About one million Kyrgyz citizens work in Russia. These are people who are engaged in hard
work: locksmiths and electricians of the housing and communal services, garbage men,
landscapers, drivers, factory workers, shopkeepers. It would not be an exaggeration to say
that the well-being of Muscovites is largely ensured by them. There are many Kyrgyz in
other cities. I often communicate with them. I personally like the Kyrgyz - light,
sociable, smiling people. Their smiling politeness should not be misleading: they can be
fierce, gathering in large groups and overthrowing the regime. (By the way, those who
think that the Kyrgyz can be easy prey for nationalist attacks are making a big mistake.)
Several times already, the Kyrgyz at home swept away the police and replaced the
authorities in Bishkek. This led to the fact that the state in Kyrgyzstan abandoned
dictatorial methods and, in general, turned out to be extremely weak. Power structures
there can do little - except to arrest a drunk. Meanwhile, the Kyrgyz workers, tired of
political revolutions, show no interest in them and no longer see any sense in them for
themselves. Having achieved the maximum possible during the politically colored riots,
they lost all interest in public life. To the latest events in their homeland, where one
president tried to arrest another, and seems to have done it successfully on the second
attempt (for the first time, supporters of the former president repulsed the police
special forces attack with a hail of stones and shots in the air), they are indifferent.
They say people don't care and almost no one cares. Kyrgyz workers are tired of political
revolutions. (However, he also met those who sympathize with the former president.)

We do not know whether (and if so, when) the social movement in Kyrgyzstan will go towards
the formation of permanent assemblies (kurultai) at the place of residence and place of
work, meetings that determine living conditions directly in the interests of the working
people themselves. Those people with whom I spoke express a skeptical attitude towards
such an opportunity. But who knows...

In Russia, some people disdain the Kyrgyz people, who do all the dirty work in the
capitals. To me, the Kyrgyz seem to be those who deserve respect and sympathy. Did they do
what they did in their homeland? I will refrain from commenting.

The far right will be mobilising in London again on Saturday 24th August. On 3rd August
they marched in central London, gathering outside the BBC to demand Tommy Robinson (real
name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon) be released from prison. Militant anti-racists and
anti-fascists were there to oppose them, and London Anti-Fascist Assembly (LAFA) led a
group of several hundred to directly oppose the fascists outside Portland Place. Groups of
fascists who broke through police lines to confront the counter demo were chased away.
However, the far right mob ran riot after the demo, shouting racist chants, hurling abuse
at people of colour they believed to be Muslims, and attacking a demonstration being held
by Sudanese revolutionaries.
Tommy Robinson and the far right will use whatever trick they can to stoke fear and hatred
in the population. In the current climate they feel empowered and safe to openly express
Islamophobia, but below the surface is a wider ideology of racism, sexism and xenophobia.
Instead of unifying against the real causes of oppression and inequality in society here
and around the world, the far right work to split the working class and support the rich
and powerful. Tommy's cult is a shadow of what it was a year ago, so let's finish it off
and protect our communities from hate!

Join us as we hit the streets (again!). We will celebrate our belief in empathy, equality
and freedom for all. Let's show the far right that London will not tolerate their bigotry.

LONDON IS ANTIFASCIST!

(Meet up point and time will be announced closer to the date)

What I am writing is: the situation of immigrants in  police station that those immigrants
who were detaine with me there, asked me to write and publish it ---- It's like that we
dosen't exist, some of us are here from 3 months ago, the first day that cops arrested us
and moved us here, they took criminal fingerprint of us and detaine us until now, without
addressing us anymore about our needs ---- Every day, every hour, we are asking cops that
we need to have asylum but the cops don't care about it, they says lie to us that we have
called Petrou rali detention center just now and it's not our mistakes, this is petrou
rali detention center that doesn't pick the phone up or petrou rali is busy and The food
is very very bad and not enough for us; some of us have experienced to try to kill himself
and some of us will do it very soon because we are tired and maybe this is the only way
that cops will bring us out of here at least for a while We don't have money here and it's
very expensive to call outside of here by telephone card, 4 euros for almost 4 minutes
call Most of us are alone in greece, we miss our families, we miss sun because the prison
only has one window to see outside and in front of this window, there is a building which
doesn't allow sun to touch our skin
We need people who are outside to help us, to care about us, yes it's true that on the
paper we doesn't exist but the fact is that we exist

??th August, when the cops moved me to the court for the trial, the first view that I have
seen, was a court full of immigrants. When I spoke with some them, I realized that the
only reason of their presence here is: first they dosen't look like Europeans so the cops
stopped them to search because in the racism opinions of the system, your skin color is
enough to accuse you for being criminal; second the immigrants don't had a legal proof to
proof that they exist

I said my political statement in a court, which the immigrants were under the racism
insulting behavior of cops, front of the court's eyes; I said it when the cops who
murdered 15 years old Alexis grigoropoulos still were arm with guns; I said it when a few
days ago, the court release his murder; I said it when the judges were looking at my eyes
and saying lie that court and cops behave in a similar way with greeks and immigrants; I
said it when it was very clear that the presence of immigrants in the court was part of
state's plan to criminalize the identity of being immigrants; This trial was a good
example for the bourgeois justice, it's better to read injustice

It wasn't a personal statement, it was a common pain and common problem of these classes
of society who are oppressed by authority

The political line in the coming maelstrom of Brexit events is now clear: ---- We must
support the speaker John Bercow's defence of parliament against Boris Johnson's attempt to
pro-rogue it and force through a no deal Brexit in its absence. Allied to this should be
the arrest of Johnson for treason in his attempt to by-pass the queen's government.
Treason can only be against the crown. The arrest of Bercow and Cummings should be carries
out by the mass march on October 12th. ---- There are many similarities with Speaker
Lenthall's defence of parliament against Charles 1st. - the king who Johnson aspires to be

In Moscow, at the end of August 10, plainclothes police officers arrested the anarchist
Alexei Polikhovich on his way home from Russia's largest opposition demonstration since
2011. A local Moscow court formally charged Alexei with "petty hooliganism" and sentenced
him to 13 days in jail. The arrest stemmed from a combative and passionate speech Alexei
gave to thousands in Moscow that day. You can follow updates on his legal status here. We
consider it especially important to support Russian anarchists in view of the recent slew
of torture cases in Russia and the other risks that dissidents face there. Likewise, we
consider international solidarity between anti-authoritarian and anti-capitalist movements
to be the only hope for humanity, in contrast to all liberals, nationalists, and supposed
leftists who throw in their lot with one faction of the global ruling class or another.

Alexey Polikhovich speaking at the demonstration of August 10 in Moscow
(with English subtitles).

The massive rally on August 10 was the culmination of weeks of both
authorized and unauthorized demonstrations in Moscow and elsewhere
around Russia. The wave of demonstrations began on July 20, when 20,000
people gathered in Moscow to demand "fair" and "clean" local elections.
A slew of liberal opposition candidates have been barred from running in
the Moscow elections coming up on September 8. The July 20 demonstration
was called to oppose what the opposition sees as collusion between the
ruling United Russia Party, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, President
Vladimir Putin, and their allies to prevent liberal opposition
candidates from running.

While July 20 was large but rather quiet, one week later, on July 27, an
unauthorized protest in front of Moscow City Hall took a different turn.
Between 1000-1200 people were arrested out of a crowd of 3500, which
included 700 journalists. The heavy-handed brutality against the
demonstrators by the Moscow special police forces, the OMON, was nothing
particularly new. Neither was the array of absurd charges, some carrying
heavy fines and others potential jail time, that the Russian state doled
out.

Surely this added to both the anxiety and resolve of those who gathered
on August 3 for another unauthorized opposition protest, at which
another 1000 people were detained. Footage circulated widely on social
media showing the brute force of Moscow's OMON.

Regardless of the liberal politics of the Russian opposition, these
circumstances render the impetus for Alexei's speech self-evident.
Below, we present the text of Alexei's speech that he posted on the
internet prior to the demonstration.

Glossary
For the benefit of those outside Russia, here is a brief guide to some
of the references Alexei Polikhovich makes in his speech.

Bolotnaya Square Case - The Bolotnaya Square Case stemmed from the
Russian opposition movement of 2011-2012, in which hundreds of thousands
of people participated. On May 6, 2012, the "March of Millions" ended
with clashes in Bolotnaya Square in Moscow. A number of people were
arrested, including Alexei Polikhovich and anti-fascist Alexei Gaskarov.
This made the Bolotnaya Square Case synonymous with the struggle to free
Russian political prisoners.

Berkut - The Berkut were the infamous riot police in Kyiv, Ukraine loyal
to the regime of Russian-supported Viktor Yanukovich, responsible for
policing and using lethal force against protestors during the Euromaidan
uprising in 2013-14.

Commander Sergei Kusyuk - A former Berkut officer who oversaw operations
against Euromaidan, Sergei Kusyuk is now working with the OMON in Moscow
and was seen at one of the recent protests.

Ivan Golyunov - Russian police sparked a movement when they arrested the
journalist Ivan Golyunov under false pretenses, planting drugs on him.
His investigation into the corruption behind the Moscow funeral business
sparked the police-mafia collusion leading to his false arrest. After
considerable outcry, he was eventually released. He has become a
symbolic figure for the opposition.

Alexei Navalny - Alexei Navalny is Russia's most famous
opposition/anti-corruption activist. As a liberal, he flirts with
right-wing nationalism, and has produced famous investigations into
Russian politicians and oligarchs revealing their unscrupulous earnings.
He is able to mobilize a large base; as a consequence, he is regularly
arrested for his opposition activities.

Alexei Polikhovich was jailed as a political prisoner in the Bolotnaya
Square Case.

Alexei Polikhovich's Speech
Hello everyone.

My name is Alexei Polikhovich, and I spent three years, three months,
and three days in prison because of the Bolotnaya Square riot. I was
imprisoned for grabbing the hands of a riot cop who was beating
protesters. And now I'm standing in front of you because I am furious.

I am furious that history is repeating itself. I am furious because
anonymous people in helmets, masks, and armor are beating defenseless
people on the streets of Moscow. They are beating them again and again
they will go unpunished. I am furious that Moscow is occupied by these
storm troopers who consider us all enemies of Russia.

I saw them. I saw a man in a helmet with a baton furiously beating
someone who was lying on the ground and screaming. I saw hordes of those
people in helmets attacking people who were standing there peacefully.
The only thing that was dangerous on July 27 was the law enforcement
officers. They alone.

They learned to beat us-and then they learned to play victim in the
courts and say how they were injured by a thrown plastic cup or from the
touch of our warm, tender hands, just like they hurt from the chant
"Cops are Shame of Russia." They cry in their anonymous cowardly
Telegram channels that they are the real Russian men and we are paid
provocateurs. Hey men, what is it like to play victim in the courts
against students, graduate students, bloggers, TV directors, volunteers?
What will your children say about these stories when they grow up? Your
children will hate you. Children of cops-hate cops!

I am furious that once every seven years, the ship of the Investigative
Committee sails into Moscow and whisks young people away to the Cretan
labyrinth like a sacrifice to the Minotaur. To insure that
Athens-Moscow-remains a peaceful city of barbecue festivals. So that the
fugitives and traitors of Berkut can safely practice fencing with batons
on our bodies. So that Colonel Kusyuk can still wear his mustache on our
land and command the crackdowns on peaceful demonstrations.

They come every seven years to sacrifice us. And so it is. Today I am
furious and want you to feel the outrage too. I want you-all of us-to
become Ariadne for the thirteen guys who have already been imprisoned in
the riot case so far. I believe that we can handle it. After[the case
of Ivan]Golunov, I believe that we have the strength to throw down a
thread that will guide them out of the labyrinth of prisons, courts, and
police brutality.

How many people are here now? Many thousands. I want to see these
thousands under the windows of the Basmanny Court[the court that
ordered the arrests]-here, we are very close to the Basmanny Court. I am
not a supporter of Navalny, I do not believe in elections, I am just a
Russian anarchist. A simple Russian man. I want us to shout to all the
Kusyuks, the Moscow election commission, riot police, cops, judges, and
bureaucrats. You are crazy fucks! They are crazy fucks! They are crazy
fucks!

Support the people in prison. Come home and write a letter to them in
jail. Donate money for food and the lawyer fees. Find the person with a
donation box in the crowd now-it is my accomplice from the Bolotnaya
case, Volodya Akimenkov-give him funds for political prisoners. Talk
about it and go to the court; the protests beneath the windows of the
court should never stop.

Remember their names. Remember their names-not as the names of victims
or heroes, but as the names of your friends who will be home soon. Shout
them out:

Alexey Minyailo
Vladislav Barabanov
Kirill Zhukov
Egor Zhukov
Ivan Podkopaev
Samariddin Radzhapov
Evgeny Kovalenko
Sergey Abanichev
Daniel Conon
Sergey Fomin
Aydar Gubaidulin
Danila Begletz
Dmitry Vasiliev
Pavel Ustinov

We affirm Alexei's courage against the brutally repressive Russian state.

The widespread destruction and plunder of the natural environment worldwide, with
far-reaching consequences for the entire planet, is the result of the state's long and
vicious attack on capitalism and exploitation and domination over nature and human
societies. Deforestation, sea contamination, polar ice melting, climate change, global
warming, shrinking biodiversity, and the disappearance of a large number of animal species
are just some of the parts of the global marginal environmental crisis that capitalist
aggression. Specifically in Greece, this attack has escalated in recent years, with a
series of devastating, small and large, projects both in the countryside and in cities. In
addition to the major criminal projects being undertaken today, such as the Submarine Dam
in Acheloos and the open gold mines in Halkidiki, a number of other destructive nature and
local planning societies are already being announced and are being attempted in numerous
parts of the country: the installation of wind industrial zones in all mountainous
complexes, such as Agrafa, the giant "HELIOS" photovoltaic industrial zones program, the
construction of hundreds of substations on rivers and streams, the delivery of innumerable
extraction to devolve habitats in the tourist industry, the mining of hydrocarbons in
marine and land areas throughout the territory of the Greek territory, etc. Anti-social
and destructive plans for nature, which will be at the forefront of state and capitalist
propaganda and aggression,

The case of the dams and diversion of the Acheloos River is a pre-election commitment of
all governments and a longing for local capital, tsiflades and local Thessalians from the
1960s onwards. Completion of the Pharaoh's works in the Acheloos Valley and the greater
Pindos area will result in the permanent destruction of the river throughout its entire
length from its upper reaches in the southern Pindos, plundering mountain valleys, natural
ecosystems and human settlements (such as village of Mesochora Trikala) in the mud of
artificial reservoirs of PPC, up to the vulnerable delta of its estuaries in the Ionian
Sea where unique aquatic habitats are formed.

In the last decade, the work has been shaken at a central political level, and within the
last four years the SYRIZA-ANEL government, fully aligned with the neoliberal anti-social
pillaging policies of the natural world and the world of work imposed by all previous
governments and governments, - which includes the completion of the Sub-projects and their
privatization -, signed the final decision on the operation of the Mesochora Dam, setting
a timetable for the completion of the project. river blockage and submarine operation The
plant in July 2019. A year later, after the July 7 elections, the neo-liberal New
Democracy government has nothing but to implement and implement these decisions, within in
the context of a wider restructuring,

As an Anarchist Political Organization-Federation of Collections, we are hostile to any
state-capitalist intervention in the natural world. That is, in any intervention aimed at
exploiting it, by looting and destroying it. Even when this intervention appears as an
alternative, "green", sustainable, etc., it serves the same speculative perception of the
natural world, expanding its control and exploitation into new fields, renewing the
ideological framework of capitalist development, and perpetuating it. of the system of
sovereignty of the state and of capital over nature and man.

We stand clearly against the aggression of the state and the capital, the PPC and the
major construction companies that are launching the catastrophe of Acheloos and local
communities.

We support the mobilizations of the Autonomous Struggle Meeting, realizing that
self-organized and mediated struggle from below is the only realistic prospect today for
defending the natural world and society at large. This struggle must today, more than any
other time, empower the streets, socialize, become radicalized and embrace all the
individual resistances that arise at various points where state-capitalist aggression is
manifested, setting up an embankment against growth , in a central choice of power, such
as dam and diversion of the river Acheloos.

AGAINST STATE OF NATURE AND SOCIETY BY THE STATE AND CAPITAL

GAME FOR EARTH AND FREEDOM WINS ACHELOS!

THE MESHOOR IS LOOKING! TO REMOVE THE DAM!
