Dear friends, In an impoverished state called Hidalgo, Mexico, a paralyzed dog named Carmella needs a doggy wheelchair. Will you be a part of helping her live a normal life? Please donate now and help Carmella have the chance to run and play like a normal dog. More than 3,000 street dogs roam the chaotic streets of Hidalgo. Many become victims of hit-and-run accidents by cars and trains. Reckless drivers speed down the roads, not caring if they run over innocent animals. Carmella was mown down by a speeding car and left to suffer and die! Please donate now Carmella was struck by a hit-and-run driver late at night and left for dead in the middle of the road. Terrified and in agony, this brave girl dragged herself out of the road and crawled to a nearby house, hoping for rescue. The householder took her to the Fiona Animal Refuge in Hidalgo, where she was immediately examined. Carmella was in bad shape, severely dehydrated and unable to eat or drink. With love and medical care, she slowly recovered. But more tragedy awaited…  After a month, she started to crawl, but it was apparent she could not stand or put any weight on her back legs. Sadly, the poor little dog is paralyzed for life. Carmella deserves the chance of some happiness! Please donate now Through all her pain, she remained a sweet dog and never once growled or showed aggression. Carmella is in desperate need of a doggy wheelchair so she can exercise the rest of her body.
