Dear all, As Anarchist Radio Berlin we had a conversation with a comrade from the
New York based anarchist podcast Rebel Steps, which is also a member of the
Channel Zero Podcast Network. Liz talked to us about how she was affected by the
recent presidential elections and how her neighbourhood in NYC welcomed the end

pandemic as well as ways to respond to right wing violence on the street and the
attempts by the media to blame "white anarchists" for riots during the recent

people still organize and what might be some of the upcoming struggles in NYC.

These invisible ones promised to precariousness
Indeed, these massive layoffs are only the tip of the iceberg. At a time when
poverty is exploding in France (more than 10 million people living below the
poverty line) and when the deputies of the majority (allied to those of LR)
decide to wage war on the winter truce , it is not the 150 € exceptional bonus to
deal with the crisis allocated by CAF for the most precarious that will change
the situation. Tomorrow what will become of the poorest workers, temporary
workers, seasonal workers, temporary workers and those who will not see their
precarious contracts renewed and who already had to choose between paying the
rent or eating every day ? Alongside the billions distributed without
compensation to the capitalists that are worth these sparingly distributed crumbs?
Confined but still mobilized
Despite the confinement everywhere on the territory of the employees are
fighting. In recent weeks, mobilizations have been built in the sectors of
health, education, social work, not to mention the multiple demonstrations across
the country against the comprehensive security law. Obviously, these
mobilizations must still grow before they take the form of massive and harsh
street demonstrations. It is therefore vital during the coming weeks that class
and intersectoral solidarities are built. We must everywhere build the conditions
for the success of the dates already announced for the start of the school year.
It is time to organize to eradicate this virus that is capitalism everywhere.
Obviously, these mobilizations must still grow before they take the form of
massive and harsh street demonstrations. But it is also essential that they gain
the ground of companies, and that workers decide to go on strike to significantly
increase the balance of power.

Far from the image of Epinal of a city where life is good, the city of Angers has
seen the development, for several years, of a particularly active and dangerous
radical right-wing group: the Alvarium. Small light on its activities, networks
and modes of action. ---- Last September, we learned from the press that members
of the Angevin nationalist identity group the Alvarium had opened a " squat "
intended to accommodate " native French ". In their usual mythomania, the
fascists had been claiming its opening for two years already. After opening their
premises in the hypercentre, they are no longer afraid to set up a squat with
their faces uncovered. The court decision of September 28 which ordered their
expulsion cannot hide the fact that in Angers the fascists have become a
permanent danger.
Developing for a little over two years in the city, the Alvarium tries to bring
together everything that the far right has more radical: fundamentalist
Catholics, identitarians, disappointed with the RN, neo-Nazis followers of
racialist theories, etc. Far from being isolated, they forge links everywhere: in
Tours (Des tours et des Lys), in Le Mans (Action française), in Brittany (the
Breizh-info site), and with various groups resulting from the dissolution of the
Social stronghold. The Alvarium serving as a meeting point for fascist militants
from the West and beyond.
Like other radical right-wing groups, the Alvarium claims to orient itself
towards the " social ": to understand helping " true French people who are
whiter than white ". In two years of existence, the only activity that they
have succeeded, as best they can, in making last is that of " marauding "
consisting in distributing some foodstuffs to people in great precariousness, to
take a nice photo for them. social networks, and to get warm in their bourgeois
cocoon.
A tartuferie on the backs of the most precarious
The vast majority of the members of the Alvarium are children of the local
bourgeoisie, in short, the " anti-systems " that came from it ... But behind
this social veneer, they have not forgotten the good old practices of their
political current by doing regularly the punch against those and those who oppose
them.
Faced with the growing presence of fascists in our city, it is clear that the
mobilization is struggling to expand. Despite everything, anti-fascist
mobilizations bring together several hundred people in Angers, even though the
disproportionate police presence could dissuade more than one. It is up to the
anti-fascist activists to make their voices heard, to do everything possible to
ensure that the mobilizations against the Alvarium are as united as possible and
to remind those who lose their sense of reality a little too quickly that the
extreme right is not a political current like the others, that if we do not take
care of it, it is he who will take care of us.

AF speech at the demonstration of solidarity with the defenders of the Dannenrod
Forest, which took place on December 9 in Prague ---- The evacuation of "Danni"
has been accompanied by extreme police violence from the beginning. We see that
when it comes to building a highway, the illusion of a democratic state or civil
rights is quickly taking hold. ---- Much of the blocking equipment is well
thought out, but it is based on a simple principle: if you do not want to kill
us, you have to take us down. However, German police officers have repeatedly
shown that the risk of someone's death does not bother them. There are documented
cases of felling trees, on which are attached ropes representing the only
protection for people upstairs from falling from great heights. The ropes are
visible and clearly marked, yet the police have repeatedly cut them.
During the first days of evacuation, the Phizls injured one blocker, whom they
dropped from three meters by cutting the rope. At other times, the activist was
separated from a serious injury only by the strength of a steel rope on which a
felled tree fell. Another man was saved that he had been extremely secure: the
police had beaten the supporting tree with him, and if he had used the usual
security, he would probably be dead now.
Many might think that this is a simple police incompetence or misunderstanding of
the way people are insured in crowns. But not by mistake. The Fizls clearly
reveal their approach by openly torturing the blockers and abusing the fact that
the law itself protects them from possible defense. They constantly use the most
painful grabs possible, beating and humiliating people from pure sadism. They
smashed a window with the head of a man, at other times they shot a taser at a
height of twenty meters - as if they clearly wanted someone to die.
They freely spray the activists with a water cannon in the cold, forcing them to
lie on the ground for hours. They insult them, humiliate them, cut a woman's
hair... It is no wonder that the girls are trying to get journalists and medics
out of place in every possible way.
All this in a country that in many ways is considered a model of Western
democracy. For the sake of something as disgusting as felling a rare forest.
However, police violence against people who dare to resist something immoral in a
non-violent way is far from being the German exception. Many of us received
wounds and scars from various events here in the Czech Republic. Let us recall,
for example, the protest in the North Bohemian coal mine Bílina, where the police
broke ribs, ran into defenseless people on horseback and forced the detainee to
sit for long hours in the summer sun. This was followed by insane fines and an
attempt to punish activists who were not even at the event.
If someone thinks that the police are the defender of our rights, to whom it is
appropriate to even thank in the protests, they should sober up quickly. Whenever
we do something that hurts the industrial lobby or its policies, sooner or later
the police will kneel, beat us, handcuff us, insult us, break our own rules and
try to discourage us from taking further action. But she will never succeed.
We have each other against violence, our common courage, solidarity and the hope
that the world can be different and better. And this is the message with which we
address all of you who have been affected by what is happening in the Dannenrod
Forest. Despite bullying, we can and will continue to: take care of each other,
organize and not be afraid. When someone hates us, they show that they are afraid
of us. In the end, we win.

For several months now, we have been in the midst of an unprecedented health,
humanitarian and social crisis, where the spread of the covid-19 pandemic
highlights in the most emphatic way the criminal nature of the state and
capitalism. ---- To date, the state has not taken any action that is really
related to tackling the virus, measures that go primarily through strengthening
the public health system. A system that the state and capital have been trying to
dismantle for years through underfunding, layoffs of medical and nursing staff,
cuts in equipment and the closure of hospitals. ---- Instead, political
administrators attempt through the media, with the rhetoric of individual
responsibility, to transfer full responsibility for cases and victims to us, to
those below this world, rinsing governments and states of their own their
criminal responsibilities. At the same time, anyone who tries to resist the
imposition of modern state dystopia is violently targeted and suppressed.
In prisons, there are extreme conditions of overcrowding in a few square meters
and congestion that violate even the very laws of the rotten system of power and
oppression. Today, the cases in all the prisons of Greece are hundreds, a fact
that creates the conditions for the creation of millions of dead prisoners in the
near future .In Diavata prison, 3 prisoners have already lost their lives. Where
cases occur in prisons, the only measure that is applied is that of isolating the
cases in cells stacked on top of each other and without any health care at all.
In the prisons of Larissa, hundreds of prisoners were diagnosed positive for the
virus after their own mobilization with which they demanded to undergo mass
tests. Among them is the anarchist Vangelis Stathopoulos, a prisoner who belongs
to the vulnerable groups and experiences state analgesia in practice . The
management of covid-19 in prisons is an ongoing state crime.

dropped from three meters by cutting the rope.

Message: 6
