The General Confederation of Labor supports since its inception, the Social Revolution of Rojava and Kobane, which we now call the
Democratic Confederation of North and East Syria, inspired by the Democratic Confederalism proposed by Abdullah Öcalan that defends, among
other proposals, ecology, emancipation of women, self-management and self-government ---- That is why we have joined the successive
campaigns for the freedom of Öcalan, who has been kidnapped by the Turkish State since 1999 in a regime of extreme isolation sentenced to
life imprisonment without the possibility of review or parole. ---- During these almost 22 years, Öcalan, now 71 years old, has hardly been
able to receive visits from his family or even from his lawyers.
Let us remember that Turkey belongs to the Council of Europe, whose Committee for the Prevention of Torture has already admitted in a last
report on August 5, 2020, that "the isolation system in Imrali that applies to Abdullah Öcalan is based on a regime torture ", urging the
Turkish government to grant Öcalan more foreign contact and less solitary confinement.
We cannot continue to make these events invisible, which have now exceeded two decades. CGT declares itself to be anti-prison, especially
when the Turkish State recognizes that Öcalan is a political prisoner.
That is why from CGT, on this October 10 declared by the Committees of solidarity with the Kurdish People, in which we participate, as a day
of struggle for the immediate liberation of Öcalan we encourage you to participate in this and the successive actions that They are going to
start to demand freedom for Öcalan. In addition to participating in the territorial support committees, we call on you to join the campaign
that will be launched next Tuesday, October 13, to demand the immediate freedom of Öcalan from the Turkish Embassy. We enclose detailed
information on the action and we salute the different support committees that have put up banners and gathered today in front of the Embassy.
If you wish, you can also send us horizontal photographs and videos demanding the freedom of Öcalan, to be disseminated throughout the campaign.
The moment is now!
Immediate freedom for Öcalan!

A very talented management to make the buzz with radical visuals but militant practices of the most corporatist and moderate... This is the
Info'com-CGT paradox, whose fortunes have suffered some setbacks lately. ---- A homophobic visual, which placed Laurent Berger (CFDT) and
Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux (Medef) in an SM scene, recently shed the spotlight on this small union. This is the opportunity to shed light on
this structure born in 2006 from the ashes of an old workers' organization: the Parisian Typographic Trade Union Chamber (CSTP). A powerful
trade union which has garnered immense success for the benefit of its members, but also an ideological pillar of reformism in the CGT since
always.
With the digitization of the 1980s and 1990s, the profession of typographer gradually disappeared, and the permanent staff of the CSTP
looked for a future. They renamed the Info'com structure, kept the jackpot accumulated by the CSTP over a century of activity and, to endure
in the press editors, undertook to organize staff in the field of unionization of other CGT unions, a competition however prohibited by the
confederal statutes. Poaching in the regional press, he will get angry with the SNJ-CGT. For a very low result. Apart from the Official
Journal, where the heads of Info'com are also managers of a sponsorship on part of the company where there is a non-strike bonus (!), A
presence at Publicis and Derichebourg, the 'Info'com extension failed.
Because in the profession, everyone knows that Info'com is a very moderate union, which is opposed to strikes that could hinder the
publication of a newspaper. Marc Peyrade himself, founder of Info'com then secretary general of the CGT du Livre federation, recognized that
in the name of the democratic press information mission, he could not get used to the idea of stop the logs ...
An unlikely coupling with SUD-PTT 92 and CGT-Goodyear
When Peyrade died, the noise-making machine got carried away. As it does not exist in the field of businesses and struggles, Info'com has
specialized in provocation, with very strong visuals, to the point of selling them, and invoicing them to other organizations ! Its
positions have been more and more radical, often correct but totally disconnected from its actual practices. Skilled on social networks to
capture radicalism, taking initiatives that sometimes filled the voids of the confederal leadership, Info'com has joined forces, in an
improbable team, with two authentic fight unions, SUD-PTT 92 and the CGT -Goodyear. But it is not so easy to build an alternative to CGT !
The launch of a well-publicized strike fund was Info'com's latest success, whose star has recently faded: some of the historic leaders have
been sidelined, and the alliance with SUD -PTT 92 fizzled out. Finally, Michaël Wamen, ex-leader of CGT-Goodyear, who had joined Info'com
after a professional retraining, resigned in May with a bang, publicly deploring the duplicity and venality he says he discovered there. ...

The Sub-Secretariat of the Asia Pacific IWA is calling on all friends and supporters and those who believe in the rights of workers to
support the IWA campaign for justice for 11 former Ansell Lanka workers unjustly sacked for attempting to unionise their workplace. ----
This group ofworkers included some who had worked for the company for 20 years and decided to unionise their workplace to combat the
intimidation they were subject to and to protect their interests. On 13 October 2013, they were summarily dismissed. The workers launched a
legal action in the courts in Sri Lanka but the case has dragged on for almost 7 years with the Ansell company instructing their legal team
to appeal and delay as much as is possible to thwart the workers pursuit of justice.
An email protest was conducted on 26 August 2020. Ansell continues to claim it has done no wrong and is only abiding by local labour laws.
Ansell fails to mention it has appealed against findings made in favour of the Ansell Lanka workers in the courts.
This is the statement made on 10 October 2020 by Ansell Lanka workers:
"We were surprised to see the e-mail you sent. ( Response by Ansell to the first email protest) Because we do not see the beautiful
conditions you mentioned in the Ansell factory in Sri Lanka.
Your 2018 Human Rights report, published under employees representation, it is limited only to a report instead of being implemented in Sri
Lanka.
Although stated the Ansell company acknowledges recognition of the union as an employee's bargaining agent, retaliation against from the
union officials were taking place at the Ansell factory in Sri Lanka. The example of this is the unjust termination of the services of
eleven officers, including the trade union branch president in 2013, without following any disciplinary procedure. It is clearly stated in
the judgment of the Industrial court. Therefore, we propose you to read the industrial court judgment clearly.
Instead of enforcing that decision, you have challenged. This only prolongs the problem further.
Therefore, we request again you to reinstate the 11 employees and review andpay them the compensation ordered by the Industrial court of Sri
Lanka.
After 2013, we strongly believe that there is nothing stopping you from doing it, looking at the way you have acted. We feel it is
unnecessary to give the examples for it.
We hope you will do the right thing. We also emphasize that if you fail to do so, we will not hesitate to take strong protest action against
your company.
We hope you think about your reputation and take that action."
We are calling for a second email protest to be sent to Ansell to the following email addresses on 11 October 2020 and right throughout the
IWA International Week Against Unpaid Wages 12 October-18 October;
Magnus Nicolin
Managing Director and Chief Exceutive Officer,
Email: mrnicolin@ansell.com
Catherine Stribley
Company secretary,
Email: catherine.stribley@ansell.com
Please let them know of your concern that workers have been sacked for nothing other than exercising their right to organise as workers into
a union and pursue and protect their interests by collective bargaining.
The demands of the unjustly sacked Ansell Lanka workers are:
*Condemnation of violence perpetrated by the Ansell Corporation against workers organising unions to protect their interests.
* Condemnation of arbitrary termination of employment by the Ansell Corporation without due process of its workers for organising unions to
protect their interests.
*Demand the full re-instatement of the workers.
*Demand full compensation for loss incurred due to unjust termination of employment.

The history of the revolutionaries of the Front de liberation du Québec (FLQ) is far from being limited to the events of October (see: 50
years ago ... "the crisis" of October). Indeed, it was only after having carried out a series of violent actions since 1963 that the FLQ
carried out its two political kidnappings. Note that at the end of this decade, the FLQ and the various sub-groups that made it up (Army of
Liberation of Quebec (ALQ), Revolutionary Army of Quebec, (ARQ) and the Union for the Armed Liberation of Quebec[1]) placed or detonated
more than 200 bombs, committed dozens of hold-ups and succeeded in the spectacular feat of emptying the military arsenals[2]of the Fusiliers
du Mont-Royal (regiment of reservists) and of the regiment field artillery in Shawinigan (reserve regiment) during an operation called
Casernes in 1964. In addition, the activities of the FLQ led to the death of Deputy Prime Minister Pierre Laporte,
It is too often forgotten that the political kidnappings that will lead to the October crisis were motivated by the desire to free 23
political prisoners. Among these 23 prisoners who were arrested in the different waves and networks of the FLQ that followed one another,
three were native of Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean: Pierre Demers, Réjean Tremblay and André Lessard.
In May 1970, Réjean Tremblay and André Lessard were arrested in Alma. They are then accused of having committed a dozen hold-ups in banks
and Caisses Populaires Desjardins as part of the activities of a FLQ financing network. In July, Jacques Boulianne was also arrested in
Alma. He is accused of having started five fires in public and commercial buildings in the region and of trying to start another. In a
letter dated October 13, 1970, which he launched in court when he appeared for his sentence, he claimed his membership in the FLQ. The fact
that the latter's name does not appear on the list of 23 political prisoners of the FLQ may lead us to predict that Boulianne may have been
ultimately a "lone wolf".
Le Soleil , October 15, 1970
Following the kidnapping of James Richard Cross, Réjean Tremblay gives an interview to a journalist from the daily Le Soleil: "André Lessard
and I will refuse to leave Quebec because we are innocent of the crime we are accused of. ". A little later in the article, Tremblay
mentions that it would be preferable for the government to give in to the kidnappers' demands and that sooner or later the Felquists will
have to resolve to liquidate someone: "If they release Cross, we will doubt that their seriousness, if ever there was another kidnapping,
the government would not respond. One day or another, it will have to come to this situation. "
Le Soleil , October 10, 1970
Réjean Tremblay and André Lessard became known a few years earlier for having taken part in the La Macaza affair. They were also sentenced
to two and a half years in prison respectively.
The incredible affair of La Macaza.
La Macaza is a military base located in the Laurentians. It is then one of the points of the defense system of North America and shelters
Bomrac missiles armed with nuclear warheads provided by the American army. As Louis Fournier mentions in his book FLQ Histoire d'un
mouvement clandestin , the introduction of such weapons had already provoked many peaceful demonstrations in 1964 at the initiative of the
movement for nuclear disarmament and peace led by journalist Jacques Larue. -Langlois.
In the summer of 1965, a commando made up of seven people from two cells of the FLQ, one from Montreal and the other from
Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean (Réjean Tremblay, André Lessard and Bertrand Simard), all former ARQ[3]militants camped near the La Macaza base. A
shooting breaks out between the police and the commando after the denunciation of the presence of the militants by a citizen. A felquist is
seriously injured and a police officer is kidnapped. A few days later, the last fleeing felquistes surrendered. According to the police, the
guerrillas intended to blow up the military base, but the proof of the plot has never been established (Fournier, p.109). Eventually, they
will be charged and convicted of assault, illegal possession of weapons and complicity in kidnapping.
Le Soleil, July 19, 1965
The big night
"13 people were arrested, multiple searches, a climate of tension, this is what sums up the great night of October 16, which reminded many
of the dark days of the 1939-45 war ..." ( Le Soleil, October 17, 1970 )
Le Soleil , October 17, 1970
After October ...
On August 3, 1971, a bomb exploded in a Steinberg business in Arvida where the employees were on strike. Louis Fournier mentions that:
"Everything indicates that this attack is of a purely local nature. But strangely, he will be claimed a week later in a press release issued
by Carole Devault on behalf of a fake FLQ cell.»(Fournier, p.409).
Le Soleil , August 18, 1971
Today...
It seems a long time ago when a significant proportion of separatists were not only revolutionary, but also in solidarity with national
liberation struggles, wanted the liberation of Capital workers and the liberation of Quebec women from their specific oppressions (Fournier,
p. 425). Today, the flag of the patriots and the image of the old 1837-1838 have become old-fashioned objects sullied by the extreme
right-wing identity and the conspirators. (see:Manif conspi in Chicoutimi. What TVA and Le Quotidien failed to mention )
[1]"Two terrorists would have committed 10 hold-ups", Le Soleil, edition of June 2, 1970, p. 24.
[2]The loot includes 92 FN 7.62 machine guns, 34 Sten machine guns, four field mortars, 3 anti-tank rocket launchers, grenades, pistols,
ammunition, and more.
[3]ARQ or the network of François Scrim. François Scrim and Edmond Guénette are initially sentenced to death for the International Firearms
raid which resulted in the death of two people.

COMMUNICATION FROM THE INDIGENOUS REVOLUTIONARY CLANDESTINE COMMITTEE-GENERAL COMMAND OF THE ZAPATISTA NATIONAL LIBERATION ARMY. ----
MEXICO. ---- OCTOBER 5, 2020. ---- To the National Indigenous Congress-Indigenous Governing Council: ---- To the Sixth National and
International: ---- To the Networks of Resistance and Rebellion: ---- To the honest people who resist in all corners of the planet: ----
Sisters, brothers, siblings: ---- Companions, companions and companions: ---- The indigenous peoples of Mayan and Zapatista roots salute
them and tell them what came of our common thought, according to what we look at, hear and feel. ---- First.- We look and listen to a sick
world in its social life, fragmented into millions of people alien to each other, bent on their individual survival, but united under the
oppression of a system ready to do anything to quench its thirst for profit, even when it is clear that his path goes against the existence
of planet Earth.
The aberration of the system and its stupid defense of "progress" and "modernity" crashes against a criminal reality: femicides. The murder
of women has no color or nationality, it is worldwide. If it is absurd and unreasonable for someone to be persecuted, disappeared, killed
because of their skin color, their race, their culture, their beliefs; it cannot be believed that being a woman amounts to a sentence of
marginalization and death.
In a foreseeable escalation (harassment, physical violence, mutilation and murder), with the endorsement of structural impunity ("she
deserved it", "she had tattoos", "what was she doing in that place at that time?", " with those clothes, it was to be expected "), the
murders of women have no criminal logic other than that of the system. Of different social strata, different races, ages ranging from early
childhood to old age, and in geographies that are distant from each other, gender is the only constant. And the system is unable to explain
why this goes hand in hand with its "development" and "progress." In the outrageous statistics of deaths, the more "developed" a society is,
the greater the number of victims in this authentic gender war.
And "civilization" seems to say to native peoples: "the proof of your underdevelopment is in your low rate of femicides. Have your
megaprojects, your trains, your thermoelectric plants, your mines, your dams, your shopping centers, your appliance stores -with a
television channel included-, and learn to consume. Be like us. To pay off the debt of this progressive aid, their lands, their waters,
their cultures, their dignities are not enough. They must complete with the lives of women ".
Second.- We look and listen to nature wounded to death, and that, in its agony, warns humanity that the worst is yet to come. Each "natural"
catastrophe announces the next and conveniently forgets that it is the action of a human system that causes it.
Death and destruction are no longer a distant thing, which is limited to borders, respects customs and international conventions. The
destruction in any corner of the world, affects the entire planet.
Third.- We watch and listen to the powerful retreating and hiding in the so-called National States and their walls. And, in that impossible
leap back, fascist nationalisms, ridiculous chauvinisms and deafening verbiage revive. In this we see the wars to come, those that feed on
false, hollow, lying stories and that translate nationalities and races into supremacies that will be imposed by way of death and
destruction. In different countries there is a dispute between foremen and those who aspire to succeed them, hiding that the boss, the
master, the boss, is the same and has no nationality other than that of money. Meanwhile, international organizations languish and become
mere names, like museum pieces ... or not even that.
In the darkness and confusion that precede those wars, we listen and watch the attack, siege, and pursuit of any hint of creativity,
intelligence, and rationality. Faced with critical thinking, the powerful demand, demand and impose their fanaticism. The death that they
plant, cultivate and harvest is not just physical; it also includes the extinction of humanity's own universality -intelligence-, its
advances and achievements. New esoteric currents are reborn or are created, secular and not, disguised as intellectual fashions or pseudo
sciences; and the arts and sciences seek to be subjugated to political militancy.
Fourth.- The COVID 19 Pandemic not only showed the vulnerabilities of the human being, but also the greed and stupidity of the different
national governments and their supposed oppositions. Measures of the most elementary common sense were despised, always betting that the
Pandemic would be short-lived. When the passage of the disease became more and more prolonged, the numbers began to replace tragedies. Death
thus became a figure that is lost daily amid scandals and statements. A gloomy comparison between ridiculous nationalisms. The batting and
earned run percentage that determines which team, or Nation, is better or worse.
As detailed in one of the previous texts, in Zapatismo we opted for prevention and the application of sanitary measures that, at the time,
were consulted with scientists who guided us and offered, without hesitation, their help. The Zapatista peoples are grateful to them and we
wanted to show it that way. After 6 months of the implementation of these measures (covers mouths or its equivalent, distance between
people, closure of direct personal contacts with urban areas, quarantine of 15 days for those who may have been in contact with infected
people, frequent washing with soap and water ), we regret the death of 3 colleagues who presented two or more symptoms associated with Covid
19 and who had direct contact with those infected.
Another 8 companions and a companion, who died in that period, presented one of the symptoms. As we lack the possibility of proof, we assume
that all 12 comrades died from the so-called Corona virus (scientists recommended us to assume that any respiratory difficulty would be
Covid 19). These 12 absences are our responsibility. They are not the fault of the 4T or the opposition, of neoliberals or neoconservatives,
of chairmen or fifís, of conspiracies or plots. We think that we should have taken even more precautions.
Currently, with the lack of those 12 comrades, we improve prevention measures in all communities, now with the support of Non-Governmental
Organizations and scientists who, individually or collectively, guide us in how to deal with with more strength a possible regrowth. Tens of
thousands of mouth covers (specially designed to prevent a probable carrier from infecting other people, inexpensive, reusable and adapted
to the circumstances) have been distributed in all communities. Tens of thousands more are being produced in insurgent @ s embroidery and
sewing workshops and in villages. The massive use of mouth covers, the two-week quarantines for those who could be infected, the distance
and the continuous washing of hands and face with soap and water,
The details of what was and is our strategy may be consulted in due course. For now we say, with life beating in our bodies, that, according
to our assessment (in which we can probably be wrong), facing the threat as a community, not as an individual matter, and directing our main
effort to prevention, we It allows us to say, as Zapatista peoples: here we are, we resist, we live, we fight.
And now, all over the world, big capital wants to return to the streets so that people can resume their status as consumers. Because it is
the market's problems that concern him: the lethargy in the consumption of merchandise.
You have to take back the streets, yes, but to fight. Because, as we have said before, life, the struggle for life, is not an individual
matter, but a collective one. Now it is being seen that it is not a matter of nationalities, it is global.
- ? -
Many of these things we look at and hear. And we think about them a lot. But not only...
Fifth.- We also listen and look at the resistances and rebellions that, not because they are silenced or forgotten, cease to be key, clues
of a humanity that refuses to follow the system in its hasty passage to collapse: the mortal train of progress that advances, superb and
impeccable, towards the cliff. While the machinist forgets that he is just another employee and believes, naively, that he decides the way,
when he is only following the prison of the rails towards the abyss.
Resistance and rebellion that, without forgetting the cry for absences, insist on fighting for -who would say-, the most subversive thing
that exists in those worlds divided between neoliberals and neoconservatives-: life.
Rebellions and resistances that understand, each one in their own way, their time and their geography, that the solutions are not in the
faith in the national governments, that they are not gestated protected by borders or wear different flags and languages.
Resistances and rebellions that teach us, we Zapatistas, that the solutions could be below, in the basements and corners of the world. Not
in government palaces. Not in the offices of large corporations.
Rebellions and resistance that show us that, if those from above break the bridges and close the borders, it remains to navigate rivers and
seas to find ourselves. That the cure, if there is one, is worldwide, and has the color of the earth, of the work that lives and dies in
streets and neighborhoods, in seas and skies, in the mountains and in its entrails. That, like the original corn, many are its colors, its
tones and sounds.
- ? -
All this, and more, we watch and listen. And we look at each other and listen to each other for what we are: a number that does not count.
Because life does not matter, it does not sell, it is not news, it does not enter the statistics, it does not compete in polls, it does not
have a rating on social networks, it does not provoke, it does not represent political capital, party flag, fashion scandal. Who cares that
a small, tiny group of natives, indigenous people, lives, that is, they fight?
Because we happen to live. That despite paramilitaries, pandemics, megaprojects, lies, slander and oblivion, we live. I mean, we fight.
And we think about this: that we continue to fight. That is, we continue living. And we think that during all these years, we have received
the brotherly embrace of people from our country and the world. And we think that if life resists here and, not without difficulties,
flourishes, it is thanks to those people who challenged distances, procedures, borders, and cultural and language differences. Thanks to
them, they, they - but above all they - who challenged and defeated calendars and geographies.
In the mountains of the Mexican southeast, all the worlds of the world found, and find, heard in our hearts. His word and action was food
for resistance and rebellion, which are but a continuation of those of our predecessors.
People with the sciences and the arts as a way, they found the way to embrace and encourage us, even from a distance. Journalists, fifís and
no, who reported misery and death before, dignity and life always. People of all professions and trades who, a lot for us, maybe a little
for them, were, are.
And we thought about all this in our collective heart, and it came to our thoughts that it is now time for us, we, we Zapatistas, to
correspond to the ear, the word and the presence of those worlds. The near and far in geography.
Sixth.- And this we have decided:
That it is time again for hearts to dance, and that their music and their steps are not those of regret and resignation.
That various Zapatista delegations, men, women and others of the color of our land, we will go out to travel the world, we will walk or sail
to remote soils, seas and skies, seeking not difference, not superiority, not affront, much less forgiveness and pity.
We will go to find what makes us equal.
Not only humanity that animates our different skins, our different ways, our different languages and colors. Also, and above all, the common
dream that, as a species, we have shared since, in Africa that seems far away, we started walking on the lap of the first woman: the search
for freedom that animated that first step ... and that continues to walk .
That the first destination of this planetary journey will be the European continent.
That we will sail to European lands. That we will leave and that we will set sail, from Mexican lands, in the month of April of the year 2021.
That, after traveling through various corners of Europe below and to the left, we will arrive in Madrid, the Spanish capital, on August 13,
2021 -500 years after the supposed conquest of what is now Mexico. And that, immediately after, we will continue the path.
That we will speak to the Spanish people. Not to threaten, reproach, insult or demand. Not to demand that you ask us for forgiveness. Not to
serve you or to serve us.
We are going to tell the people of Spain two simple things:
One: They didn't win us over. That we continue in resistance and rebellion.
Two: That they don't have to ask us to forgive them anything. Enough of playing with the distant past to justify, with demagoguery and
hypocrisy, current and ongoing crimes: the murder of social fighters, such as brother Samir Flores Soberanes; the genocides hidden behind
megaprojects, conceived and carried out for the happiness of the powerful - the same one that is scourging every corner of the planet-;
monetary encouragement and impunity for the paramilitaries; the purchase of consciences and dignities with 30 coins.
We, we, we Zapatistas DO NOT want to return to that past, not alone, much less by the hand of those who want to sow racial resentment and
intend to feed their outdated nationalism with the supposed splendor of an empire, the Aztec, which grew up to cost of the blood of their
fellow men, and who wants to convince us that, with the fall of that empire, the original peoples of these lands were defeated.
Neither the Spanish State nor the Catholic Church have to ask us for forgiveness of anything. We will not echo the phonies who ride on our
blood and thus hide that their hands are stained with it.
What is Spain going to apologize for? Of having given birth to Cervantes? To José Espronceda? Leon Felipe? Federico García Lorca? Manuel
Vázquez Montalbán? Miguel Hernández? Pedro Salinas? Antonio Machado? Lope de Vega? To Bécquer? Almudena Grandes? Panchito Varona, Ana Belén,
Sabina, Serrat, Ibáñez, Llach, Amparanoia, Miguel Ríos, Paco de Lucía, Víctor Manuel, Aute always? Buñuel, Almodóvar and Agrado, Saura,
Fernán Gómez, Fernando León, Bardem? Dalí, Miró, Goya, Picasso, El Greco and Velázquez? Some of the best of world critical thinking, stamped
with the libertarian "A"? To the republic? To exile? To the Mayan brother Gonzalo Guerrero?
What is the Catholic Church going to apologize for? From the passage of Bartolomé de las Casas? From Don Samuel Ruiz García? From Arturo
Lona? From Sergio Méndez Arceo? From Sister Chapis? From the steps of the priests, religious and secular sisters who have walked alongside
the original ones without directing or supplanting them? Of those who risk their freedom and life to defend human rights?
- ? -
The year 2021 will mark the 20th anniversary of the Earth Color March, which we carry out, together with the sister peoples of the National
Indigenous Congress, to claim a place in this Nation that is now crumbling.
20 years later we will sail and walk to tell the planet that, in the world that we feel in our collective heart, there is room for everyone,
everyone, everything. Simply and simply because that world is only possible if everyone, everyone, everything, struggles to raise it.
The Zapatista delegations will be made up mainly of women. Not only because they intend to return the hug they received in previous
international meetings. Also, and above all, so that the Zapatista men make it clear that we are what we are, and we are not what we are
not, thanks to them, for them and with them.
We invite the CNI-CIG to form a delegation to accompany us and thus be richer in our word for the other that fights far away. We especially
invite a delegation from the peoples that raise the name, the image and the blood of brother Samir Flores Soberanes, so that his pain, his
anger, his struggle and resistance reach further.
We invite those whose vocation, commitment and horizon, the arts and sciences, to accompany, from a distance, our navigations and steps. And

This is our commitment:
In front of the powerful trains, our canoes.

In Kyrgyzstan, riots took place aimed at canceling the results of the parliamentary elections. Protesters seized government buildings and
freed the imprisoned politicians, who immediately proceeded to divide power. Meanwhile, President Sooronbai Jeenbekov is not going to give
it up yet. About what provoked the next revolution, what examples of self-organization the residents demonstrate and what position the
anarchists take, a member of the KyrSots movement, anarchist Abdykul Yessenov, told Avtonom. ---- What are the reasons for the current
situation in Kyrgyzstan? How do you feel about what is happening?
- The reasons for the current situation in Kyrgyzstan are wholly and entirely caused by anti-social and undemocratic actions of the existing
legislative and executive authorities. Especially against the background of the worsening "coronacrisis" in society, the contradiction
between the haves and have-nots clearly stood out. While tax holidays were announced in the country, no one forbade the dismissal of
workers. During this difficult period for the people of Kyrgyzstan, the government provided practically no support. Most of the problems
were solved by the personal heroism of doctors, volunteers and individual low-ranking civil servants.
Against the background of all this, new elections to the Jogorku Kenesh (parliament) begin. The pre-election race begins, in which
pro-government parties such as Birimdik and Mekenim Kyrgyzstan (Birimdik is a pro-Russian party, Mekenim Kyrgyzstan is the party of the
Matraimov clan) are clearly distinguished by their resources. It is not surprising that, having such abundant financial resources and
connections, these parties received an absolute majority of mandates in the elections. The result was a political crisis, when 50% of the
population did not vote at all, and another 25% voted for non-governmental parties.
All this resulted in a rally on October 5 and street night battles with the police from October 5 to 6.
Part of the militia went over to the side of the protesters, and in the morning they seized the building of the Jogorku Kenesh.
In theory, at the moment the parties that led the protest on October 5 should have unified and started proposing any solutions, but it would
be a mistake to consider this opposition not only left, but even more or less reasonable. They divided the protest into several groups and
began to divide the power in the country. Individual representatives of each of the parties began to seize state positions in enterprises.
At the same time, several people began to apply for the post of prime minister. The main contenders were[ex-deputy Sadyr]Japarov
and[ex-prime minister Omurbek]Babanov. Both began to gather their supporters across the country and take them to Bishkek.
And what is the social composition of these supporters?
- These are mainly people from the regions. The composition is very different. This is mainly a semi-proletarian population that survives by
seasonal work or has a small farm. By the way, "progressive liberal" youth also took the side of Babanov, but she did not represent much of
a force
What motivates them to participate?
- Poverty and a terrible social condition, which each of the opposition groups began to use, agitating them in favor of one of the
individuals. Unfortunately, these people are poorly educated and for the most part politically illiterate, so it is easy to convince them to
go after a more or less authoritative and strong person, especially in conditions of absolute anarchy in the country.
Are there examples of self-organization?
- Yes there is. For example, workers at the Talas high-voltage electric grid enterprise took advantage of the crisis and united to remove
the director of the enterprise, Mirlan Esenkulov, who was appointed by him from above.
They forced him to write a letter of resignation of his own free will and now collectively put in place and. about. director of its chief
engineer. Now they are waiting for the entire team to gather at the enterprise to hold the election of a director.
People's guards in the country can also serve as an example of self-organization, which came out to maintain order when the police and other
law enforcement agencies simply left the country to the will of fate. True, yesterday I left the squad: troops were brought into the city
yesterday, and they are clearly subordinate to the current president[Sooronbai Jeenbekov]. The organized squads, as far as I found out, were
coordinated for the most part by the former security officials, and now they were sent to support the military forces in the city. The
comrades with whom I met in them, now also do not burn with a special desire to go out and support the presidential forces, although many
still stayed.
And what about the history of the seizures of deposits?
- I have no unequivocal attitude to these events, everything is rather complicated. The deposits themselves are mainly owned by large
foreign companies: Bazymchak - Kazakh, Jerui - Russian. And the population decided that it would be better to seize them, but the workers of
these mines, also mostly local specialists, stood up to their defense. There were clashes between workers and the local population, which is
mainly engaged in agriculture. It turned out that it was not possible to seize the deposits in an organized manner and everything simply
resulted in robbery and arson of individual objects on them. Again, I repeat that everything is complicated and I am not ready to take sides
in this conflict. In fact, it would be correct to expropriate these deposits in an organized manner. But it turned out, how it happened ...
Whose side are the Nazis on? Is there a threat of interethnic clashes?
- Nationalist slogans were distributed from different camps, mainly from the Japarov camp. But I think this time interethnic enmity will
bypass our country. In the end, I myself am Russian by nationality, but I participated in the squad together with Kyrgyz and Uzbeks. And the
general population does not want national enmity in itself.
How will events develop further? Can anarchist tendencies (direct democracy, self-government) intensify? What are the activities of the
anarchists themselves?
- I'm afraid no one can say exactly what will happen next. Strengthening the anarchist movement depends entirely on the actions of anarchist
activists, on how willing they are to go to the masses and promote the ideas of equality and direct democracy. Unfortunately, in my leftist
movement "KyrSots" I am the only anarchist, and the anarchists from the Bishkek circle generally decided to stay away from the current process.
What conclusions can an anarchist draw from the situation?
- I think that the first conclusion that an anarchist must draw is rather harsh: our movement in Kyrgyzstan is extremely weak and cannot
radically affect the revolutionary situation in our country. And from it should immediately follow the hopeful conclusion that we need to
work: write articles, agitate, propagandize the anarchist and generally leftist idea to the masses. Third, in the current situation, the
population has become politically active, it may not be entirely obvious, but it has understood that it is not worth holding onto bourgeois
and clan politicians. Now it is a very fertile field for our activities.

Since March 2020 thousands of textile workers of the factories Dragon Sweater and Imperial Sweater (both belonging to Dragon Group) have
been fighting for wages and severance pay owed to them. Workers that used to produce for retailers such as New Yorker, Lidl and Walmart.
---- On October 4th some of them rallied to form a human chain as a way of protest nearby the factories. While doing so the workers were
attacked by a group of goons. They were most likely hired by the owners themselves to intimidate the fighting workers. Witnesses recognized
some of the attackers as they are familiar with the owner's security staff. They often observe the rallies held by the workers, but for the
first time they also physically attacked them. After a while they managed push back the attackers. In the end 12 workers had to be treated
at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Statement of Solidarity with the Workers of Belarus
In reaction hundreds of textile workers came together for a torch procession in the evening.
At night the GWTUC went to Hatir Jheel police station to file a complaint about the incident. The officer in charge refused to accept the
complaint. He insisted that first two parts need to be removed. One describing an incident in front of the police station and another the
physical abuse of female workers. In the end the GWTUC decided to issue a complaint at the district court.
At night the union was informed that the factory management submitted a complaint as well registered by police under penal code 326, which
is the charge of attempt to murder - a section not allowing any release on bail.
According to the GWTUC the owner claims that the incident happened in his factory, where workers forcefully entered with deadly weapons and
tried to kill and loot. Which simply wasn't the case, as can be easily seen from footage of the incident.
The following day workers held a demonstration to the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner office. There they found out that 15 workers
were named and up to 30 workers remained anonymous in the charges filed by the factory owner.
Needless to say, ICL considers this development unacceptable. The company has long been preparing the ground to deploy its strategy of union
repression, accusing the workers of going against the national interests of Bangladesh. Obviously, in the eyes of the company, an
uncomplaining acceptance of theft and terrorism from the bosses is the patriotic thing to do, as much as robing and attacking the workers.
Wasting time on arguments like these is probably not worth it. In the coming days and weeks, ICL's Asia working group will launch a series
of initiatives to make it clear to the company that such an attitude can't be tolerated. The only possible solution to the conflict is to
address the workers' demands. Until that time, international solidarity will continue to stand, without a doubt, by their side!

Take a large knife, bathe its blade in warm water, place it in a block of butter just taken from the fridge ... it looks like the beginning
of a B-series movie. But it is the graphic representation of how the Employers nailed it to us and keep nailing. And we emit a grunt as a
complaint, we look at the others around us and we say, what sons of bitches, something would have to be done ... but it better start another
and then "if that" (I read this expression more and more frequently and I like it) I'm already behind ---- And that's how our hair looks,
from tantrum to tantrum until the final tantrum. ---- And it's not that I'm the example to follow, not even an authorized voice (this one is
cool too) but it's just ...
How easy we made it. How easily they convinced us that freedom was going to the mall, going on vacation, owning a car, or whatever. And it
is very good, but surely there was another way to achieve it. Most wishes are legitimate, what usually makes them that way is how you get
them. Because if you have to work until you burst ... Because, as an example that we can apply to other "achievements" that we imagine, we
all know that the vast majority of second homes or vacation homes that currela people have have been paid based on overtime. That the
Employers paid (almost always dirty) delighted, knowing that in this way they avoided paying the contributions of a new hire (someone from
our same social class).
But we were excited with the bulky payroll, which was not such, if not a brown envelope like those of that well-known political party, and
suddenly there is no envelope or way to claim it, and there are needs.
But even more serious is the division it has created between workers. They have achieved that all our alternatives are in individual key. It
rarely works out. That's like bowing your head to endless shooting ... sooner rather than later you will be hunted. Because it is useless to
be a good worker, there is no use being docile, not even servile, when you stop being profitable, they will throw you out without regard. We
function as believers of a religion who pray to their God in the hope of not getting sick. And it is already known that while there is hope,
there is no work to change reality.
What psychological spring leads us to accept the conditions imposed by the Employers' Association? We think about it and convince ourselves
that it is what we really want. We play dreaming that we are rich, we laugh our thanks, we cry their misfortunes, we cuddle up as if wealth
were contagious. And that's despite the fact that we know that like beauty ... it doesn't stick. Of course, it is more comfortable, that it
has less consequences, to argue or confront our colleagues in the job than with the manager, boss or owner. Come on, we don't want to accept
that we are a cowardly gang.
Because certainly, the resignation that we have made as a Social Class is worthy of a Greek tragedy. And it has rarely been otherwise, but
it is currently hallucinating. Although it is also true that the springs of Capital do not give truce. What to say about our
"representatives". Perhaps the problem of that part has been to create those representatives and distance ourselves from our problem and
leave it in other hands. Perhaps you leave the operation of your house to the first opportunist who ... hey, wait, I'm not around, I mess it
up ... We leave it for another time. Maybe we will talk about recovering references from struggles. That exist, they exist. Beyond Athletic,
the tavern and the "Party" there is a hectic life.
Nobody says it is easy, but since we have no other choice, we have to cheer up, retrace the work done by the Employers, washing our brains.
The first step is to assume responsibility for what happens in our jobs, regain confidence in union work, in the support among colleagues,
organize ourselves outside the model based on union elections, which has led us to this dead end. departure, plagued with distrust and
careerists. I assure you that you will have fun and you will get a lot of scares and satisfactions, for example, seeing the face that your
boss has when you win by the hand. Seriously, after I tell you this, if you don't act, I won't want to listen to your complaints anymore.

We are calling for a second email protest to be sent to Ansell to the following email addresses on 11 October 2020 and right throughout the
IWA International Week Against Unpaid Wages 12 October-18 October;

Enough of playing with the distant past to justify, with demagoguery and
hypocrisy, current and ongoing crimes: the murder of social fighters, such as brother Samir Flores Soberanes; the genocides hidden behind
megaprojects, conceived and carried out for the happiness of the powerful - the same one that is scourging every corner of the planet-;
monetary encouragement and impunity for the paramilitaries; the purchase of consciences and dignities with 30 coins.
And
so they help us to spread that in them, sciences and arts, there is the possibility not only of the survival of humanity, but also of a new
world.
In short: we left for Europe in April 2021. The date and time? We don't know... yet.
- ? -
Companions, companions, companions:
Sisters, brothers and sisters:
This is our commitment:
In front of the powerful trains, our canoes.
In front of the thermoelectric plants, the little lights that the Zapatistas gave in custody to women who fight all over the world.
Facing walls and borders, our collective sailing.
In front of the great capital, a common milpa.
Faced with the destruction of the planet, a mountain sailing at dawn.
We are Zapatistas, carriers of the virus of resistance and rebellion. As such, we will go to the 5 continents.
That's all for now.
From the mountains of the mexican southeast.
On behalf of the Zapatista women, men and other women .
Insurgent Subcommander Moisés.
Mexico, October 2020.
PS- Yes, it is the sixth part and, like the trip, it will continue in the opposite direction. That is, the fifth part will follow, then the
fourth, then the third, it will continue in the second and end with the first.
