The U.S. government has finally investigated Triple F Farms, Inc., a massive factory farm operation that has a virtual monopoly on ferret breeding in the United States. And they discovered that the captive ferrets at this breeding mill have been dying on a daily basis. Animals endure widespread injuries and illnesses, including hernias, eyes that are literally bleeding, and open wounds, yet they're deprived of veterinary attention. Without food or water, ferrets also perish from starvation and dehydration. Mama ferrets and litter-mates watch as their own flesh and blood cry out, flail in distress, and ultimately pass away near them.
If ferrets are lucky enough to survive these nightmarish conditions, they end up in one of two places. Inbred animals are sold off for scientific experimentation in research laboratories where, heartbreakingly, their lives only get worse. "Healthy" ferrets go to pet stores to become companion animals — but no animal emerging from these mills is truly healthy or unscarred. No amount of people wanting fuzzy cuddly pets is worth putting animals through this kind of misery. This whole business of factory farming and mass-breeding ferrets must end now! Sign the petition to demand that the U.S. government immediately shut down the gruesomely abusive Triple F Farms ferret breeding operation!
