As the Assembly of Anarchists for Social and Class Emancipation, we carried out aseries of actions against the criminal state management of the pandemic, whichresulted in 21,000 deaths. We hung banners at the hospitals "Laiko" and"Evangelismos" on 15/12 and 18/12 respectively, we participated in themobilization of the health at the Ministry of Health on 15/12 and we carried outinterventions with banners, text sharing and T-shirts outside the hospital"Evangelismos" on 24/12 and at the "General Hospital of Nice" on 30/12.The text of the Assembly of Anarchists for Social and Class Emancipation that wasshared in the above interventions and mobilizations:Against the murderous management of the pandemic by the state and the bossesIMMEDIATE STRENGTHENING OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH SYSTEMALL FOR EVERYONE! FOOD, HEALTH, EDUCATION, HOUSINGWe are in a period of total systemic crisis with the anti-insurgency andanti-social agenda of the rulers unfolding with increasing intensity while thepandemic acts as a catalyst for the sweeping attack of the state and bossesagainst the vast majority of society and on all fronts. In this suffocatingreality, the outbreak of the pandemic with the dozens of dead every day, whichhave exceeded 20,000 in total, is nothing but the result of criminal statemanagement, complete indifference and the absolute devaluation of life itself. Atthe same time that thousands of people are getting sick and have already losttheir lives as a result of the methodical abandonment and downsizing of thepublic health system (with staff shortages, material and hospitals) - far-rightpolitical management accelerates anti-social restructuring processes and therupture of the social base by depriving them of the necessary social goods,leading more and more sections of society to further exploitation and oppression.So today, when further pressure is expected on public hospitals due to theOmicron mutation, instead of improving the NSS, government spending on health isreduced by 800 million euros - according to the budget voted a few days ago for2022 - instead of manning the MMM, where passengers are crowded daily to go towork and to strengthen the means of protection for employees, routes andequipment are cut, instead of staffing schools and building infrastructure, Inorder to ensure the basic conditions for the thousands of students, teachers anddepartments, departments are merged and staff recruitment is reduced. At the sametime, the political and financial bosses continue to support the police with newequipment and recruits of all kinds of cops, the army with new armament programsand the media spokesmen of the government with subsidies.A full-frontal attack of the political and economic bosses, which is manifestedin even harsher terms, against the social base, the poor, the untouchables, thosewho are fighting. From the rise of employer terrorism and state aggression, whichhas led to the continued killing of exploited workers, the confinement ofthousands of refugees and migrants in modern-day Dachau concentration camps, andthe thousands of land and water killings across land and water. bullets, tortureand beatings of uniformed murderers of democracy in police stations, divisions,demonstrations, strikes and neighborhoods.For our part, as anarchists, we realize that no system of exploitation andoppression is going to care about our health and survival, except to the extentthat we are useful for its reproduction. We join our voices with the healthworkers who claim to strengthen public health in the already saturated anddeficient public hospitals, against the anti-social bills that promoteprivatization, mergers and the closure of public health structures and hospitals.We stand in solidarity with all those who face the regime of exclusion (refugees,immigrants, prisoners) and all those who fight in the streets, neighborhoods,exploitation areas, schools and colleges against the imposition of state andcapitalist barbarism. Against the state and capitalist system that has nothingmore to offer than poverty, misery and death to sharpen social and classresistance to overthrow the bankrupt world of power. In the face of defeatism,frustration, state repression and terrorism, let us take lives into our ownhands, organize and strengthen collectively and from below the struggle for theSocial Revolution.
