People who have obligations, families, rentals are thrown into the street as if they were
'expired' products. They treat employees as numbers in the spreadsheets. Unfortunately for
them, they have not learned to account for what militant unionism, solidarity and struggle
mean. It's never too late. ---- Rain the redundancies in food! ---- The freshmen didn't
just bring the water tolumi to Ioannina. They also brought layoffs. In many food shops
(cafes, restaurants, restaurants, fast food establishments), employers, as if they were
talking to each other, started vengeance redundancies for workers who claimed their jobs
or had a union job. ---- The bosses, of course, didn't get along and decided to drive out.
The town is small, they would learn. Nor - as some like to argue - did they find an
appropriate field due to the change of government. One joy was also fired at SYRIZA, and
the Left government also struck small and medium-sized entrepreneurs. And anyone who
claims (yet!) That SYRIZA had a philanthropic policy is neither for laughs, nor for
crying, for cynics.
The reaction of the bosses
This issue is not separate from the series of claims raised in the past years in the food
sector. Many young workers, waitresses, carriers, deliberators, etc., have joined and
united in unions controlled by party mechanisms, engaged in political mediation, demanding
the enforcement of labor law, insurance, pay, insurance. of gifts and allowances. Bosses,
not only in Ioannina but everywhere, are not used to such pressure. The control
mechanisms, by government orders, of course, turned a blind eye to the illegals, fearing
to disturb the coveted development.
Official trade unions (GSEE / PAME), in exactly the same direction, only complain about
the big capital as if there was no exploitation in the small shops.
These dismissals, however, do not scare any colleagues. No one is going to be cut. In an
age of total insecurity in the workplace, uncertainty and poorly paid work, the choice to
claim the obvious, defend your dignity, is not without cost. And the bosses are looking
for a way to get rid of you. Unfortunately for them, however, they have learned to
calculate everything based on what is supposed to be their interest and what is not.

No doubt about the will of the bourgeoisie to break definitively solidarity pensions, but
Macron knows he is walking on embers. The "reform" expected after the European elections
is postponed after the municipal elections and scheduled to be voted in July 2020 during
the holidays ... Employees and Liberals, general plan and special diets all together we
can win. It's up to us to turn fear into rout ! ---- This is not another "reform". With
the point retirement, scheduled for July 2020, is the definitive destruction of the
solidarity system we are talking about. It must be understood that the decline of our
pensions is not the goal in itself but the means to achieve three strategic objectives:
extend the working time (week, month, year, for life ... because this is how the employee
produces more wealth) ; align the percentage of GDP spent on pensions with the European
average (lower it, therefore) ; offer the huge contribution cake to the insurance and
banking sector.
Thus Delevoye, now minister, evokes the calculation over the entire career, because by
integrating our first years of employment with microsales, the decline in the average
reference wage is automatic. This obviously results in the need to work longer to qualify
for a departure without a discount. Whether one retains the pivotal age formula or
additional quarters does not change the case.
With the merger of the self-employed regime (RSI) into the general system and the prospect
of the extinction of special regimes (except for the cops and the military, the hard core
of the state !) Everyone is concerned. It is therefore well beyond the sole employees of
the general scheme that it is necessary to mobilize. This is also what the RATP employees
who suddenly found a flamboyant combativeness, and the liberal professions who held a
first day of action rather successful. The action days of 21 and 24 September, with FO
solo on one side, CGT-Solidaires on the other, did not thunder.
It is therefore a complex alchemy that must be converged. The beneficiaries of the 42
special schemes are likely to be the driving force behind the upcoming mobilization: they
have the most to lose and may have the idea of winning for their corporation, which is
more difficult to hope at the general level for other employees.
Corporatism is a poison only if it is selfish
The disappearance of special diets is presented by Macron as the reestablishment of a just
retirement for all. In fact it is a bottom-up alignment in which no one will win ! We must
win this battle of communication if we want at the same time that the corporations
mobilize, that they drag behind them a general movement and that they do not give up the
fight as soon as they have obtained a partial and provisional satisfaction !
Corporatism is a poison only when it is selfish ! After so many defeats at the general
level since 2010 on pensions or labor laws, it is normal that the struggles fall back on
smaller perimeters where people have the impression to master the stakes and opportunities
for success.
Of course the fight will be essential to win. But our problem for the next few months is
to build it patiently, not to scream in the desert all the more loud as no one is
listening ! The traditional union field, the one that had built our achievements since the
post-war period, is a field of ruins. It is therefore a work of reconstruction that is
before us. And it is possible that the violence of the cumulative neoliberal attacks
eventually provoke a popular outburst, which the movement of the yellow vests has
partially shown.

Victor and Roga were sentenced to prison terms for participating in a student AG. This
repression of social movements is unbearable. The Libertarian Communist Union calls for
support, and demands their release on appeal. ---- Their wrong ? To have participated in a
student AG on the college of Nanterre, during the mobilization against Parcoursup in 2018.
The presidency of the college had evacuated the amphitheater where the GA was held by
force, by calling the police. On that day and as often in the suppression of social
movements, the police had used extreme violence. ---- But as often, it's when the police
are guilty that they attack. Two of them accused Victor and Roga, present at the GA to
organize the fight against Parcoursup, to have abused them. In the first instance, they
were sentenced to prison terms on the basis of empty files. If only the testimony of the
police makes it possible to send young militants in prison, it is clear that our liberties
to protest against the power in place are not guaranteed.
October 10 will be the appeal trial of Victor and Roga. Support them for a complete relaxe
! So that they are finally whitewashed, but also to stop this unbearable criminalization
of social movements !
Let's be numerous and numerous at the support rally on October 10 at 12:30 in front of the
Court of Appeal of Versailles (5 rue Carnot) !

We express our deepest solidarity with the Ecuadorian people, at this time mobilized
against Lenin Moreno's pack and his adjustment and hunger policies. ---- Solidarity with
the Ecuadorian people in resistance to the pack and the repression of Moreno ---- We
express our deepest solidarity with the Ecuadorian people, at this time mobilized against
Lenin Moreno's pack and his adjustment and hunger policies. ---- We were able to observe
in recent months how the Moreno regime has been advancing on the popular sectors, trying
to attack its most felt conquests. Examples of these are attempts to increase fuel (which
will immediately cause an increase in the products of the basic basket, transport and cost
of living) and the implementation of an anti-popular Labor Reform, which expresses the
deepening of neoliberal policies.
To this we must add a return to carnal relations with US imperialism and the
reestablishment of support from usury agencies such as the IMF, in an economy already
dollarized decades ago. But the popular sectors, unions and social organizations and
peoples from Ecuador, far from being spectators of the scrapping process, have been
offering resistance with demonstrations and acts.
In recent days, the popular discontent overflowed the streets with massive mobilizations
in the main cities, to which the national State decided to respond with the greatest
brutality, leaving many wounded and about 300 wounded, within the framework of the
establishment of the State of siege . Although the situation is also critical, and
decisive hours are played for the Ecuadorian people, from the popular organizations it is
being defined to continue on the streets to resist the advanced repression - of
dictatorial dyes - and forcefully reject the neoliberal scythe, facing the plans of
imperialism in the region.
The slogan that is repeated in the streets of Quito, Guayaquil or Cuenca calls for
deepening the struggle and resistance against repressive forces and the Ecuadorian State.
From the rest of the region we cannot do anything other than join in pressing in that
direction, even going to the embassies and consulates of Ecuador.
Long live the resistance of the Ecuadorian people!
Down the pack of Moreno!
Top those who fight!

Since 2006 in Argentina, the Federation of Basic Organizations (FOB) has helped to animate
the social movement piquetero according to libertarian principles, affirming a class
feminist line. While three of his activists will make a tour of public meetings in France,
organized by UCL, a FOB comrade explains the meaning of their fight. ---- September 2019:
Thirty organizations and thousands of people block traffic and camp on the largest avenue
in the country, in the heart of Buenos Aires. This mobilization is yet another response to
the situation created by the liberal right in power for four years: austerity policies,
debt policy with the IMF, inflation of more than 50% and corresponding increase in
poverty, etc. The organizations are asking for a state of food emergency. They want to
receive more food and "allowances" for their canteens .
The Piquetero movement
These organizations are part of what is known as the " piqueteromovement ", a conglomerate
of social organizations, each with its specificities depending on whether they are
structured around political parties, trade unions or other militant groups. It is
estimated that they gather about 300,000 people, unemployed and unemployed or precarious.
The largest structures are led by Peronists who directly benefited from the resources
granted[1].
In Argentina there is no social protection system. The State puts in place so-called
"restraint" programs that are aimed at containing social actions and movements, and which
are essentially "work-based " trainingdevices(often transformed, in practice). , in simple
allocations). Not being universal programs accessible to all, to benefit from it must
either enter the clientelist network specific to Peronism, or be part of piqueteras
organizations that mobilize - usually by cutting the roads - and obtain these resources by
the struggle.
An organization on libertarian bases
During the mobilizations, we can see the banners and red and black flags of the FOB, the
Federation of grassroots organizations, born in 2006, bringing together several structures
in Buenos Aires (some existing since 2001) and in Argentine provinces. Libertarian in its
principles of action and organization, it gathers around weekly assemblies of thousands of
men and especially women, living in shanty towns or relegated neighborhoods. They organize
themselves and struggle to improve their daily lives, meet with their "peers" to create
common, learn to work together and do things collectively, on an equal footing.
Even if these organizations were driven by anarchist activists, the FOB does not claim any
specific ideology, even if it has a charter of libertarian principles. It is about
organizing outside political parties, being independent of the state, unions and churches,
operating without leaders, in the most horizontal way possible. Beyond the goal of
improving living conditions, we organize and fight for social change. We seek as much to
build a self-managing social force as to develop "prefigurative"practices [2], here and
now. Currently, the FOB is an average organization in the piquetero movement since it
gathers around 5,000 people. We are constantly seeking to expand the experience by opening
new assemblies in other neighborhoods and regions.
The particularity of the organizations of Buenos Aires is that they are composed in their
majority of people of immigrant origin (Bolivian, Peruvian, Paraguayan). This is explained
by their territorial location (slums) and by the fact that these people live in precarious
conditions. But what is obvious to someone outside is the large number of women
participating and invested in the different bodies. The movement of unemployed workers
"Fight and dignity of Lugano", one of the FOB groups, is made up of more than 90% women,
mostly of Bolivian origin. Every FOB organization has a women's or feminist assembly.
Workshops for training, reflection, mobilization especially for the right to abortion or
against feminicides: the FOB is a member of the National Campaign against violence against
women. What happens in the women's assemblies and the anti-patriarchal axis go through all
the instances and activities of the FOB.
Arm wrestling with the state
Resources are therefore extracted from the state through mobilizations and negotiations.
They allow each compañera and compañero to benefit from a minimum income. Then, within the
FOB, we perform what's called a 'resignificationOf these programs, which means that we
empty them of their state logic to use them according to our own interests or those of the
neighborhood. FOB organizes its own working groups and commissions. Currently in the three
organizations of Buenos Aires, there are groups of cleaning of public spaces,
construction-renovation, workshops textile, pottery, graphics, radio, percussion for the
demonstrations, school support, as well as health commissions, self-defense (for the
demonstrations) and media. We also have a popular canteen open to local people.
October 27 is the first round of the presidential election. Faced with Mauricio Macri, the
current president right, a peronist "ticket" - with Alberto Fernández and former president
Cristina Kichner as candidate for the vice presidency - has every chance to win. This
ticket is supported by all the big Peronist piqueteras organizations . In the event of a
victory, it is a safe bet that their leaders get positions in the Ministry of Social
Affairs where they can develop public policies for the sector. This would result in a
reorganization of the popular camp where, on the one hand, organizations supporting the
government and organizations seeking to maintain their independence and autonomy will benefit.
Fabrice (FOB)
[1] Peronism is a central political current in Argentina, patriotic and patronage, with a
right wing tied to financial circles, and a left wing that can rely on social movements.
[2] That is to say, to make live in the current society a counter-society on
non-hierarchical bases.

[Press Release] The first negotiations between unionised drivers and Deliveroo will take
place on Monday. The result could set a precedent. ---- Overnight, Deliveroo riders were
left jobless when it was made public in mid-August that the app-based delivery service
would cease its operations in Berlin. The company terminated the self-employed riders'
contracts on the 28th August. Four riders, organised in the base trade union Freie
Arbeiter*innen Union Berlin (FAU), are now fighting this. For them it is clear that the
job had nothing to do with self-employment. Therefore, they are going to court to have it
declared that a regular employment relationship existed between them and Deliveroo - which
means that their dismissal is invalid and outstanding payments are due from the company.
According to lawyer Klaus Stähle, who represents the four drivers: "We are convinced that
internet-based food delivery controlled by apps and algorithms, electronic shift plans and
automated order assignment at standardized prices integrates the drivers into Deliveroo's
organization to such an extent that there is no room for self-employment. These are
clearly dependent employees. The ‘freedom' of the self-employed to reject individual
orders is immediately punished by the algorithm when it comes to new shift allocations."
In a dependent employment relationship, in contrast to one with self-employed workers,
legally-regulated protections won through prior trade union struggles apply - such as
compensation for injury resulting from accidents or continued payment of wages in the
event of illness. Severance payments after collective redundancies are also common.
Deliveroo, however, only offered the riders an arbitrarily-calculated compensation
payment. For rider Lukas Malik: "The majority of these ‘good will payments' were tied to
the condition that by signing, riders waive their right to all further claims. I see it as
an attempt to pacify disgruntled colleagues. Many have signed. But I cannot and will not
let Deliveroo get away with it so easily. Such a sudden termination puts riders in a very
precarious situation, and must be challenged".
This decision takes the FAU "Deliverunion" campaign into a new phase. For years, the
company has ignored these legitimate trade union demands. Now it sees itself in court -
with the prospect of sending a signal to the so-called "gig economy". "This business model
promotes bogus self-employment, creates space for the denial of rights, and thus poses a
serious risk for workers. A verdict against Deliveroo could constitute a warning to
similar companies. Marginalised employees will be emboldened to organise against
precarious working conditions," says trade union secretary Johnny Hellqvist of the FAU Berlin.
The labour court hearings are open to the public.
Where? Magdeburger Platz 1, 10785 Berlin, Room 206.
When? 07.10.2019 11:30 am.
The participants will available on site to answer questions.

This Tuesday, October 8, around 5:30 am, the gendarmes began the expulsion of the "free
hamlet of Amassada" in Saint-Victor-et-Melvieu, Aveyron. Activists have been fighting for
more than four years, opposed to the project to install a mega electric transformer,
carried by RTE (Transmission Network). ---- The rumors circulating for several days were
confirmed yesterday when large units of mobile guards arrived on the Larzac, Millau and St
Rome Tarn, neighboring town of St Victor. Opposite, activists, residents of the village
and members of the peasant Confederation arrived to defend the ZAD. Several families in
the village offered to welcome the zadists. The mayor has reaffirmed its support for the
Amassada and provides the ballroom from tomorrow to accommodate supporters and the press.
In the early morning, the mobile gendarmes, supported by two armored vehicles, repelled
the 50 or so activists present despite the barricades, the determination and the songs.
About fifteen people perched on the roofs, before being expelled one by one. Three arrests
have been made, and the machines have already begun the destruction of the site.
As a reminder, this is a mega-transformer project, sponsored by RTE, a subsidiary of EDF,
which intends to connect all renewable energy facilities in the region. The
mega-transformer will take away the electricity that the Aeolian promoters promise to
supply by erecting nearly a thousand wind turbines. This wind project is not intended to
reduce the share of nuclear power but to produce surplus energy for export. No energy
benefits are expected for the department or even in terms of jobs. It is a capitalist
project made to fatten RTE by the biai of the famous public-private partnerships.
The Libertarian Communist Union affirms its total support for the expelled from the
Amassada and the inhabitants in struggle !
