In May, the professional elections at the factory took place in a context of anxiety:
persistent rumors of changing rates, with deletions of posts at the key. Rumor confirmed a
week after the elections, once management found that the yellow unions remained in the
majority. ---- On May 21, at the Georges-Besse plant, elections were held to the Social
and Economic Council (SSC), the new body merging CE, DP and CHSCT. Overall, there is a
reduction in the number of elected members and hours of delegation. Employees and unions
have many questions about the consequences of this loss of means. How will the CSE work ?
---- Fewer delegates on the ground to monitor violations of the Labor Code, this is the
door to increased abuse and accidents. Especially in the elections, the clientelist unions
(FO, CFDT) remain in the majority against the wrestling unions (CGT and SUD).
In the 1 st college (workers, workers and employees), FO fell by almost 4 points but
remain in the majority with 32.46 % (6 seats). SUD fell by 3 points to 23.2 %, and was
doubled by the CFDT (23.5 8%): 5 seats each. The CGT goes back a little, with 18,27 % (+
3 points) and gets 3 seats. The CFTC has a ceiling of 2.46 %.
In the 2 nd college (supervisory agents), the GSC is leading with 46.37 % (-9 points)
and 3 seats. Next FO (18.64 %, + 2 points), the CFDT (17.41 %, + 4 points), 1 seat each.
The CGT (9.39 %, +3 points) and SUD (5.23%, -2 points) do not get any seat. In the 3 rd
college (executives), the GSC has 2 seats.
In September, Finish the 2 × 8
The decline of SUD compared to the 2014 elections corresponds to a general decline in
combativeness: strikes less followed, thus less calls for the strike in recent years. The
CGT progresses but unfortunately it is probably not for its combativeness, also at half
since the fight against Labor laws.
A few days after this result, the management announced, during an extraordinary EC, a
great reorganization of the work. In September, finished the 2 × 8. The assembly building
(the " DA ") will turn on a single team at 60 vehicles / hour against two teams
alternately at 35 vehicles / hour currently. The issue of stamping and sheet metal
production rates will be discussed at the next EC.
We were not too surprised. The hallway noises about it were so loud that, despite the
deafening roar of the machines, they had reached our ears ! We could be happy to get up
later ... The problem is that the numbers will be cut. More than 570 temporary workers
already know their fate.
As for the operators, they know that positions will deteriorate, especially with a CSE
with fewer delegates. But the workloads are already legion here, causing sickness stops,
and even a suicide in January. We could almost say that in this jail, we produce as much
Cotorep as vehicles ...

On the 24th of August members of the Anarchist Federation, as part of the London
Anti-Fascist Assembly (LAFA), marched against an abortive "Free Tommy" demonstration. This
was the second mobilisation of the month (read our report on the first one here) and the
strain of attempting two marches in one month was showing on both sides. However, LAFA
still managed to get about 150 people gathered at Oxford Circus before marching off to
Portland Place to meet the far right demonstration there. ---- When we got there, the far
right presence was only a small band of diehards, which grew later as another tiny far
right march from Trafalgar Square linked up with them. Even with the Trafalgar mob, LAFA
had them outnumbered, and the anti-fascist presence was further bolstered by an 80 strong
march from Stand Up To Racism which joined us later.
As usual, the police were the most dangerous threat to anti-fascism and they devoted
significant resources to keeping us contained. They pushed us away from the Tommy
supporters and ended up kettling us on the pavement opposite the "Free Tommy"
demonstration and mostly kept the two sides separate, although the far right did throw
some flares and some Nazi salutes at us.
They day was mostly uneventful until we went to leave. At that point the police attacked
our bloc without provocation and arrested three anti-fascists, although the "Free Tommy"
demonstration also took four arrests for various acts on boneheadery. Luckily there were
no serious injuries on our side as far as I know despite the heavy handed police response.
Aside from police brutality the main threat on the day was the heat, with temperatures as
high as high as 29C. We must give thanks to QueerCare again for providing medics to make
sure everyone survived the heat as well as the police repression.
The far right showing was dismal compared to their last march in London on the 3rd of
August, let alone the huge numbers they pulled last summer. This "Free Tommy"
demonstration looked more like the motley band of cranks that characterised the far right
after the disintegration of the English Defence League than the mass movement they seemed
to be building last year.
But we cannot be complacent, several things were against the far right on the 24th that
might mean this drop in numbers is only temporary. Firstly, they screwed up their
mobilisation horribly, cancelling it before attempting to remobilise unofficially.
Secondly, marching twice in a month is always an organisational stretch, and many of the
supporters from outside of London may have stayed away. Lastly, the hot weather probably
discouraged some people, especially the far right football hooligans who would have to
choose between watching the games on at the time in a nice cool pub or marching around
getting sunburn in central London.
However, the short gap between this and the last march, the difficulty in organising
against the far right when they themselves do not know what they are doing, and the heat
also made this a hard mobilisation for LAFA. Ultimately we outnumbered and out organised
the "Free Tommy" crowd on the day and hopefully we can do it again in October, when the
next march in London is likely to happen.

After the Ostrava-based Food not Bomb (FNB) team issued its statement on the persecution
of its activities by the local town hall and city police, some media also became
interested. The Wave attorney addressed by Radio Wave said the excuse for occupying the
site was absolutely odd. Since then, there has been no further harassment of FNB
activists, and the dozens of those in need were able to get warm meals every Sunday. Even
though the city police were choking on activists against committing a new offense on
Sundays, the police officers were satisfied with watching satisfied eaters from the bowels
of the service van and were not seen at all on weekends. Officials and townsfolk
inadvertently played a great role in promoting the FNB initiative and its principles.
Among the most striking events in support of the Ostrava team was the beneficial folk
cuisine held on Monday, August 5, in the bowels of the Prague Salé infoshop . From five
o'clock in the afternoon until the evening there were 60 people. Some just folded and
swallowed a beneficial vegan burger and signed a petition, while others waited for the
Solidarity in Practice screeningand an informal discussion with representatives of FNB
Ostrava. A group of about 40 people then made a joint photograph with banners "Food not
Bombs", "Support FNB Ostrava" and for the current international scope "Support Rojava".
The proceeds from the whole event were donated to legal assistance and other necessities
for the Ostrava group, which said about the solidarity event: "Many people met with a
mindset similar to ours and we are very grateful for this amazing atmosphere and the whole
event, solidarity in FNB groups that is, what keeps us together despite any repression. "

Dumfries, the first place in Scotland to have an anti-tyranny demo against Johnson's
proroguing plans. I got there very late, but there was still a good raucous crowd and an
excellent reception from passers-by. Certainly crushed some stereotypes as there was
support from lads in Rangers' tops mixing with Scottish Independence supporters.... Then
some ne'er-do-wells went and plastered Tory secretary of State's constituency office... ?
Well done Lauren and her crew for coordinating a lively, active demo in less than 24
hours... Defeating Johnson isn't near enough - we need real forms of democracy (in all is
diverse, fluid and inclusive forms) and that needs resources distributed in radically
different ways than today - but seeing Johnson go will be a start...

What is the name of your anarchist group? When did your group begin actively organizing in
Belarus? What have you done so far (we understand & respect omissions due to security
issues)? ---- Our group is called Pramen (Belarusian «The ray»). The major direction of
our work is online and offline propaganda of our ideas. We issue brochures and stickers
for further distribution, have website and a net of blogs in a most popular Belarusian
social media. It is quite hard to measure the results of our activities, but since we've
formed (December, 2015), we have issued and distributed several thousands of anarchist
brochures and stickers, also we've written tens of practical instructions for activists
and political analytics. The core issue of our project is that we try to go out for a more
wide auditory, thus we try make our texts and propaganda more interesting for common people.
What other anarchist groups are active in Belarus besides yourselves? Do you have a
specific anarchist tendency?
The other active groups are: Volnaya dumka ("The free thought") anarchist library, The
Really Free market, Food not bombs, Anarchist Black Cross - Belarus, and our group.
What is the history of anarchism in Belarus? How long has anarchism been in Belarus? What
is the timeline of anarchism there?
Anarchism was quite popular in Belarusian territories in the beginning of 20th century.
One of the industrial cities - Belastok, was highly influenced by anarchists, who
organized regular expropriations of food by the crowds of workers, and assassinated many
policeman and bourgeoisie. The last anarchist groups in Belarus are spotted in the end of
1920s, later on they all were destroyed by the Bolsheviks.
Anarchism started to revive in Belarus in the end of 1980-s, along with Perestroika in
USSR begun.
The first anarchist group "Borba" (The struggle) was created in Gomel in October, 1991.
Hard times came for Belarus after the dictator Lukashenko came to power in 1994. He is in
power until now.
Anarchist movement was mostly subcultural or artist-performance issue until 2006-2007 when
groups of subcultural anarchist youth started to organize in more political way and make
political demands. The first time anarchists came to a stage of a public life was
November, 2007, when we've participated in the protest rally against cutting social
benefits in Belarus. We had a great fight with neonazis, which made us visible for a wide
audience and exposed us to a general public.
During 2008-2009 anarchist movement experienced a rapid growth. On a sanctioned rallies we
were gathering Black Block as big as 120-130 ppl
After a number of direct actions, conducted by our comrades against state and buiseness
building in 2008-2010, the government started a huge crackdown on the movement in
September, 2010. Around 100 anarchists and people who have links with them were arrested
or interrogated. Finally, 5 of anarchists were accused in "hooliganism", "setting arson"
and other similar articles and three of us were sentenced to a prison terms: three, four
and a half, and eight years. Other two started collaborated with cops, became a traitors
and got a minor terms in a open-type correctional facilities.
After 2010 crackdown the movement was disintegrated and in some extent paralyzed for about
3 years, when certain revival started. Since 2013 the anarchist movement, because of the n
number of direct actions, participating in long-standing social initiatives (Freemarket,
Food not bombs), because of high presence in independent media and in social media, and
also because of enduring attempts to organize and radicalize protests in Belarus stands in
a focus of an attention of a repressive structures. Many laws were adopted almost solely
because of the anarchists activity, which was even openly stated by the high-ranked state
officials.
By now the number of the active anarchists in Belarus varies around 40-50 ppl.
What are your international activities (we understand & respect omissions due to security
issues)?
We mostly communicate with foreign comrades regarding spreading the info about state
repressions and mutual help in these cases. Sometimes comrades from Russia and Ukraine com
to Belarus to physically support protests, but in Belarusian and Russian authorities have
rather strict laws regarding migration and many of such attempts end with a deportation of
comrades.
What is your opinion about Rojava (Democratic Federation of Northern Syria) in Syria?
We consider Rojava an important social experiment in an anarchist direction and a real
example of wide revolutionary self-governing, which we all aim to. We appreciate and
express all support to comrades from different countries who went there to fight ISIS and
died, while supporting Kurdish people and defending their revolution.
In the same time we see, that, as many other revolutionary tries, Rojava is not ideal, and
some tendencies within the community (activity of banks, strengthening of the centralized
authorities, mono-party system) are alarming.
Can you provide a link or write a summary of Belarusian anarchist history for our readers?
By now there are only 5 works, which are, in some extent, shed light to history of
anarchism in Belarus. All of them are in Russian or Belarusian.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mC6Ma444HFSCCbYUEKWXu7hoe14g9VOW/view?fbclid=IwAR0AtpX5fhobhkEA2IZ1pEar5R7AFHOdHotAe88qfmj1ep0zkcZTlOQ6rbs

How would you define anarchism and what do you see as the tendencies in it?
In Belarus overwhelming majority of anarchists are anarcho-communists by ideological bias.
We also have some anarcho-feminists, eco-anarchists and lifestlye anarchists. The latter,
however, are not engaged in political activity
What are your political alternatives? Do you really have an alternative to the state
government?
By now we do not have a living and real alternative because of apparent reasons: numerical
and organizational weakness, lack of resources etc. But it will be correct to say that
what we preparing to is some kind of Maydan (analog of Ukrainian revolution) in Belarus,
when we could organize and say our word among liberals and nationalists (who are the
mainstream political opposition), making the upcoming revolution more social and
self-organizing
How many political prisoners are there in Belarus? Does Belarus have the death penalty?
There are 10 political prisoners in Belarus right now. These are human right defenders,
football fans, engaged in political activity, political activists and human right
defenders. Two anarchist also, one is sentenced to 5 years for carrying explosives, and
the other is awaiting trial in jail for self-defence.
Yes, we have death penalty, and roughly 4-5 ppl in a year are executed.
Which other anarchists groups do you maintain communication with (we understand & respect
omissions due to security issues)?
These are Volnaya Dumka library (dumka.be), Anarchist black cross-Belarus
(abc-belarus.org) and Freemarket-Minsk (https://www.facebook.com/reallyfreemarketminsk/)
in Belarus.
It is also Avtonom.org group in Russia and Nihilist.li collective in Ukraine.
What is the political situations in Belarus and what oppressions do you face?
The oppression in Belarus is routine. For now there are 2 anarchist political prisoners.
One is serving his 5-years term for carrying explosives, the other is charged for
hooliganism, vandalism and "igniting social hostility" for posting video against cops in
social media.
The problem Is that almost all active anarchists are known by the cops and controlled very
tightly, which, for example, allows to execute preventive detentions before the political
campaigns: elections, mass sport events with participation of foreigners, etc.
Minor episodes of repressions: fines, new administrative cases, searches or detentions of
anarchists happen almost every week, and these are not excesses, but kind of non-stop process.
Please share anything you would like with our audience, we hope to learn about your
experiences and organizing so we can further our own struggles?
The important thing we want to share is our experience of internal splits and fraud.
Because of relative visibility and certain popularity in media, and also because some
elements of revolutionary romantics within the movement, our community during the period
of growth attracted few people who tended to implement their leader ambitions through the
participation of the anarchist movement. Some gained respect allowed these persons to
gather a number of other anarchists around them, who felt under their influence. This tiny
group tried to become a dominant and the only one in the Belarusian movement, shaming and
insulting comrades who had another tactics, or varying opinion on current issues.
The guy who leaded this process, was caught up on lies, intriguing and threats of physical
to a comrades, while attempting to make his group "the only true anarchist movement in
Belarus", but every time he managed to get out of the accusation because of his authority
and loyality of his inner circle of friends.
As a result, we've had an internal fraud, which lasted for more then 2 years, led to split
between many activists, and made many comrades undertake their effort for dealing with his
fraud, instead off battling the state and capitalism.
Because we did not have a proper mechanism of conflict-resolution in our movement, and
because some of the comrades (former comrades by now) have not shared our values of mutual
respect, equality and dignity (or shared them only in their speeches), instead relying on
fist law and cult of the power, we have came to a situation when the movement become
splitted and weakened. It would not be an exaggeration that this long-lasting fraud
brought us more weakness and demoralisation, then the police reppression.
By now the major instigator of this fraud lost most of his comrades and have little
influence in Belarus. But he still promotes lies, intrigues and hatred against comrades
online, using a number of anonymous accounts.
Some day we will compose this story and analyze it properly, but for now we want to share
our consequences: anarchist movement must have reliable and respectable mechanism of
conflict resolution. Anarchist comrades must have strong moral principles regarding
respect, truthfulness, decency and intolerance towards gossips, lies and intrigues. We
should treat each other as brothers and sisters, and stop any authoritarian tendencies
within the movement.

In a new attack on transgender people, the Department of Justice asked the US Supreme
Court on August 16th to review the definition of gender discrimination and to exclude
transgender people. At the moment transgender people are protected by Article VII of the
Civil Rights Act of 1964. ---- Last month Aimee Stephens won a case against unfair
dismissal. She was sacked in 2013 by a funeral company after she announced her decision to
transition to becoming a woman. The judge decided that she had lost her job because her
employer had a "stereotypical conception" of her sexual identity. ---- The Trump
administration has now hit back with a different reading of Article VII saying that it
prohibits discrimination based on "biological sex" of a person.
As a result of the intervention of the Department of Justice the Supreme Court will now
have to consider any new cases in this light.

The regularity of capitalist barbarism is only undermined by intermediate class struggles
---- The election of New Delhi's self-governing government has begun a period of "new
regularity", as its parliamentary representatives have been enthusiastically proclaiming.
It is, of course, the same and indispensable regularity of capitalism, which entails the
exploitation of class, poverty and misery by many and strangling social control at the
same time that few increase their profits and privileges. The apparent shift of page and
the inauguration of a new era of supposed economic recovery, which tells us that it will
help alleviate the bottom line, is just a common scam that is being systematically used by
the governments in question, including the current government. All that has changed,
however, is the stumbling block in state management of capitalist interests. The ladle of
state power passed from SYRIZA. in the ND, which is committed to continuing the policies
of its predecessors. The TIF is a central station for the new government to carry out its
own fiesta and to receive the greatest possible and most favorable communication
impressions, with the ultimate aim of receiving formal credentials and formal support from
local and supranational capital, whose interests it has undertaken to serve, on the other
hand, to the extent that it can achieve the coveted transactional consensus for the
sovereign, largely through the so-called national development propaganda vehicle.
Before considering the new neoliberal capitalist expansion orchestrated by the ND
government, we must bear in mind that international budgetary supervision will continue at
least until 2060 and surveillance will not end before 75% of public debt is repaid, bloody
primary surpluses that the working class is going to have to fully embrace. In addition,
the sale of public property or more simply privatization will continue through the
Treasury until 2114. These austerity measures are commitments to any government that has
voted for all bourgeoisie. Not one of the 700 Memorandum laws that have been voted on has
been repealed and repealed, not one of the 60,000 Memorandums, nor one of the 300. 000
Ministerial and Implementing Memorandum Decisions. Therefore, we cannot speak of a
post-Memorial period and an exit from the Memorandums, as the previous SYRIZA government
was saying. it imposes a state of imposition of a continuous memorandum, stepping up the
exploitation of labor and the plundering of natural wealth with the aim of increasing
profits for bosses.
Let us now see how the first steps of this government are being delineated in accordance
with its own programmatic statements, which are formulated tangibly through the submission
of relevant bills, in order to be put to the vote in Parliament. Enfia is projected to
drop by 22% on average in 2019. This measure also has some "hidden" class extensions, as
for properties worth 80,000 to 1,000,000 the ENFIA reduction is set at 20% (range) of
value is enormous as one can see), while for properties that exceed € 1,000,000, ENFIA
will be reduced by 10%. At the moment, that is, that 3,488,820 taxpayers with real estate
up to 60,000 will save an average of 55 euros each, 14,706 natural persons with more than
1,000 real estate. EUR 000 will be reduced by an average of EUR 1,775. Mr Mitsotakis
promised a 50% reduction in direct capital taxation and a 20% reduction in corporate tax
in two phases. Dividend taxation is reduced from 10% to 5%, while the corporation tax rate
of 28% is reduced to 24%.
The Minister of Labor, G. Vroutsis, announced further privatization of what was left of
public social insurance, stressing the introduction of the "capitalization system" in
subsidiary insurance and the delivery of insured contributions to private insurance
companies, granting free the insurance companies gambling on supplementary pensions,
without any guarantee of retirement benefits. In addition, over the course of four years,
ND promises to reduce the main pension contribution by 25% from 20% of salary or income to
15%. This means that by reducing insurance contributions by 25%, 16% will directly benefit
employers by reducing employer contributions, while only 9% will return to workers' pockets.
In the diminishing health sector, with 30,000 gaps in public health care structures,
existing government underfunding will continue unabated. At the same time, the government
is in favor of public-private partnerships. In short, primary public health is to feed
private medical centers to complete further diagnostic investigations. The alleged
rationalization of the state-sanctioned public health system through the installation,
maintenance, and operation of private-sector public health care facilities entails direct
and indirect contributions to health care workers. ND will enact PASOK's old law that
stipulates the allocation of public hospital segments for the needs of private insurance
companies. Thus, the squeeze on profit from private capital is intensified through the
remunerated exploitation of productive resources and the workforce of public health
structures. Finally, managers will be introduced in public hospitals, who will adapt them
to the criteria and requirements of private capital, while coordinating the buying and
selling of health services, as is the case in other EU countries. after all. who will
adapt these to the criteria and requirements of private capital, while coordinating the
buying and selling of health services, as in other EU countries. after all. who will adapt
these to the criteria and requirements of private capital, while coordinating the buying
and selling of health services, as in other EU countries. after all.
Capitalist restructuring is also going to hit all levels of education, affecting the
material interests of the economically active (see teachers) and the educated working
class (students, students), sharpening class exclusions in education, undermining
employment the direction of perpetual insecurity, while attempting a direct attack on
class struggles and popular freedoms with the subsequent abolition of university asylum.
ND is pursuing measures to permanently retrain and evaluate teachers in the context of
dismissals and exclusion. It links education levels with the market, business and
volunteering (unpaid work), strengthens the institution of apprenticeships, that is,
unpaid work under the guise of training and specialization in an object. In addition, it
launches exclusions from higher education through the ability of the schools themselves to
set an admission base higher than the minimum, as well as their ability to determine the
number of admissions. A key objective of the government, which has been high on its
repressive agenda, is to abolish university asylum in order to open Aeolus' sack for
suppressing and penalizing class struggles and class student unionism in particular. The
provision of student deletions exceeding n + 2 years of study is intended to further
intensify the pace of study, competition and personalization of students. End, the private
initiative is being expanded to include undergraduate and postgraduate programs of study,
with the aim of serving the interests of business groups. Gradually, the road to
privatization of higher education is opening up. After all, many of the institutions'
functions already fall under the private factor (see the various contractors).
The triptych "law-order-security" and the strengthening of the police state are key
objectives of the ND government. The abolition of university asylum is just the beginning
of the repressive storm. To bolster that agenda, the government announced the hiring of
1,500 Special Forces Specialists, the "release" of 500 police officers from "office"
services to the local security departments, the Delta team's re-establishment, and the
opportunity to constantly boast that will level the Exarchies, turning them into a
militarized police occupation zone, so as to enable their business "refinement", which is
to include their tourist redevelopment, which will be accompanied by rising rental prices
(already renting apartments via the Airbnb platform leads to this effect), evicting
residents and removing Community resistance. The ND government has also pledged to amend
the SYRIZA government vote. Criminal Code, to make its existing provisions even more
authoritarian, the reactionary core of which will leave it untouched, and to move towards
criminalizing and prosecuting class resistances by making photo shoots for the criminal
deterrence of politically motivated acts of mischief. in the forefront of the repressive
treatment of Rubicon, of the collectivism that is a member of the Anarchist Federation,
and of trade union mobilizations. Let's say here, whereas the first publications referring
to the new government's thoughts on enlargement of the anti-terrorist law (187A) have
already been circulated to apply to cases falling within the sphere of activism,
specifically aimed at combating Rubikon's action. Last but not least, among the plans of
state repression is the operation of type C prisons, which prescribe inhumane conditions
of management and tightly supervised detention of prisoners. The sting of the repression
also includes the management of immigrants. The start was made by merging the Ministry of
Migration Policy with that of Citizen Protection with the corresponding racist symbolism
that it has, as it criminalizes immigrants, reinforcing racist social reflections against
them. Then, the previous circular on the granting of immovable property to immigrants was
abolished. This move excludes immigrants from health services, further marginalizing them
and making their living conditions more racist. In the face of intense condemnation, G.
Vroutsis announced the issuance of new directives that would define the procedures for the
extradition of NRMAs to third-country nationals. However, this proclamation has not been
implemented to date, leaving thousands of immigrants without access to health, but also
without the right to register with the OAED (we assume that it is completely coincidental
that this racist exclusion will cause unemployment rates to fall completely!). At the same
time, there are suggestions for an even greater involvement of the Armed Forces in areas
such as immigration, but also on issues of internal security under the guise of
"terrorism". It is noteworthy that the Minister of Citizen Protection, M. Chrysochoidis,
gave his commendation for the largest storehouse of souls in the country, the Moria
Hellas. It was clear from the new government's announcements from day one, moreover, that
the new management of the immigration "issue" would be based on the inhumane confinement
of immigrants into Reception Centers and Detention Centers (a euphemism for their
democratic concentration camps). ).
The so-called "staff state" bill passed in Parliament in late July is set to be one of the
key levers for privatizing public property, as it provides the necessary formal conditions
for overcoming the bureaucratic hurdles that stifle investment. This will accelerate the
sale of public property to prospective crowds of business groups. Mitsotakis announced
that private investment would become a symbol of Greece. PPC, ELPE, Hellenic, Eleftherios
Venizelos Airport will all come out on the hammer. For PPC, the government announced that
"where necessary networks will be privatized" and "once the business is consolidated, a
strategic investor will be sought". 30% of Eleftherios Venizelos airport will be
privatized, the privatization of Hellenic will go ahead immediately and become a flagship
of the government's business plan. The current prime minister said in his speech that
special sections are being set up in the courts, with specialized judges, with the aim of
ND speeding up appeals for the unblocking of "investments".
Following on from the anti-strike law passed by the SYRIZA government, with the tolerance
of the GSEE and ADEDY employers and bureaucratic trade unions, it defines the approval of
a strike by primary associations as a prerequisite for the strike to be approved. With 50%
+ 1 of registered members, the ND government intends to launch a new offensive against the
class union movement. The impending change in the union law concerns the introduction of
electronic voting in the strike proceedings. Following the wishes of the bosses, the new
government aims to remove class resistances and strike mobilizations, moving workers out
of living fermentation with each other and unity with their colleagues in the workplace,

The oppressed and exploited, wherever we are on the map, have nothing to do with each
other. We need to understand the community of our class interests and on this basis
organize our counterattack against those who oppress us and live by our labors. We are not
going to fight for the interests of the local and supranational bosses, we are not going
to fight for any homeland, nor are we to turn the barrels of arms on the proletarians of
other countries, from whom the sovereigns, the invaders, are trying to divide us by any
artificial means. every available solvent of class consciousness (nation, borders,
religion). In the event of war, the world proletariat will be the one that will be forced
to move the war machines of the capitalists by paying the price with the lives of people
in our class. Today, therefore, it is necessary to form an anti-war movement on the basis
of internationalist, class solidarity.
We realize that in order to be able to see meaningful changes in our lives, we must invade
our own evolution and create on our own, relying on our collective forces and class and
internationalist solidarity, intersections and ruptures in our ongoing state of class.
depreciation. So let's start with the immediate steps, which may seem small but definitely
require effort and effort. We need to step up our efforts to rebuild the movement by
densifying the lines of grassroots unions, labor initiatives, class schemes for workers,
retirees, the unemployed, pupils and students, in order to establish a first and foremost
line. defense against attacks on the state and capital, which are significantly
exacerbated in the midst of the international capitalist crisis. We must exacerbate social
and class conflict in every possible area of intervention. Therefore, it is also necessary
to strengthen neighborhood assemblies, anti-fascist networks and co-ordination,
environmental initiatives and movements that oppose gender repression and patriarchy, as
well as the anarchist and anti-authoritarian political groups and organizations themselves.
Today we can fundamentally fight back, but the small steps to rebuild our resistance are
necessary to form a mass social and class movement that will be able to counterattack and
threaten its status and privileges. We are therefore called upon to create, thicken and
strengthen all the necessary structures and organizations of social and class conflict so
as to build the ground that will supply us with tools and mechanisms so that we can
eventually turn our struggle towards a total revolutionary social transformation, towards
a complete reorganization of social and productive relations, inspired by liberal
communism. The class of producers, the poor, the poor, that is, the vast social majority,
that is, we have unrivaled empowerment and potential. After all, we are the ones who,
through our work, move all the gears of a system, which is reproduced through our
exploitation and destitution, in order to enrich the few, the privileged, the capitalists.
It is enough, then, to liberate these emancipatory forces and opportunities that we have,
through our organized and coordinated struggle against state and capital. Either power
will bury us or we will overthrow it. If we do not do the 'impossible', we will face the

An article from an AFed member who spends much of their time in Greece supporting migrant
families. ---- At 5am Monday morning, four squats in Exarchia, Athens were stormed by
police wearing riot gear. Exarchia is a small area in central Athens which has been home
to squats as well as a well known Anarchist community. ---- 143 people, mainly women with
children, were taken to police stations in buses and held there. After 6 hours they were
given 500mls of water and a small bowl of pasta. The last time a squat was evicted like
this, a woman miscarried her baby as a direct result of the stress. Up until now we
haven't heard of any issues like this but the stress on top of existing PTSD is
horrendous. ---- Greek police on the streets of Athens ---- Many of the migrants evicted
have now been taken to closed camps. Not only have they had their freedom and safety taken
away, but they wern't given the time to collect even basic possessions. Children's toys,
essential items like baby formulae and medication have been left behind. The closed camps
offer no guarantee there will even be places sterilise bottles. Illness has spread quickly
in many of the Greek refugee camps due to cramped and unsanitary conditions, these are a
potentially dangerous environment for babies, young children, and vulnerable adults.
This assault by the police is the action of the recently elected New Democracy government,
while its leader Mitsoitakis is at G8 summit. The Stelios Petas, government spokesman
referred to the operation as a vacuuming of the dust of the area.
Clothes and blankets dumped on the street, anarchist squatters rounded up to police
stations, and anyone suspected of not being a citizen taken away to camps.
This reference to human beings, fleeing from Syria, Afghanistan and the like, as less than
human is the typical fascist use of dehumanising language. Golden Dawn in uniform! After
the evictions were over, the police stood around, chatting and drinking coffee. When you
take a person and train them in this way, they lose any connection to the things they do.
People's only belongings are on the streets. Mattresses and bedding, soft toys and books.
All the stuff of life that homeless people manage to gather to create some way of living
has been trashed.
The timing of this assault and eviction comes before the universities return and while
most people leave Athens due to the heat. It isn't surprising at all.
The ND government, in the run up to the elections, promised closed camps for refugees.
Independent organisations are poised, waiting for families to be released. This may not
happen. They may end up in concentration camps, miles from anywhere, left to rot.

On the 20th of September, around the world, hundreds of organisations are coming together
under the banner of Earth Strike to hold a general strike for the climate. ---- As part of
our general activity, some AF members have been involved with Earth Strike UK, either
autonomously or via the Green Anti-Capitalist Front/GAF (Wales), and implicit support has
been given from the AF during various actions. Now, as agreed by our Federal Delegates
Meeting on the 17th of August, the Anarchist Federation endorses and puts our full
organisational support behind Earth Strike. ---- Anarchist Federation helping to launch
Earth Strike in Swindon ---- We have agreed that where we have local organisations they
will support Earth Strike directly, attend the general strike and share the AF's
solidarity with an active presence. Our members in unions and other organisational fronts
will propose backing it to those groups, and those in areas without either a regional of
the AF or any other organisation, are considering starting a GAF group, with one of the
aims being to build for local actions on the 20th (and indeed beyond).
The international demands of the Earth Strike are simple:
* An immediate start on global co-operation to reverse the damage done to the Earth's
climate, through unambiguous and binding agreements, by both world leaders and corporate
entities, following IPCC projections of halving carbon net emissions by 2030 and zero net
emissions by 2050.
* International, unambiguous and binding commitments to halt the destruction of
rainforests and other wildlife habitats.
* International, unambiguous and binding agreements designed to hold corporations
accountable for the greenhouse gases they produce.
We believe the broad support given to Earth Strike by more mainstream organisations, such
as TUC unions, will give more confidence to radical elements within them to organise on a
local level. For all of us it gives us a clear aim to work towards, helping to build
working class solidarity in workplaces and our communities, and strengthening cooperation
amongst activists & organisers.
Earth Strike also makes explicit the links between working class and environmental
struggles, at a time when many would prefer we leave the planet in the hands of upper
class business leaders and toothless middle class NGOs. We must instead use every
opportunity to expand the capacity of the working class and together fight for our planet,
and kill capitalism before it kills us all.
We hope you will join us. However, do not wait for us, use your union or local activist
group to announce participation in your area. Make it happen.
Anyone can start an Earth Strike collective and take action, whether small or large. The
power to stand up for the planet is yours. For more information on how to organise your
workplace and community on the 20th, contact ourselves, your local GAF group or Earth
Strike UK.
