From July 28 to 31, 2022, a meeting will take place in Saint-Imier for the 150th
anniversary of the Saint-Imier Congress which, in 1872, led to the founding ofthe Anti-Authoritarian International, an event that marked the birth of theanarchist movement organized. ---- Thus, 4 days of meetings, conferences,concerts, seminars and various activities will take place. An opportunity forlibertarian sympathizers, the inhabitants of the region, of other places and forall audiences, to meet, debate, share and live the experience of libertarianideas and practices. It will also be the occasion for those who have not yetdiscovered the richness of the movement, to learn about its contributions tosocial progress and the struggles of the last centuries until today.What do anarchists do today? What are their ideas, their works and their actions?How have they contributed to world history for more than 150 years? What can welearn from this concept, and why the Anarchy is more desirable than ever?Anarchy does not mean chaos or absence of order at all, on the contrary: anarchydefends anti-authoritarian and self-managed personal and social organization,aims at the emancipation of all human beings, fights against all forms ofoppression, exploitation and imposed authority ., seeks to promote freedom(absence of domination), equity (absence of privileges) and mutual aid (mutuality).On this occasion, we wish to welcome participants from all continents.
