We saw in the last issue of Alternative Libertaire that the technological choices of "intelligent" networks - known as smart grids in
techno-language - will influence the development of cities. We will observe in this suite what it is in rural areas. ---- The French
territory is very divided between the countryside and the cities, the state and the successive governments having never stopped wanting to
centralize the administration and the territorial organization. The current trend remains the announced death of municipal power, gradually
transferred to the intermunicipal authorities, but also the dismantling of local public services (hospitals, trains, schools ...). The
purpose of grouping into intercommunalities is to focus activity on economic poles without worrying about developing local life, such as the
road which will lead to the motorway, highlighting such an industrial pole, a source of wind ... services that are disappearing must be
compensated by digitization (or dematerialization). All this is the program whose "intelligentnetworks Are the tool. The overall movement of
the countryside is therefore to move towards cities with ever more cars and less and less construction of the locality. We will distinguish
two specific interests related to networks: energy networks and the deployment of residents.

Energy networks
The current policy of conquering renewable energies is completely linked to the development of cities and impacts the countryside in their
development. The fields of wind turbines that we see growing everywhere are strictly spread over agricultural areas, as are the large
photovoltaic areas ... All these electricity generators are in fact directly interconnected by "intelligentnetworks" And distribute their
electricity as quickly as possible where demand is, not necessarily producing if there is no demand. This demand to be met is found in urban
centers and requires very high voltage energy transport (to avoid losses). It is with this kind of device added to other older ones that we
end up with a five hectare transformer in the middle of a certain Aseyronnese causse (the Amassada) with its panoply of power lines so
numerous that it encircles villages. So there is an issue of production and territorial colonization here.

The development of networks (by RTE, a subsidiary of EDF) preceded the development of intelligent digital technology which only started to
develop with the Linky meter (Enedis, a subsidiary of EDF). The rural challenges are broader in terms of diversity than those of the city,
it is not a question of managing only consumption, but also the production and the transport of energies. In this sense, the "smart
occitania" program is the first European project of regional scope which aims to develop "smart" management of electricity production and
distribution. This public-private partnership (PPP) develops "predictive" technology»: To predict what will be consumed via personal data
and thus regulate production in real time on a regional scale. This project illustrates the wide gap in institutions. Carole Delga,
president of the Occitanie region, blows in small towns that "wind power is starting to do well" and in the beautiful salons that it is
necessary to "develop the production of renewable energies". What is certain is that there is a need for alternative energies to the current
model, but that it is certainly not a PPP that will improve the situation of energy management.

This development also poses an agricultural problem. Energy production by farmers will compete with their food production and may jeopardize
or at least destabilize their operations. Agricultural land is also a land of predation for developers and its value will again be subject
to further speculation because of this energy production. To conclude on this subject, we recall that the intelligent networks which collect
our data via meters and other connected objects are inseparable from the technologies of industrial production of intermittent electricity
(there is not always wind to make turn the wind turbines) . Energy cannot be stored, it is therefore necessary to control the inputs and
outputs so as not to overload the networks.

What about the inhabitants ?
The production challenges are closely linked to the development of the territories. The countryside is emptying more and more, local
services are being lost and social ties are being eroded. The technocrats who lead us have only the word dematerialization in their mouths,
combining it with an ecological discourse, while emphasizing that digital services will be better because "more efficient". On the other
hand, rural people can no longer do without dematerialized services, since proximity no longer exists. It is therefore very hard to build a
coherent struggle movement on this divisive subject. In a territory like the Grands Causses natural park, it is downright openness to
installation and construction that is blocked. In the community of Muse and Raspes, 15 hectares of land are allocated for construction over
the next 20 years. Five of these fifteen hectares are for the Saint Victor transformer, the rest for a few industries and a transport platform.

What is happening in reality is that people are no longer welcome in the countryside, unlike interconnected energies. The municipalities are
therefore doomed to be vitrified with "heart of the village" actions to attract tourists with beautiful cobbled streets, and people who
would like to settle down are called upon not to build. The reckless who remain have only to be satisfied with having a car to go to work in
town, to spend their money there and to take the beautiful brand new roads to return. Because there is always money for concrete workers.

Macron therefore decided to use article 49.3 of the Constitution to force through his pension reform. Édouard Philippe announced it in the
Assembly gallery this Saturday, February 29, when the green light had just been given to him during an extraordinary Council of Ministers.
Thus, a new version of the bill, used to deputies today, is considered as adopted at first reading by the National Assembly, without vote.
---- Is this really a surprise coming from this government which is forcing all of its policy into force by all the authoritarian means at
its disposal? Police repression, requisition of strikers... and now 49.3. This government and its policy are less and less legitimate every
day. Anger accumulates everywhere. While the first phase of the renewable strike is over, the government hopes to finish the pension issue
as soon as possible, because it knows that the social situation remains explosive.

As in 2016 with the labor law, the use of 49.3 makes the idea of parliamentary resistance illusory. We have nothing to expect from a
hypothetical censure motion or the result of the municipal elections, we can only count on our own strength. Despite the obstacles and
difficulties, only our mobilization, that of the workers, in the strike and in the street will be able to reduce this power in the service
of the capitalists.

The Libertarian Communist Union calls to mobilize now in the rallies that are organized everywhere in France in reaction to this use of
49.3. We must immediately prepare for a second round in this battle, with the prospect of March 31. Beyond a great day of successful
mobilization, we must give ourselves the means to launch a new wave of strikes and mobilizations in early April. The day of March 5 in
higher education, the feminist mobilizations of March 8, or the demonstration of the 14 must be as many points of support to continue to
build relentlessly the general strike.

49.3 or not, we continue the fight!

Jonathan Pollak, an anarchist accused of attacking FDI (Israeli Defense Forces) soldiers, was released from prison in Israel on February 20.
He was released after Israel's attorney general's office ruled against the lawsuit against him filed by the far-right NGO Ad Kan (So far).
---- Pollak was arrested on January 6 after the far-right group Ad Kan filed a lawsuit against him for protesting in the West Bank and
allegedly "attacking IDF soldiers". ---- During his detention, Pollak refused to pay an NIS 500 bail to withdraw "recognizing the legitimacy
of the Israeli system". The attorney general's office recently ordered a criminal investigation against Pollak for "inciting terror" in an
article published online. ---- Mohammed Khatib, one of Pollak's Palestinian comrades, wrote about the arrest last month in 972:

" My friend Jonathan was arrested... (and not for the first time) on charges similar to the ones I faced. Unlike me ... he will face trial
in an Israeli civil court, which should protect citizens' rights, but in practice protects colonizers, soldiers, and those who defend
apartheid and occupation. Because he supports our cause, I don't expect him to find justice.

Due to the nature of his arrest, and because he is not a Palestinian, Jonathan could pay NIS 500 bail and get out of jail. But he is a
person of principles. He saw me and countless other Palestinian friends arrested on false charges, powerless to prove our innocence. So, he
decided to refuse bail and remain in prison. He will not play according to the rules of a fraudulent system against justice ".

While denouncing Ad Kan's action, the attorney general's office ordered a criminal investigation to be opened against Pollak for "inciting
terror and violence" in relation to an article he wrote in the Israeli newspaper Haaretz.

This new movement is the next step in a series of repressive policies by the Israeli state and the extreme right against those who oppose
Israeli colonial policies. This begins after Israel's defense minister, Naftali Bennett, has indicated that he will issue "administrative
restraining orders" to prevent Israelis from participating in demonstrations in solidarity with the Palestinians. On January 18, Bennett said:

" Tonight, I ordered the FDI, for the first time, to issue administrative restraining orders against anarchist activists, who carry out
violent acts against FDI soldiers, mainly in the events held against the[separation]fence in Bil'in, Naalin, Kadum and Nabi Salah - and are
led by Jonathan[Pollak]".

Bennett's threat, calculated to coincide with Ad Kan's lawsuit against Pollak, suggests that the Israeli state and far-right groups like Ad
Kan are working hand in hand.

Palestinian resistance to Trump's Peace Plan and Zionist colonialism continues.

After concert 14.3. will be another event on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of our union to launch the Slovak translation of the book
"Fighting for Ourselves: anarcho-syndicalism and the class struggle". The book was published for the first time in 2012 in the UK and was
translated and published by The Breakpoint Publishing House . Baptism will be attended by a co-author of a publication from the Solidarity
Federation (MAP UK), so there will be room for discussion not only about the book itself, but also about SF's work. "We fight for ourselves
- anarcho-syndicalism and class struggle" is considered one of the best texts on anarcho-syndicalism, with which we can only agree. See you
on March 28, 2020 at 16:00  in the Bystro community center in the Carpathian 3.

Book snippet:

This publication aims to illustrate the forms and content of anarcho-syndicalist theory and practice, while refuting the most common myths
and misunderstandings. We will explore the differences in anarcho-syndicalist ideas and how they adapted to changing conditions, outline
their relationship to other traditions and anarcho-syndicalist criticism of these traditions. We will then move into the recent past,
analyze the world after World War II and the current conditions for organizing. We will explain how our organization envisions a new
revolutionary syndicalism and outline the practical steps and strategies to achieve it.

We will also prepare small vegan delicacies, followed by an open meeting for people interested in developing class-oriented activities in
the region.

We look forward to meeting.

Let's put an end to the Europe-Fortress. ---- Paraphrasing the words of Italian Communist Antonio Gramsci, as the new world of universal
human emancipation and generalized self-management is still struggling, through the incessant efforts of the subordinate strata, to be born
through the dissolution of its cruel and cruel old world so barbaric, we will continue to live in the age of monsters. All social woes have
material causal causes, which can be traced back to the roots of the capitalist system itself. Capitalism is the system of class antagonisms
and social inequalities that result from the private possession of the means of production by a handful of parasitic capitalists, backed by
the individual state mechanisms, as well as a range of means of enforcing the dominant ideology and mentality that are at work (see
institutional education, church, media regimes, etc.). This undeclared human-to-human system of exploitation, governed by insatiable
competition, individualization and securing private profit through the reproduction of capital, derails the surplus value of socially
generated wealth, produces poverty, poverty, poverty, poverty and war.

In recent days we have been sitting on burning coals, watching over the Aegean islands and the Evros border. Thousands of refugees have been
trapped at the Evros border, surrounded by Greek and Turkish police and soldiers, smothered in chemicals, faced with auras and real fires,
which are currently being thrown into the air. Those who manage to cross the border are abducted by the Greek authorities and by
paramilitary elements (see plates without plates) and transferred to police stations. In Lesvos and Chios, anti-immigrant pogroms are
emerging from "resentful" residents who are openly supported by nationalist groups and local New Democracy. At the same time,

The cauldron is boiling... At the heart of this ruthless barbarism lies the oppressed of this world, the refugees and the immigrants, who
are desperately searching for a better fate for them and their families. They have been displaced from their homes because of the
imperialist wars and the rapid economic downturn. However, the response they find from Western capitalism and its states is banishment,
social exclusion, entrapment and racism.

The media regimes, under the full guidance of the bourgeoisie and the government, reproduce the narrative of the inevitable invasion of
irregular migrants, raising the issue to an alleged threat to the Greek state's sovereignty. In an effort to completely renounce their
responsibilities, the propagandists and the subordinate means of propaganda are trying to disperse racism and rehearse the conservative and
nationalistic reflections of society. Once again the powerful and the privileged attack the pariahs and the weak, disorienting public
opinion, reinforcing chauvinism and social cannibalism.

But the fish smells from the head. So let's see through a sober, classical view of who is responsible and who is so cynically portraying the
unmarried ... In the so-called immigration crisis, the executioners and their close associates are systematically trying to blame their
victims, public sphere as being responsible for undermining working conditions and prospects, as well as for deteriorating the standard of
living of local populations. Commanders in social life, however, are in fact the economic and political powers, the privileged and the
pillars of the capitalist system.

Initially, NATO, the imperialist, transnational, military union of which Greece and Turkey are members, is responsible for a series of
military interventions in the Middle East and North Africa. These war interventions aim at reshaping the geopolitical chessboard by
redistributing energy resources and energy transit flows, opening up new markets and business opportunities through the insatiable
exploitation of raw materials and the laboring hands of the regions in sight. cyclone. Of course, we must bear in mind that where there are
war fronts and war preparations, the armaments are enriched for the good by equipping the individual states. Still, after the period of
widespread disaster (always accompanied by imperialist war), which is going to destroy both parts of fixed (means of production) and of
variable (workers / workers) capital, there is always a period of development of capital reconstruction, even if it is carried out on debris
and corpses. This is the most tried-and-tested way capital has to overcome the emerging structural crises of capitalism. The Greek state has
been providing consultations over time to NATO and the US, which it recently ratified, even more emphatically, through the Greek-US
agreement to upgrade existing NATO bases in Greece, with the prospect of new bases and open-ended use of time. all NATO installations in the
Greek territory. Tense imperialist rivalries in Europe's south-east have turned Greek territory into a vast US-NATO base. The Greek frigate
"Spetshe" sailed from the port of Toulon, to accompany the French Charles de Gaulle on the Strait of Ormuz, to patrol the Persian Gulf and
the Gulf of Oman with cannons directed at Iran. Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias has said Greece is ready to send its troops to Libya to
"restore order" to the imminent civil row between the official regime of Islamic Prime Minister Fayez al-Sharajin, and the US Army. who
heads the National Libyan Army. Alongside, From February to August 2020, the largest NATO exercise of the last 25 years is to take place,
dubbed the "Defender of Europe 20" and will extend along Russian border lines and in countries hosting major US administrations; Nato.
37,500 NATO troops will participate in this exercise (20,000 from the US mainland and 9,000 US troops camping in Europe!). So, with tangible
evidence, how NATO is entangled in so many wars that bring about destruction and uprooting as it prepares for its next bloodbath. 500 NATO
troops will be involved in this exercise (20,000 from the US mainland and 9,000 US troops camping in Europe!). So, with tangible evidence,
how NATO is entangled in so many wars that bring about destruction and uprooting as it prepares for its next bloodbath. 500 NATO troops will
be involved in this exercise (20,000 from the US mainland and 9,000 US troops camping in Europe!). So, with tangible evidence, how NATO is
entangled in so many wars that bring about destruction and uprooting as it prepares for its next bloodbath.

Crucial to the existing management of the migration issue is the shameful EU-Turkey agreement, which on the one hand allows for the
repatriation of immigrants, on the other, renders the Greek territory a storehouse of souls and a "fortification zone of the states" of the
EU. The potential seems to have been covered, which is why the institutional façade that allows the free passage of migrants to EU countries
has been closed for years. The Europe Fortress, Europe closed borders, land-plus and sea? - fences, concentration camps, FRONTEX military
patrols and national armies. The EU is therefore responsible for the over-crowding of refugees on the islands, for drowning and wrecks in
the Aegean and the Mediterranean,

The Turkish state, on the other hand, is clearly trying to exert pressure on EU states to provide their political, economic and military
support to Turkey's imperialist intervention in Syrian territories and its recent conflict with Russia. In the last month alone, Turkey's
military operations in Syria have, however, caused 1 million refugees. Erdogan is blackmailing and threatening the EU because, as he said,
the terms of the EU-Turkey agreement have not been complied with, which, among other things, provide for a $ 6 billion financing of Turkey
by 2016. euro to keep refugees in its territories. Turkey claims, however, that it has not received any financial assistance. Now it has
been promised by the EU to pay 1 billion euros, however, the Turkish government remains skeptical. At the same time, the Turkish bourgeoisie
and Erdogan are trying to pressure the bourgeoisie of Greece and the Mitsotakis government on the energy front on the issue of delimitation
and exploitation of EEZs (see Turkish-Libyan pact, drilling and exploitation). plot).

The Greek state, bound by the chorus of Euro-Atlantic imperialism, is obliged to discipline itself in the dictates of NATO and the EU. Its
policies are in full compliance with the guidelines of the above imperialist organizations. But let's look at the writing examples presented
by the present government of the New Democracy, which took over the anti-immigration - and anti-popular - policy from SYRIZA. . Since July
2019, when elected, the New Democracy government has so far merged the Ministry of Immigration Policy with that of the Citizen Protection
(something that the government a few days ago declared admissible in its imposture) to block the issuance. newly-arrived asylum seekers,
that deprives both access to basic health care and education - as well as children who are not vaccinated are not accepted in schools - and
to work - as well as having a PWD is required for legal recruitment - as well as vacations - overproductions of immigrant / refugee seizures
etc. The highlight is the asylum bill, which passed - after a shameless non-existent "public consultation" - which neither removes nor
substantially removes " human rights' supposedly defined by international treaties and national law (in practice, of course, this has always
been for those who have both watermelon and knife in hand, issues of 'interpretation'). In a few words, this bill aims to further reduce the
already degraded access of immigrants / refugees to health care, to "speed up" and to tighten the reception and asylum procedures so as to
disregard any particular features of each case (medically, psychologically) or other), but to sneak into fast track procedures, greatly
increasing the time allowed for detention, while also introducing the principle of "non-cooperation", an outrageously cloudy and arbitrary
category that would legalize (without quotes now) any arbitrariness on the part of the Greek state. The next step planned by the government
is the creation of closed detention centers from the construction of which the following contractors will be treasured: TERNA SA, AKTOR SA,
MYTILINEOS SA, having, of course, huge tax breaks. Massive deportations of immigrants will be launched from these closed detention centers.

The entire communication mechanism of the government and the media of the neo-oligarchs have unexpectedly and intensely cultivated
xenophobia and racism lately, nourishing a warlike and chauvinistic climate. In fact, immigrants are currently trapped in the vanguard of
imperialist competitions and capitalist dictates. They are used as bargaining papers by the respective state authorities. The task, then, of
the labor-populist movement, the task of anyone who wants to be called a human being, is to exert political pressure on the imperialist
centers and the Greek state, to stop the odyssey and the suffering of the oppressed, to stop the wars that have begun. .Refugees and
immigrants are fleshed out by the flesh of the wicked populace and as such we must defend them against all forms of arbitrariness and
barbarism of states and capitalists. We therefore have to stand firmly on the side of refugees and immigrants. We demand that the borders be
opened immediately and that immigrants be released. We demand the provision of public care and housing for those wishing to stay in Greece
and the necessary documents for those wishing to move to other European countries. We demand to remove obstacles to asylum procedures,
social exclusion and the deprivation of work and welfare rights by immigrants.

Let us actively engage in the issue of social liberation, to write the epitome of statism and capitalism, to inaugurate the era of
emancipated humanity through the construction of a disordered-extremist society, a libertarian communist society based on liberalism.
equality, solidarity and self-organization, focusing on meeting the needs of the community and on the individual's free self-realization. We
can and must create a world for everyone and not for a few, as long as we rely on our collective strengths.
