We do not come out of a meeting with Georges unscathed. While it is he who fights, day after day, the slow destruction inflicted by the
eternal prison, he remains the revolutionary militant of his youth. There are two dangers in prison, he insists: not keeping your mental
integrity and believing yourself to be the center of the world. He was able to avoid these two pitfalls.
In the prison, he established excellent relations with his fellow prisoners, in particular the Basque separatist activists of the ETA, also
sentenced to very long sentences. He is respected by his guardians. He keeps himself constantly informed through newspapers, radio or
television. He sometimes gets up in the middle of the night to listen to Sudanese radio which is not very scrambled at that time. He speaks
little of himself, but the dialogue with visitors allows him to refine his ideas on the state of the Arab world, the limits of the Arab
Spring, Palestine, the Sudanese revolution, the class struggle, the yellow vests, the revolution. Despite everything he goes through, he
remains very optimistic.
When the Palestinian prisoners go on a hunger strike against their conditions of detention, Georges calls one out of solidarity. When a
demonstration or a rally for his release takes place, Georges has a message read. Not to lament, but to analyze the situation and give

of the region will have to live together with the same rights. He is very appreciative of what the French Jewish Union for Peace (UJFP) is
doing, which shatters community clichés and brings concrete solidarity to the peasants of Gaza.
Every year, on October 24, around 500 people demonstrate in Lannemezan for his release. It is significant but it is too little. Whether you
are revolutionary, for the rights of the Palestinian people or quite simply for fundamental human rights, you must be there and there will
have to be many more and more numerous next October. For now, the far left is by far the main component of the movement for his liberation.
Georges receives an increasing number of visitors. There are now, in addition to the Lebanese ambassador, some elected officials (PCF,

Steve Choi, ILC's former CEO, was found guilty for ILC not paying $10 million worth of employment and sales tax.
ILC owes at least $10,000 to the union training fund, which they were required to pay by the CBA they bargained.
Over the last few years ILC has failed to make health care payments on behalf of employees and had to enter into long term payment plans to
the union health care fund under court orders.
The union won an arbitration against ILC for refusing to allow African-American workers to work in certain positions.ILC refused to comply
with the arbitrators ruling and the union had to take the case to civil court, where a judge again ruled in the union's favor.
The UNITE HERE members want money that they are owed by the company (recipient of GSA contracts to provide cafeteria services in federal
agencies) and called upon Congress to ensure recall rights, the ability to be reinstated when buildings across DC eventually reopen. At this
point it is not even clear if these union members demanding their rights will even be brought back, much less paid what they are owed. The
vast majority of UNITE HERE workers impacted by this, predictably, are people of color and Latino immigrants - the very populations most at
risk for illness and death during the pandemic.
The fact that federal contracts, that is the money of the American people, is awarded to companies that are breaking the law, is something
that is not unique to the Trump administration. But the extent of the corruption, and the devastating impact during the COVID-19 pandemic on

our neighborhood is particularly deplorable. Those who light the wicks of war want to present themselves as peacemakers, to promote the
interests of their bourgeoisie and to shape the geopolitical chessboard of the Eastern Mediterranean. As long as the imperialists ignite
transnational rivalries, they will conspire for the peace and security of the peoples, while at the same time hoarding the war industries
and business groups, as the respective investments and economic agreements will always be used as extortionate terms for any apparent aid.

attempted developmental reconstruction of the Greek capital, NATO's war plans, but also the suppression of any attempted mass expression of
social disobedience and class anger from below. This money could be used to meet the immediate needs of the people, for salaries, pensions,
benefits and allowances, health, education, housing, electricity and water for the poor. The state, however, shows us at every opportunity
which class it serves; that is, the few and the privileged, the capitalists.
In a possible war or hot episode between Greece and Turkey in the guillotine of the imperialist slaughterhouse will put the peoples of the
region, the producers of wealth and the youth of the two countries. But the oppressed and the exploited, no matter where we are on the map,
we have nothing to separate from each other. We must understand the community of our class interests and on this basis organize our
counterattack against those who oppress us and live by our toil. We are not going to fight for the interests of local and international
bosses, we are not going to fight for any homeland, nor are we going to turn the barrels of arms on the working classes of other countries,
from which the rulers are trying to separate us by any artificial means.
It is the duty of the oppressed and exploited to sabotage the machine of imperialist war and prevent the spread of nationalist poison in the
social body! Therefore, it is imperative to strengthen the international anti-war and anti-imperialist movement on the basis of proletarian
internationalism and the relentless anti-capitalist, revolutionary struggle. Only a united world proletariat, class-organized and
politically organized, can prevent the war plans of the capitalist oligarchy, clash and overthrow the state and the capitalists, to lead
collectively, ruthlessly and horizontally the economic and social life, for the construction of a stateless and classless society, of
liberal communism.

Solidarity with Dragon Group workers spreads across the globe ---- September 6th/7th: Textile workers rally and attempt to lay siege on

Dragon Group workers in Bangladesh vow to continue their fight. Global solidarity spreads
Following the signing of the agreement, GWTUC have asked their international comrades to halt the solidarity actions for the time being. The
union will closely monitor that the agreement is respected and will take action again if any irregularities are detected.
ICL is a federalist organisation. The workers on the ground are the ones making the decisions, with full autonomy, regarding their
struggles. The International only coordinates the support that other sections and contacts can offer in this endeavour. The initiative
always lies with the workers involved in the conflict, as must be.
Therefore, in response to the GWTUC's request, we call on all unions, groups and organisations that have already demonstrated their
solidarity with the Dragon Group's comrades, to remain alert in case the agreement is not respected. As we already told the company once,
ICL is not a neutral body or an impartial arbitrator. We will always stand by the workers, in Bangladesh and around the world, ready and
willing to respond to their demands, as is the case now.

Yesterday a general strike was called at the University and the Research Centers to denounce and demand, among other demands, a free public
university, labor and personal conciliation and direct hiring. The strike was widely supported by workers from both sectors. ---- The day of
struggle in the city of Valencia consisted of a morning rally at the University of Valencia Rector and in the afternoon a unitary rally in
front of the Faculty of Medicine. Student organizations, workers from the scientific sector and associate professors from the university
also participated in the event. Blasco Ibáñez Avenue has been cut off and slogans such as: "Workers and students united forward", "Without
science there is no future" or "No to precarious research" have been heard.
In the Community of Madrid, the unitary strike of research and universities of the last day of 21O has been actively promoted from the
alliance and collaboration between CNT, FEL and CGT. Yesterday several informational pickets were held, complementing the banners placed
last Monday on various university campuses and other information events deployed: virtual press conference, interviews with the media,
uproar on social networks ... Particularly, from CNT-Comarcal Sur we were picketing in the Madrid headquarters of the UOC -institution that
still does not recognize the work of its collaborating teaching staff and their tutors-, as well as in the Ministry of Science, because
without a science committed to social transformation and that starts from the dignity of its workers..., where are we going? Already in the
afternoon, with the demonstration, that toured part of the city center of Madrid (Atocha - Neptuno - Sol) from 6:00 p.m., in which other
student groups also participated (thank you!), we put a point and followed this joint work for a present and a future worthy in universities
and public research centers. One point and followed, yes, or perhaps two points or an ellipsis, because it is time to continue weaving links

Georges Ibrahim Abdallah, Lebanese communist activist and fighter for a free and democratic Palestine, has been imprisoned in France since
1984. Releasable since 1999, his continued detention is a matter of state revenge and the maintenance of the imperialist interests of
France, of the states -United and Israel. --- During the civil war in Lebanon 40 years ago, the Palestinians represented a revolutionary
hope for all the peoples of the region. The Palestinian refugee camps in the country are bubbling with this hope. Israeli troops will then

uncompromising on the legitimacy of his commitment: "I must not say that I am innocent" . Any hope for the authorities that he "renounces"
is absurd.

A release that should have already taken place
The perpetrators of attacks in France linked to Iran or Hezbollah at the end of the 1980s will be quickly released or exchanged. In Lebanon,
after 1990, all warlords with bloody hands will be cleared or amnestied and will share power. But when one is called "Abdallah", one is
necessarily an "Islamist terrorist". In this secure France and leading an imperialist policy, Georges, who is a Marxist-Leninist born into a
Christian family, will pay a heavy price.
Our leaders repeat over and over again the words "Rule of law", "Republic", "human rights", terms which they never cease to empty of their
meaning. What our police and legal system will inflict on Georges is astounding: a life sentence for complicity in terrorism when the
victims are members of the secret services of foreign countries regularly guilty of state terrorism. Whoever had him arrested explains that
the evidence was fabricated. His first lawyer admits having been recruited by the French secret services.
However, there will be no new trial. Since 1999, Georges has been "released" since real life imprisonment does not exist in France. But this
liberation will never take place. Justice will however pronounce this release on several occasions. In 2012, all of progressive Lebanon
rushed to the airport to welcome him since liberation was accompanied by deportation. But nothing will happen. The governments of Israel and
the United States (through Hillary Clinton) demand that France continue to be detained. And among the French leaders, it is the ineffable
Manuel Valls, then Minister of the Interior, who will refuse to sign the release and expulsion.
Since then, Georges refuses the humiliation of asking for his release once again. In torn and bankrupt Lebanon, Georges is no longer a
subject of conflict. President Michel Aoun has officially requested his release and deportation. The Lebanese Ambassador visited Georges in
Lannemezan. But nothing helps. As Georges explains himself: "Lebanon is a small country, decisions are made elsewhere" . And France, which
is trying to criminalize anti-Zionism and the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) campaign against the State of Israel, behaves like a
valuable ally of Netanyahu by treating George as the main Palestinian leaders are treated.
The activist and his humanity
We do not come out of a meeting with Georges unscathed. While it is he who fights, day after day, the slow destruction inflicted by the
eternal prison, he remains the revolutionary militant of his youth. There are two dangers in prison, he insists: not keeping your mental
integrity and believing yourself to be the center of the world. He was able to avoid these two pitfalls.
In the prison, he established excellent relations with his fellow prisoners, in particular the Basque separatist activists of the ETA, also
sentenced to very long sentences. He is respected by his guardians. He keeps himself constantly informed through newspapers, radio or
television. He sometimes gets up in the middle of the night to listen to Sudanese radio which is not very scrambled at that time. He speaks
little of himself, but the dialogue with visitors allows him to refine his ideas on the state of the Arab world, the limits of the Arab
Spring, Palestine, the Sudanese revolution, the class struggle, the yellow vests, the revolution. Despite everything he goes through, he
remains very optimistic.
When the Palestinian prisoners go on a hunger strike against their conditions of detention, Georges calls one out of solidarity. When a
demonstration or a rally for his release takes place, Georges has a message read. Not to lament, but to analyze the situation and give
leads. (When the Raid landed violently at the author of these lines on June 9, 2015 following the hacking of his telephone line by a
far-right Zionist, one of the first messages of solidarity that I received came from Georges. He explained to him that the Zionists and the
French state did not miss the wrong target, since it supports the Palestinian cause.
On Palestine, which is at the heart of his commitment (he joined the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine very early on), Georges
has very internationalist views. He can be very critical, vis-à-vis the Palestinian bourgeoisie and Arafat. Georges denounces the
capitulations, the departure of the PLO from Lebanon, the Oslo accords. He shares the idea that after the defeat of Zionism, the inhabitants
of the region will have to live together with the same rights. He is very appreciative of what the French Jewish Union for Peace (UJFP) is
doing, which shatters community clichés and brings concrete solidarity to the peasants of Gaza.
Every year, on October 24, around 500 people demonstrate in Lannemezan for his release. It is significant but it is too little. Whether you
are revolutionary, for the rights of the Palestinian people or quite simply for fundamental human rights, you must be there and there will
have to be many more and more numerous next October. For now, the far left is by far the main component of the movement for his liberation.
Georges receives an increasing number of visitors. There are now, in addition to the Lebanese ambassador, some elected officials (PCF,
France Insoumise). In Lebanon, demonstrations are held in front of the French embassy. Two films and a book will be released very soon.
Fedayeen, produced by members of the Palestine Vaincra de Toulouse committee, retraces Georges' journey from his village in North Lebanon
until his arrest. Several interviews allow us to understand how this incredible scandal is perpetuated.

On October 7, 2020, members of UNITE HERE Local 23 rallied in front of the Madison Building of the Library of Congress and marched to Mitch
McConnell's house demanding money that workers are owed by a federal contractor, I.L. Creations, which operates cafeterias at various
federal agencies in D.C., including the Library of Congress, the USDA, Department of State. ---- UNITE HERE members were joined by other
federal union local members in a show of solidarity, braving the pandemic, and maintaining physical distancing while making their voices
heard. ---- Left without jobs, without health insurance and with their unemployment benefits about to run out in this precarious time, even
food service workers who work in the corridors of power are in danger. Workers are owed money and unused leave payouts and I.L. Creations
won't even come to the table, though other similarly-situated companies in the region have.
A list of I.L. Creations illegal undertakings include:
Steve Choi, ILC's former CEO, was found guilty for ILC not paying $10 million worth of employment and sales tax.
ILC owes at least $10,000 to the union training fund, which they were required to pay by the CBA they bargained.
Over the last few years ILC has failed to make health care payments on behalf of employees and had to enter into long term payment plans to
the union health care fund under court orders.
The union won an arbitration against ILC for refusing to allow African-American workers to work in certain positions.ILC refused to comply
with the arbitrators ruling and the union had to take the case to civil court, where a judge again ruled in the union's favor.
The UNITE HERE members want money that they are owed by the company (recipient of GSA contracts to provide cafeteria services in federal
agencies) and called upon Congress to ensure recall rights, the ability to be reinstated when buildings across DC eventually reopen. At this
point it is not even clear if these union members demanding their rights will even be brought back, much less paid what they are owed. The
vast majority of UNITE HERE workers impacted by this, predictably, are people of color and Latino immigrants - the very populations most at
risk for illness and death during the pandemic.
The fact that federal contracts, that is the money of the American people, is awarded to companies that are breaking the law, is something
that is not unique to the Trump administration. But the extent of the corruption, and the devastating impact during the COVID-19 pandemic on
our siblings in the so-called "hospitality" and related industries in DC, shows how disgraceful and cynical capitalism is, as interpreted by
an administration that would love to see an at-will, unprotected workforce sacrificedto "the economy". Right now, that is exactly what is
happening.

The end of summer and the beginning of autumn were hot times for the section of the anarcho-syndicalist International in Spain - CNT-AIT.
All over the country, comrades are actively involved in labor conflicts and the economic class struggle against capital. ---- In Albacete,
at the end of September, a labor conflict began with the administration of the cafe "La Boheme" in connection with the dismissal of a member
of the interprofessional union CNT-AIT and non-payment of wage arrears. The comrade started working as a waiter's assistant in January, but
was forced to act as a waiter and assistant in the kitchen until he was fired in March under the pretext of quarantine. The firm refused to

The Greek state, by providing steadfastness to the American imperialists, seeks its premium from the latter in its perpetual competition
with the Turkish state in the Aegean and the Eastern Mediterranean. German, French and American imperialists are ready to take on the role
of mediator, to discipline the Greek and Turkish states in the demands of the EU and NATO. However, any efforts for diplomatic compromise
are taking place in a particularly tense climate, as NATO troops have flooded the Mediterranean. It is a given, then, that the situation in
our neighborhood is particularly deplorable. Those who light the wicks of war want to present themselves as peacemakers, to promote the
interests of their bourgeoisie and to shape the geopolitical chessboard of the Eastern Mediterranean. As long as the imperialists ignite
transnational rivalries, they will conspire for the peace and security of the peoples, while at the same time hoarding the war industries
and business groups, as the respective investments and economic agreements will always be used as extortionate terms for any apparent aid.

The United States has assigned the Greek state the role of watchdog in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Balkans. For this very reason, the
Greek territory has been transformed into a vast NATO base. American imperialism is constantly competing with the Russian and Chinese agents
in the region. The Russians are trying to gain influence in Cyprus (see Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov's visit to Cyprus) and Serbia
(see joint Russian-Serbian military exercises in Belarus), while the Chinese are competing to American capital in a number of business
activities. At the same time, however, the United States is struggling to keep Turkey "anchored in the West," as US Ambassador to Greece
Jeffrey Payat said a few days ago.
Whatever the case, the quarrels and rivalries between the Greek and Turkish bourgeoisie between the Greek and Turkish states do not concern
the interests of the working class on either side of the Aegean. Our interests do not coincide with those of monopoly groups, such as Exxon
Mobile, Total and ELPE, which are going to make a fortune from hydrocarbon mining. The existing transnational dispute between Greece and
Turkey is done exclusively for the prefecture of economic and political power in the region, through the delimitation of the EEZs, the

The states are trying to blind the people with the nationalist poison, in order to drag them into a war for the interests of the

Greek and Turkish civilian armies have been formed. Unilateral and myopic accusations are fired from each side, each of which claims the
"right" in its part by defending its bourgeoisie. Of course, the imperialist rivalries and nationalist narratives that are now becoming the
flags of the two states are systematically and subtly silenced by the bourgeois press and the capitalist media, trying to shape a
nationalist and anti-bourgeois tendency towards the bourgeoisie. .
The Greek state, which spends 2.4% of its GDP annually on NATO spending, announced the next steps of its further militarization: recruitment
of 15,000 permanent servicemen, proposal to increase military service to 12 months, proposal for compulsory military service to 18, doubling
annual state budget for military spending, a desire to buy planes, torpedoes, ammunition from France, a possible purchase of frigates from
Germany and an upgrade of 84 F-16 aircraft that will cost many billions of euros. The Greek state squanders the money from the public
coffers, what it grabs from the toiling and starving people, in order to upgrade its militaristic mechanism, which is in line with the
attempted developmental reconstruction of the Greek capital, NATO's war plans, but also the suppression of any attempted mass expression of
social disobedience and class anger from below. This money could be used to meet the immediate needs of the people, for salaries, pensions,
benefits and allowances, health, education, housing, electricity and water for the poor. The state, however, shows us at every opportunity
which class it serves; that is, the few and the privileged, the capitalists.
In a possible war or hot episode between Greece and Turkey in the guillotine of the imperialist slaughterhouse will put the peoples of the
region, the producers of wealth and the youth of the two countries. But the oppressed and the exploited, no matter where we are on the map,
we have nothing to separate from each other. We must understand the community of our class interests and on this basis organize our
counterattack against those who oppress us and live by our toil. We are not going to fight for the interests of local and international
bosses, we are not going to fight for any homeland, nor are we going to turn the barrels of arms on the working classes of other countries,
from which the rulers are trying to separate us by any artificial means.
It is the duty of the oppressed and exploited to sabotage the machine of imperialist war and prevent the spread of nationalist poison in the
social body! Therefore, it is imperative to strengthen the international anti-war and anti-imperialist movement on the basis of proletarian
internationalism and the relentless anti-capitalist, revolutionary struggle. Only a united world proletariat, class-organized and
politically organized, can prevent the war plans of the capitalist oligarchy, clash and overthrow the state and the capitalists, to lead
collectively, ruthlessly and horizontally the economic and social life, for the construction of a stateless and classless society, of
liberal communism.

Solidarity with Dragon Group workers spreads across the globe ---- September 6th/7th: Textile workers rally and attempt to lay siege on
factory owner's residency in Dhaka ---- On October 12, GWTUC reached an agreement with Dragon Group's management. This puts an end to
several months of union action against the company. As is widely known, thousands of workers were owed unpaid wages and subsidies. During
the past months, they conducted a determined struggle, organizing numerous actions. At the same time, international solidarity spread to

The agreement was signed by the union and representatives of the bosses, the government and the company owners. It means they now accept
that these amounts are owed to the workers, something they had refused to do until now. They will also make regular payments over a period
of time, until the figures indicated in the text are reached. The workers have also made concessions, as they have settled for a lower
amount than they were originally owed.

Following the signing of the agreement, GWTUC have asked their international comrades to halt the solidarity actions for the time being. The
union will closely monitor that the agreement is respected and will take action again if any irregularities are detected.
ICL is a federalist organisation. The workers on the ground are the ones making the decisions, with full autonomy, regarding their
struggles. The International only coordinates the support that other sections and contacts can offer in this endeavour. The initiative
always lies with the workers involved in the conflict, as must be.
Therefore, in response to the GWTUC's request, we call on all unions, groups and organisations that have already demonstrated their
solidarity with the Dragon Group's comrades, to remain alert in case the agreement is not respected. As we already told the company once,
ICL is not a neutral body or an impartial arbitrator. We will always stand by the workers, in Bangladesh and around the world, ready and
willing to respond to their demands, as is the case now.

Yesterday a general strike was called at the University and the Research Centers to denounce and demand, among other demands, a free public
university, labor and personal conciliation and direct hiring. The strike was widely supported by workers from both sectors. ---- The day of
struggle in the city of Valencia consisted of a morning rally at the University of Valencia Rector and in the afternoon a unitary rally in
front of the Faculty of Medicine. Student organizations, workers from the scientific sector and associate professors from the university
also participated in the event. Blasco Ibáñez Avenue has been cut off and slogans such as: "Workers and students united forward", "Without
science there is no future" or "No to precarious research" have been heard.
In the Community of Madrid, the unitary strike of research and universities of the last day of 21O has been actively promoted from the
alliance and collaboration between CNT, FEL and CGT. Yesterday several informational pickets were held, complementing the banners placed
last Monday on various university campuses and other information events deployed: virtual press conference, interviews with the media,
uproar on social networks ... Particularly, from CNT-Comarcal Sur we were picketing in the Madrid headquarters of the UOC -institution that
still does not recognize the work of its collaborating teaching staff and their tutors-, as well as in the Ministry of Science, because
without a science committed to social transformation and that starts from the dignity of its workers..., where are we going? Already in the
afternoon, with the demonstration, that toured part of the city center of Madrid (Atocha - Neptuno - Sol) from 6:00 p.m., in which other
student groups also participated (thank you!), we put a point and followed this joint work for a present and a future worthy in universities
and public research centers. One point and followed, yes, or perhaps two points or an ellipsis, because it is time to continue weaving links
between those of us who want to bet on a "pluriversity" and a public investigation of all and for all.
