#Warning: it's a #truly #disgusting #sight.

The murder of this giraffe was perfectly legal. Sign to demand that South Africa ban cruel trophy hunts like these.

Dear friends,
In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, global travel restrictions are in abundance. But in 2017, when Tess Thompson Talley decided to fly to South Africa to murder a giraffe for fun, there was nothing to stop her, including the law. That's right — despite the fact that giraffes are considered a vulnerable species, hunting and killing them is completely legal.
According to a 2016 survey, there are fewer than 100,000 giraffes left in the wild. Over the last generation, almost 40% of the species has been lost. This is not helped at all by the fact that giraffes can be legally hunted in South Africa — despite their vulnerable or endangered status. We must fight for a ban on any and all trophy hunts in the country. Will you add your signature to demand South Africa place a total ban on trophy hunting?
Thank you,

P.S. The photo of Tess' trophy hunt is truly a disgusting sight, but we must use it to spur the South African government to take action for animals. Please call on South Africa to ban trophy hunting now.
