A SHORTAGE of personal protective equipment is leaving NHS workers at risk - so far over 20 have died of Covid-19. But in Friday's press
briefing, health minister Matt Hancock blamed care staff themselves for the shortage, accusing them of misusing it. Here's what he said:
"There's enough PPE to go round, but only if it's used in line with our guidance. We need everyone to treat PPE like the precious resource
that it is. That means only using it when there's a clinical need, and not using more than is needed... Many items of PPE can be used for a
whole session, not be changed after treating each individual patient." He then repeated: "There's enough PPE to go round."
OUR CARE HOMES HAVE BECOME CHARNEL HOUSES
MATT "HERCULES" HANCOCK
should face a war crimes
tribunal in the Hague for
allowing the current massacre in
our care homes to proceed as it
has. We are hearing too many
reports from across the country
of care homes where 15 to 20
residents are being found dead
every morning - one home in
Yorkshire found 40 dead.
We're hearing that para-
medics have been told not to
collect any elderly people from
care homes who are showing
symptoms of Covid-19, and
only to collect their corpses.
Previously they would have
been taken to A&E.
Patients are understandably
frightened. Staff are fright-
ened as well - frightened that
they can't automatically make
patients better, can't make the
situation better; and frightened
for themselves, their loved ones
and their colleagues.
Care home morale is at an
all-time low. One care assistant
told Class War Daily:
"We know a lot of the people
coming in. It's absolutely
heartbreaking - we can do
nothing for them except wash
and cuddle them, putting
ourselves on course to pass
the virus to them and their
families. Then we see Hancock
on TV saying there are loads
of supplies and we should use
them more than once. Even
once would be an improvement
- we haven't got any.
"There's a kamikaze mood
growing among some care
assistants who go on wearing no
PPE and cuddling the residents.
It's almost a rational response to
what they are facing. It's like a
medieval charnel house - that's
all I can say."

Many movements, especially in the field of ecology, have as main strategy that to challenge "public opinion" so as to put pressure on
"decision makers". Carrying out symbolic actions to strike a blow at the spirits and cast a blame on those responsible, they become
dependent on the dominant media and social networks to reach out widely. Can we avoid this contradiction Is the end worth the means ? ----
In 1986, six months after its founding, Act-Up hung a banner on the towers of Notre-Dame de Paris to denounce the attitude of the Catholic
Church towards the AIDS epidemic. ---- Today, it is in particular the environmental movements which mainly use this strategy: to challenge
public opinion by denouncing by symbolic actions the responsibility of companies and institutions, to create a massive reprobation to force
them to move. This is a different strategy from the one traditionally used by wrestling unionism, the main tool of which is the strike,
which on the one hand produces economic pressure and, on the other hand, allows workers to self-organize in struggle.
Today, while capitalism in its neoliberal form has destructured the wage-labor and the collective work, thus weakening the force of the
organized proletariat, one cannot ignore the need to combine the strategy of direct action (strike, blockade, sabotage) to that of the
conquest of public opinion. From Total to Gafam to Bayer-Monsanto, large companies and even institutions sometimes fear strikes less than
the "reputational risk" that the threat of symbolic actions of denunciation poses on them.
Marketing principles and material struggles
The struggle against capitalist exploitation and against oppression is above all a material struggle, but it is also an ideological
struggle. In an era where the idea that there would be no alternative has won the cultural battle, it is necessary, if we want to develop
the material struggle, to advance on the ground of broad conviction.
We must erode consent, polarize opinions in our favor, get the "neutrals" out of their neutrality, lead them to be scandalized, a necessary
step to perhaps one day take action and thus lead a material struggle. It is about revealing things, morally denouncing situations and
naming the people and institutions responsible for them [1].
The difficulty is that attacking the dominant culture requires going to face it also on its own terrain, that of the dominant media, and
satisfying a few basic marketing principles.
In terms of the battle of public opinion, it is necessary to differentiate between what concerns us, the depth of our analyzes and our
project, and what we are going to say to be heard. From #BlackLivesMatter to #MeToo, we have 280 characters [2]to get our ideas across . It
is necessary to strike the spirits, to flood the media space to make the subject impossible to ignore and to ensure that as many people as
possible appropriate it.
Strong, symbolic images are used to create a media buzz and force people to position themselves, while being perceived as legitimate by the
public opinion that we are targeting. It is to signify that the movements which follow this strategy speak of "civil disobedience", to
signify that they place the legitimacy of the actions above their possible illegality.
However, since the use of violence is rarely perceived as legitimate by the "general public", non-violence is a fundamental characteristic
of these modes of action [3].
"Punch action: realization of a"still life"by militants of Attac, the Confédération paysanne, Extinction Rebellion and RadiAction, May 22,
2019 in Garenne-Colombe to denounce"the ravages caused by Bayer-Monsanto which generate a toxic society for peasants, citizens, biodiversity
and the environment".
Other channels than ours
The battle of public opinion questions the tension that exists between minority radicalism and majority aspiration. When it comes to the
dissemination of ideas, there are two distinct battlefields. Books, articles, debates, gesticulated conferences, YouTube pastilles,
leaflets, interest people already convinced and allow them to enrich their opinions and analyzes. But if it is a question of diffusing our
ideas to people not convinced, it is necessary to pass by other channels than ours, and in particular by the dominant media.
We cannot ignore that even the fact of becoming a majority does not make change inevitable. "Changing minds to change the world" is
undoubtedly necessary, but it is not enough. This all the more since the fact of "opening your eyes" to a situation does not necessarily
mean having everyone the same project to transform it: the surrounding confusion is proof of this.
If the media actions make it possible to advance to the "general public" new understandings of reality, alternative values to those
disseminated by the dominant culture, it is essential to develop collectives within which to build a common political analysis from our
situations, experimenting with self-organization, and taking concrete action to materially transform the structures of exploitation and
oppression [4].

Does the end justify the means ?
A symbolic action is only worth by its dissemination. If journalists do not come to relay the action, then it is useless if not to have fun.
Thus, to lead the battle of public opinion forced to depend on the media. But if we are fighting with the arms of the enemy, what does this
have for our objective of social transformation ? One of the risks is that doing actions becomes an end in itself, because you quickly
become addicted to creating images and short sentences and measuring their popularity on Twitter. We are then drawn into the entertainment
society which manipulates the crowds by the emotional.
Furthermore, a problem with this media strategy is that it is not likely to encourage democratic self-organization: it requires highlighting
media figures and / or developing privileged and therefore personal links with people. influential, even it requires a culture of secrecy to
make "surprise" actions . So very often this strategy can only be implemented by small groups who give instructions to others to follow
almost blindly ("RDV such day at such time and at such place: we will tell you then what we are going to do") .

[1] It is the practice of naming and shaming .

[3] Thus, the activists of Extinction Rebellion remain seated and non-violent when they and they are gassed at point-blank range on the
bridge of Sully, in Paris, in June 2019: it is to show that the police are violent in the face of pacifist people who are mobilizing for the
climate.

In the context of a global pandemic, the government still maintained the first round. These elections, the National Rally (RN) wanted to use
it as the first springboard for the presidential election of 2022. He generally lost his bet, but consolidated his local positions. ----
hile the media announced a hundred town halls that could potentially switch to the far right, it records results far below its expectations.
First of all, the RN only managed to deposit 430 lists, against 600 in 2014, which testifies to its difficulty in maintaining militant teams
over time. ---- We can think that the RN vote remains mainly a "rejection vote", with an episodic adhesion, and that the continual setbacks
of the party (business, betrayals, embezzlement, ...) have undermined the "dediabolization" started ten years ago years. The number of
official members has thus dropped to 20,000, compared to 50,000 claimed in 2017. Thus, in many regions (notably Île-de-France), the presence
of the RN was minimal, or even zero.
Aware of its weakness, the RN prioritized the North and South-East regions, hoping to win in 50 cities, against 11 in 2014. This strategy
did not pay off: only a few cities in the mining basin, in Hérault, du Gard and the Paca region have an RN list which can be maintained in
the second round, and very few are in a favorable position. This underperformance certainly relieves, but we should not be overjoyed ...
A setback for anti-fascists
Indeed, these results are distorted by the record abstention which, accentuated by the epidemic, reached 54.5%.
Then, even taking this into account, the RN mayors already installed, achieved excellent scores: six of them were re-elected in the first
round: David Rachline in Fréjus (50.6%), Steeve Briois in Hénin-Beaumont (74.21%), Joris Hébrard in Pontet (57.2%), Julien Sanchez in
Beaucaire (59.5%), Franck Briffaut in Villers-Cotterêts (53.46%) and Philippe de Beauregard in Camaret -on-Aigues (70.22%). Only
Mantes-la-Ville (78), where the RN made 30% in the first round, could be lost.
Despite the resistance work provided by the local unions, it is clear that the management of RN management has become commonplace in the
local landscape, both among the electorate and among the competing parties.
Finally, if the famous navy blue wave has not broken, the far right continues to gain ground. Perpignan could be the first city of more than
100,000 inhabitants to go under RN management: Louis Aliot is in the lead with 35.65% of the votes. Even with a score worse than expected,
Stephane Ravier, in the 7 th Marseille area, close to 20%.
In the Orange region, as in the old mining basin around Lens and Hénin-Beaumont, a territorial continuity RN, and more broadly of the far
right, is emerging, even if today still a lot of "apolitical" candidates are reluctant to display the label. In many places, especially in
the south-east, the right-wing parties have given up on any idea of a republican "dyke".
Faced with this, we sorely lack a popular and broad anti-fascism to combat nationalist ideas and their representatives. The nationalist risk
is there. Let's take the measure and organize ourselves accordingly.

An intervention took place on Tuesday, April 14, at the Sklavenitis supermarket in El. Venizelou in Patras from the anarchist group "dyne
horse" (member of APO) and comrades -isses. ---- Against employer terrorism; claims are not quarantined. Class solidarity is our weapon!
Banners were hung, texts were read from the duduk and leaflets were distributed to the world and workers. ---- Solidarity with the
supermarket workers who claim adequate self-protection during their work, unhealthy work allowance, test for all employees, filling
vacancies with new staff and not with a sack of existing, compliance with working conditions. ---- Solidarity with health workers and all
sections of the social and class base fighting against the pandemic and the attack of the state and the bosses. ---- To prevent the ongoing
state and capitalist crime.
Not a step back to our needs!
EVERYTHING FOR EVERYONE - FOOD, HEALTH, DRYING
The text of the intervention
REMEMBER TO PANDIMIA AND THE CONTINUOUS STATE AND CAPITALISTIC CRIME... SOCIETY WILL WIN!
For several weeks now we have been facing the specter of the deadly evolution of the COVID-19. virus pandemic. The vast majority of the
social and class majority are at risk of the disease and thousands of people in our class are dying en masse around the world. their protection.
The state and capitalist system of organizing society, which is already condemning millions of people to death from starvation, disease, and
military operations, is fighting not against the evolving pandemic, but to keep their privileges intact. and financially strong. On the
occasion of the evolving pandemic, a new round of attacks on workers and society is being prepared. What is presented today as "solidarity
benefits" to the social base, tomorrow we will be called upon to pay many times over at a huge cost to the lives of millions of people who
are already suffering from the unequal battle of our day.
Because the reality is that the battle against the evolving pandemic is being waged by the social and class base, despite the adverse
conditions imposed by its tyrants. The battle against the evolving pandemic is being waged by many and many who, realizing the danger to
their neighbors, are taking the necessary measures of individual and collective self-defense, giving up their backlog to buy what should be
readily available to the entire population. . It is given by doctors and nurses who, with self-sacrifice and tremendous individual effort,
give every bit of their energy by sickening themselves, in order to save lives. It is given by all the employees who are forced to go to
work every day, to the couriers, to the "take away" stores of the restaurant, to the media.
It is the social and class base that, in such difficult conditions, highlights its enormous potential, struggling to withstand a pandemic,
amidst the condition of generalized poverty and misery.
And it is the state and capital that continue to reproduce themselves, being not the solution to the pandemic, but an obstacle to tackling it.
- We demand the immediate and unconditional mass recruitment (instead of mockery with limited contracts and voluntary work) of medical and
nursing staff and the provision of all required resources and means, in order to meet the needs of the population in care, heavy and
unhealthy stamps throughout health personnel as well as welfare so as not to lead to complete exhaustion and serious risks to their own health.
-We demand the release of refugees and migrants from the concentration camps and the establishment of empty hotel units to protect
themselves from the pandemic, as well as the creation of special health structures for all.
- The imposition of every available resource is required by the stolen social wealth that the politically and economically powerful have
gathered in their hands and its disposal in the social body.
The resources for the protection of society as a whole exist and we have produced them for the workers, but their management is in the hands
of a few who have repeatedly proved that they are indifferent to human lives, in the face of power and their profits.
We prefer the creation of special solidarity groups that will take all the necessary precautionary measures in order to help the most
vulnerable in their basic needs.
Solidarity, mutual aid and struggle are not forbidden or quarantined. Class warfare, especially on the part of the rulers, has not been
quarantined and must not be stopped unilaterally.
We will continue to fight for a society that prioritizes the protection of the vulnerable, as the first and foremost interest in the needs
of society as a whole, the main concern is the well-being and service of society and not a strong caste that leads humanity to dystopia.
death, misery and control.

On April 13, Macron announced the gradual start of deconfinement for May 11. But the way he did it reveals the typical contradictions of a
capitalist state which finds that it is overwhelmed by the situation. Contradictions that will have serious consequences. ---- On the one
hand, Macron wants to satisfy employers and economists who are in favor of "reviving growth" as soon as possible. On the other hand, he must
listen to the exhortations of the medical profession to prolong the confinement as long as the country does not have the means to carry out
massive screening. ---- The result is therefore a compromise between our health and corporate profits: a reopening of schools to allow
parents to go to work ... but not cafes and cinemas for example. And screening tests for people with symptoms ... while the virus is
basically spread by the "healthy carriers" that are children and asymptomatic people !
Result: the epidemic will start to rise again. The hospital system will again be overwhelmed. We will experience periods of reconfinement.
No stock of masks, no screening kits, no productive capacity to meet needs, scientific research which must make up for years of delay for
the validation of a vaccine ... All this is the consequence of an economy capitalist obsessed with the short term, the just flow, the low
cost, the race for profit.
In addition to the health crisis, the world will have to face a gigantic economic crisis. To counter this, the solution promoted by Macron
is obviously not to overhaul everything to change the way the economy works, but to do everything to restart the machine and keep
shareholder profits at an acceptable level.
The hypocritical thanks
The speech started at 8:02 pm, to, according to the Elysée Palace, allow French women and men to applaud the caregivers. And so began the
President's speech, with a "tribute" to the workers in "first line", "second line" and "third line". But these thanks are very hypocritical.
Caregivers, the "first line", massively denounced for a year the collapse of the public hospital, in one of the biggest social conflicts
that affected the hospital sector. Cashiers, street collectors, social workers, "second line Have been protesting for a month against their
deplorable working conditions. And confined employees, the "third line" are furious with the management of the crisis by the government.
Responsibilities not assumed
Above all, Macron pretended to recognize shortcomings in this crisis management, without taking responsibility for it. The shortage of
masks, tests and hydro-alcoholic gel would only be unfortunate accidents that had to be resolved ! While this corresponds to the policy of
destruction of the public hospital, cuts in public spending on the back of our health !
And the irresponsibility of power continues with the prospects of deconfinement. The government had already explained to us that the
systematic wearing of masks was useless, since there were not enough masks. Now, wearing masks becomes useful, since orders will arrive ...
but it is the systematic tests that have become useless. Only tests of people with symptoms would be welcome. This contravenes the
explanations of scientists, who say that one can carry the virus without having symptoms, and that one must therefore test everyone to be
able to confine only contagious people.
Shareholders will not pay
The purpose of these lies is to weigh the deconfinement on individual behaviors, rather than to question the law of profit. It would be
possible to really put production at the service of needs if we decided to change the rules of the game, if we decided to offer everyone
decent living conditions rather than guaranteeing a few scandalous profits. To begin with, we could recover the dividends paid to
shareholders. This money is the profits they make thanks to our work, when it is useful for once ! Let him pay for systematic tests and
masks for everyone. Let it maintain the wages of all workers in non-essential sectors.
Already today, many of these employees are at work, taking risks for their lives and those of their loved ones, taking the risk of spreading
the virus. And those who are unemployed find it difficult to make ends meet.
In 2019, CAC 40 shareholders received 60 billion euros [1]. But rather than recovering this money to stem the health and economic crisis,
Macron prolongs the system of partial unemployment: it is therefore up to the State, therefore to our taxes, to compensate the employees.
Macron also promises aid for poor families and students. So be it ! But this money comes from our own coffers, rather than from the pockets
full of employers.
Even worse. To allow a wider resumption of activity on May 11, Macron announces the reopening of schools. Placing hundreds of children,
particularly vector and asymptomatic, by the hundreds in establishments is irresponsible ! This is likely to start the epidemic quickly. But
above all, it will free the parents to return to work.
Macron plays balancing act
What Macron is looking for here is a point of balance: being able to keep corporate profits and dividends paid to shareholders at the
highest possible level, while containing the epidemic enough for the mortality rate to remain "acceptable". for the population. Because the
government is preparing for the next. And Medef has warned, according to its president, it willbe necessary " sooner or later to ask the
question of working time, public holidays and paid vacation to accompany the economic recovery" [2]. And that's good ! The emergency health
law precisely allows for a broad relaxation of labor law, until December 31, 2020 !
In short, it is not an economy of reconstruction of the country, as after a war, that Macron, the president of the bosses is preparing for
us, but rather an economy of reconstruction of profits.
Our struggles alone will be able to tip the scales, so that we don't pay for this crisis they are handling so badly, so that we can finally
decide for ourselves.

This group was thought by the companions and companions of the Federation Turinese Anarchist. Below the presentation text. ---- What we want
to do? ---- Create bridges that do not leave the most fragile alone, that allow building solid networks of mutual support. ---- They want us
to be isolated, divided, suspicious, to prevent the spread of psycho-police, to demonstrate that surviving the epidemic also depends on our
ability to organize, to fight, to support each other. ---- Will you use a mask? You don't know, you don't want to, you can't order it over
the internet? Look for someone who lives close to you and can help you. ---- Are you alone, fragile and unable to do your shopping? Point
this out here: you can find someone who will lend you a hand and another who you can be useful to, in turn. ---- Were you fined? Want to
know how to make an appeal? Check it out here: you can find someone who gives you the precise directions.
Are you hostage to your work? Are you afraid of losing your place if you protest because you don't feel safe in the factory, in the
workshop, in the hospital? Get organized with your co-workers and mark your struggle here on the list. If the media are silent, if
entrepreneurs are threatening you, letting people know what happens is so that others can move in solidarity, so that silence does not
facilitate repression.
So many people have a fever but are locked up at home without a test or medical visit. Many are afraid for themselves and for those who live
with them. Let us try to apply collective pressure to change the situation. A single drop is lost in the sea. Many drops can blow off a storm.
Faced with the epidemic, it is easy to find yourself fragile and unable to react. Especially if we are not so young, strong, if we fear for
our loved ones, for the people we wish well. The reality is very harsh. In the heart of the First World, in the center of the richest area
of the country, people get sick and die without a proper cure. They tell us that they have done the impossible, but the truth is told to us
by the basic doctors who are unable to admit even those who are in desperate conditions. We all know how things are going. In so many homes
there are sick people, who receive directions by phone, without oxygen, tests, oximeters: those who live with the sick risk getting sick and
spreading the contagion.
They say that everything is fine, but every day hundreds and hundreds of people die. Some people do not even know: they died at home,
without anyone testing them.
The corner we were descending over the past few decades has suddenly become precipitous. We are inmates at home, under military control,
watched by drones and apps. Prisoners, children, while the noise of ambulances tears the air, we are led to believe that we are responsible
for the unstoppable spread of morbidity, to hide the responsibility of those who yesterday and today are in the government of the country
and the regions.
Be clear: guaranteeing yourself and ensuring the safety of others, wearing masks and staying at a distance, is necessary today: each of us
is responsible for our own actions. We anarchists know well: for us individual responsibility is the pillar of a society of free and equal.
Conte[Prime Minister of Italy]issues edicts like a king and communicates them on national networks, while the oppositions are limited to
saying that he needs to tighten the mesh of the mass home confinement to which we are subjected.
They promised alms and those who can no longer pay fees, bills, we know that these bills will only be postponed.
In the periphery, fear and poor sales have caused so many neighborhood food businesses to close: it is easy to predict that few will reopen.
However, there are those who are unable to do their shopping: soon the government alms will not be enough.
The information has more and more the character of war correspondence, where the enemies are those who run or go to a more distant supermarket.
Whoever narrates his daily life in times of epidemic is threatened with dismissal.
Every day the media feeds irrational distrust, the hunt for the infectious.
They want to prevent the seed of doubt from germinating, from growing and strengthening the plant of criticism. We are all collectively
deprived of the possibility of knowledge and control over research, experimentation, the choice of objectives.
The Army is not just on the street to control lawbreakers who change every three days: in this country there are more police than doctors.
The Army is on the streets with armored cars because someone could doubt whether our homes are lazaretos where, one after the other, we will
all get sick. In silence.
Someone waits for it to end, motionless. Instead, however far the margins are, something can be done.
We must break the chain of isolation, with solidarity, mutual support, the construction of networks that make us more autonomous in relation
to the instituted, better able to exchange information about everyday life in times of mass home confinement, mask or a packet of noodles
where it serves, to develop a test collectively for those who are sick and closed at home.

Class resistance and labor struggles are not quarantined. ---- Supermarket employees are not alone. ---- The covid-19 pandemic, in addition
to its purely health significance, also acts as a valve to relieve the capitalist crisis and intensify the class exploitation of the labor
force by capital. In this explosive situation, the internal contradictions of capitalism are rapidly rekindling. The new phase of the crisis
of capitalism will have incalculable consequences for those at the base of the social and productive pyramid. The indicators of poverty,
misery and misery are skyrocketing. While those below are groaning under the yoke of state and capitalist barbarism, those in power and
political power, the capitalists and their political staff, are trying in every way to turn the crisis into an opportunity for their own
profitability.
Much of the production process has been suspended due to the pandemic. However, supermarkets are still operating. Employees working in
supermarkets are another example of "invisible heroes" struggling under extremely adverse and burdensome conditions to serve society as a
whole in these critical times for all of us.
Lately, the complaints of the employees who work in the supermarkets "come and go". Working hours have been completely deregulated.
Employees work up to 10-12 hours, often without breaks. Sometimes, in fact, they work until Sundays, whether the stores are open or closed.
The pace of work has intensified, new recruitments are being made with the dropper, where they are being made, with the result that the high
workload is burdening a finite number of employees. Many employees work part-time contracts (in some supermarkets 45-day contracts are
signed!) And overtime that is never paid. The gaps between the shifts are constantly being circumvented, creating unbearable exhaustion for
the workers. Employment pressures and threats are a daily occurrence, as are so-called redundancies. In many cases, the employer refuses to
grant special purpose permits to employees who are parents or belong to vulnerable groups.
Healthcare measures in many supermarkets are non-existent. There are dozens of complaints about deficiencies in masks and antiseptics. As a
result, many workers are forced to provide personal health care from their own backlog. In many stores the funds do not have protective
glass and the workplaces are not disinfected at regular intervals. Employees are forced to wear the same gloves throughout their shift,
touching many different surfaces, which can lead to health problems. In many supermarkets, in fact, the employer, through explicit
instructions, prevents employees from wearing masks, because it claims that they are unsightly and work disgustingly to the consumer!
Let's see, on the other hand, what this whole covid-19 story has brought to supermarket chain owners. It is certain that they are rubbing
their hands with this whole situation. The numbers themselves speak for themselves. In March 2020, supermarkets recorded a turnover of
740,000,000 euros. 30% more profits, that is, compared to March 2019. In addition, as we have all noticed, product prices have risen,
filling the pockets of bosses and "draining" our own. But what else have these experts done? They made advertising spots with which they
"thank" their employees. These are the same workers who pay poorly, who rubberize their work, who deprive them of basic protection measures,
who deprive them of their licenses, who threaten them to accept the employer's arbitrariness without protest, which - in short - make their
lives a "skate". But these Frankish killers don't stop there. Because their (fake) "compassion" is not limited to commercials, these
"open-handed" people thought in a peculiar way to give "bonuses" to their employees. However, this is not about unhealthy work bonuses, but
about mandatory checks, in order for employees to shop at a discount from the stores where they work. In this way, the only "bonus" that the
bosses give is finally returned to their pockets! These "bonuses" are called "death bonuses" by workers in France because they hide the lack
of protection for workers. threatening them to accept the employer's arbitrariness without protest, which - in short - makes their lives a

The bosses now use the health crisis of the covid-19 as an alibi for the further intensification of the class bloodshed of the workers
employed in their businesses. The main helper in this work is the state, which takes care to facilitate all kinds of capitalists in any way.
Thus, under a government order, any company can reduce the wages of its employees by up to 50% by reducing their working hours accordingly.
In addition, the state ideology of "individual responsibility", in addition to a cheap communication trick to deny the responsibilities of
civilian governments regarding the dissolution of the public health system, is in the second year the main ideological lever for the
socially acceptable acceptance of new austerity measures. hit the lower layers hard,
At a time when labor and social rights are being curtailed and multi-year, hard social and class struggles are being won, the capitalists
are demanding that workers' demands and trade union action be quarantined. They threaten workers in every possible way in order to accept
the barbarity and misery in their daily lives. They use as a fear the unemployment and misery that this entails. Certainly the conditions in
which we are currently living are not normal. They are difficult in every way. But we will never forget that the power of the world of work
lies in class unity, organization and collectivization, mutual aid and solidarity. The coordinated attack we are currently receiving from
the state and capital is aimed at perpetuating the current anti-social and anti-labor measures that have been imposed on the occasion of the
coronation. We must not remain inactive. We must act in a coordinated anti-capitalist and anti-state direction, away from any systemic
integration and retreat. The class struggle does not cease to exist in periods of denial of social fabric. Now the class struggle is getting
fiercer than ever. Now the bosses are trying to crush the overwhelming social base. They will find us in front of them in every way. We must

On April 15, 2020, supermarket workers 'unions have called for a nationwide mobilization demanding protection measures against the covid-19
pandemic, fighting against bosses' impunity. The hypocritical clapping at the suggestion of the executives of the -units for the present
situation- bourgeois governments and their attendees offer nothing to the demands of the workers. Their struggles are strengthened by
material and political support. In this regard, we express our full solidarity with our classmates, the employees of the supermarkets. Their
demands are also our demands, their struggle is also our struggle. Together, with class mobilization and self-organization, with a
relentless and militant stance,
On Wednesday, April 15, 2020, a day of nationwide mobilizations of workers in supermarkets, we chose to symbolically intervene outside a

of the industry, always helping the competitive initiative undertaken by the employees industry, in the class in question same subject ie.

We support the struggle and the demands of the employees in the supermarkets:
- Testing all employees who show symptoms or are considered suspected cases of the virus.
- Immediate recruitment to fill the gaps that exist. Full hours for all employees and not short-term employment contracts with a horizon at
the end of April.
- Conversion of all semi-employment contracts into full-time positions, with 5 days and 8 hours. Conversion of fixed-term contracts into
indefinite-term contracts.
- Strict adherence to working hours. Mandatory provision of the necessary rest time for the employees, in order to safeguard their health.
- Installation of protective glass in all supermarket cash registers.
- Installation of antiseptics in all funds and in central points of all supermarkets.
- Imposition of quarantine measures on those who have come into contact with a confirmed case of covid-19 in all areas of supermarkets,
offices, warehouses, shops.
- Extraordinary grant of unhealthy work allowance to all supermarket employees.
