A few days later, a space is occupied in the Chemist ofthe Aristotle University of Thessaloniki by supporters in the evacuatedoccupation of the "Hangout in the Biological", in response to the evacuation. Thestate did not take long to show its teeth, invading the university againyesterday after two days, arresting the 15 fighters who defended it and causing alot of material damage.On the same day, on 12/1, another police raid took place, this time in ASOEE.This is not the first time we see images of cops inside the ASOEE area as it wasthe first university to be invaded by MAT squads after the abolition of asylum.The reason was yesterday's attack by a group of strangers on a teacher during alesson - who is accused of participating in child sexual abuse circuits and usurycases - the attempt by students to tear down a wall erected by the rector'soffice. , where students used to socialize and study. There was a reaction fromthe students, while 6 students were arrested. Today, there was a mobilization ofStudent Associations in ASOEE and a General Assembly was convened which decidedto conduct an anti-repression student march in Syntagma and occupy the universitytomorrow.The images and videos released on the internet by the police operation show thatthe government is implementing the Kerameos-Chrysochoidis law in practice.Starting from the application of the minimum admission base, we reach thepresence of the cops in the schools, who hit, throw chemicals and arrest. At thesame time, the controlled entry to the university premises, with thedemonstration of the passport (or identity card), is more part of the controlledentry of law 4777/2021 than a way of health protection. At the same time, adonation of 752,456 euros was announced from a non-profit company of theinterests of the shipowner Martinos, to AUTh, PAPEI, ASOEE and EKPA andinformation that has been published recently wants OPPI to be established inuniversities in May. Thus, the State and Capital make once again clear theirwillingness to intensify the repression in the university premises so as todispel any organized claim that puts the needs of our class first and goesagainst their interests.The criminalization of trade unionism, the creation of sterile spaces within theschools as well as the attempt to silence the collective struggles and claims isthe attempt of the government to attack the student movement and its struggles.But nothing will be left unanswered. We will continue to fight against repressionand authoritarianism.
