An International Worker's Day statement by Black Rose/Rosa Negra and our comrades in Coordinadora de las Américas. ---- We are experiencing
this May 1 at a particular moment in history: the COVID-19 pandemic has made even more evident the global economic recession that emerged
last year, deepening the consequences of capitalism, with the working class being directly affected by precarity. ---- During the last
decade, precarious working conditions, layoffs, and extremely low wages have multiplied; a total degradation of dignity. Women, lesbians,
trans are always the most affected, carrying out triple shifts for the wages and recognition of a single one. The killing of workers
increase and indicate that for the bosses and the ruling parties our lives are worth nothing. The owners of multinationals apply their
methods of greater profit, greater productivity, robbing the rights of the workers in all parts of the world.

As we delve into history, we remember those fallen comrades in the midst of fighting to improve the living conditions of working people, and
in the face of capitalism and patriarchy, with all their advanced apparatus, we continue to build tools to resist, unite and organize. In
this sense, we propose to build a revolutionary international force, which has solidarity and mutual aid as its primary values.

The wealth must be used for the health, housing and food of the workers. No one should be left without income, nor be pushed into debt
because the ruling class extracts the wealth of all people only for themselves.

Capitalism is the pandemic: Another world is possible!

Here we share theMay 1 st analysis of our FOB Autonoma comrades, who took advantage of this date to once again recall the role of women and
all the oppressed on the front line in this crisis. We reiterate our full support to them, long live those who fight ! ---- The 1 stof May
is a date that commemorates the Anti-Capitalist, anti-patriarchal, anti-colonial and anti-racist. Our ancestors struggled like us to live in
a fairer world so that those below would stop living in misery and structural violence. ---- What does that make living a 1 stMay in
isolation ? ---- We are in a state of emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the dengue epidemic. We live in physical isolation without
access to food, health and overcrowding. This situation is worsening in villages and neighborhoods, where access to basic resources is
increasingly limited, in a situation of vulnerability.

In this context, the need for food in the neighborhoods is fundamental. In many cases, the number of people going to popular canteens in
search of food has at least doubled. These spaces are supported by women, who work in a very precarious situation and cannot access the
minimum elements of hygiene necessary for these tasks, such as masks, gloves, alcohol and disinfectant. Those who perform essential jobs are
also precarious, exposed in unsanitary conditions and most of them are "feminized jobs " Because they are linked to caring roles that are
generally seen as feminine. We, the members of the cooperatives, are the supporters of our families. We depend on other jobs and exchanges
to support us. The government has taken a "palliative" measure to overcome the situation of misery but the IFE * has not yet arrived. Very
few of the migrant communities were able to access the emergency grant. In addition, the government has increased the budget of the
repressive forces and, in recent days, has strengthened the presence of the army throughout the country, in which case the money is
sufficient to meet their needs. Since the early forties, we have suffered from abuse of power by the police and various military groups.

And, as if this context was not enough, women, lesbians, transvestites and transsexuals, many live this isolated quarantine with their
attackers. From the start of the quarantine until April 26, there have been 32 feminicides and calls to the 144 ** have increased by 40%,
reaching 87 feminicides and trans-feminicides since the beginning of the year. Once again, we see the absence of effective policies to deal
with this problem and the patriarchal state which ignores the situation of thousands of victims of macho violence.

It is we, the women, the lesbians, the transvestites, the transsexuals, who once again put our bodies forward to build networks in order to
bring food to each household. We continue to do care work and we are the ones who are the most exposed every day. That is why, on workers'
day, we denounce the imposition of reproductive work, double exploitation and the violence we suffer in our jobs and in our homes.

Our lives are worth it ! Long live the workers who bring the world to life from their work, their neighborhood and their house ! For a
quarantine without precariousness, with an income for all those below those without hunger !

The Coronavirus pandemic affects all countries and will have an impact - direct or indirect - on the lives of billions of people. It is
important despite the crises we are going through to keep our critical mind, to try to understand how we got into this situation, how to
cope, and how to imagine solutions for after the crisis. ---- IWA is the International Workers Association. It brings together worldwide
workers, gathered into national sections, who recognize themselves in the principles, tactics and purposes of anarchosyndicalism. We want to
contribute to this necessary work of collective critical reflection about the situation. ---- By this bulletin, we have gathered texts
produced by IWA sections, or groups we feel close to, who are active in the health and care sector. It emerges from these articles that
overall the situation is the same everywhere: lack of means, lack of training, staff sacrificed by an unpreparedness of the health services
which have been destroyed for several years in the name of managerial efficiency and financial profitability. Today we see the effectiveness
of these restructurings ... otal havoc ... This disorganization and even this chaos are not the fruit of chance, they are not due to
anarchists, they are the result of the combined action of the State and Capitalism. To save humanity, we have no choice but to organize
collectively to put an end to the state and capitalism.

WHAT HAS DISPUTED THE DISPUTE AND LESSONS FOR THE FUTURE ---- Every dispute is a source of instruction and improvement. We always try to
talk about them and write about them in public, so that they benefit not only us but also other workers. ---- Deeper understanding of the
context ---- We stated at the beginning that the dispute with OZ DM was our first collective dispute. However, this was far from the first
problem in the workplace that we had to deal with. Thanks to the lessons learned from previous cases, for example, we had a pretty good idea
of the issue of reputational damage. During the dispute, however, we also learned more about topics related to working with personal data,
liability for damage, the possibility of using commercial and civil law in disputes or the issue of dependent work.

Psychological aspects of combat

Experiencing a dispute, leading it and winning it brings such a range of impressions and feelings that it cannot be compared to anything we
have experienced so far. We have seen that we can succeed and help ourselves and other workers. And that means a lot, because that is one of
the basic points of our activity.

We came out of the dispute with strengthened self-confidence. We have proven that our efforts and organization bring tangible results, and
therefore it makes sense. It is one thing to read about other people's successes in disputes, but it is quite another to win the dispute
ourselves - on our own and thanks to the solidarity of others. We now know that what we are doing is doing well, and we are very likely to
succeed.

However, the fight with it also brings other psychological aspects. Individual and collective responsibility for the success of a dispute
can easily cause unpleasant states, worries, feelings of anxiety and insecurity, sleep problems, etc.

In the long run, they are many times outweighed by the positive effects, but it must be borne in mind that even if one enjoys a lot of fun
during the fight, organizing the fight alone is not fun.

How best to handle disputes from a psychological point of view? Considering our other struggles, we think a lot depends on the number of
active people. The more people share the tasks and take responsibility for completing them, the better the dispute can be handled
emotionally and psychologically.

Evaluation and improvements

Closing a dispute does not mean closing the topic. The last phase is always evaluation. All members of the union are critical of various
aspects of the struggle and reflect on what worked and what did not. Based on this, we come up with improvements to the following disputes
and tips for other militant workers willing to stand up for their demands.

An example of this dispute is the organization of an email campaign. It turned out that it made no sense for sending protest e-mails or
faxes to be "shot" on the first day after the call was published. We have therefore devised a tactic for the gradual dissemination of
published information on the dispute, thus ensuring regular pressure for almost two weeks. In the following disputes, we further improved
this procedure and extended the period even further.

However, evaluations can also be useful as a basis for theoretical and practical texts. The main ideas of this brochure are also based on
the evaluations we wrote after the disputes.

support

Most of the people who supported Michal in handing over the letter or handing out the leaflet at the Christmas markets were not from the
Direct Action. Neither did Nicholas and the Devil;) It was the same in the disputes that followed. Why do we mention it? We want to point
out that even though there is a reluctance in society to organize and systematically engage in any activity, it is possible to succeed even
if the organization has people around it who are willing to do the right thing.

This condition is not our goal, but we understand its causes. However, we are constantly trying to prove in practice that it makes sense to
engage in e-mail campaigns, submit letters of request and participate in pickets.

and other forms of direct action against companies. And organize. It really works. And everything is easier to prepare when people are part
of the organization.

Grow a little differently

We also mentioned the issue of membership because people are often interested in whether workers join a union after a dispute. This has not
happened to us yet, but in most cases they continue to support our union and get involved in further disputes. For example, Michal later
willingly passed on his experiences from the police and the various stages of the dispute to other people with whom we had disputes, and
encouraged them. Apparently it also mattered that he knew us even before the dispute and our thoughts are close to him. We are currently
pleased with the situation where people continue to support our union and disputes. We have never been an organization focused on recruiting
new members, and it is not a measure of success for us.

"I'm nothing, I'm a musician" or the real potential
(not only) of the music scene

Problem-solving at work is not an engaging topic and gaining wider support in disputes is always a challenge. Thanks to social networks, the
music scene has great potential to spread information about disputes and thus contribute to solving problems in the workplace. In Michal's
case, people from the scene sent a lot of protest e-mails, which helped a lot. However, they got involved mainly because they knew Michal
personally.

However, everyone has acquaintances, and it is always important in disputes that people we know address other people in their neighborhood.
It is one thing to spread information among hundreds or thousands of people on social networks, and it is another to contact them directly
to send a protest e-mail or come to a protest (and possibly to reach other people around them who will do the same).

The power of organization

Our strength lies in the tactics of direct action and solidarity between workers. We are responsible and determined to fight for ourselves
and our workers until we win.

In communication with bosses, we are patient, inventive and unyielding. By organizing and winning disputes, we leave them a clear message
that they need to think carefully about whether they want to continue their practices and feel how we affect their business or reputation.

Most of the time, they rely on the fact that once they have picked up the workers once, they will get over it again. However, they usually
do not count on the possibility of being organized. And not at all that they will have to face direct actions.

From the position of the union, we give a clear signal to workers and bosses that when a person decides to respond and resolve a dispute in
the workplace with the help of the organization, direct action can achieve theirs, relatively quickly (compared to litigation).

In such a setting and with experience from Michal's dispute, we received a request for support from Martin in less than two months.

Dispute over unpaid wages
with CATO Agency

Martin worked for CATO Agency from July 2015 to March 2016 as a documentary for animal feed of the Royal Canin company in two branches of
the building and garden material store in Bratislava. Since November 2015, he has also worked as a promoter. Although he received the first
payments on time and in accordance with the provisions of the employment contract (and the Labor Code), the others were already regularly
late. Although he was aware that the company was committing an illegal act, he did not know what to do in such a situation, so he accepted
that he would wait for the money. In the end, they always came. Until...

CAUSE OF DISPUTE - UNPAID WAGES

Martin wrote to us in mid-March 2016, when he learned that the manager of CATO Agency had accused him of causing damage in the amount of
more than € 1,500. Representatives of both companies allegedly met in two weeks, the amount suddenly increased to € 3,000 and the solution
was: Martin will do it for free in April and May under the supervision of a Royal Canin representative and they will be even. Of course, he
was to say goodbye to the money for the already done February and March as well.

Martin immediately told the head of the CATO Agency that he would think about it and get in touch. At a personal meeting, we agreed that the
boss's proposal for a solution is absurd and not even in accordance with the law. We also accepted the accusation of causing damage, which
we concluded as unfounded. We explained to Martin that he had to be active in a possible dispute, and then we summarized what we needed to
find out so that we could assess how the wages owed for February and March could be obtained. We decided we needed more information, so
Martin told his boss that he needed some more time. He also let her know that if he wanted anything from him, he would decide when to answer
her.

HOW WE HAVE PROCEDED AND THE OTHER SIDE

At the next meeting with Martin on March 19, we clarified the requirements and discussed concrete steps. Martin was interested in entering
into a dispute, so we agreed that he would try to formulate the wording of a letter, which we would hand over to the boss together at the
beginning of May at the address of the company's headquarters in Košice. For inspiration, we provided him with the wording used in the
dispute with OZ DM. We took care of the coordination of the event in Košice. Martin prepared a letter of request and sent it to the address
provided by CATO Agency on the website. When the letter came back to him, he compared the address on the web with the one in the business
register and found that they were different.

Meanwhile, one of our members started asking activists from Košice if they would come to support Martin during the handover.

A dispute that was almost non-existent

However, the entry into the dispute was not entirely smooth. Martin paused and spoke again only five days before the scheduled handover of
the letter in Košice. We explained to him that if we were to come to a dispute, we expected a more responsible approach on his part and
compliance with the agreements and tasks from the meetings.

Martina was sorry for this situation and suggested that we end the cooperation and not go to dispute. However, we still felt that the
problem was more technical and perhaps we should not rely only on communication over the Internet, which did not work reliably. In addition,
we would be sorry if we allowed the company to deal with him in this way. So we suggested an alternative form of communication to him and
asked if he would still change his mind about the dispute. It turned out that the problem was really in communication, on which we probably
didn't agree the best at the beginning. So Martin finally decided to join the dispute.

We considered sending the original undelivered letter to the new address, but in the end we decided that we would not take any
considerations into the boss and prepare a letter of request, which we would pass on to her signed by our association. There was no reason
to further delay entering into a dispute with a company that allowed itself to blackmail a worker to work for free.

We agreed on a meeting on May 1 in Košice, from where we were to go to the boss in a new neighborhood with family houses on the outskirts of
Košice. We have already examined and photographed the place so that we know where we are going and what awaits us there. This made it easier
for us to figure out how to proceed.

May Day in the spirit of the struggle of the workers

The plan to hand over the letter symbolically on May 1 was a pleasant coincidence. On that day, in Košice, we presented the activities of
our association and the previous dispute with OZ DM at the May Day event organized by Košice activists from Food Not Bombs and CLUB. We
combined the useful with the useful and before the presentation, Martin, with the support of ten other people, chose the headquarters and at
the same time the home address of the boss and her husband, ie the managers of the CATO Agency.

We didn't catch anyone at home, so Martin left the letter in the mailbox and we made a photo and video recording of the whole event,
similarly to the case of OZ DM.

We are preparing

The boss was given seven days to pay the illegally withheld salary. So far, we have met with Martin again and prepared a plan for publishing
the first two articles on the dispute on our website and a schedule of events for May and June. We also agreed on the date of the next
meeting. The publication of the article on entering the dispute was again published on a symbolic date - Friday the 13th.

Uncertainties about the amount owed

Since the boss did not pay the money owed, we published an article. Almost immediately after its publication, Martin received a lawyer. In
the letter, Martin asked for payment of € 350 for February and € 35 for March. The lawyer mentioned € 390 in February on the phone. Then the
boss called Martin, who claimed that all the money was paid out, which was not true.

Martin didn't like the other party operating with different amounts, so he checked his calculations again. In addition, the boss received a
breakdown of hours worked for each month with alleged payment dates. The line according to which she paid Martin money for the hours worked
in March already in February, certainly did not inspire a lot of confidence in her accounting ...

After a thorough inspection, it turned out that the amounts are in fact a little different. The problem was due to the late payment of wages
and ambiguities in the amounts for individual months. In February, it was not € 350 or € 390 (which was in fact the delayed payment for
December 2015 and January 2016 paid until the end of February 2016), but € 155. So we sent the boss a new calculation of the outstanding
salary and alerted her to the errors. She did not respond to our repairs. She only wrote to Martin that if she has any ambiguities regarding
wages, she should deal with them and not through our union.

After this clarification of the facts, we also corrected the amount due on the web as part of the correctness. The dispute continued.

Divide and rule

But we needed to solve one more thing. Even though my boss and I had been communicating from our address since the beginning of the dispute,
she always answered only to Martin. She apparently wanted to make it clear that she did not accept our participation in the dispute. The
problem, however, was that Martin tended to respond to her messages from himself. We were not surprised. Even during the dispute with OZ DM,
we found ourselves in a similar situation several times. Fortunately, in both cases, we clarified it relatively quickly and rationally, and
we communicated with the other party only from the organizational e-mail.

The point is that from the moment we enter into a dispute as a union, the contact point becomes the union and not the individual. The
disadvantage for a person in dispute is to communicate from a personal address or telephone. The other side thus has a greater chance of
disrupting our common approach, which could lead to ill-considered, hasty and short-circuit reactions. The result could be isolation and a
return to the situation as it was in the beginning, when a man with his problem stands alone against his bosses.

We will not leave peace

On May 24, we prepared the publication of the second article, which was a call for support for Martin in the dispute (the English version
also went out in a week).

It included a sample protest email and the opportunity to express their views on the company's practices using an online form:

I hereby disagree with the fact that you did not pay your employee Martin a salary of 190 € for the work done. I expect you to act
responsibly and pay this amount out quickly. Otherwise, I will inform other people about your company's practices.

Let me also express my wonder at your actions. Failure to pay wages is not only a criminal offense, but also a morally wrongdoing. I believe
that the amount of 190 € is not liquidation for your company. On the contrary, for Martin as a student it is a significant amount and in
addition money for the work done, to which he is entitled under the contract with CATO Agency sro

I express my support for Martin and the campaign aimed at paying out the wages owed. If necessary, I will join this campaign in more than
just email.

We also invited people in Košice and the surrounding area to contact us if they want to support Martin in other ways as well, as we planned
other events in the city.

The article has appeared on several websites and Facebook pages. We also contacted organizations from the International Workers' Association
(MAP) and several of us supported us. Thanks to this, the boss received at least one protest e-mail a day until June 7 (a total of just over
60 e-mails came, of which about half were from abroad).

The boss did not give up and a few hours after the publication of the article, there were two reactions in the world. The first went to
Martin's supporters. Having allowed themselves to send her a protest e-mail, she threatened that if they disclosed false information, they
would commit the crime of damaging the good name and reputation of the legal entity (and, of course, the company will have to take legal
action ... for sent an e-mail ...). At the same time, there were no false information in our articles, and we already knew quite well about
the issue of reputational damage from the past and from the dispute with OZ DM. So we basically just smiled. We added a note to the article
that if people get a response from the CATO Agency, they can send it to us so we can see if everyone is writing the same nonsense (and so
that we can respond to it if necessary).

The second reaction went to Martin. He received an e-mail in which there was not a word about the wage owed. The boss also wanted to scare
him and returned to the alleged damage. She even forwarded the communication with Royal Canin (in which the amount of damage was different -
not € 1,500 or € 3,000, but € 1,300 with VAT). In addition, she began to accuse him of non-compliance with the agreed attendance. Martin
immediately attached his explanations. Some of her information was completely untrue, others torn from the context and distorted. However,
we were only interested in the payment of the wage due. Namely, it is not done in such a way that the company does not simply pay the
employee a wage on the basis of an accusation of causing damage. If the employee does not admit the damage, the case is decided by a court,
which the company threatened, but knew well that it would not succeed. In addition, the law specifies

We contact the company's partners

We met with Martin again to agree on the next step, in which we wanted to use previously unpublished information about the company's
practices. We did not plan to give peace in the coming weeks either. On the contrary, we wanted to tighten up. We found out that the boss is
responsible for PR and marketing of the June Art Film Fest in Košice. At the end of May, we started contacting the festival organizers to
comment on the cooperation with a person who does not pay wages.

The boss's reaction came the same day. However, she only forwarded the last e-mail to Martin, adding that she was asking him to contact
someone from our association, because the matter was allegedly being referred to a lawyer. This absurd logic amused us again. Two days
later, he sent an e-mail to another partner of the festival, and then to another and another ...

Direct action at the fashion show

In addition, we have agreed to organize a protest during the Art Film Fest costume show, which took place on June 1. Martin was also
supposed to take part in the event, but unfortunately, at the last minute he had work responsibilities and he could not travel to Košice. It
wasn't an ideal situation, but we decided to go for it anyway.

The tour took place in the catchy hotel Jasmín. Košice activists came in front of the hotel with a leaflet about the dispute and talked to
the visitors of the event, advertising partners and the media about the actions of the person responsible for the PR festival. The remaining
leaflets ended up behind the car wipers in the parking lot next to the hotel.

Leaflet text:

PR and marketing of Art Film Fest in the hands of a person in debt

Yes, there are still many entrepreneurs in Slovakia who refuse to pay wages. Among these is the company CATO Agency sro, whose managing
director Mgr. Veronika Šmihulová Kašpar is also responsible for PR and marketing of Art Film Fest.

This leaflet is not directed against the Art Film Fest. However, we think that when it comes to non-payment of wages, it is never right to
remain silent. We firmly believe that you also agree with this idea as people who appreciate art, which has always been a means of pointing
out social ills.

What is it about?

Mgr. Šmihulová Kašpar unlawfully refuses to pay Martin a salary of € 190 for the work he did for CATO Agency sro in February and March 2016.
This obligation follows from the Agreement on temporary work of students concluded on July 16, 2015, which states: "The salary is payable in
arrears for a monthly period, no later than the end of the following calendar month pursuant to Section 129 of the Labor Code. "

However, Martin still does not have his money. We believe that the amount of 190 € cannot be liquidation for any company, but for Martin as
a student it is a considerable amount of money, in addition for the work done and in accordance with the concluded contract.

Sadly, on the day of the press conference and the show, we must point out such a serious problem. However, we ask ourselves the question,
where is the guarantee that Mgr. Šmihulová Kašpar will not act illegally in her other activities as well, as in the case of Martin she is
not acting yet and the money remains unpaid?

We are sorry that we have to address you as a result of the situation, and we are also sorry that Mgr. Through her actions, Šmihulová Kašpar
gets not only herself but also Art Film Fest into an unenviable situation. However, we are convinced that work is paid for, and if not, it
should always be pointed out, although it is possible that in this case it may not work well for PR and marketing of Art Film Fest.

This leaflet was created as an expression of support for Martin in the hope that the company CATO Agency sro will finally approach the
matter responsibly and pay the outstanding salary.

Keep your fingers crossed for us to keep the dispute as short as possible. If you don't even like what's going on, please support Martin. We
also recommend contacting CATO Agency sro or directly Mgr. Šmihulová Kašpar. You can find our opinion on the website www.priamaakcia.sk. If
you have further questions, we will be happy to answer them at info@priamaakcia.sk.

And suddenly the money was found

We no longer had to implement other planned activities. Exactly one week after the show, Martin received € 175 in his account. We agreed to
write to the boss that it was not the whole amount. Martin did not want to pay for a taxi (€ 5), although she had promised it to him before,
as well as the two hours (€ 10) he worked on the Royal Canin promotion (the request to stay at the event two hours longer came on the spot
from the responsible representative this company). So we sent an e-mail to the boss, in which we wrote down these items, and we were curious
about his position.

The day came a response, but there was no clear answer to our e-mail regarding the remaining € 15, so we were reminded again. Only then did
the boss make her clear. She told us sadly that our union did not consider Martin's representative and would only contact him in the matter.
There was also the obligatory threat of legal action.

She told Martin that in the case of a taxi, she was requesting the original proof of payment (a scan sent to him was not enough) and that
she would simply not pay for the two extra hours worked, because she never asked him for anything like that. (It would be quite interesting
to see the accounting between CATO Agency and Royal Canin and the way in which these two hours were accounted for ...).

Martin said that it was not worth stretching € 15 with her. We respected his decision, and we considered the dispute to be settled.

CATO Agency practice warning

In an article we published after the dispute, we summarized the ambiguities regarding CATO Agency's practices to warn people who would like
to work for this company in the future:

Late payment of wages
The company paid payments after the deadline regulated by Section 129 of the Labor Code.

Non-payment of wages
This was the cause of Martin's dispute. In addition, the boss first lied that she had paid for everything. We are convinced that Martin
received his salary only thanks to our campaign.

Records of hours worked
The company had trouble providing a complete record. However, Martin kept good records of e-mails and SMS and thanks to that he was able to
more easily question the records provided by the boss.

Contract in violation of legal requirements
The agreement on the part-time work of the students did not properly specify the scope of work or the place of work. There were also
discrepancies in the dates on the contract, which the boss probably noticed later. Martina asked him to sign a document that would partially
address this. We experienced a similar attempt in the previous dispute. Who knows why anyone even tries such transparent tricks ...

Is CATO Agency sro an employment agency?
The company has the name "agency" (agency), but according to the Commercial Register, it had nothing in the subject of activity that would
entitle it to mediate work. Nevertheless, Martin worked for another company (Royal Canin) on the premises of a third company (in shops with
building and garden materials) and performed the work not only on the basis of instructions from the manager of CATO Agency, but also a
representative of Royal Canin.

In the article, we also drew the attention of students to caution when signing contracts and performing work for various companies, and
referred to our freely available publication on part-time work. Are you going to a part-time job? Experiences and tips on how not to get
swept away.

By this bulletin, we have gathered texts produced by IWA sections, or groups we feel close to, who are active in the health and care sector.
It emerges from these articles that overall the situation is the same everywhere: lack of means, lack of training, staff sacrificed by an
unpreparedness of the health services which have been destroyed for several years in the name of managerial efficiency and financial
profitability. Today we see the effectiveness of these restructurings ... otal havoc ... This disorganization and even this chaos are not
the fruit of chance, they are not due to anarchists, they are the result of the combined action of the State and Capitalism. To save
humanity, we have no choice but to organize collectively to put an end to the state and capitalism.

A miners' strike took place in the LPR at the Nikanor-Novaya mine (Perevalsky district, Zorinsk). The protest rally began on April 29 and
continued on the 30th. Employees demanded that the head of the self-proclaimed republic, Leonid Pasechnik, intervene in the situation.
Rescuers and representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrived at the mine. ---- 38 mine workers (24 workers from the first shift
and 14 workers of the second shift) refused to rise from the bottom to the surface. The first demand of the miners is the payment of wage
arrears. "Total debt - about 20 months, direct debt - more than six months, at the moment they paid 20% in October, and gave 2,000 rubles
each. for March ", - reports" Lugansk insider ".
Also, workers are protesting against the closure of the mine. "The fact is that on April 28 at 11:00 a telegram came to the mine to close
the mine, although on the same day the miners were promised that the mine would simply be transferred to another department," the Lugansk
insider said.

Until this time, a process was already underway, reminiscent of the preparation of the enterprise for closure. For example, some miners of a
stope (GROS) and miners were taken to the Belorechenskaya mine (Tsentrugol coal association), and a team of miners were taken to the
Mashchinskaya mine (Lugansk mine of UO Tsentrugol).

Prior to the outbreak of the armed conflict in 2014, 5 tunnel teams worked at the Nikanor-Novaya mine, each of them had 5 links - 1 shift
and 4 more links (2, 3 and 4 shifts). Now 1 shift is working and only one team. The remaining miners were taken to other mines.

As previously reported, on April 21 in the LPR, an underground strike due to non-payment of wages took place at the Komsomolskaya mine
(Antratsit).

And on April 7 in Donetsk, the miners of the mine named after A. F. Zasyadko also held a protest rally - they refused to rise to the surface
before paying off wage arrears.

On April 15, bus drivers went on strike in Donetsk, refusing to go on routes.

Recall that in the LPR developed a plan for closing mines, which in the republic are considered "unprofitable." It is about 5 mines. At the
same time, the closure of mines can adversely affect the environment. In LC at coal enterprises, wage arrears amount to 2.7 billion rubles.

Around May 1, a series of virtual meetings take place to discuss global inequalities, an attack on employee rights, and the need for action.
The "Amazon" keyword is often used as a symbol of modern exploitation. ---- We are convinced that much is said about Amazon not because it
exploits much more brutally than bosses in other factories or industries. People talk about it loudly because Amazon employees and employees
around the world are organizing themselves. They work together, across borders, demanding their rights. In recent days, an international
organization of employees from Poland, Germany, USA, Spain and France has cemented: Amazon Workers International . ---- Also in Poland,
we've been working in Amazon magazines ourselves for years and organizing with our colleagues in a long-lasting fight. We have been joining
a grassroots trade union Inicjatywa Pracownicza (IP) since 2014. He currently owns over 700 Amazon employees and warehouse workers from
around Szczecin, Poznan, Wroclaw, Lódz, Legnica and Sosnowiec.

We can't end with May Day debates! Let's test the conclusions of the discussion in workplaces. We have a suggestion: hire yourself at Amazon
and help us build a grassroots labor movement. A similar appeal was made by US employee activists ( "Join the struglle at Amazon" ) who explain:

"The global crisis is developing and we must seize this moment. The coronavirus pandemic - with no signs of slowing down - caused a
recession that was coming. When other capitalists slow down, Amazon employs en masse. It's an opportunity to join us in battle in the belly
of the beast. Even in times of relative stability, Amazon is the epitome of many diseases of capitalism. (...) currently has almost a
monopoly on online commerce, quickly takes over large parts of logistics chains, building huge networks of fixed capital, radiating from
every large city outside the country. This network is dependent on work that cannot easily be outsourced because it must remain close to
major population centers and markets. (...)

Amazon employs nearly 700,000 employees worldwide and is increasingly important for global capital accumulation. In other words, the company
has opened new opportunities for employees to build truly international strength. (...) As the current crisis escalates, we can wage a class
struggle in this key area. However, we need many people who would like to be on the front lines and use the current recruitment process at
Amazon. "

Help us use this moment also in Poland! To get employed in Amazon, you only need one phone call to an employment agency (Adecco or Randstad)
and recruitment is carried out remotely. The territorial range of free company buses is large ( see map ). We are also looking for people
with experience in organizing to support those who are already inside, "in the belly of the beast" from the outside. The Amazon crew does
not need mercy, but help in strengthening the ongoing plant activities.

It will not be easy: you will probably get an agency monthly contract. If you get sick or don't follow the norm, they may not give you
another one. The work is physical, with 10.5 hour shifts 4 days a week (people two days part time), also at night. We guarantee, however,
that the experience of hired work (even for several months) and organizing in such a large plant, breaking down divisions and building a
relationship with others that you probably would never have had the opportunity to meet, is an experience that can change the lives of
activists in a unique way . Especially those who are inspired by the heritage of struggles and strikes commemorated on May 1 and the
tradition of militant employee organizations to which we are grateful for the achievements won for the world of work.

Contact us and we will guide you through this process and help you find yourself where the fight is taking place.

An article on the management of the pandemic, the point where the conflict between the state and the capitalist machine and the social and
class resistances is reflected. For the ideological battle against the devaluation of the universal good of life and health ---- COVID-19:
---- Pandemic management, a battlefield between state and capitalist domination and the struggles of the social and class base. ---- To
begin an analysis of the state management of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is necessary to clarify what the state entity is and what it is not:
.[1] And what is its main purpose: The reproduction of its ability to concentrate these functions, to be imposed on the social body either
through brute force or through the mediation of social needs. The impossibility of reproducing this imposition wears out not a single state
function but the state itself. Simply put, the very existence of the state is directly linked to defending its ability to impose its power
universally.

This enforcement process is much more complicated than government administrators would like. The social and class struggle, the
mobilizations and the struggles against the state orders are the independent variable that the sabotage can set in motion in the
reproduction function of the state machine. There are two critical points about the extent of sabotage in the reproductive function of the
state machine:

a) The dual nature of these struggles, ie on the one hand the simultaneous confrontation of the collective power with the state power and on
the other hand the militant confrontation, the satisfaction of social needs through processes that are not part of the
institutional-mediation functions.

b) The impact of these struggles on the wider social context in which they are carried out, their mass and ideological influence.

The qualitative and quantitative reflection of these two factors is a rather difficult case, as they change with great speed. In other
words, the intensity of the social and class struggle cannot be taken for granted, just as it cannot be taken for granted. The state
formation, in order to absorb the vibrations and regain its dominance where it loses territory due to it, is forced to change, to change, to
use new means in order not to risk its existence, to prepare for prevention, and in worst-case scenario for dealing with the expression of
the leading process of questioning its existence: the civil social and class war, the complete rupture of a significant part of society with
the existing state and capitalist or organizational structure.

This preparation and its imprints are much easier to perceive in terms of the police and military forces, in the means of expression of a
pillar of state function, of raw power. It is more complicated and its imprints less clear in terms of those mechanisms that aim at the
ideological influence of the state, which exist (as well as the repressive mechanisms) to prevent the challenge of state power through its
ideological establishment.

The purpose of this article is not to describe these two functions and the state machine, but to highlight the definition of its functions
and the process of social and class conflict; in this case, the management of the Covid-19 pandemic. Other factors, such as unequal
distribution of power between states, the degree of capitalist development or the differentiated theoretical core of state formations, are
not overlooked, but also interact with social and class reality, with the imprints or remnants of internal conflict of a general analysis of
the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic must include a number of factors, such as the individual economic structure - it is no coincidence that
the virus is so prevalent in countries with high rates of large businesses, an increasing number of tourists during the winter, a level of
internationalization (in Western Europe and the US travel, especially air travel, between countries or states are much more frequent), the
state of health systems and government interventions in the transmission of the virus. A common component in each case separately is that

and the United States travel, especially air travel, between countries or states is much more frequent), the state of health systems and

the transmission of the virus. Common component in each case separately is that any state intervention - for example with the closure of
part of the business - did not occur until the risk of millions of deaths was already either immediately visible or a reality, an
international treaty no longer possible. a neglected.

In contrast to conspiracy theories, states around the world have not taken partial measures to partially restrict economic activity (and in
some cases not even them), and therefore the spread of the virus, under enormous pressure from the capitalist machine. , the second pillar
of power of the existing world, not to receive blows. Strikes in Italy's factories amid thousands of deaths, strikes by Amazon workers in
the United States, strikes by workers' doctors and nurses around the world just as reluctant to allocate part of the generated wealth to the
strengthening of health structures.

And even these forced movements to limit economic activity do not arise from a sudden interest in human life, as a universal good. Prisons
and concentration camps are the greatest proof that health and life are important to states only to the extent that social cohesion is not
threatened, that is, to the extent that state and capitalist sovereignty are not threatened. Sovereignty that would certainly be threatened,
more elsewhere and less elsewhere, as the state that wants to appear as the guarantor of social normalcy can hardly convince its citizens,
its "legitimate citizens", that it is in their interest. to die en masse either in hospitals overcrowded or in nursing homes or on the
streets, in order for the "strongest" to survive in the context of the idea of herd immunity. The individual differences in the attitude of
states are largely due to the power of domination they have or consider to have over the social body. The confidence of the Swedish state,
which has allowed the virus to spread, resulting in the proportionally multiple deaths from their respective populations and economies, is
due to its enormous ideological dominance over Swedish society. The dual stance of the US state is eloquently reflected in the photo that
accompanies the article: Where the real state and capitalist will is clearly expressed by Trump's supporters who define capitalist
development as freedom and the point where it strikes and is forced to retreat to the block of the working nurse. This opposition pervades
every part of the world, the opposition between state and capitalist enforcement and its opposition from the social and class base.

In other words, the state management of the pandemic reflects, among other things, both the degree of the ideological domination of the
state on the social and the degree of the influence of the social and class resistances, the denial of this domination. The repressive
armies are not on the streets to restrict the petty bourgeoisie's maximum freedom to drink drinks at bars and go on vacation, but to ensure
that the risk management of the pandemic, the leading social issue of the time, remains. government hands. The repressive forces are on the
streets to ensure the continuation of any workplace to the extent that it serves the state and the capitalist machine. The repressive forces
exist to ensure that revolts in prisons and detention centers against the spread of the pandemic and not because there is no pandemic will
not erupt or be dealt with violently. The repressive forces are on the streets to ensure that while the virus spreads rapidly to Harlem, the
slums, the Kranidi detention center, there will be no conflict between the state and the capitalist power that creates ghetto neighborhoods,
prisons, armies, the army. concentration. They are on the streets to ensure that during a pandemic others will live in vast villas not
knowing how to spend their wealth and others in basements not knowing if they will have eaten. There where state structures do not exist,
The revolutionary forces themselves (for example in Chiapas) have taken quarantine measures to protect the community. Where the state
structure is extremely weak or has not taken action (for example in Brazil's favelas), gangs have taken on the social need as the only
organized expression of power and have imposed quarantine measures.

The fight against the spread of Covid-19 worldwide and for the protection of both life and health has been undertaken by the social and
class base, doctors, nurses, cleaning and feeding workers. And it is the state that wants to appear as an exponent of the interests of the
social, solely because he is occasionally compelled to a basic suspension of economic activity while at the same time shielding himself in a
repressive manner in order to avoid his own questioning. The repressive measures and the presence of even an army on the streets of the
cities are obviously not some kind of measure related to the protection of the health of the population, but instead act as guardians of the
conditions that create enormous risks to life and health. And while they are the timeless imprints of the social and class struggle that led
to the partial suspension of economic activity (where it existed), it is the state that reaps the value of its forced implementation, as
there is no collective political and revolutionary force with the masses. conditions, which raises the question of the challenge of state
power. As it is an expression of will on the part of the above, the disposition for the application of the doctrine "the strong survive, the
weak die" and well-known their decades-long efforts to fully privatize health structures, which implies an absolute class exclusion from the
basic, any health structures exist only thanks to the existence of struggles on the part of the oppressed.

It is precisely these imprints of the struggles that the followers of elitist theories who treat state entities with metaphysical and
mystical awe cannot discern this effect, attributing to them almost divine theories of controlling reality. For them, it should be noted
that the overwhelming exaggeration of the capabilities of the state machine stems from the refusal to recognize the enormous potential of
the social and class base. Their elitism is nothing but a peculiar class racism intended to permanently devalue the crowds of people in
order to keep for themselves the idea of a bright avant-garde, so bright that everyone is blinded by its brilliance and no one follows it.
They thus create an eternal cycle of ideological self-affirmation,

If for the state the issue is the reproduction of its sovereignty, for the petty bourgeoisie the issue is to maintain their position within
the existing class division. Petty bourgeoisie as a social mentality is based on individualized existence, on the small possession of those
means of production or property or a social status that allows specific pleasures within or outside quotation marks. Someone healthier or
younger is objectively less in need of a public health system than someone who has health problems. If from this objective material position
he ends up indifferent to the needs of the unhealthy or the elderly, he does nothing but try to maintain a certain privilege, his property,
his means of production or his way of life, even resulting in the death of the unhealthy.

The confusion between state repressive measures and the denial of the epidemic speculates cynically on the inability to distinguish between
real social need (which is protection against a highly contagious virus, high mortality rates and for which there is no vaccine) and in the
mediation of this need by the state, identifying them. He does not oppose repressive forces (not even before the epidemic), and does not
view them as an army intended to suppress social and class struggle, as he sees them as a temporary obstacle to the "exercise of capitalist
freedom." The masked denial of revolutionary perspective from those losers who agree with the regime parrots that the plebeians are unable
to manage their lives collectively,

The resumption of international economic activities also points to the point where the dynamics of the struggles are bound to find their
limits. It is the state and capitalist way of life of production and consumption that objectively creates conditions for a global outbreak
of an epidemic: With vast metropolises, labor relations that require mass travel, the raid on the natural world, the looting of socially
produced wealth. means of protection and health structures. With the economic structure that is oriented towards intensive and mass
exploitation and now "it must move again", to the residential structure of the houses-concrete cages. With the existence of prisons and
detention centers for refugees and immigrants, and by blackmailing unemployment and impoverished poverty to force millions of people to risk
their lives and health. With the orientation of entertainment in mass entertainment and industrialized tourism. It is this system of
enforcement and exploitation that, to the extent that it is not overturned, overcomes the obstacles posed by the struggles and continues to
define the lives of billions of people, prioritizing the interests of the few economically and politically dominant over the many.

A political and revolutionary movement has a duty to formulate and articulate an overall revolutionary project, a social proposal for all.
For young and old, for the healthy and the sick without discrimination, without prisons and concentration camps. The revolutionary slogan in
our time remains "everything for everyone, by everyone according to their abilities to everyone according to their needs". Equality means
equal access to health facilities, food, housing. And freedom means the collective possibility of co-decision on all social issues, the
radical change of lifestyle, the relationship with nature, production, entertainment. Solidarity movements and mobilizations that refuse to
take over social affairs from the state and at the same time study collective and individual self-defense measures - because they are the
need of the base - are those that can and do oppose state and capitalist power. its far-right, reformist or lifestyle supplements, which in
fact recognize the "right" of the state to decide on society as a whole by occasionally being intolerant of it. ways, as far as individual
entities affected. As anarchists, we totally deny the state the ability to decide on social issues, whether they concern the production or
management of an existing risk such as an epidemic.

As anarchists we are fighting for the revolution and we are seeking social and class self-government, the federal social and class councils,
which have nothing to do with lifestyle choices within the existing world. For the emancipated society where the concern for everyone's
human life will be a universal responsibility, where the production of social wealth will be available to satisfy the real social needs,
which include health structures for all. We seek the overthrow of the state and capitalism from the social and class base, which in a very
difficult time proves its enormous potential and we detest the comedic elites and its devaluing syndromes. Social and class struggles will
continue to write the history of the struggle for human emancipation until their mass and radicalization brings its brightest page. Until
all real social needs are taken over by the organization of free equals.
