It was great to see a diverse range of groups present such as the IWW, Haymarket books, Alliance for Choice, Organise! Ireland, Black Fox
Boox and our hosts Derry Anarchists. A steady stream of people enjoyed taking their time browsing the many excellent publications available
and stopping at different stalls for a chat. ---- The wealth of history and imaginative ideas for social change provided an interesting
theme of conversation for those that spent time at Pilot's Row today. The importance of understanding the past resonates strongly with many
people in Derry, a city that this weekend will be commemorating the tragic events of Bloody Sunday which took place on the 30th of January
1972. Some of us took a walk about the Bogside and stopped at some of the well organised museums that are run by dedicated people from this
community. The passage of time has done little to dispel the anger and sense of injustice that many feel, and the terrible events of that
day serve as a stark reminder of the power of the State to defend its own interests and prevent any meaningful justice on the victim's terms.

At GACG's table we handed out many flyers and spoke about anarchism to a variety of folk, some quite new to the philosophy others who wanted
to discuss how anarchist ideas can be made more accessible in today's world of information overload; there are no easy answers. One comrade
also took part in a talk about the history of anarchism, no small feat covering the bones of 170 years of history in a matter of minutes!
What's clear from today's well organised event is the continued need for a radical presence wherever and whenever possible. As we move into
2020, the need for real progressive social change could not be greater. Anarchism has been called the ‘slow burning fuse' before and it's
aptly named. The idea is too strong to die, and as long as there are people who care in this world then we will always have anarchists
somewhere, doing what they can to help others, doing what they can to promote ideas of self-organising and Mutual Aid.

As a group we are glad that we can travel and refresh our contacts with comrades from the past whilst being open to the new. We hope that
some of the many people in Derry for this important weekend will not only pay homage to the past, but give a thought for what could be
achieved if we think differently about our future.

Wednesday, January 29, 2020 ---- ... AND ANGER BECAME A FIRE! ---- "Here comes March" repeat one, and another, and again some threatening
the Power. As if the Revolt had gone to the beach on vacation ... But no, the clashes between encapuzadxs and esbirros continue in various
parts of the country. Perhaps in a minority and localized way, like a smoking and stubborn barricade that resists extinction. ---- A barrel
of benzine came to ignite the flames, that accelerating liquid was the murder of a barra brava[soccer supporter]while protesting near a
stadium. A police truck hit him brutally, attempts to revive the "Neco" between teardrops and water jets were unsuccessful. The tragic news
spread quickly and impotence took over a large part of the population. The sense of impunity of the henchmen has been installed for a long
time and is not casual, the murderous police officer was only on weekly leave.

Supporters of all colors promised revenge for the murder of Jorge Mora (the "Neco"), anti-fascist and union colocolinos[fans of Colo Colo,
the most popular soccer team in Chile]. Calls to protest his death multiplied throughout the territory dominated by the Chilean state and
anger became fire.

In a day that qualified as "one of the most violent" since October last year, 26 police stations were attacked and 46 police officers were
injured, one of them with burns on his face by a Molotov cocktail. Several supermarkets were collectively expropriated in Quilicura and San
Ramón, the Chacabuco administration and a bank were set on fire in Colina, a dozen buses ended up on fire and the town hall of Quilicura was
attacked.

Regrettably, the journey also resulted in the death of a man killed by a hit and a demonstrator, named Ariel Moreno, who was brain dead by a
police shot.

Parliamentarians demand the departure of the General Director of Carabineiros and the government supports the uniform. As emblematic social
democratic politicians, they present cold accounts and complain about revolutionary violence, arguing that in this atmosphere of conflict,
voters will be afraid to approve Constitutional change, about spilled blood and repression, nothing is said, because for the political elite
we are just a number. Paradoxically today, the "Anti-Protest Law" was published in the Official Gazette, which significantly increases
prison sentences.

Supporters of all clubs call to demonstrate on Friday, January 31, at 6 pm, in Praça da Dignidade.

See you on the streets!

AGAINST CAPITALISM, THE STATE, THE PATRIARCHY AND ALL AUTHORITY!

Gabriel Pombo da Silva, Ariel and "Neco"... This one also goes for you.

Doubtful preparation and costing which betray the amateurism of a team of mediocre managers ? It is undoubtedly necessary to see less the
mark of their incompetence there than a skilful cynicism. The times seem far away, when the violence of the economic world gave itself the
air of compromise, all wrapped in "  democracy  " and "  common interest  ".

In France as in the United States, the new barbarians do not bother with this traditional veneer of legitimacy: badly elected, they strike
quickly and hard, on all fronts, care surprisingly little to convince or appear credible, sow doubt with fanciful or inconsistent
statements, and ultimately rely on the effect of amazement and the distress of the populations to chain at an implacable rate the breakage
of public school, hospitals, universities, pensions, etc.

It would not be impossible, however, for naked brutality, past stupefaction, to end up amalgamating the most diverse popular anger against
it. Let us work to ensure that these are articulated in the social movement so that, in the next presidential election, they do not throw
themselves out of spite into the mouths of brutes who are much more terrifying.

Israel has been holding Jonathan Pollak in custody since the beginning of January, after an extreme-right group filed a suit against him for
protesting in the West Bank. ---- Israeli left-wing activist Jonathan Pollak is led to the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court for a hearing,
January 30, 2020. (Oren Ziv) ---- Israeli left-wing activist Jonathan Pollak will remain in custody for the duration of the hearings for a
private prosecution filed against him by an extreme-right organization, Ad Kan. The ruling ordering Pollak to remain in detention was handed
down by the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court last week. Pollak was arrested on Jan. 6 for refusing to appear in court after Ad Kan filed their
suit, and has since declined to post bail or commit to appearing in future hearings.

A private prosecution of the kind filed by Ad Kan is a rare procedure in which an individual citizen can file a criminal lawsuit via the
state. Pollak is one of three Israelis being sued by Ad Kan for allegedly "attacking IDF soldiers and Border Police officers." The group has
in the past infiltrated and secretly taped Israeli human rights organizations,

Pollak's attorneys, Reham Nasra and Gabi Lasky, demanded last Thursday that the court release him unconditionally. "Pollak has been detained
for almost a month as part of the private prosecution procedure, which we claim that the complainants have no authority to begin in the
first place," Nasra told the court. "Because the procedure itself is unlawful, so is the arrest warrant."

Judge Elazar Benjamin rejected the defense's arguments, saying that he did not have the authority to review the previous judge's decision to
issue a warrant for Pollak. Furthermore, Benjamin said during the hearing that Pollak "refuses to be released." Pollak told the court that
"my problem is not a financial one but one of principle, so these hearings are unnecessary."

While Ad Kan's complaint against Pollak and his co-defendants alleges that they attacked Israeli security forces, it does not provide any
evidence to show that they were personally involved in such an assault. Rather, it simply states that they were present at a demonstration
in which others - young Palestinians, it notes - threw stones at soldiers.

In July of last year, Pollak was physically assaulted by two assailants as he left work. The attackers reportedly yelled "leftist asshole"
as they beat him, before one of them pulled out a knife and inflicted light wounds on his face and arms. Neither of the assailants have been
caught.

Pollak, who was brought to the hearing in Jerusalem from a detention center in Tel Aviv, told the court: "The State of Israel rules through
a dual regime of repression, one of racial discrimination against its non-Jewish citizens, which grants privileges to Jews and military
dictatorship in the occupied territories. Some leftists complain that the court whitewashes the occupation. This is a mistake. The court is
not an external tool, but an essential part of the regime."

For Pollak, the decision to remain in custody is a positive one. He requested that he not be brought every week from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem
for hearings, and said the decision would spare him long journeys under difficult conditions in an Israel Prison Service vehicle as well as
his stay at a facility in Ayalon Prison, where he has been transferred before every hearing. Pollak is expected to remain in custody until
his next hearing, which is scheduled for Apr. 27.

In the wake of his arrest, and perhaps because of the spotlight on Israeli participation in West Bank demonstrations, Defense Minister
Naftali Bennett issued a statement last month signaling he would ask the army to issue administrative restraining orders to 30 Israeli
left-wing activists to prevent them from entering the West Bank. Such orders have not yet been issued.

Two days after Bennett's Jan. 20 announcement, Pollak was summoned from Abu Kabir Detention Center in Tel Aviv for questioning at a police
station in the West Bank settlement of Ariel over a new complaint by Ad Kan. The second complaint revolved around demonstrations in which
Pollak took part in the Palestinian village of Kufr Qaddum over the span of two years. Although he was already in detention, a restraining
order was issued against Pollak barring him from the West Bank for 15 days.

Palestinians from Bil'in along with Israeli activists hold up posters featuring Jonathan Pollak during the weekly demonstration against the
separation wall and the occupation in the village, January 31, 2020. (Oren Ziv)
Last Friday, Palestinians in the West Bank village of Bil'in held a demonstration against President Trump's peace plan, as well as in
support of Pollak, who for years took part in protests against the separation wall, which cuts off villagers from their land.

"We are here to tell Jonathan Pollak that just as you stood with us, we will stand with you so that the occupation ends, and we can live
together in peace and in justice," said Muhammad Khatib, an activist and resident of Bil'in. "You are part of us, we remember you as one of
the activists who stood with us in Bil'in in the past, and now we are standing with you."

"We support your decision to resist and not recognize the apartheid system," Khatib continued. "We will not recognize the right-wing groups
that use the state and this system to humiliate us or put pressure on you and other activists against the occupation."

Before each election, we hear from the media and our surroundings, on the one hand, the call to vote, on the other, disgust with the whole
politics. The flood of news and debates fights over which party and interest group is better or worse. However, before and after the
elections, the power to decide on matters that concern us is in someone else's hands, not in ours. Many prefer it. Not us. ---- And who are
we? People who have no possessions, influential contacts, or businesses. People who have to make a living from work. People who have to deal
with how to survive from the month to month, or how to save something for worse times. ---- And this is a problem that we feel no matter who
wins the elections. In short, capitalism and government will continue to be there.
So while the politicians with the most votes after the elections will benefit from new positions and power, career and economic
opportunities (that's what politics is all about), we will be in the same position as before the elections.

Obviously, we are asking whether society can only look like this because we do not see much room for a decent life in it. Not to mention
people who face not only existential problems but also oppression due to skin color, sexual orientation, gender, age or other circumstances
that disadvantage them. And while some parties are struggling for our voice and say they will set us free from these problems, it is rather
that only we ourselves have to help. Except for the election period, we do not exist. At least that's what it looks like, doesn't it?

So the question is: Where is the real power in society? Can we also have it without possessions and political careers? Our answer is that it
is potentially in our hands. In fact, literally. Power is in the hands of people who work, respectively. they will stop working. Of course,
not as individuals and not just because they do not want:)

Our power begins where we stand up for our interests in the workplace and in the communities and can enforce them. Where we connect with
other people to improve our working and living conditions. Where we do not rely on others, we act. That is where we exist.

Why do we come up with these ideas just before the elections? To be honest, we keep on speaking. However, we are annoyed that before the
elections, when the whole of society is more sensitive to the debate on change, there is no talk of how to organize independently of
parliamentary policy. There is no talk of what can be achieved between the elections. There is no talk of how we could set aside time and
energy in our busy lives. There is no talk of how to join for our demands, how to defend ourselves and how to build a strong and confident
movement without politicians, which could make not only small but also big changes.

But we will talk about it.

IN THE PLAY OF MIGRANTS / ON THE MORIA ---- On Tuesday 04/02 immigrants and immigrants who are trapped in Lesvos, living in the Moria hell,
have marched in protest of the inhumane conditions we all know we have (infant pictures live on scenes without rudimentary infrastructure in
a space meant to house 3,000 people and in practice stack over 20,000, with people being sardined every 20 in containers, with thousands
staying in tents around the CT in As mud and cold without doctors and nurses, with queues for hours even distribution of food and water,
would be liable to thrill anyone who continues to have even minimal humanity), and the new law on asylum,
The migrant woman's mobilizations were, of course, immediately confronted with MATs, who used irrelevant violence and made extensive use of
chemicals resulting in demonstrators, including dozens of children fainting, breathing problems and breathing problems CHECKMATE. The
government has described the protests as "provocative" and has summarized its position with something of an irrelevant far-right crown:
"more effective border guard, speeding up asylum procedures, increasing returns, establishing closed pre-departure centers". At the same
time it sent additional platoons to the island and directly threatened the demonstrators by saying that participating in the demonstrations
was "offensive behavior" that "does not comply with the asylum procedure" (generally ... if you ever want to get asylum,
However, in addition to the cops, the protest also found some "resentful" residents of the village of Moria who decided to block the course
of the immigrants / three who were claiming for themselves and their children certain conditions to finally leave the country. The "locals"
(the silencers here come in because they are known for the guiding role they have in organizing neo-Nazi / fascist groups in instigating
movements that are "spontaneous" and "partisan" themselves; unarmed people and children, baptizing themselves as "resentful residents") took
to the streets with the most famous nationalist banners, with galleries and patrols, while ringing the bells of the village. According to
themselves, the reason was that the demonstration dared to attempt to cross the village (!). In the face of this unthinkable
self-consciousness, then, our hospitable fellow citizens from Lesvos (and obviously here we are not sipping all the inhabitants of the
island or this particular village, but the portion that willingly stood next to the organized fascists and participated in the bashing)
chasing whoever was in front of them, in order to force the migrant women to return to the KYT.

ON THE PLEVRO OF ALL MIGRANTS

It is widely demonstrated that power - in every power - employs a multi-tried and very successful technique to shield and secure its
sovereignty. In a more 'technical' terminology we would call it 'fetishization' and / or 'mystification'. Despite the sophistication of the
term and the various expressions and forms it takes in human history, it is essentially something very simple and ordinary: human works,
human actions, human decisions, which serve very tangible and specific human interests, are presented as middle-ends. as natural (or
formerly, supernatural) phenomena. The purpose of this "filmmaking" is to deliberately conceal the human factor from the image, so that the
real - and most real! - responsibilities and intentions are concealed. At the same time, however,

How does this translate into our daily lives? Quite simply (though the examples are infinite, we will focus here on a specific part of
them): According to the image that the (so-called) "developed" states have diligently constructed, in order to always defend and safeguard
its interests. Of course, it seems 'natural' for some countries to be constantly in the midst of war conflicts and their inhabitants being
killed or mutilated on a daily basis for decades, while 'natural' also seems to be plagued by cruel poverty. It seems 'natural' for some
people to play their lives - in their own and in their children's - crowns / letters to escape the inferno of war, authoritarian regimes,
inhumane poverty and poverty. It seems 'natural' for many of them not to make it and drown in the sea or break away from land mines - often
with the help of their hired 'sheriffs'. It seems 'natural' that some people (if they can, of course, escape from all the previous ones)
stack up thousands in miserable conditions because they are simply not citizens of the country in which they were found. And if anyone has
accepted all of the above as "natural", it seems just as "natural" that some of them will die or suffer irreparable damage to their health
because of these conditions. Because it is 'natural' for other refugees and immigrants to not fit in, it is 'natural' for benefits not to
reach everyone, it is 'natural' not to have the same rights as the locals, it is 'natural' to have borders and nations and so on armed
guarding them etc etc ... It seems 'natural' that some people (if they can, of course, escape from all the previous ones) stack up thousands

everyone, it is 'natural' not to have the same rights as the locals, it is 'natural' to have borders and nations and so on armed guarding
them etc etc ...

But none of the above is truly "natural". And this is because, as we all know, war and poverty are nowhere to be found. Nowhere does it blow
disaster and death. Nowhere do borders, fences, mines, cannons sprout from the soil. No people have war on their blood. Nor should it be
considered 'natural', at least for anyone who does not want to earn the title 'barbaric', the lives of people who were not born on the same
side of the (artificial) border with him, are worth less than his own. . It is by no means 'natural' for the vast majority to survive by
selling - often in derogatory terms - its labor power, at the same time that a minority retains and accumulates the wealth that the former
produce with their labors.

All of the above are results of a specific, methodically designed and implemented policy. There are specific staffs behind it, specific
states and political leaders who lead it, there are names and addresses. And of course there is a productive system, other than capitalist,
that is fed and reproduced through this policy and is essentially what dictates it. It is a given that the West has been blamed for its
long-standing imperialist policies and military interventions for decades on the "side of the planet". And if - let's say, if - there is
still someone who does not understand this and continues to blindfold and deafen, he would probably not go beyond his pathological denial
even if they confessed in front of him, explicitly and with chorus,

So the states that are responsible for the conditions that compel these people to be uprooted are those who, when the oppressed arrive at
their door, are greeted with walls, fences, mines and hired armed patrols. It is these that open and close the flow of migrant input
according to the need for labor. By facilitating and making it difficult for refugees and migrants to enter Europe, drowning more or less in
the Mediterranean, they are increasing the number of those who reach their coveted destination, the "developed" West. Keeping them in a
state of lawlessness, they always have a rotating army of cheap, unpaid, unpaid, and "invisible" workers against any arbitrariness and
attack. By building concentration camps, they are disciplined and at the same time sending a message across our classroom. As long as
capitalism exists, as long as there is war and economic intervention, people will be forced to emigrate and the states of the "advanced"
countries will adapt their (anti) immigration policies to needs in the hands of labor, motivate the downstream when they need it. , they
will plant and reap racism when they are unnecessary.

A few months ago we saw the categorizations of "refugee" and "immigrant" once again become plasticine in the hands of the detainees to
match, as always with violence, the reality in the policy they want to implement. The tragedy is that the reason for this "renaming" and
hence the announcement of a "change of paradigm" for the management of the "refugee" was another tragic incident in a Moria dam where a
woman was killed and her child injured in a fire caused by cables due to malfeasance and the uprising that followed the population in
hearing the news. From SYRIZA's "charity" businesses we go to the most mafia "make them lifeless" of ND. Indicative examples of the new
government's writing in this direction were the merger of the Ministry of Immigration Policy with that of the Citizens' Protection
(something that a few days ago the government revoked admitting its ineptitude), blocking the issuance of AMKAs to newcomers deprives both
access to basic health care and education - as children who are not vaccinated are not accepted in schools - and to work - as having AMKA is
required by law proslipsi- the non-discharge of blockbusters EKAM squatter housing immigrants / refugees, etc. The highlight is the bill on
asylum, passed -After an unabashedly nonexistent "public consultation" - and that no more, nor does it substantially abolish the formal
'human rights' supposedly so far defined by international treaties and national law (in practice, of course, all this was always for those
in control of watermelon and knife, issues ... "interpretation"). In short, this bill aims to further reduce the already degraded access of
immigrants / refugees to health care, to "speed up" and to tighten the reception and asylum procedures so that any particular features of
each case are not taken into account. (medical, psychological or otherwise), but to fast-track procedures, greatly increasing the time
allowed for detention, while introducing the principle of "non-cooperation", an outrageous cloudy and arbitrary accusation that will
legitimize (without quotation marks anymore) any arbitrariness on the part of the Greek state. And recently, there has also been talk of
'floating dams' that are supposed to block offshore migratory flows (for the ridiculousness of this project we don't think we need to
comment on anything).

It is certain, however, that as before, so now, Greece - a member of both NATO and the EU, and thus a participant and co-responsible, not to
forget, of this policy - will continue to redeem its geographical position (as one of the key points of entry for refugees / immigrants to
the West), gaining huge amounts of money through European funding to continue to be Europe's goalkeeper. To continue to be a storehouse of
souls and a filter that will keep the "useful" for the bosses and "fly" (see: expel) the rest. And it will of course continue to do so with
the well-known national pride that distinguishes it when devouring European money.

But for us workers of all ethnic backgrounds, refugees and immigrants, victims of war and poverty are not subject to the management of state
mechanisms and economic elites. We do not allow human life to depend on decisions by transnational organizations such as the EU and Frontex,
national states and the needs of the economy. We cannot expect anything from the executors of power, from the memorials of death. What we
are proposing is the massive struggle to overthrow them and overthrow the entire political and economic system that creates hierarchies,
intensifies exploitation and, in times of crisis, exploits the state of exception and fascism as a political practice.

Against every power, we, now and always, respond with class solidarity. Tired of the wars and persecutions of every power and state,
refugees and immigrants, we are at the heart of our solidarity. They are our class brothers, the most underrated, maligned and insecure part
of our class, in the teeth of every little and big boss. It is our duty to preserve the dignity and freedom of movement of all workers by
erasing the boundaries drawn by the authorities for their nationals, but not the goods of the bosses, and demanding the immediate
legalization of all immigrants and migrants.

Always on the side of the weak, the oppressed, the uprooted of this world, regardless of color and religion, locals and "foreigners",
immigrants of yesterday, immigrants of today and tomorrow we join hands, raise our fists.
