Dear friends, Lindsey Graham, a Trump-cronie and U.S. Senator from South Carolina, tried to commit voter fraud. Shortly after the November presidential election, he called up Georgia's Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, who was in charge of overseeing the state's ballot recount. And during that conversation, he told Raffensperger: "look hard and see how many ballots you could throw out." While this type of behavior isn't surprising coming from Graham, it is illegal. Now, the Georgia State Election Board has been called on to investigate Graham for voter fraud. While it may have seemed to Graham that his request was totally normal — since disenfranchisement has been a time-tested Republican strategy — it was in fact both criminal and unconstitutional. Republicans have spent generations in the South using "lost" ballots as a regular tactic against predominantly Black communities, to prevent them from having a say in elections. But those of us who actually respect the law and voters' rights will not allow this to occur anymore. Nobody is above the law...including Lindsey Graham.
