In a statement published the other day with the signature of "Individuals Leaving
DAF", people defined as the "leader and wife" of the Revolutionary AnarchistFederation, which is known with the abbreviation DAF, especially female DAFmembers, have experienced physical violence, labor exploitation, verbal abuse, etc. It was stated that they were subjected to all kinds of oppression anddomination. Right after, in the statement made on behalf of DAF, it was arguedthat "sanctions have been imposed" for two years and "observations" have beencontinued, although "we do not accept what is written except for some of thementioned violence events". While all this was going on, we also came acrossstatements from some DAF members that took care of the people in question.Unfortunately, all these developments, exactly 20 years ago, led to the violenceof the organization called AGF (Anarchist Youth Federation) against someanarchists (which we also openly condemned at that time) and the burgeoningleader who, for some reason, claimed to be more "revolutionary-combatant" thanothers. brought to mind the cult. In fact, one of the main reasons why we avoidedestablishing direct relations with the organization in question (DAF) for yearswas that we were aware that its "founders" came from the same "tradition". Yet inour communications with some of the anarchists associated with the DAF over thepast few years, we have shown solidarity in some cases while refraining fromhighlighting such negativities. However, due to these grave developments, weannounce that we have completely cut off our communication with the organizationsand individuals in question.Although some of us have a long history, we are an anarchist collective that hasbeen trying to act together for over twenty years; Even though we do not exist atthe collective level in the "political" area as much as before, due to somerestrictions imposed by time and space, even though we live in different citiesand even in different lands, we try to maintain our solidarity and communicationby developing it. In this sense, while we care about the determination of thosestill in struggle, we do not claim to be neither the most "revolutionary" nor themost "combatant" for ourselves; On the other hand, we are in favor of not onlypolitical but also solidarity-based organization. We are among those who believe that organizing is important to anarchists; However, unlike authoritarian mentalities, while we think that the organizationis a "means" rather than a "goal", we are in favor of recreating life withmethods that are not based on "force" without waiting for an indefinite day ofrevolution, and most importantly, constructing organizations in a way that allowsdirect participation without hierarchy, without domination. . For this veryreason, we find it difficult to understand the motive of protecting the"organization" and the "leader" rather than the gravity of the events in question. We suggest that this statement be seen as a transfer of experience beyond "takingadvantage of an opportunity", that there are other anarchists who arepro-organization-struggle, and most importantly, those who define themselves asanarchists should re-read the following statements written by Malatesta in 1929:"I think the important thing is not the triumph of our plans, our projects, ourutopias-they need to be validated by life, and can be modified, developed andadapted to the real moral and material conditions of time and space. The realproblem is that people, women and men, It is to this moral emancipation thatanarchists must be particularly devoted to free themselves from the herdinstincts and habits that thousands of years have instilled in them, and to learnto think and act freely."AKA - Anarchy Collective Ankarahttps://ankanarsi.blogspot.com/2021/11/musibetten-kurtulma-uzerine.html_________________________________________A - I N F O S N E W S S E R V I C EBy, For, and About AnarchistsSend news reports to A-infos-en mailing listA-infos-en@ainfos.ca
