More than 100 people, mostly migrants, were arrested early Monday morning in occupied
spaces as part of a large police operation in the Exarchia district of Athens. ----
Several dozen agents evicted at least four occupied refugee and migrant homes in this
anarchist neighborhood of the Greek capital. ---- Kyriakos Mitsotakis' new right-wing
government has vowed to "put in order" Exarchia by sending police to the neighborhood.
---- This neighborhood in the heart of Athens is the scene of numerous anarchist projects
and frequent clashes between anarchist groups and law enforcement officials, particularly
after the death of young anarchist Alexis Grigoropoulos at the hands of a police officer
in 2008, which led to several days of turmoil. ---- In late July, the officer convicted of
Alexis' death was released after a sentence reduction.
The new mayor of Athens, Costas Bakoyannis, who took office on Sunday, also vowed to make
security his main goal, accusing the previous government of "tolerance" against the
vandalism of certain anarchist groups.
Solidarity is our weapon. They will not pass!
Coming soon updates.

Yellow vests in France continue to protest against the neoliberal policies of President
Macron's regime. On August 17, performances within the framework of the "40th Act" took
place in Paris, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Longlavil and other cities. On August 24, protesters
again took to the streets, roads, and crossroads of France to remind them that they would
not back down from their demands. ---- In Paris, protesters marched in the "41st Act" of
the protest from the Bir Hakeheim metro along the boulevards across Italy Square to the
Campo Fermio metro station. The participants clearly expressed their intention not to give
up, not to retreat, and not to stop speaking out against the regime. Among them were
"yellow vests" and doctors who are fighting for their rights. They chanted: "Macron is at
war with us, the police too"; "Too hot for tear gas"; "Everyone despises the police"; "Who
owns the street? It's ours"; "Work, consume and shut up"; "We are here"; "Anti, anti,
anti-capitalist"; "Police are everywhere - justice is nowhere"; "National Police - Capital
Police"; "Paris, get up, get up!".
During the procession, it was repeatedly stopped and delayed by the police, which caused
outrage among people
(https://blogs.mediapart.fr/ceinna-coll/blog/250819/gj-acte-xli-paris-24082019).
Periodically, there were moments of confrontation face to face with the police, but there
were no serious incidents ( https:
//www.gj-magazine.com/gj/acte-41-les-videos-des-tensions-avec-les -... ) The main police
forces these days were thrown south to Biarritz, where a meeting of the heads of 7
industrialized states took place. Only 1,000 police officers were mobilized in the capital
(https://www.gj-magazine.com/gj/acte-41-les-videos-des-tensions-avec-les-forces-de-lordre-a-paris/
)
In Toulouse, protesters gathered at Jean Jaures and moved to the central square of the
Capitol, this time, with the consent of the police. The police behaved with restraint and
there were no clashes. A number of transport routes in the city had to be canceled.
Demonstrations also took place in Bourg-en-Bresse and other cities (
https://www.ladepeche.fr/2019/08/24/actes-41-des-gilets-jaunes,8374438.php ). Placed at
toll stations in various parts of the country, the yellow vests continued the practice of
free passage of cars on toll roads.
In Montpellier, hundreds of protesters took part in a nightly rally under the slogans
against Macron and police violence. Demonstrators gathered at Comedy Square, speaking
"against the system," "against the policy of injustice," and "the top seven." During the
speeches, clashes with the police using tear gas occurred

Yellow Vests announced their support for protests against the Summit 7 (

The protests were not without clashes. On the evening of August 24, police used tear gas
and water cannons against protesters in Bayonne. Protesters marched through the streets
chanting to the thunder of drums: "Everyone hates the police," "The police are killing
us." Stones flew in the guards of the capitalist order, and clashes began. About 70
demonstrators detained. Several police officers were injured

A demonstration of black block blocs in the city of Bayonne against the G7 summit in
neighboring Biarritz ended in a clash between about 300 protesters and police on Saturday
(24/08). ---- Some of the protesters threw bottles, stones, flags and other objects at the
police, who responded first with tear gas and then with water jets. According to local
media, 68 people have been detained by police, and 38 are still in custody. ---- Hundreds
of agents who had been sent to Bayonne to try to prevent possible disturbances
participated in Saturday's operation. ---- The subprefecture established a security
perimeter in the city, with identification controls for those arriving at it. Many
merchants closed the shops, fearing they would be damaged during protests.

Today, on August 24, 2019, the mayor of Paris, a member of the Socialist Party (the one of
the non-intervention in Spain in 1936 and much more bullshit since ...), The Minister of
Justice (who had been represented by one of his subordinate ), the Ambassador of the
Kingdom of Spain (born of the military rebellion led by Caudillo Franco), the family (we
cannot blame them), not forgetting the ineffable Aimable Marseillan (who arrived late)
inaugurated the Parc "Federica Montseny" in Paris . ---- On the plaque that was unveiled
we read "Federica Montseny: libertarian writer". Surely the word "Anarchist" would have
torn their eyes ... ---- Federica didn't like honors very much, especially officials and
republican's ones ... The best tribute paid to her that day was without a doubt the dozen
of police vans and the police detachment that protected the bank window next to the
ceremony . By chance that Federica's ghost would come to join the ceremony. Surely that,
even if they are dead and buried under honors, the Power is still afraid of anarchists. He
feels obligated to organize exorcism rituals to integrate these demons into the republican
and democratic pantheon.
Fortunately, there were some voices to shout out loud to this whole little world:
neither monarchy nor republic, long live anarchy!
Federica presente!

Murderer Greek State continues its attacks aganist anarchists and the opressed ones. The
government, which previously took the first step in attacking anarchists by releasing
Alexis' murderer police; today attacked with their armbands to the occupation houses in
Exarchia. Exarchia is the neigborhood of resistance and built by anarchists in athens.
Leader of the New Democracy Party (nea dimokratia) Kiriakos Micotakis who was elected as a
result of Greek General Elections, threatening anarchists and made it clear that they would
work to make Exarchia clean from anarchists and become a state and capitalism friendly
neighborhood. ---- Around 06:00 this morning, 4 of the occupation houses in Exarchia where
thousands of anarchists and immigrants lived were evacuated by the police. Hundreds of
anarchists and immigrants were detained and sent to concentration camps after this attack
on the areas of solidarity and resistance of anarchists and oppressed people. In Exarchia,
when state attacks to against the culture of rebellion and solidarity continue to
increase; while the living spaces of the oppressed people are being destroyed by the state
and its law enforcement agencies; As the Revolutionary Anarchist Action, we salute the
struggle and resistance of our comrades in the neighborhood where the self-organization
and political activities of the oppressed people are concentrated in Greece . It is the
solidarity and resistance of the oppressed people which will make the fascists step back
and make them lose.
Long Live Anarchism! Long Live Revolution!

We've had a bit of radio silence for a spell as we are cooking up Organise 92 which will
be sent out very early September and hopefully be ready for the Dorset and Bradford Bookfairs.
Make sure your address is correct and maybe consider upping your subscription so that we
can provide solidarity copies for free to prisoners, libraries and protest camps as well
as helping to keep the cost down for everyone.
This edition will be 64 full colour pages of articles, news, and reviews. It has a
thematic lean towards brexit and International issues, ecology and gaming.
