While the state is fed by man violence, we are exposed to both state and male violence as women. We resist this violence in all areas of our
lives, and we become free as we resist.

It is not easy to be a "woman". No matter where we were born... In the east or in the west, in a small town or in a big city, our lives
always have been difficult. What we have faced with was very similar with each other. Even if we were very different, even if we speak
different languages, even if we didn't exactly "look like" each other; we had a piece inside every one of us, that was "no different" from
each other. The same things were taught to us; that we are fragile or weak, that we were awkward and foolish, that we must be well-behaved
and obedient. We were all bounded hand and foot by patriarchy.

The EU, the Turkish and Greek state decided to play with human lives. Several immigrants try to pass the borders from Turkey to Greece and
Europe, but are being blocked violently by Greek forces. The Greek government decided to close the borders with the support of the EU and

euros to the Greek state, while lots of money is spend for military and police operations. All this money and much more that's in the
pockets of those in power who get richer by exploiting our lives, could be used to help immigrants establish and live in Europe.

We are angry because governments play with people's lives. We want immigrants in our neighbourhoods, our schools, our working places and in
our social struggles. The earth does not belong to anyone, we demand freedom of movement!

The new issue of the anarchist revue Existence is devoted to housing, on a collective and solidarity level. ---- After we stopped publishing
Existence as a quarterly, we decided to publish at least two issues a year, not to predict how many pages it would cost. We have to admit
that we were barely able to complete the new Existence last year, after an incredible delay of eleven months. It reaches the readers only in
the following year. And as they say before the election: You will not grieve with a promise. And so we can (without guarantee) promise that
two numbers will be released in 2020. Given that no other purely anarchist periodical is published here, it would be worthy to fulfill that
promise...
This number of anarchist revue Existencewe devoted to the theme of houseprojects. As we write in the introductory article, we are aware that
this is not a revolutionary topic. Even so, we decided that it is more than important if we try to provide interesting inspirations from
elsewhere and to acquaint ourselves with activities that are born in our country. We live our lives here and now, so we have no choice but
to look for alternatives that the current system would allow us to do. We are not naive to think that it allows it in its condescension, but
on the contrary it is a complex search in the rule of law, which is primarily designed to assist the spinning and spinning of the wheels of
capitalism. And we want to live as much as possible in opposition to the current regime's goals of generating profit, increasing social
inequality and atomizing society, which is then unable to defend itself.

One of the areas we have to deal with daily is housing. A few years ago, squating was an alternative, but the neoliberal system deliberately
destroyed it with its repressive tools, regardless of the argument that homeless people and empty houses coexist. The legitimate and logical
process of occupying empty houses is officially unlawful, the idol of private property, the basic pillar of capitalism, must be protected,
even if the majority of the population is to live on the street (but it is also illegal there). Hausprojects try to avoid the constant
uncertainty of forcible eviction that floats over each squat like a dark cloud. At the same time, it seeks to enable community life in a
collectively owned house, where self-governing housing goes hand in hand with affordable 'rent' and the development of the principle of
solidarity across a growing network.

Something like this is missing in the Czech Republic. But we lack inspiration, for example from neighboring Germany, where similar projects
have been running for many years. First of all, it is the Mietshäuser Syndikat network, which is also mentioned several times on the
Existence website . The Prague Shared Houses team started to cooperate with this project, which has so far managed to translate the idea of
a network of house projects into Czech law. Although it may not seem that much, it is definitely a big step forward. This team, whose
members are our friends, also helped us to prepare texts on the topic and there is also an interview describing his activities and
intentions so far. You will also find an interview with a member of the Hausproject from Potsdam, a presentation of several projects that
appeared in the film This Is Our House!, a few words about the gentrification process, or an article about the problems that houseproject
teams often have to solve. The topic is complemented by texts on two community-based housing projects that are tied to private property, one
in our country and the other in Russia.

Off the topic, we look back on eleven months of local anti-authoritarian movement activities, where they have a special place to promote
autonomy in Rojava after the start of the Turkish invasion. Regarding foreign events, we evaluate the year of protests of the Yellow Jackets
in France and our friend Mikola Dziadok presents a lesson of repression in Russia.

The year 2019 was an opportunity to commemorate many round anniversaries: Emiliano Zapata died 100 years ago, Nestor Machno 85 years ago,
