plans to raise fuel taxes,
yellow vest activists have continued to take to the streets across France every weekend
for demonstrations to express their discontent with the government. The yellow vests
reject president Emmanuel Macron's policies and demand for the Macron government to leave
office.

On this weekend of Pentecost, on the borders of the Bituriges Cubes and Arvernes
territories, a congress of irreducible Gauls took place. So I could easily start my
column. ---- More seriously, there was, this weekend, in the anarchist world, something
other than an umpteenth split: a fusion of two libertarian collectives. And that is
obviously new. For my part, being in favor of an anarchism without adjective like
Voltairine de Clère, I saw this event with a benevolent eye. ---- What a pleasure to see
some 180 delegates, including many young people, come to debate the new statutes of the
new nascent organization. ---- Alternative Libertaire (AL) is an organization that has
existed for 28 years. The Coordination of Anarchist Groups (CGA), meanwhile, is only 17
years old.
These two groups, particularly in Auvergne, are increasingly used to working together in
the daily struggle against capitalism and its resultant fascism. And it is quite natural
that there is, about 18 months, the desire to come closer was felt.
Oh! Of course! Everything is not simple. Some notable differences may have arisen here and
there. But the same desire to come together to grow together was the strongest.
Thus, in this wonderful village of Allier, on the Green Plateau de Bellenaves, 180 people
from all over France, but also from Belgium, Switzerland and Italy, landed.
On the 8th, starting at 3 pm, the debates began to talk about the various amendments to
the manifesto. These amendments will be adopted or rejected by a 60% majority on Sunday
afternoon and Monday morning. And it will also be decided the new name resulting from the
merger.
The debates were rich and intense. For example:
* Should we write in the statutes a strict boycott of all bourgeois elections or can we
consider some sprains in municipal elections, for example, in view of a libertarian
municipalism dear to the first great theorists of Anarchism?
* Should we feminize the boss, the leader, in the name of any equality of treatment
knowing that they are, above all, representatives of the patriarchate?
Does fighting against discrimination involve fighting against
* Islamophobia while we are clearly bawlers of priests, imams, rabbis, etc.? Because,
ultimately, beyond the term Islamophobe, it is racism that we speak. Some people have
mentioned the term "arabophobia" but it is no more true apart from the language. Because,
as everyone knows (or should know), all those who are treated as Arabs are usually not.
I can not summarize three days and especially 18 months of preparation in a few lines but
it is clear that a new wind blows on the Anarchy ... although some prefer the word Libertaire.
I will note, just in passing, the presence of purple armbands, indicating the feminist
solidarity and protection group, which was used to indicate that people were available to
listen and intervene in case of problems particularly to help women. Although it is good
to do so, I find it unfortunate that we still have to go through it.
The new name resulting from the merger is: Union Communiste Libertaire
For my part, knowing some members of both organizations, I felt like a fish in the water.
I take this opportunity to tell you that my next book is about to come out: "Son, grandson
of a worker ..."
Congratulations to the organization and the total investment of the comrades of AL and the
CGA of Auvergne.
