Belgium ---- Ten branches of the supermarket chain Carrefour were closed down by workers on Friday April 3rd. They demanded more protection
and better pay during the crisis. They were in Charleroi (Gosselies), Antwerp (Berchem), Liège (Ans), Drogenbos, Wavre (Bierges), Kraainem
and in the Brussels municipalities of Auderghem, Evere and Etterbeek.When the supermarkets are raking it in with the crisis, putting up pay
is little to ask. More strikes may be in the offing. Earlier workers at the Delhaize retail went out on strike over lack of masks and
gloves. In a settlement with management they gained 500 euro bonus each in in-store vouchers .
Spain ---- Steelworkers at the Sidenor plant in the Basque country protesting over being forced to work in unsafe conditions were attacked
by police on March 30th who dispersed their protest. This is a police controlled by the joint Socialist and Podemos government. Podemos are
rapidly going the way of Syriza in Greece, turning on the working class after pledging to fight austerity measures.
USA
Workers at Amazon's Chicago delivery depot demonstrated outside on Friday April 3rd after 2 workers tested positive for COVID-19. No masks
or gloves are being provided by Amazon. They are demanding that the depot be shut down for two weeks and workers be kept on full pay, that
Amazon pay for medical treatment for workers and members of their families, the end of the rate system that Amazon bosses use to speedup
work, and the immediate reporting of any new cases of coronavirus to the workforce.
Turkey
600 metal workers at Gebze near Istanbul walked out on April 1st after management insisted on work going on after the reporting of a worker
who had tested positive. Earlier building workers in Istanbul went out on wildcat strike at various sites. In the southern border town of
Hatay, workers walked out at a filter factory. In response the governor of Kocaeli province banned strikes and demonstrations for 15 days.
Bangladesh
More than 550,000 tea plantation workers went out on strike on March 27th, 30th and 31st in the Moulvibazar and Sylhet districts after the
government proclaimed a 10 day holiday because of the spread of coronavirus for government and private sector workers in non-essential
services and the tea bosses insisted that they carry on working. Tea workers work and live in crowded and unsanitary conditions.
Papua, New Guinea
Health workers, including doctors and nurses, went out on strike on April 2nd at Angau Memorial General Hospital over lack of provision of
protective equipment. They demanded the sacking of the Chief Executive Officer of the provincial health authority and boarded up his office
(health workers here, take note!).
Australia
Sixty Melbourne dockers refused to unload a ship from China after it had stopped off at Taiwan and had docked at the port of Melbourne
before the end of the government's 14 day quarantine period. They were stood down by the port authority.
Kenya
Nurses in two hospitals in Kakamega and in Klifi went out on strike because of lack of PPE equipment. In Nairobi nurses protested over the
same situation.
South Africa
Nurses protesting at the Bongani Regional Hospital in Welko over safer transport after being forced to use taxis were attacked by the police
who used stun grenades and rubber bullets . Two nurses were hospitalised as a result.
In a separate event military police and soldiers attacked taxi drivers in Port Elizabeth after they went out on wildcat strike. They had set
up blockades and stopped informal taxi drivers from operating. They were demanding government compensation for loss of earnings because of
the coronavirus. Many taxi drivers were arrested and ten taxis were impounded.
Meanwhile prisoners in South Africa went on hunger strike after the false claims by the prison authorities that they were carrying out
sanitary measures.
Zimbabwe
Doctors and nurses at hospitals in Harare went on strike after reports of nurses dying from the virus. Conditions in Zimbabwean hospitals
are appalling with many without running water. Health workers are demanding PPE gear and a proper water supply as well as a risk allowance.
Elsewhere customs officers came out on strike over coronavirus concerns.

The outbreak of the Cov-19 virus pandemic brought to the fore all the stench of the state management system. From the first week we saw all
the fans of state incompetence and vulgarity spread in front of us: ---- We saw the health system, dismantled by the constant cuts that
every government has made so far "to save public funds" (the fact, of course, that immediately after the "public funds" they spread this
money to subsidized channels and banks, kickbacks, works-gifts to large contractors, etc. were not "advertised" just as strongly) to be
objectively unable to deal with the pandemic. ---- . We have seen doctors make constant public appeals to strengthen the public health
system, by hiring new health workers and creating new ICUs. And we saw the state, the "first lady" of which she did not have the basic shame
(well, we did not fall from the clouds) and called us "to applaud the health workers from our balconies", sometimes to ignore them
completely and sometimes to responds to their demands by calling them "fantasies" (as he did when doctors' unions called for the immediate
hiring of 2,500 health workers for a system with 8,500 (!) deficiencies). We saw promises of air for 2,000 recruitments and we saw about
zero (0) of them taking place.
. We have seen the state continue week by week not to provide not the necessary, but at least one (!) Number of tests for the virus. To
date, only 28,500 tests have been performed across the country, while many refugee / migrant camps have not even been tested for a single
sample! At the same time that people who have symptoms do not have a test to do so, those who can pay 290 euros can easily go to a private
center and not wait, like us humble mortals, to be provided by the public system. health.
??? We saw the representatives of the "State" tell us that there are no "money trees" for hiring doctors at the same time that the money
centers probably exist to fill the place with new patrol cars (SUV type for anyone interested), new cops, drones, helicopters , which, as we
learn from the government's enthusiastic parrots - the media obviously - "will be thrown into the battle against the corona" (which is
remarkable, as we ignorant people thought that this was done by... doctors!), even for F16 to make ass Ube above us on 25 March.
~ But our bosses don't even have the money to pay us, the poor ones. So the compassionate government has taken care to alleviate them, by

million euros to large toll contractors because due to quarantine, tolls have been reduced! (because obviously the big toll contractors who
have been receiving money from tolls for so many years, for roads that have already been paid for by the state, were also the ones most
affected by the quarantine and had to be strengthened!)

electricity, your water, your phone, your shopping at the supermarket... with half or no salary at all!

We were shocked to see the government give 11 million euros to the chancellors for the "campaign to protect public health and measures to
prevent the spread of the COVID-19 corona" at a time when everyone knows that the EODY spots are one of those channels must be shown for free!

Ministry, which for the most part told us that they are deceiving us, but they are doing well and they are deceiving us, in order to put our
minds (!).
~ And the "hardardalikia" do not end here either! We also saw the government give 30 million euros to private clinics for coronary
diagnostic tests. And where, overwhelmed by vulgarity, we have complained that it is unacceptable for this money not to be given to the
public health system, but to private big sharks who are notoriously outsourcing outrageous tests that actually send them to third-party
laboratories to do their best, we saw the best.: that a few days before the 30 million was given, the Prime Minister's Office received 3
letters from 3 different regional universities, announcing that they have certified laboratories for the detection of Mr. and how they can
offer their services directly and free of charge.
Of course, we are not shocked that the government has preferred to feed its friends by ensuring even a little of the lives of its
subordinates. But to be honest, we are surprised that after receiving the letters, he did not hesitate to give the "gift" of 30 million,
while the tests could be done for free, in the face of the possibility of becoming a reticulum when he learned later. But as it turned out,
the "best prime minister of the post-colonial era" does not have such moral inhibitions.
??? We have seen the government present the well-known video with the President of the Edessaikos every time he tries to "inform" us about
the use of a mask: they told us to wear masks only if we are sick and we told them (reasonably) that test to know whether we are sick or not
does not exist, and they answered us "to behave as if you were sick", so we asked them "so we should wear masks?" and then they.... we were
told not to ask nonsense! In general, the government tried in every way to convince us that "it doesn't matter that there are no baby masks,

We have also seen the government not hesitate to issue PUBLIC instructions to health personnel on what to do if there is a lack of
protection (!), Such as being careful not to splurge (!!). At the same time, he obviously did not take care to equip the sanitary facilities
(yes, yes, the same ones that Mareva called us to applaud from our balconies) with adequate protection measures. Result; Dozens of health
workers have already fallen ill and are out of action.
. We have seen the government suck our ears 24 hours a day through its now well-fed parrots, for "individual responsibility". At the same
time that all of us have shown the utmost consistency (because yes, the only one who cares about the social base is only the social base
itself over time), the government still allows huge job cuts that still do not pay off. No security measures are in place, and not even the
mass workplaces that have already been affected are closed, resulting in the death of another member of our class, once again with the
absolute responsibility of the bosses, in Sindos.
It is this same government that, while announcing "homeless accommodation structures", in some cities did nothing at all, while in some it
did 1 for the eyes of the world, leaving all the others homeless on the street (the fact that the same government then sent them Police
systematically throughout Greece to fine them for "unnecessary travel" exceeds even the sickest Kafkaesque nightmare), not to take any
measures to decongest prisons, psychiatric hospitals and refugee / migrant camps.

matter of time with the policy they are pursuing) to put the entire camp in quarantine, banning all movement at the same time. they throw at
those who have not understood what has happened, and try to buy everything as they always did, fines of 5,000 euros.
We can safely say that what is happening in Lesvos at the moment is one of the most immoral things we have seen even from THIS state:
newcomers stop wherever they are and are quarantined for 14 days ??u??? at the point stopped. As of yesterday, 127 people were forced to
remain stranded at the site where they were initially found, alone, in the middle of nowhere, next to roads and without any coverage from
the weather, without food or some kind of infrastructure in a martyrdom called "quarantine".

bourgeoisie will definitely need the most authoritarian measures they can think of to keep us. That's why the new patrol cars. That is why
