The state of Turkey pursues a new war with its with old policies filled hostility, its
tanks, cannons, fighter jets and warmongers. In the lands we live, the parliment which was
almost never worked after the changes called “Presidential Government System” convened
immediately with the war on their agenda. Hands in the parliment were up for the war. The
ones who expressed “Erdogan leads 80 million people to the disaster” in every opportunity,
did not hesitate to support the war this time. ----- Not even 10 years have passed since
the beginning of the war, in which many states have acquired a place in Syria over time;
The State of Turkey, like many other states, continues to act as if it had no role in
starting and spreading of the war.
With the new missive, the Turkish State decided to re-enter to the geography that it
partly occupies, with the excuse of “protecting its own territorial integrity” . The heads
of state were not ashamed to talk about peace, nor they were ashamed to name the war that
they lead for their own interests, as peace. In the war operation called “Peace Fountain”
warplanes, especially non-discriminating air strikes were put into operation immediately.
All of this has started to take place before the eyes of the states and public opinion
allegedly “condemnating” the Turkish State.
While the US withdraws its troops, it declares that the endless war “ends for them” and
adds that Turkish State has to accept the ISIS mobs, which Europe does not accept to take
back.
The state that watched and paved the way to the massacres of our comrades, siblings and
friends in the land we live, now undertakes the guardianship of ISIS. Starting one day
before the anniversary of one of the biggest massaces that took place in these lands, the
October 10 Massacre which killed more than 100 of our people meeting for peace, this war
foreshadows new massacres.
The media controlled by the state is supporters this policy of war. Not long ago, the
media which was in their anti-immigrant rhetoric, asking the Syrians “what they are doing
in the land we live in”, never asks what the soldiers of the turkish state are looking for
in the land inhabited by Syrians. The media whose duty is supposedly to "deliver the facts
to the public", continues to make warmongering and ignore the massacres. The media, which
cannot make any “news” other than the legitimization the Turkish State policy of war,
continues its lies with its heroic rhetoric.
All wars waged by powers for their own interests are massacres. Every war promoted by
nationalist and militarist policies is a massacre. Every bullet, every bomb targeting the
oppressed peoples, has targeted freedom.
Every war that targets freedom is condemned to be lost.
Neither they can win this war nor can they justify the massacres they will make.
Every state that fights the peoples will lose!

We anarchists (Libertarian socialists), like the rest of the libertarians in the world,
are carefully watching your revolutionary steps, without default. We will try to
communicate your voices to the fullest through the free press and social networks as well
as through our relations with the anarchist comrades in European countries. We will do our
best to contribute to all solidarity activities and to your side in European countries.
---- You are not alone in your struggles, all libertarians in the world in general are in
solidarity with you. We hope that the spark of your uprising will continue. You have not
only forced the dictatorial authority to negotiate with you, but you have terrorized the
neighboring dictatorships and made them worried about their thrones. You have succumbed to
the ruling authority to listen to you and will give you false promises to put out the fire
of your revolution. Suppressing and suppressing the revolution means defeating us and
defeating all libertarian movements.
We have to start working and not allow them to gain and use time to strengthen their
repressive forces. We should strengthen our associations, assemblies and councils in -
shops, work places, schools, offices and departments that people work in and try as much
as possible to form our free and professional mass organizations independent of political
parties and the government, so that we can reorganize the society through such
organizations as parallel so self-adminstration and anti-state authority. We must rely on
the non-hierarchal organization of our ranks starting from the base up to choose our
representatives and not vice versa as is customary in the traditional party organizations
and in the government. The role and influence of the dominant and pro-power parties and
elites should be removed from all our organizations. We should also benefit from the
experiences of revolutionary movements throughout history, for example the experience
of the Spanish Revolution in 1936, the revolutionary student wave in France in 1968, and
the social revolutions in Latin America and others in the beginning of the last century,
...etc.
We understand from the historical experiences and experiences in recent years such as
what happened in Tunisia, Iran and Iraq that we must all having solidarity against racism
and sectarianism and rely on self-organization and self-adminstratoin building in farms,
work places, schools, hospitals and other social affairs.

There is no doubt ignoring the experiences of history will lead to the same experiences
being repeated. What is happening at the moment in Rojava proves this statement. ---- In
Iraqi Kurdistan (Bashour ) the Kurdish Nationalist movement from 1961 to 1975 was at war
with the Iraqi government, demanding the autonomy of Kurdish people, with the support and
help of the United States and its allies. The movement collapsed on the 6 th March 1975
within 24 hours after cutting off the support provided by Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, who was
the head of the Iranian regime at the time. The collapse happened when both regimes, Iraqi
and Iran made a pact. ---- The Kurdish movement in Iraqi Kurdistan was not alone in their
bitter experience with the US in its struggle. In fact some other movements that supported
by US met the same fate.
After all these experiences in the region, another political party , the Democratic
Union Party (PYD) in Rojava fell into the US’ trap in 2015. The PYD became a main
ally of the US to fight the terrorist group ISIS. As a result the PYD sacrificed
thousands and thousands of his military wing Syrian Democratic Forces ( SDF)
from men and women who have been the best fighters in the world , where many
foreigners had participated in as well.
From the beginning, it was clear for us that after KOBANE, any fighting except
self-defence was serving the American and European interests rather than the
Kurdish interest in Rojava.
The PYD allying with the US, has been another factor in annoying the state of
Turkey and Syria, as well as making them more aggressive. Examples of this
include Turkey Invading Afrin in January 2018 and now Rojava .
Now it is very obvious how the US used the Kurdish movement in Iraq for its
political, economic, and military interests, it has done it again in Rojava. In other
words, how the US abandoned Kurdish in Iraq in 1975, by letting Iraqi and Iranian
Regime make a pact on the expense of the Kurdish, now doing the same with
Rojava. The only difference is this time can be worse than 1975. We all know how
brutal the invader will be, causing so much deaths and destructions .
We anarchists, wherever we live and whatever our language is, are in solidarity
with the exploited people wherever they are and those live under the terrible
condition of wars. We feel it is our duty to support and have solidarity with the
civilian and the libertarian voices but not the political parties, governments and
the states.
We always believe PYD’s power in Rojava would bring disaster to people there .
We believed that PYD like any other political parties try to ally itself with the
powerful forces just to achieve its political aims . We have seen that when PYD in
Dihok compromised with the Iraqi Kurdish Democratic Party (KDP) and Syrian
Kurdish National Council for Kurdish Opposition Parties ( ENKS ). In this pact PYD
offered ENKS 40 seats without consultation with the people in Rojava . We also
witnessed that PYD acted as an authoritarian powerful party in changing YPG/ J
from the community voluntary forces to its own forces. Negotiated with Assad ,
changed its direction, dominating the situation in Rojava. PYD has done all these
without the knowledge of the people in Rojava.
Consequently, our comrades have never been silent in criticising PYD and the
situation in Rojava. We now wishing people in Rojava although it may be a bit
late but still possible to do something positive . The assemblies, groups and the
mass organisations in the towns and villages after defeating the invaders or after
the ceasefire can bring back the authorities and power to towards social self-
administration. We also believe it is time for the people of Rojava to learn the
lesson of not trusting any political parties, to escape from the games that the PYD
and other political parties are playing , where the people are the main losers.
At the moment , Rojava is standing up against the invasion of the neo-Ottoman
Empire. As revolutionists, it is our duty to support them in every way we possibly
can. Our support to Rojava is not because the population is mainly Kurdish , but
because we are against all kinds of wars. It is always the civil people like poor ,
vulnerable, women, elderly and the children who are the first to pay the price.
This war that started today, 09/10, has been launched by the state of Turkey and
its proxy forces including Arab and Turkish nationalists , the ENKS and possibly the
Kurdish Regional Government (KRG ). The war wherever is bringing disasters that
are inseparable of the class society and the capitalism. We are also against all
types of power, domination, hierarchy systems and class superiority as they
cause oppression of the mass population and deprive the people from ruling
themselves.
Our alternative is social self- administration of cantons and communities, outside
of control of the political parties, states and any other hierarchical organisations .
We denounce Erdogan and his allies for invading Rojava and hold them
responsible for what happens there . Our heart and minds are with the people of
Rojava.
No to State, political parties, war, invasion, terror.
Yes to solidarity, freedom, equality, social justice and social self-administration

In this brief article, I compile remarks from the recent clashes I participated in this

narrative. Between pros and cons, we follow. ---- October 07, 2019, Bruno Lima Rocha ----
Presentation ---- There is a new wave on the Brazilian internet, specifically the
political use of the network, which is interesting and at the same time deserves a
warning. There is a considerable and recognized effort to normalize Stalin's crimes, and
beyond, to regain the full experience of Eastern Europe and symbolically link to China's
presence today, such as the Mandarin Superpower. In this brief article, I compile remarks
from the recent clashes I participated in this early October 2019. The division into
topics may facilitate reading although I recognize that in the more "orthodox" tradition
of leftist texts, it breaks the rhythm of the narrative. Between pros and cons, we follow.
The anti-Soviet NEP, capitalist China and the hallucination of the "left" widow of Eastern
Europe
The "friends" who defend and support the NEP (New Political Economy, "new" in the paradigm
of Russian Marxism) - the second great Bolshevik betrayal, with Lenin alive and Trotsky
and Stalin working side by side - use an argument that sticks in post-Cold War delirium of
mystification of historical processes. Between the falsification of the twentieth century
and the illusions in the 21st century remains a conclusion. If you don't clean up the NEP
and make a pitying criticism, hallucinations like these will "interpret" Gazprom (or
Huawei, perhaps Cargill) as a necessary step, suddenly "intermediate" hoping that a
capitalist autocratic state "self-dissolve" one day by magic with "dialectical reason" or
any other meaningless wordplay.
Stalin, the Nomenklatura and Hobbesianism on the Left
I always ask in politics if the class would hypothetically accept to live in a society of
full well being, with all the rights guaranteed, all the same (work, health, housing,
culture, leisure, pregnancy, sport, etc.), but with absolute control and curtailment of
political rights. That is, one-party dictatorship and party membership as the only way to
access key positions in the state apparatus. The four formal elites in the former USSR,
political, academic, military, and economic (in the management of state-owned
enterprises), had membership of the PCURSS as their entry criterion. In general I do not
say that this society existed and the example given is in the Soviet period of the
Nomenklatura, specifically in the Kruschev and Brezhnev governments. That is, I reinforce
the myth of "authoritarian temptation",
Surprisingly, the overwhelming majority say NO, they would NEVER ACCEPT, for in the
absence of political rights they would not be sure of the guarantee or at least of the
possibility of fighting for these rights. When I say that this world existed and its
golden age lasted for almost forty years, there is much surprise. Poor Hobbes is very
misunderstood and would be happy to see the right to full life in material terms applied
in the former Soviet Union. But what about political law? Then, when the Nomenklatura
elite turned aside (as of 1988) and dilapidated public assets, the state collapsed in less
than four years. To paraphrase our greatest poet "And now Joseph, the party is over and
your 'history bus' has fallen downhill." Not to look like scorched earth from all
experience, though at least it leaves the example that a planned economy,
The structuring characteristics of this "left" form of political thinking
The crimes of Stalinism, their minions and clones around the world (such as Enver Hoxha in
Albania, Nicolae Ceausescu in Romania, Kim IlSung in North Korea, are more than
acknowledged) the historical and ideological perspective). Unfortunately, it seems that
myth overcomes fact and understanding loses to interpretation. Let's look at some
fundamental, structural problems.
What phenomena of internal politics lead to personality worship? How do huge political
forces necessarily depend on a very small group of "leaders"? Isn't the cult of leadership
also a compliment to individualism, the most petty struggles for power?
It's also worth asking. What is the biggest misconception of the left, not the ex-left,
but the left left? Sociological determinism (in search of the promised class or fraction
of class) or delusion with one's own analyzes leading to some kind of self-proclamation?!
On degeneration and political leadership this is a classic theme and here is just a start
of debate. It is recognized that there is political leadership and some easily
identifiable attributions such as: charisma, oratory, example, dedication, trajectory,
resolving capacity. But when do these characteristics crystallize into a permanent power
structure?! Getting worse. That's when it becomes personality cult and there is no turning
back!
Worth the debate and even more the concern.

This interlocutory text is a completely public policy position. We will continue to walk
in the same bright, but at the same time uphill and rugged path that we made in this city,
until the very end. By the end of it. What we guarantee is that Volos will not become
Amarynthos. ---- Every storm starts with a drop ... ---- In Volos we never get bored ...
---- Early on Monday 23 September we found that the Club sign at the entrance of the
building had been written. They were not fascist slogans, thoughts etc as would be the
most likely and expected. It was an "other" attack, with very specific and manifest
content. The purpose was not simply to blur the sign so that it would not be read. It was
to declare that we are not liberals but rufians. This particular "rhetoric" of rufianology
is systematically used against comrades and companions, including comrades / members of
the Volos Liberal Club management assembly, for over 3 years in groups and hangouts, by
specific "kinematic" militiamen and city's. It began to reproduce in late 2015 when a rape
case was filed within the "local movement". Anyone who took a practical (and not just a
theoretical and indefinable) position against gender-based violence, against its cover-up,
its relativization and normalization, was targeted by apologists of the rape culture with
classical rhetoric split the movement. " This criminal propaganda in public space was
first carried out (written in advance through "kinetic" mailing lists) at the December 6,
2016 demonstration ( was targeted by apologists of the rape culture with the classic

in public space was first carried out (written in advance through "kinetic" mailing lists)
at the December 6, 2016 demonstration (https://athens.indymedia.org/post/1566673/ ) and in
the following months was accompanied by physical attacks, cartels, etc. that carried out
voluntary dominant herds of trout. It is clear to us that vandalism on the Club sign is
part of the same tactic. The plate was immediately cleaned. The luck this time was with
the "night commando" part. In the next attempt he may not have the luck on his part.
The following day, Tuesday, September 24, during a feminist event at the Freedom Club (
https://www.kinimatorama.net/event/110511) and while the event had already begun, a person
involved in a space that invoked self-organization but systematically for years,
relativized and concealed gender violence, invaded the club's venue. The individual has
been instrumental in cultivating the rape culture in the city, and has developed in a
transcendental way the "rational" exemption for rapists by saying that "after he was blown
away by what he did". She had also attempted to violate her previously reported exclusion
(as a member of the participating site) at a public event of the Anarchist Collective
m(A)nifesto (libertarian mobile bookstore), demanding that she then borrow a book from her
bench. Both this person and the rest (older and
younger),https://libatheneonvolos.home.blog/... /... / 14 / enarxi-litourgias /). The
blockade of our board of directors prevented her from entering the event hall informing
her that she had to leave the room, since she and the other people in the venue were
excluded from the Club. With shouts, jerks and screams he tried to re-enter the event
hall. She was chilled out of the room with the guard repeatedly blocking her.
Machiavelli's utterance of "purpose sanctifies the means" has literally been worshiped in
the "competitive movement" of this city. The recipe is very old and simple. When their
political agendas do not "walk", that is, they do not persuade, and do not, like the
faithful soldiers behind them, at least the whole or the majority of the active political
world of the city with a radicalized consciousness, then with a complete lack of
substantive and realistic self-criticism propaganda and in a modern witch-hunt, targeting
individuals and collectives as an "internal enemy" that "disrupts the movement" and is
responsible for not engaging in their micro-political goals. It departs from their
political guardianship and influence that they cannot directly or indirectly manipulate,
either individually or collectively, they slander and target it in their political and
social environment, and mainly within the spaces and hangouts involved. Always with the
classical Bolshevik methods of Lavrenti Pavlovich Beria (head of the Soviet apparatus for
repression and Stalin's secret services): "scavengers", "suspects", "rufians", "agents" or
"cosmos" etc. makes gossip gossip or remains lazy and silent, choosing the "equal
distance" attitude, in this recurring chronic misery, gives them moral and political
legitimacy to pursue this criminal propaganda and to upgrading it occasional UV attacks.

We will continue our work by maintaining this profound and unbridled value rupture with
apologists of gender-based violence, whatever the ideological wrapper they may be,
whatever markers and sprays they spend spewing feminist https://www.feminos / ... /

https://athens.indymedia.org/post/1581905/), vandalizing plates with their ruffianologies
and the like. For years they have been trying to flush out by imposing forgiveness on
their patriarchal and antisocial crimes. They cultivate diligently and with sophisticated
techniques in the spaces and hangouts that accommodate the rape, having set up a
well-designed political machine. They are now publicly and viciously identified as
anti-sexists / traitors, seizing any opportunity they may have (Jacques, Topaloudi, etc.).
But for gender-based violence in "radical spaces" the recipe changes and the banner of the
notorious "presumption of innocence" of the victims is immediately lifted up with
deliberate cover-up, supposedly agnosticism and the well-known jurist reversal.
At Volos Liberty Club we do not promote 'alternative' subculture or
micro-entrepreneurship, we do not support individual careers. The club is neither a party
nor a concert. The Liberty Club area is contraindicated for demonstrating and promoting a
'potential' and so-called revolted macho lifestyle. Volos Liberty Club is neither a shop
nor an alternative entertainment venue. Our site has an organized library with older and
newer libertarian editions and a reading room. Anyone who intends to financially support
the operation of the Club can do so directly, without the mediation of alcohol. The means
indicate the purpose, the purpose does not sanctify the means. The way the Liberty Club
operates is clear, just as clear are the guarded value boundaries within which the space
is operated by its management assembly. Liberal values are not relevant, never in history.
They are not identified by the individual appetite appeals and individual desires. Which
people are undesirable in the club area has been made public in our founding text of the
operation and we uphold our values by the end.

From birth we experience patriarchy through family, school, work, personal relationships,
on the road, in our daily lives. We are strangled daily by incidents of gender-based
violence ranging from gender stereotypes and discrimination, sexist comments and jokes,
psychological and physical violence, the devaluation of women to assaults, rape and female
homicides. We are strangled by homophobia, trans-misogyny, transgender women, the
marginalization of immigrants, and the social depreciation of female editors. All this
iceberg of gender-based violence that results in female killings is based on normalization
and concealment. In the silent silence of the family, the neighborhood, the association of
political spaces and wider social groups. ---- We break the fear by supporting one another
in solidarity. We are collectively organized against any form of patriarchal enforcement.
We break the silence by talking about what we have experienced.

Initiated in 2017, the Internationalist Rojava Commune (CIR) is a self-organized
collective based at the Sehid Helin Qerecox Internationalist Academy in Derik, Syrian
Kurdistan. ---- She organizes training courses on society, the history of the revolution,
political debates and language courses. The international volunteers she welcomes - mostly
Western, of different political sensitivities - come to concretely help the revolution.
She notably initiated the environmental project Make Rojava Green Again (read AL of June
2018) and the solidarity campaign RiseUp4Rojava. The comrades answered the questions of
Alternative Libertaire . ---- Can you explain how the CIR works ? ---- According to a
model of democratic confederalism, with a gendered separation and an administration. The
basic unit is the commune, 5-6 persons, with a coordination assembly of the communes every
week, and a plenary session every 2 months with all the members of the CIR. It discusses
developments in EIF, past and future, and the role of internationalism.
And the implantation in Syria ?
In 2017, the idea of having a meeting place and training for internationalists came to
fruition. It took, with the administration, find a place, build the buildings ... It took
about a year, with a first training in mid-2018. CIR members are regularly in Europe for
presentations, but no permanent place or structure is directly connected to the CIR
outside Rojava.
How did you see the situation evolve in Syria ?
The revolution of Rojava, initiated by the Kurdish liberation movement, brought a
beginning of solution to the conflicts of the zone, and more generally of the Middle East,
since the beginning of the interference of the imperialists. The confederalist model
implemented could very well be appropriate given the multi-ethnic and multi-faith
character of the Middle East. This solution comes at the right time to undo a situation at
the heart of global conflicts of interest.
The Syrian civil war is a proxy war, with influences from around the world expressing
itself through their support for a particular local force. Across Turkey it is NATO that
is supporting theo-fascist developments in the region, to generate chaos that keeps the
petro-business, but also to create an enemy on an international scale, and thus maintain
its own populations under control. The link between Daesh and Turkey is well established,
and the denunciation of support for Turkish armaments by Western states and capitals is a
necessity. The al-Assad regime is the puppet of Russian interests and the local bourgeoisie.
Past developments have confirmed this reading of a war of global interferences which, put
in the context of previous wars in the Middle East, shows that we are here at the heart of
a Third World War. A US-Iran war is being prepared, with the weakening of Iran's borders
and the proliferation of NATO bases in the region. And the endless US-Russia conflict. Any
attempt to bring peace and self-determination to the peoples of the Middle East is
threatened and the Kurdish revolutionary forces are targeted because they hold a solution
that would free the region from imperialism.
The development of cooperatives, especially women, is one of the most innovative aspects
of the economy, allowing people who did not have access to it to be in control of their
work tool and their income. The process goes as far as a municipalization of the economy,
with a planned management of resources and production at the level of the local
municipality. Women's autonomous structures are certainly the most radical change in the
region.
The establishment of women's homes, the development of jineoloji ("women's science"), are
important contributions to liberation struggles. The consideration of ecology in a context
of war and after the destruction of traditional ecological lifestyles is a feat. Above
all, it is the relationship to the other that is changed, social relations experiencing a
major revolution where everyone is a heval ("friend and comrade"), with whom one can end
up living, working, united in the revolution.
And how do you see the current situation ?
If the revolution has gone beyond the liberation of the Kurdish people, it remains
determined by the "Kurdish question", especially with regard to the conflicts imposed on
it by the Turkish state that invaded the Canton of Afrin in 2018 and now threatens to
invade the rest of Rojava. Turkey has entered more widely Bashur (Iraqi Kurdistan) to face
the guerrilla mountains of Qandil, the heart of the revolution. Most recently, the Turkish
state has replaced the mayors of Amed (Diyarbakir), Wan and Merdîn, democratically
elected, by its pawns, from the AKP-MHP fascist alliance in power.
In Syria, if Daesh is officially defeated, its ideology is still present, cells are
constantly being discovered, and attacks continue to occur. The al-Assad regime is losing
ground and leaving areas whose legitimacy is in fact the responsibility of the autonomous
administration, but it is not an ally, the two systems coexist in permanent tension.
Assad, Erdogan and Putin are still struggling to gain control of the Idlib township
without reaching an agreement and without consideration for the local people.
The revolution needs to secure its support. In the context of internationalism, this means
strengthening and concretizing solidarity. Inform the international community about the
actions of their states and the collaboration of their companies in relation to what is
happening here. As the revolutionary Sehid Andrea Wolff, a German militant fighter in
Kurdistan, who was executed in 1998 by the Turkish army, said: " I wish there were
movements in the cities that attack this war, make it impossible. Who just cut the supply.
So we can say that the revolution in Rojava is a hope for the future ?
It carries a libertarian socialist ideal, which detonates with the rise of fascism in the
world. It is an example of a society that deals with the issue of men's oppression of
women, at a time when sex scandals are being revealed at the highest level of
international geopolitics and where ordinary sexism is killing silently.
Faced with ecological destruction, Rojava proposes to solve the problem at its source: to
abolish the domination of humans by humans. A long-term, societal approach, which
corresponds to the extent of the damage, and which makes sense when we see the lack of
will in the face of climate change on the part of the state system. The society of Rojava
is full of contradictions, which it assumes, like any revolution, but it is nonetheless a
concrete example of radical change, in the heart of world chaos.
Tell us about the Rise Up For Rojava campaign ...
RiseUp4Rojava is an international campaign to support the Rojava revolution that calls for
action against Turkey and its international collaborators, states and capitals. Launched
by the CIR at the time of the threats of invasion of Rojava in December 2018 it developed
and gained in depth by publishing the names of the collaborating companies with the
Turkish army. The weapons used here are made in France, Germany. It is the NATO countries
that validate or invalidate the actions of the Turkish state, so Western revolutionaries
have a role to play in this revolution.
One can also hope that a major uprising in Bakur, Northern Kurdistan (in Turkey) will
change the game, but people need to feel supported by the international community. We are
continuing the RiseUp4Rojava and Make Rojava Green Again campaigns to organize an
international anti-fascist front and ecologist solidarity actions. We will develop our
academy and the link with other structures, diversifying and actualizing the actions
achievable here by internationalists.
It is a real international coordination of political organizations, which carry out both
information actions and punches against the Turkish state and its support: demonstrations
in the face of threats of invasion by the Turkish state, poster campaigns. The networks
also prepared for major actions on the day of the invasion, which was called Day X. This
call is still active. Dozens of actions and demonstrations took place during the first
international days of action (6 and 7 September).
And Make Rojava Green Again, where is this campaign ?
A book was written, sharing the ideological reflections of the revolution around ecology
and exposing the ecological situation in Rojava. Various ecological projects are carried,
one, major, is a nursery for the Hayaka nature reserve. For many of our projects, Turkish
threats interrupted our work cycles, damaging project sites. We can see the difficulty of
carrying out ecological projects in a context of war.
The campaign is working with the Kurdish Red Crescent to provide support to farmers who
lost their crops in June-July following the arson attacks of the Turkish state and its
jihadist auxiliaries. How can we support
the CIR beyond these campaigns ?
It is possible to support the Commune by joining us in Rojava, by making a donation or
simply by starting to organize politically at your place. Any help, here or from Europe,
is welcome, we still need translators, media / press contacts, activists ready to post,
and more.

and Saturday, September 28, 2019, the seventh Libertarian Communist Days, focused on the
issue of anarchism and gender, and were held at the Community Library in the La
Perseverance neighborhood of Bogotá, were held with about thirty attendees organized by
the Libertario Vía Libre Group. ---- First day ---- On the night of Friday 27, I start the
first day of the Conference. The space, which was attended by 20 people, started at 6:30
pm with the general presentation of the activity, which responded to the strengthened
interest that Vía Libre and other expressions of the popular field have shown for
feminism, as well as the growth of the movement of women and sexual dissidents of recent
years and the positive impact this has had on other social and popular movements.
The continuity of this anarchist reflection and projection space was also reviewed, with
the first libertarian communist days (2011) organized by the Group, which addressed issues
such as the history of anarchism in Colombia and Latin America as well as its intervention
in different social struggles, the second days (2012) that dealt with libertarian
militancy in different social sectors and regional contexts, the third (2014) that
addressed the debate on the organizational platform for the general union of the
anarchists and a commemoration of the birth of Bakunin, the fourth (2015) where the
cultural project would be presented we continue fighting, the fifth (2016) focused on the
commemoration of the formation of the Uruguayan Anarchist Federation and workshops on
territory and gender, and the sixth (2017) with perspectives on social struggles in
Colombia and the 100 years of the Russian Revolution.
Step followed and from 7:00 pm the panel "Machista Violence within organizations" was
developed, with the intervention of the Fearless Band of the National Pedagogical
University and Vía Libre, which presented in document format the document "Protocol for
the prevention and attention of cases of gender violence and sexist practices within
political organizations ". In this way the reflections of the Band without fear as a
mainly female organization of students of the Pedagogical University were exposed, who
have accompanied and organized various actions of solidarity with those affected and
reporting acts of sexist violence, Organizing the night without fear and street escraches
denouncing these patriarchal practices in the institution and led discussions on the
policies of prevention of gender violence in the university. For its part, Vía Libre, a
mixed organization that recognizes itself as a feminist, gathered the experience of sexist
practices and the acts of violence that were presented within its organization, the way in
which a protocol had been built to react more effectively and better in the face of these
facts and the subsequent development of a comprehensive gender policy for the organization.
In the discussion, the different legal instances of the complaint processes were
problematized, the type of legal tools that could be used in the care and protection of
women and the different strategies that could be developed before these institutions
looking at the possibilities, limitations and tensions between legal channels and street
action. At the same time, it was inquired about the fate of the people involved in cases
of sexist violence where the achievement of the permanence of the victimized companions in
the organizations, the difficulties and contradictions of the processes of re
socialization and deconstruction of the aggressors and the continuity of several of those
expelled in other social, political or academic organizations without major consequences.
Second day
The next day on Saturday afternoon, September 28, the second day of reflection and
discussion of the Conference was presented, which was attended by about 30 people. The
session began at 3:00 pm with a short presentation of the booklet "Anarchism and social
movements of 1968" that systematized the texts presented at the XIV militant seminar
focused on the same theme and held last year. The book contains six texts that reflect on
68 in the United States and Western Europe, the development of the Chinese Cultural
Revolution, the movements of 68 in Latin America, particularly in Cordobazo and the towns
in Argentina, the influence of this global movement in the wave of struggles and social
movements in Colombia between 1967 and 1971, and the economic explanations of this crisis
process,
At 3:30 pm the short film space on the struggles of the peoples of the Middle East was
opened, in which two projections were presented, the first on Palestine and the Boycott,
Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel and the second on Kurdistan, and
the proposal of the Kurdistan-Colombia Solidarity Committee. The first highlighted the
policy of ethnic cleansing and violent occupation of the State of Israel, the terrible
living conditions of the people of Gaza and the West Bank and the various forms of
resistance developed by the Palestinian people. The second highlighted the ways of
organizing the autonomous region of the Democratic Federation of Northern Syria and the
feminist, secular and secular proposals of Kurdish revolutionaries.

Through the latter half of of September there was a wave of protests in Lebanon starting
from Beirut's Martyr's Square and heading to the Parliament building at Nejmeh Square with
the intent to break through the security barriers and kick the corrupt government out.
---- These protests follow a vast economic crisis proceeded over by a minority governments
lining it's own pockets. Lebanon has been governed by a sect-based political system that
has stood unchanged since the end of the Lebanese civil war in 1991 and despite the waves
of action during the Arab Spring in 2011, the government remains in control with an iron
grip and a black heart. ---- Whether Christians, Sunnis, Shiites, Alawites or Druze, the
working class Lebanese all face a new wave of taxes and a faltering economy. The daily
reality of no food in the cupboards and no water in the taps left them with only one
choice. They took to the streets to protest for a decent existence, only to find
themselves dealing with horrific police brutality.
In the middle of this there is a relatively new group taking to the streets, organising
and sharing the politics of Anarchism, they are named Kefah! or Struggle. They formed in
December last year as "big tent" collective of Anarchist comrades ( including Anarchist
Communists, Mutualists, Anarcho Vegans and Syndicalists) and quickly became an active part
of the alliance of opposition to the government and subsequently the current wave of
demonstrations.
They told Organise! "our short term aim is to overthrow the current corrupted oligarchy
taking over Lebanon and our long term goal is to achieve anarchism in Lebanon and the
region, either by building independent communes, or by transforming all the society into
an anarchist one" .
You can get in contact via their Social Media account Here. ?
Here is their statement of intent in English with the Arabic below.
KAFEH! or Struggle! is an Anarchist Movement whose goal is to achieve a decentralized
society without authority , and who upholds the values of liberty, social justice,
egalitarianism, and secularism.
The word "KAFEH!" is an Arabic briefing of the term: " Effective Free Anarchist Cadres ".
The Premise of the movement is Anarchy or Libertarian Anti-Authoritarianism.
"KAFEH!" Movement rejects the authoritarian patriarchal dominant system in Lebanon which
is a centralized establishment that incites sectarianism, and greedy capitalism in order
to support allocating quotas , exploitation , and splitting power, resources and public
wealth.
"KAFEH!" seeks to change the current status quo of the system into an extended
decentralization consisting of small local communities (communes), each choosing its own
self ruling system, respecting liberty , social justice, egalitarianism, and secularism.
"KAFEH!" aims to minimize the state's duties to the collection of taxes from each & every
community in order to provide social services and infrastructure equally distributed
amongst all communities.
"KAFEH!" supports the principle of absolute individual freedom in life choices, beliefs,
opinion, expression , ideas , and other principles based on the declaration of human rights.
"KAFEH!" insists on the necessity to change the current system by all its forms.
"KAFEH!" considers that any form of change can't be true if it doesn't include the
protection of fauna and flora expressed by a pact amongst all communities.
"KAFEH!" declares itself the protector of the weak and of the oppressed, as well as of
victims of injustice practiced by the current authoritarian patriarchal dominant system.
