URGENT PROTEST: #NoWarWithIran
Donald Trump is leading to a dangerous and unnecessary war against Iran. The assassination of Iranian general Soleimani by American forces may lead to a bigger war than we have ever seen in the Middle East. While Trump has been hoping for such a war since he put an end to all diplomatic agreements with Iran, his polices will not serve the interests of the people in the Middle East or across the world, but will only bring to bloodshed and suffering.
In the last months we have seen a wave of popular uprisings in the Middle East and all around the world against neoliberal policies and their authoritarian implementations. The dangerous escalation initiated by the US is aimed to disperse popular protests and bring us back to the cycle of imperialist interventions and counter-attacks that serves the US hegemony.
We will gather this Sunday in front of the US embassy in Belgium to demand an end to the aggressive American interventions in the Middle East.
We demand that the Belgian government and the European Union will condemn the assassination of Soleimani and announce they will not take part in any attack on Iran and its people.
We demand to respect the right of people all around the world to determine their own destiny without foreign interventions.
Join us this Sunday, 5 January 2020, at 14:00 in front of the US embassy to call:

No to imperialist violence!

Pas de guerre avec l'Iran !
Donald Trump mène une guerre dangereuse et inutile contre l'Iran. L'assassinat du général iranien Soleimani par les forces américaines pourrait conduire à une guerre plus importante que celle que nous avons jamais vue au Moyen-Orient. Bien que Trump espère une telle guerre depuis qu'il a mis fin à tous les accords diplomatiques avec l'Iran, ses politiques ne serviront pas les intérêts des peuples du Moyen-Orient ou du monde entier, mais ne feront que provoquer des effusions de sang et de la souffrance.
Au cours des derniers mois, nous avons assisté à une vague de soulèvements populaires au Moyen-Orient et dans le monde entier contre les politiques néolibérales et leur mise en œuvre autoritaire. La dangereuse escalade initiée par les États-Unis vise à disperser les protestations populaires et à nous ramener au cycle d'interventions et de contre-attaques impérialistes qui sert l'hégémonie américaine.
Nous nous réunirons ce dimanche devant l'ambassade US en Belgique pour exiger la fin des interventions américaines agressives au Moyen-Orient.
Nous exigeons que le gouvernement belge et l'Union européenne condamnent l'assassinat de Soleimani et annoncent qu'ils ne participeront à aucune attaque contre l'Iran et son peuple.
Nous exigeons de respecter le droit des peuples du monde entier à déterminer leur propre destin sans intervention étrangère.

Dringend protest: #NoWarWithIran !
Donald Trump biedt op tot een gevaarlijke en onnodige oorlog tegen Iran. De moord op de Iraanse generaal Soleimani door de Amerikaanse strijdkrachten kan leiden tot een grotere oorlog dan we ooit hebben gezien in het Midden-Oosten. Hoewel Trump al op zo'n oorlog hoopt sinds hij een einde heeft gemaakt aan alle diplomatieke overeenkomsten met Iran, zal zijn beleid niet de belangen van de mensen in het Midden-Oosten of in de hele wereld dienen, maar alleen bloedvergieten en lijden teweegbrengen.
In de afgelopen maanden hebben we een golf van volksopstanden gezien in het Midden-Oosten en over de hele wereld tegen het neoliberale beleid en de autoritaire uitvoering daarvan. De gevaarlijke escalatie die de VS in gang hebben gezet, is bedoeld om de populaire protesten in te dammen en ons terug te brengen in de cyclus van imperialistische interventies en tegenaanvallen die de Amerikaanse hegemonie dient.
Wij komen deze zondag bijeen voor de Amerikaanse ambassade in België om een einde te eisen aan de agressieve Amerikaanse interventies in het Midden-Oosten.
Wij eisen dat de Belgische regering en de Europese Unie de moord op Soleimani veroordelen en aankondigen dat zij niet zullen deelnemen aan een aanval op Iran en haar bevolking.
Wij eisen dat het recht van mensen overal ter wereld om hun eigen lot te bepalen zonder buitenlandse interventies wordt gerespecteerd.
Kom deze zondag, 5 januari 2020, om 14.00 uur naar de Amerikaanse ambassade zodat we samen blijven herhalen:
