NL - More than 25 years ago, in a small jazz club in Brussels, 

the idea arose for an orchestra that is now among the best in the world: 

the Brussels Jazz Orchestra. With internationally acclaimed projects such as The Artist, 

collaborations with major national and foreign artists such as Bert Joris, 

Enrico Pieranunzi and Maria Schneider, but also surprising partners such as De Frivole Raspberry, 

the orchestra is constantly surprising, surpassing expectations and meeting new audiences to speak.

Collaborations with DJ Grazzhoppa and rapper Zed should make the next generation enthusiastic 

about jazz.

The Brussels Jazz Orchestra consists of top musicians who together provide the unique 

sound of the orchestra. The surprising artistic choices of the BJO sometimes cause tensions within the group. 

But also the constant search for that perfect ensemble 

that is only achieved when every musician is on the same line. 

The essence of the BJO lies in the mix of professionalism, playing pleasure and friendship.
