The driver of the car seduced thedistributor after violating three previous red lights and moving at high speed.As if all this were not enough, on October 26, a boat full of refugees sank offChios, resulting in the death of three children and a woman. The geopoliticalgames and wars of small and large imperialists have for years now forced refugeesto cross the Aegean and the Evros in search of security in Europe. The Greekstate responds with illegal deportations, fences and concentration camps.This escalation of "unfortunate incidents" tends to become a regularity and amacabre habit. It is a product of social cannibalism and the attack of the stateand capital on the people of our class. It is a result of the capitalist systemthat kills whoever is "in excess".We, for our part, refuse to accept as normal that every boss's profits come outof our own blood. That at the same time that our bosses are making super profits,the workers must stretch more and more and risk their lives every day for a dayjob-tip (a condition that intensified after the anti-labor bill Hatzidakis, whichlegalized with the parliament of the state, what until now the bosses were tryingto impose on us illegally).We refuse to accept as normal the cowboy cops who think they can decide - andenforce - that the misdemeanor of car theft or the misdemeanor of not stopping incontrol can lead to the death penalty. We refuse to accept it as normal to beatpeople because they are parked in quarantined parks, to beat strikers andprotesters, to sexually harass them on the street or in sections, to torture andkill in the cold.We refuse to accept as normal the drowned migrants and refugees at sea, the(illegal) deportations from the port in the Aegean or the army in Evros but alsofrom the various parastatal mechanisms that have been operating undisturbed foryears, the (illegal) deportations even from the urban centers by the uniformedfascists of the Hellenic Liberation Army, but also the lack of housing, the lackof access to medical care, the escalating exclusion from the inalienable right ofasylum, etc.We refuse to accept as normal the peaceful cannibals next door, who rejoicebecause a "gypsy" was killed or because "illegal immigrants" drowned.To every power, we respond now and always with class solidarity. The poor andmarginalized, the undervalued and precarious, the persecuted because of wars andthe persecution of every power and every state, in short, those at the base ofthe social pyramid with the result that the state and capital consider them /their consumables and unnecessary, for us they are at the heart of our solidarity.It is our duty to defend the dignity and free movement of all immigrants andrefugees, erasing the border lines drawn by the authorities for their nationals.It is our duty to defend our class interests against those of the bosses who wantto sacrifice us - metaphorically and literally - on the altar of their profit. Itis our duty to counteract the repressive mechanisms of the state which are themost tangible and visible version of the violence that capital exercises daily inits attempt to devalue and control / discipline our lives, in order to "accept"its demands as regularity.
