In the midst of a social crisis that is getting worse every day, the CGT, CTA and
social movements announced this week a mobilization for the month of August. ----This occurs in a scenario where our living conditions have been sufferingconstant attacks due to the advanced adjuster from above. Today we are millionsof people who cannot fill the plate or access basic necessities, much less aBasic Food Basket that is around one hundred and sixty thousand, while the dollarand inflation do not stop climbing and affect our pocket. This is why we workershave been demanding the need to reopen the parity now, in the face of aninflationary escalation of more than 40% so far this year.Faced with this pressing situation that we oppressed have been enduring, therecovery of the street as a scene of political definition and demonstration ofstrength by those from below is a priority.In this sense, we see how a group of organizations aligned with the governmentbegin to show the exhaustion of their institutional commitments and resume thepath of mobilization to channel the discontent of their bases. Anarchism hashistorically been stating that the institutions of the bourgeoisie can only servethe bourgeoisie. This premise is confirmed in reality, when we see that thegovernment becomes a simple instrument of the adjustment policies of the IMF.Once again we affirm: there are no contradictions within the State, and there isno possible articulation between above and below. Only struggle and popularorganization will allow us to resist and open the way for a break with the system.Therefore, far from getting lost in the political and electoral disputes of thoseabove, those of us below must focus on the tools that strengthen us. We know thatthe change of figure that the Ministry of Economy had in recent weeks, withspeeches of relief and tranquility (for the "markets"), will not bring aboutchanges in the living conditions of those below. The measures, as a result of thegovernment's agreement with the IMF, will be supported by the ruling classestooth and nail: tariff hikes, inflation, labor reform projects, theprecariousness of life.In short, the adjustment will continue to eat away at the few rights that theoppressed retain after centuries of struggle. The way to sustain and recover ourachievements remains the same with which we achieved them: the street. It is notonly our only alternative, it is the best.
