 This year was tough for us here in Italy: powerful forces coalesced to sabotage our fight against anti-LGBT+ hate.

For months, we worked tirelessly to get a major LGBT+ anti-discrimination bill passed.

But opponents of equality managed to block the bill at the last minute.

This setback will not stop our fight for LGBT+ rights in Italy. Because we've got something much more powerful: YOU.

Together we have already achieved so much: When my group, Da' voce al rispetto, started its petition with All Out, over 135,000 of you jumped into action to support it, alongside dozens of high-profile influencers in Italy.

So, I'm not giving up! We are already preparing for the next steps to protect LGBT+ people from hate and bring Italy in line with international standards.

But we need your help to make that happen. – Can you donate just $5 to All Out so that we're ready to keep fighting for LGBT+ lives in Italy in 2022?

Here are some other ways the All Out movement fueled our fight in Italy this year:

• Together with Da' voce al rispetto and the platform Change, we delivered over 460,000 signatures to the President of the Senate, the second-highest office in the country,
• Together with Change, we lit up Rome with a huge message in favor of a swift approval of the LGBT+ discrimination bill, drowning out our opponents' hate,
• And, we participated in colorful protests in over 50 Italian cities!

That's no small feat. But we need your help one last time this year.

None of this would have been possible without YOU.

Knowing that I can count on the support of a powerful global movement, fills me with hope that we will complete the long and difficult journey to equality, safety and dignity for LGBT+ people here in Italy. It gives me the reassurance that history is on our side.
