Call for microphone solidarity to Mataraga-Kalaitzidis by the Local Coordination
of Thessaloniki of the Anarchist Political Organization - Federation ofCollectivities ---- In June 2016, the organization "Armed Groups of Militia"
executes the miner in the area of Exarcheia, also known as "Habibi". "Habibi"
appeared as a kind of leader of the local mafia of Exarcheia who for years
stagnated in the area, always in collaboration with the police and the local
police. He and his herd, in addition to the drug trade, were at the forefront of
a series of cannibalistic behaviors against neighborhood residents, square
patrons and movement activists who at the time rallied to deal with the drug
mafia and re-occupy the area. Exarcheion. One of the "cannibalistic" behaviors of
"Habibi" was the murderous attack with a knife in March of that year,
5 years later a conspiracy is set up against 2 fighters. On October 13, 2021, G.
Kalaitzidis and N. Mataragas are tried on the charges of moral and physical
instigation, respectively, in the case of the execution of the drug dealer Habibi
in exarchate in 2016. The only evidence for this case is the publication of G.
Kalaitzidis on the internet, for the attack he had received from "Habibi" outside
K * BOX (he was one of the 3) in which he opposes the cannibalistic behaviors of
himself and the drug mafia, but also the testimonies of alleged witnesses who
belong to to drug dealers of the same mafia.
It is obvious that the state in another attempt to hit the anarchist movement,
seeks through the judiciary to send 2 militants to prison. This blow is another
state conspiracy in order to impose itself on the movement and to bend its
resistance. A policy that seems to have followed the following course in
Exarchia: First the parastate with the mafia practices and the drug trade
devalued the area and tried to impose itself on its inhabitants and the people of
the movement and then the repressive blows of the police on structures and
squatters of the struggle in order to degrade the presence of anarchists in the
region. So this trial comes to complement the effort to impose the state against
the organized movement. But the conspiracy will fall.
