Some are turning to socially-distant, masked-up walks outside; others are following YouTube yoga videos; and still others are doing home boxing. But none of this should ever involve abusing any animals. An unidentified Idaho woman is facing backlash for posting a horrendous video of her boxing — using her pet as a living, breathing, literal punching bag. In the video, the woman hits the German Shepherd in the face as hard as she can over and over again. The sweet animal yelps in pain, to which she responds with audible exhilaration and ecstasy, "I hit him so hard..." Meanwhile, someone in the background callously says, "We're boxing animals. Where's Sarah McLauchlan?" After she proudly posted her cruel video, the local humane society was immediately flooded with calls, and local authorities were even able to identify the woman. While the case is currently under review at the local prosecutor's office, no charges have yet been filed. This should be an open and shut case: the woman abused her yelping animal, on camera, and showed no remorse. Sign the petition to demand that this animal abuser is charged and punished to the full extent of the law, and that her dog is rehomed with a safe family.
