The seals are killed by first getting separated from their mothers, then either being struck with a club or shot point blank. The babies must be so scared in those last moments of their lives, away from their mothers, obviously facing danger. But sometimes the first blow doesn't even kill them, meaning they are slowly bludgeoned to death by merciless humans in order to finish the job.
They are literally killing baby seals just to cut off their genitals and sell them. These poor baby seals and their grieving families don't deserve the terror and tragedy they are experiencing and we have the power to save them from it.
Namibian authorities say it's a necessary cull, but that's debatable. What's not debatable is that the cruel way these babies are murdered is inhumane. This is the largest murder of marine animals on the planet and we must stop it.
