government's plan to strike at the social movement, putting the anarchists in a
state of permanent exclusion,
The next period was the beginning of a series of Libertatia defense movements,
starting with the pan-Balkan rally on March 10, 2018, which aimed both at
supporting a struggle structure that had suffered a major blow and at
highlighting an internationalist stance against nationalist and fascist
threatening. The defense moves culminated in the decision taken to continue the
presence of comrades and to rebuild the fire-damaged building, a move with a
highly symbolic character to defend the occupied structures of struggle against
state and parastate violence.

Since then and with the change of government in July 2019 and the total
repressive attack launched by the government against the anarchist movement and
the structures of the struggle, with the ultimatum addressed to the anarchist
squatters and the mass evacuations last summer, the state violence and repression
comes to complement the action of the parastatals. Two police raids took place in
the occupation of Libertatia, in the summer of 2020, which resulted in the arrest
of 16 more comrades accused of their participation in the anti-fascist struggle
and their solidarity with the occupation of Libertatia.

However, as their previous repressive actions failed, these current ones will
also fail. The militant response given by the recapture of the building by Rosa
Nera's comrades, the completion of the roof of the Libertatia building, against
all attempts to suppress it and the 1000 people who demonstrated in Thessaloniki
against the police and solidarity with the evacuated Terra Incognita show that we
are not walking alone on the road to the race.

On Wednesday, September 1, the first of a series of courts in Libertatia's
solidarity and defense movements, cases related to each other through solidarity
and defense of the structures that accept state and parastate violence, as well
as through struggle for reconstruction as the culmination of this issue. In a
period of intensified repression against struggle structures, militants, the
movement itself and social and class resistance, let us promote solidarity and
collectivism against the attempts to divide the oppressed classes. Because the
