Appointment¹ as Minister  of Women and Gender Equality for  Macarena Santelices, great-niece of ex-dictator Pinochet  (1973-1990), author of
such despicable phrases as: "The municipalities no longer supply. Social aid must be for our people: Chileans. Health, housing, we haven't
even solved our problems!!! Urgent NO MORE IMMIGRANTS (sic) "and" It is not up to me to make judgments today, as minister, to comments I
made in the past ", generated wide controversy and rejection from the population. It even validated the dictatorship, thus justifying state
terrorism and human rights violations perpetrated (including torture of women, rape of pregnant women and a series of humiliations that
constitute sexual torture). We want to question not only your appointment as minister of women, but the appointment of any position that
remains within the traditional policy, which says it represents us, but continues to support a model in which inbreeding,

We do not need to be represented, we demand and occupy spaces to represent ourselves and build ourselves in solidarity of gender and class.
Neither this government nor any other was truly concerned with fighting the macho oppression that is sustained by patriarchy. No state, no
president, no minister, will safeguard our lives, since their interests always start from their business and accommodated privilege. The
complicity of patriarchy with capitalism is something that constantly catches the eye and as anarcho-feminists we want to remember that WE
DO NOT WANT OR NEED MINISTERS OR GOVERNMENTS, WE WANT THE SOVEREIGNTY OF OUR BODIES.

We will extend the networks of sorority, foster self-defense, and build bonds of security and protection to accompany and protect us among
ourselves, away from the authorities, corporate puppets and right-wingers on duty.

BELOW THE PATRIARCHY AND THEIR INSTITUTIONS!

Absurd and criminal. If there are two words to sum up the situation of foreigners and foreigners locked up in the Administrative Detention
Center (CRA), these are the ones. ---- Administrative detention centers are prisons for foreigners. Men, women and children locked up by the
French state because they and they have no "papers". ---- There are 24 CRAs in France. All continued to operate: after March 16 there were
new detentions, new evictions. The closing of the borders still thwarted the deportation machine. Despite this, the CRAs were not closed.
---- More than 150 foreigners are detained there, in the dramatic conditions of the coronavirus epidemic, at the mercy of the contagion.
Care was denied to sick detainees. The guards' violence and arbitrariness continues to reign, and is documented by numerous witnesses.
Because the prisoners speak and fight.

In several CRAs, in Oissel, in Mesnil-Amelot, in Vincennes, revolts broke out refusing the order of the guards and of the detention,
protesting to be delivered to the disease. On Saturday April 11, the Mesnil-Amelot detainees refused to return to the buildings, and spent
the night outside, the mattresses on the court floor. On April 12, it was at the CRA in Vincennes that the anger of the detainees exploded
in the face of the refusal of hospitalization of one of their relatives, suffering from Covid-19. As of March 13, CRA detainees in
Lille-Lesquin alerted to a case of coronavirus and started a hunger strike. A month later, on April 13, those imprisoned by the CRA of
Oissel in the agglomeration of Rouen were in turn demanded their release.

Abolish retention
Because in the face of repression and the refusal of protection, it is the closure of the CRAs and the release of the prisoners that was and
always is necessary. On March 23, five organizations including Cimade, Gisti and the Syndicat des Avocats de France (SAF) had seized the
Council of State to request the closure. A request that the Council of State brushed aside daring to specify that the confinement should
last "the time strictly necessary": but what do we talk about when the borders are closed due to a pandemic?

This closure was also requested by the human rights defender, the general controller of places of deprivation of liberty and the President
of the National Consultative Commission for Human Rights, who considered that the detention was "illegal".

Associations, collectives, unions supported the revolts of the prisoners, demanded their release. Because they are indicative of state
racism, we must amplify the mobilization and not give up on this requirement: close the CRAs and never reopen them .

Santi, old friend: They say that this dirty war that we are suffering also threw you on the damn list of thousands of dead that murderers
count every day. A cruel and accusing list where your father, our Coral and so many innocent people were already, as well as the dead from
all wars. ---- But some of us know that, being a good anarchist postman, you just went to deliver the last letter. The letter that proclaims
the triumph of Freedom and Justice; where people rescue Life from the clutches of the Power of Money, or vice versa. ---- Monstrous, like
everyone else, this modern god whom they call the State-Capital, and whom their faithful flatterers: politicians, bankers, great
businessmen, high priests ... offer daily to the sacrificing people, with a grotesque spectacle of pathetic rituals that fill screens, media
and social networks, with the sole desire to save your business.

So we know, old friend, that in every cry of rebellion, in every barricade, in every step we take with our dear CNT-FAI or with anyone on
the way to libertarian communism - the important thing is the way - you will be proud between us, hoisting the last card by flag.

Then, from the sincere friendship that we keep beyond the differences and silences that we always laugh, to the Alegre Revolution that his
smile always projected. I tell you, Comrade, that we still have to hurry up a few mornings for that dear Lavapiés from "Jesusín" and
"Chato"... Do you remember?

Goodbye, old sly friend!

Your dear "guaje", Palax.

This year's May 1 was a difficult challenge: it has never been so necessary to act and it has never been more difficult. ---- So take a look
at some examples of radical actions from around the world. ---- BELGIUM ---- Before May Day, a tenants' strike initiative was launched in
Belgium. Groups in the United States, Canada, France, Spain, Italy, England, Brazil, and Greece have also joined the world. ----
Demonstrations took place in Brussels in front of St. Gilles. Police detained nine people and released them that evening. The banners read,
"Let's destroy all prisons, bad days are over!" Or "Freedom for all." ---- BRAZIL ---- Several anarchist events took place in Brazil,
including the placement of posters and the posting of banners. In the capital, nurses demonstrated to draw attention to the plight of
healthcare workers. They were attacked by supporters of fascist President Jair Bolsonar.

FRANCE

Calls for May Day protests spread throughout the country, despite the ban on public events. These took place, for example, in Paris and its
surroundings, in Lyon, Saint-Étienne, Grenoble, Gapa, Poitiers, Toulouse or Rennes. Anarchists all over the country hung banners and protest
leaflets. Although spacings were kept at the demonstrations, the police handed out fines.

CHILE

May Day noise demonstrations (cacerolazos) took place in a number of places. Among the demands was, for example, the release of political
prisoners. Police used water cannons and tear gas and there were clashes and arrests. Banners in Concepción said, "We will survive, we will
return, we will win."

ITALY

In many cities in Italy, May Day events took place in the form of flash mobs, strikes and demonstrations. Strikes took place in Milan,
Padua, Florence, Rome and Naples, for example. Police persecuted participants in a peaceful demonstration in Trieste, where slogans such as
"Make, consume, die - the real virus is the state" appeared.

CANADA

A car convoy was organized in Hamilton under the slogan "Let's keep the money for rent". He drove through various neighborhoods and stopped
at a building owned by the largest landlords in the city. Graffiti and banners with anti-authoritarian slogans appeared on the walls in
Montreal. In Toronto, anarchists sealed the locks of several banks and issued a communiqué explaining the meaning of the action - a protest
against the abuse of the epidemic for trading and profits.

GERMANY

Around 3,000 people demonstrated in Berlin, and there were several clashes with the Nazis in Hamburg. A symbolic occupation of two buildings
took place in Leipzig. Anarchists staged an illegal demonstration in Dresden, involving 40 people. The only legal demonstration in veils
took place in Greifswald, attended by about 250 people. Demonstrations took place in Wuppertal at night. Banners were displayed in Dortmund
and a symbolic occupation took place. A radio demonstration took place experimentally in Hanover - people were broadcasting the "May Day
Alliance" broadcast from balconies and on the streets.

AUSTRIA

In Austria, the ban on the movement of persons was lifted, so some May Day events were allowed. In addition to the usual party marches and
rallies, there were also demonstrations of left radicals. In Vienna, around 850 people took part in a march under the slogan "Transnational
Solidarity - Against Racism and War". They carried banners and pickets, veiled and kept their spacing. The march ended at three in the
afternoon in front of the town hall. Many then joined the unannounced bike ride under the slogan "Solidarity instead of a new normality".
Six hundred people passed by the city center, supervised by the police and a helicopter. As they moved to the Ferris wheel, police officers
attacked and detained three people.

GREECE

In Athens, about 600 anarchists took part in the May Day march and the police did not intervene. One of the trade unions organized a
motorcycle demonstration in which about 200 people took part. They drove through the city, followed by police. The anarchist group Rubikon
decorated the graffiti office of one of the corporations.

SLOVENIA

In Slovenia, this year's First of May coincided with the fifth week of anarchist and anti-authoritarian mobilization against the repressive
government policy behind the fight against COVID-19. After weeks of massive graffiti events, noise demonstrations from balconies and
critical mass rides, more than 5,000 people arrived in the capital Ljubljana on bicycles and blocked all major roads and intersections in
the city center. In other towns and villages, there were protests and "protest rowing" on eleven rivers against the destruction of the
environment.

SPAIN

The Spanish government is outrageous towards the quarantined people. Nearly 800,000 people (almost 2 percent of the population) have been
fined and 7,000 have been arrested. The amount of the fine is close to the average monthly income. In such conditions, legal public events
are unimaginable. Thus, leaflets and banners with radical content were pasted and videos were disseminated, which clarified the essence and
goals of the May Day events. A number of graffiti appeared in Barcelona overnight, and one supermarket was exposed. Tens of thousands of
tenants continued to strike in the country, beginning on April 1 and organized by dozens of strike committees.

TURKEY

On May Day, trade union activists tried to protest in Taksim Square. Fifteen were arrested by the police.

USA

On May 1, a campaign for a general tenant strike in the United States began, which, according to the organizers, could become the largest
protest social movement in the country in connection with strikes in strategically important areas. Events are planned every first day of
the month. The movement has five basic requirements: 1) protection against coronavirus infection, 2) security of the roof over your head, 3)
survivable wages, 4) health care for all, 5) equal educational opportunities. In the conditions of the epidemic, car protests and the
posting of banners are currently planned. So far, employees of companies such as Amazon, Instacart, Target, Shipt or Whole Food have been on
strike. At Amazon in Richmond, Virginia, they went on strike in the morning of May 1st and were supported by workers from Instacart, FedEx,
Uber, Shipt, Lyft, UPS and others. About 100 cars with pickets passed through San Francisco in support of tenants' rights. The protest rides
also took place in Oakland, Tuscon, Richmond, Austin and Olympia. In Florida, anarchists demanded the release of prisoners, and in Chicago,
protesters occupied the empty building of the children's prison, where migrant children are planned to be placed. A banner hung from the
roof: "Close the prisons, open the houses!" Anti-capitalist slogans appeared on the walls in New Orleans and Portland.

Covid-19 undoubtedly made the inequality and vulnerability that we, the vast majority of the population, even more evident, not only in
Chile, but around the world. Social problems in relation to topics such as housing, education and health have always been visible, living in
a precarious way is definitely the way of life imposed by the neoliberal system. Covid-19 has further sharpened the critical point in our
eyes, and as anarcho-feminists we cannot be exempt from reporting certain facts that are happening in the territory we inhabit. ---- During
the month of April of this year, several news items with xenophobic and racist bias appeared in the mass media. In addition to stamping on
the cover of a diary an Afro-descendant woman with her baby as representatives of the health crisis. Shortly afterwards, several media
echoed an event experienced by a group of Haitian migrants in a building located in the commune of Quilicura. In the innumerable notes on
this fact, they reported that the neighborhood next to the police were intent on evicting this group of migrants, accusing them of living
stabbed, of being dirty, carrying the virus and of not having the sanitary conditions to live in the property. The solution? Go there, shout
at them, frighten them and tell them to go back to their country.

In addition to expressing our position totally contrary to this attitude of neighbors and police, we want to say the following: No human
being, under any condition of any kind, is illegal. We all deserve respect, we are all migrants in some genealogical measure, and absolutely
everyone should live with dignity. Being born here or there does not make any person more "deserving" of more or less dignity.

If it says that migrants live in crowds, then we want to ask: Isn't the housing problem a historical problem in Chile? Nowadays the housing
and family committees are more and more organized, because living with dignity does not figure in the State's schedule. Family members and
overcrowding exist in the vast majority of populations, so if migrants live in an unworthy way, it is because we live under a state that
promotes this way of living, and it is neither an option for the poor nor for migrants to live like this.

They accuse migrants of carrying the virus. Why not say things by your name? This virus was brought by the ruling class from Europe, which,
on the contrary, have a fully assured life. Here, too, there is a double standard, because if these migrants were wealthy, no one would
touch them. Why is a different nationality bored only when it is poor? Don't the rich and the poor do that by blaming us for a weakness we
don't even know, such as why we are poor? We know that it is the social structures that categorize us in terms of how many rights we deserve
and it is the State that has never fulfilled its true social role, but on the contrary, it has dedicated itself to deepening the neoliberal
model, which highlights this injustice even more.

They also accuse them of being dirty, of not having the conditions to overcome the virus, that they go out to work... To these neighbors we
ask them: the vast majority of Chileans are quarantining at home and living under the sanitary conditions to survive this virus? Don't we
have to go out day by day to get our livelihood? Why do you always insist on looking at straw in someone else's eye? Is it so difficult to
generate fraternal bonds and mutual support?

The yellow bourgeois press and the police are so delegitimized that they simply continue to dig their own grave, we do not have many
comments for them, except that we reject their actions and that although they continue to insist on attacking the people, either with their
sensational and false news or with their excessive violence, with organization and information we will face them.

They try to create hatred among the poor, destitute and oppressed because they know that our union is their end.

By fighting ignorance, we will eliminate racism, no human being is illegal!

Together, more than 430,000,000 hryvnias (approximately 395,000,000 CZK) were allocated for the organization of a singing concert. And in a
poor European country where there is a lack of funding to build a recycling plant, buy medicine, and in which there is a war. ---- The "
