our 13 years as a political organization. Organized anarchism has a much longer

system. Born from the same sinus of the people's struggle. In Argentina,
politically organized anarchism has been present since the late th century as a
revolutionary political proposal, and continues throughout the th century with
some experiences, while losing influence on social struggles as the decades advanced.
It was the path marked by the Uruguayan Anarchist Federation and the Brazilian
Anarchist Coordination that has given guidance to bring anarchism back to the
social struggles of our time in the region. With more than sixty years of
trajectory, the fAu and twenty specific construction in Brazil, these sister
organizations have shown that anarchism should be involved in social struggles
and popular resistances in organized form, with constancy, commitment and
self-sacrifice. In the same sense, in our city the experience of the Rosario
Anarchist Organization (OAR) in the late s was key to the return of anarchism to
social struggles. FAR is one more expression of that process that has been
carried out from regional specificity.
That's why we decided for this Congress to regain the figure of Nora Giavedoni,
militant anarchist rosarina, who was part of the Anarchist Organization of
Rosario and who died thirteen years ago, just months after the birth of our
organization. The history of anarchism, in Argentina and around the world, is
full of people and collective experiences worth remembering. Thousands of
colleagues and colleagues who played their lives to transform the system, for the

militants detainedxs missing from the latest military dictatorship. But we resume
Nora's performance because we feel her close, as part of the specificism that
comes to our days, and because she would definitely be fighting by our side today.
On the other hand, Congress parallels the campaign for parliamentary elections

insist that this strategy demonstrates time and again that all it serves is to
weaken all practice and strategy of fighting and resilience of the people. We
understand that the road should be another, and we see that there is a whole
field of action for our political proposal. There in the set of expressions of
resistance that do not find their channel in the institutions, in all those
initiatives that do not settle for changing the face of the same capitalist
monster and that can be the engine of resistance against the social and health
crisis, building a project of socialism and freedom.
Therefore we choose as a slogan for this III Congress ŽŽ For the construction of
a strong people ŽŽ as we believe that the priority is the role of the people,
possible through the strengthening of popular organizations, the only way to
achieve a socialist and libertarian society. Building a strong people should be
our goal in this stage of resistance, an activity that involves us every day, and
that we develop it in the unions, aiming to recover these tools so that they can
serve the interests of the working class. In the peripheral neighborhoods
articulating vindicative and community struggles, and from student centers where
the fight is given for public education.
