Dear friends, We work hard as activists to get companies to acknowledge that doing the right thing for our health and environment is actually good for their bottom line. It works. After years of pressure, Tyson Foods, one of America's most polluting companies, committed to adopt real conservation practices on 2 million acres by 2020. It was a big deal. Tyson has been linked to one of the largest dead zones in U.S. history. If they could clean up their act it would have a huge impact on our water. Well, 2020 is here. But Tyson is far from meeting its promise. In fact, it's hard to see if there's any progress happening at all. Tyson may think that it's good enough for business to simply talk about conservation and get a little good press. We need to show them that we won't settle for less than real action. Activists are planning to deliver this petition at Tyson's shareholders meetings next month. It could be a huge moment where we show the company exactly how many people are watching them closely. Our strength is in numbers, so we'd have a lot more impact if you added your name too.
