The Brazilian Anarchist Coordination expresses solidarity with the strike by
workers at Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC), which began last Friday, November26, after the company suspended the collective agreement. Journalists andbroadcasters from EBC bravely resist the privatization of the company and againstthe precariousness of working conditions and the wage squeeze imposed by thecompany's management. ---- Linked to the federal government, EBC is a publiccommunications company that brings together vehicles such as TV Brasil, AgênciaBrasil, Rádios MEC and Nacional. Workers fight against the rigging of the companyby the Bolsonaro government, while resisting in defense of the company, against abackdrop of private media oligopoly. Therefore, the defense of your rights ismore than fair!It is worth remembering the recent struggle of journalists from São Paulo'snewspapers and magazines, who in a mobilization unprecedented in decades managedto wrest the inflation adjustment last year from their bosses.
